Comments of BL Burgers
f.
Good not great. Have tried pretty much all the burgers, all decent except probably the vegetarian burger - average patty. Can veer a bit sweet, e.g. the maple aioli and chilli jam both way to sweet. If you get the fried chicken burger suggest no chilli jam, and poutine scrap the maple aioli unless you're a sweet tooth. Standard beef burger with BL sauce probably my favourite
R. W.
If you like a messy, chunky, end of day burger, this place is for you. Forget a nice hipster/brioche bun burger, get the piled on burger for the full experience. This place was actually recommended by the hotel I was staying at, and it did not disappoint. The place has some sick wall artwork too, great atmos. Would go again.
K. C.
Bar Luca arguably one of the greats in the omni burger game. Vegan burger game, well hungry jacks got the jump on you.
Having had the OG heart attack blame Canada and many others this review isn't about that. Those are still a 5 in my eyes.
People change, society changes and you have to move with the times. The veg burger, vegan style, I had just seemed like they wanted to try but didn't seemed to get there.
It was a little dry, the pattie they used was a like a well done beef burg and it didn't have the depth that the rest of the lineup had.
I know they can do better. Try again and I will.
J. D.
Solid burgers! Great options in the menu, if you're going for the first time get a blade Canada, you won't be disappointed. Great beef patties, maple bacon very flavoursome and buns are good, were just a little dry on the day I went. Will be back again for more.
M. B.
I usually take the classic cheeseburger as the other ones are way too big for me. Very good. The only negative point is how they cook it. I like beef meat medium rare and I even asked them but at the end it was too cooked. The Blame and Flame burgers are surprising. With poutine inside but apparently VERY GOOD. My friends always take these ones when we go.
Z. L.
Cool, deep hole-in-the-wall type of burger joint. A narrow decor coloured by graffiti art on the walls and a token burger slide at the back of the shop. Great lunch deals make this an easy place to pick to go for a $15-20 burger meal with fries and a drink included. Every day has a special, the Saturday pick being the best one.
L. M.
Time after time BL proves itself to truely be the best burger experience in Sydney, possibly the world. The flavour combinations that these guys come up with week after week never cease to delight, and the standard menu items are amazing. Hiiighly reccomend a Blame Canada burger with a side of poutine - although you might want to fast for a day leading up to it and a day after!
T.
Great localised burger joint under Bar Luca Burgers (hence BL). The menu is smaller than the more popular location, but all the classics are here and made just as good.
If you've had Bar Luca before, it's exactly the quality you expect. Definitely worth eating here or taking away. The staff there are extremely nice and welcoming and work fast given the amount of orders they get.
It's a great place to just sit down and enjoy some food with your friends. They also have a nice novelty slide from the kitchen to the front counter where the burgers can travel which is quite amusing.
M. S.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. Instantly top 3. Blame Canada is a must have for any burger enthusiastic. Their special blame Japan was not as good but it didn't lower the experience any.
N. “. a. D.
amazing food, good customer service. it was a nice and clean too so no complaints. lettuce bun could use a little work? maybe use some bigger leaves next time but otherwise really good place
D. B.
Look this is not the worst burger I have ever had but it's far from the best. Way to much sauce is used to the point it's all you can taste. The person at the counter seemed disinterested in their job and grunted and shrugged their way through the order process.
Quite a high price for such a b grade burger, again it isn't terrible it's just OK, I would not return unless I was drunk.
J. B.
Got their poutine and their burger special for the week Fryer Le Beouf (beef patties, American cheese, curly fries, beef jus, and cafe de Paris butter) through UberEats. Both were fantastic! Their poutine is seriously delicious; their maple aioli really sets is apart from other poutines. And their burger was really solid; their beef patties are always juicy and well cooked.
K. K.
Food is always delicious, large burgers but then you'd hope so with their price tag. Love the unique weekly specials they come up with and staff are always very friendly!
J. B.
Delicious burger and the fries were yum too! Quality taste and what I would expect for the price.
Nice feel in the restaurant and the playlist was all killer no filler when we were in there!
Would recommend and visit again, next time we are in Sydney.
C. M.
Had the classic cheese and the shoestring fries with aioli. Decent burger and decent fries, not the best I've ever had but still pretty good. Would definitely come here again.
A. W.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Mr T-ruffle burger, which I ordered via Uber Eats. Perfectly cooked beef pattie, maple bacon, mushrooms, with truffle aioli (you could really taste the truffle!). Bun was super soft, and overall flavors were really well balanced. Honestly might be the best burger I’ve ever had!
N. G.
The blame Canada is a seriously good burger, 10/10. Really good job guys, 6 stars if you get an alcohol licence! A beer would have gone down perfectly alongside this feast.
D. V.
Good burger with possible customization, fast delivery, it's only high bar table so not very children friendly but you can enter with a pram
A. L.
Just search on Google for "best burger in Sydney" and it is exactly what I got when I went to BL Burgers.
The Flame Canada burger is rich in taste as the chips. I will be back there next time I am in Sydney.
D. g.
The burgers, hacks and fries are worth the wait. It's Bar Louca's take away shop but without the need to make a reservation. It's a good way to prepare before a big night out.
B. E. M.
Oh damn...... it had a litttle bit of a kick but nothing i couldn't handle. The special was spot on as it had that Cheeky kick of Chilli that hit you afterwards. Their special was as good as always. I do love my Peri Peri and it was pretty delicous. I couldn't resist Adding something and why not some Liquid Cheese.
Cheeky Nandos
▪Chilli Fried Chicken
▪Liquid Cheese
▪American Cheese
▪Chargrilled Onion
▪Lettuce
▪Peri Peri
▪Chilli Milk Bun
I finally got some points on the BL App!! If you haven't downloaded yet get on it.
Available on both Android and Apple.
P. M.
Good burgers, nice quality and tasting patty. Great buns, although quite expensive for what you get. Classic Cheese and fries for $18.22
S.
Their 'Blame Canada' is famous for a reason. My absolute favourite burger!
M. S.
Blame Canada burger was phenomenal!! Great customer service aswell, they had a minor issue with their POS system and we were given complimentary chips for waiting!
A. I.
This is the absolute best place in the world, the burgers here are divine. When you go get the Blame Canada with a Mozerella Cheese Patty. This is the most delicious thing you will ever eat, it'll run you about $21 but it is worth it.
S. L.
One of the best burger places in Sydney! It's a must try for burger enthusiasts and foodies. Service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend the Bar Luca burger (photo)
F. P.
Burger was very oily and too "rich". The bun was sweet, also had maple baked bacon also very sweet. All in all I would say it was ok especially if u like the burger almost tasting like a dessert. Also the fries were nice but SALTY to the heavens.
R. N.
Good burger! Enjoyed it. one of the best In Sydney that I tried.
Nice and attentive staff!
I. M.
Love the crew and the creativity at BL Burgers. Week after week there is always someone enticing you in-store and it's not as easy as everyone thinks it would be.
C. J.
Seriously the best burgers I've ever tasted
T.
Friendly staff, fast service and tasty food. Do recommend.
T. B.
Big tasty burgers. The loaded fries are delicious.
T. J.
Burgers are exceptional, best in Sydney. Customer service could be a bit better though. Would definently recommend going here if you want a burger. Get the blame Canada!
j. s.
"The Trump Tower" a great burger but I would still recommend "Blame Canada" if this your first time at BL.
J. N.
Only had a chance to try the takeaway but it was really good. So many menu options, and food preferences catered to- keto, gluten free, vegan, Vegeterian etc. So good.
S. L.
Blame Canada is the best with juicy meat. The only thing I don't like is its fries is so thin.
N. L.
Always a fan of these fantastic burgers, however, they are a bit on the expensive side. I paid $18 for just a burger. No fries or drink, just the burger.
Definitely not somewhere where you can eat daily, but worth going on special occasions.
Their weekly deals are always worth asking about, as they will use different ingredients and often provide an incomparable experience.
The only thing i would like to see change is the prices, but the food here is definitely 5 stars.
S. O.
Fully Satisfied Customer, that Flame Canada was the best I had till date. And thr fries, that sweet and salty taste. 😋😋😋
E.
Ordered through Uber Eats. It took a little bit long but the burger and the fries were good and tasty.
C. B.
Just awesome, the blame Canada with its maple bacon is great, chips were good too, staff are nice. Great place for a treat burger and chips. Can see why they won so many awards.
C. M.
Had a great late evening meal here on the weekend. Burger was very tasty and exactly what I was looking for.
Can see how people would think it's a bit pricey, but if you want "fast food" burgers there's other places down the street that are cheaper and taste like it.
Add-ons do make your bill higher, so be aware of that - it is comparable to what I'd expect to pay for 1 person for a fast-casual dine out, though.
Staff was friendly, but like many Aussie places apparently you need to play music as loudly as possible for some reason, while two "woke" bro customers yell over the music so they can dissect the current geopolitical structure of the Western world...loud music doesn't muffle morons pretending to know politics who should just be eating their food.
S. R.
Ordered BL chicken burger. Was big enough, quite nice in taste. I personally did not like the child jam inside, but overall was very happy with the service and food.
l. g.
Always good to have a burger here✔️
Had the special of the week Cinco De Porco
P. W.
Delicious fried chicken burger, crispy juicy fresh!
Staff could have been more helpful. Board says $5 to get "Chips and a drink" but dishonest in that this doesn't specify a can or bottle, and you'll be made to feel silly that you made an assumption you could get any "drink" at the counter... Also when the shop only has two groups of customers it would have been nice to have it brought to you instead of someone quietly saying your name over the music and getting frustrated when you don't collect your meal.
Other than that, good vibe, good food which overall makes it a good time.
A. M.
Good food. Nice selection to choose from. Interesting combinations that work well together
B. C.
Great burger bar. Burgers are loaded with sauce which I love & the beef patties lovely & moist. Would he loved it more if burgers came with fries standard. Them fries are just what my doctor ordered. Will definitely be back with some more friends 💯
S. H.
Their burgers are amazing. The orders don't take long to prepare and the staff are very nice. Try out the Blame Canada burger with a side of fries, the portions are big and are good value for money but make sure you have napkins as it can get a little messy.
J. N.
Love the burgers made here. Had their 'Blame Canada.' Friendly staff and good customer service. The place is unique and nice to chill by yourself or with your mates. The menu is delicious. I'm in love with their burgers and bbq chicken wings.
E. D.
Absolutely superb - you can’t go wrong.
J. K.
Great burger joint!
This is definitely one of the top 3 burger places in Sydney. High quality burger and they don't go overboard with what's inside. Plus if you like liquid cheese, they use it very well both in their burgers and their poutine.
S. R.
Great burgers - the best is Blame Canada. Service is a little hit and miss and slow. Can get really busy at night and crowded. No bathrooms and no tap water available. Have different burger each week which is always great to try. Best burger place around in Sydney. Deliver too!
B. N.
BL Burgers are awesome! I order from BL most weeks, and the food is always excellent - burgers are huge and delicious. Staff are super friendly also - my order was late once (entirely the fault of Deliveroo), and the guys kindly included free ice cream - even though it was not their fault. Highly recommended, pay BL Burgers a visit.
R. G.
Best burger I've ever had.. and I've been around the block a few times
N. M. (.
Probably the best burgers in Sydney. Their weekly specials are always great and the burgers are always perfectly flavoured and not ridiculous in size so you can actually fit it in your mouth. The Blame Canada is a unicorn burger, I highly recommend it!
K. L.
Pretty good burgers 🍔
Cool atmosphere and interesting burger slider.
k. y.
Their burger was fabulous! Even though the sauce was a bit too much that I kept wiping my mouth and it was quite awkward as i cant really talk to my frd. They put poutine in the burger and it just made the burger so special and it doesn't taste so heavy!
W. R.
Great burgers. A new special burger every week!
R. D.
Atmosphere wasn't great, it was louder inside than it was on the street because the music was pumping so loud. Got a bacon cheeseburger on lettuce bun. Burger itself was just okay. Beef was juicy and tasty, near perfect. The bacon was hard and cold and unpleasant to eat, kind of ruined everything else. I suspect it was probably cooked and put to the side long before the beef patty was put on the grill. I appreciated that they offered a lettuce bun. It was a bit overpriced for what I ended up getting, but I probably would give these guys another go, because I do feel like with a bit of tweaking they will have a really great selection of burgers on offer.
C. T.
The burger is the best i ever had.
G.
After seeing all the great reviews I had to visit and try this weeks special The Flame Chicanada. Burger was a bit smaller than I was expecting but it did not disappoint. Great balance of spice and sauce, with the chicken and bacon on point as always. I was very close to ordering another, I probably would have if I didn’t order fries.
The only thing missing from BL is shakes. If they introduced a few I could come more often with Red.
K. F.
Burger was just O.K. Bacon was burnt to a crisp, but overall a good taste. Staff are friendly and communicate very well. Would go another round- no problem.
B. D.
As much as I’d like to rate lower, I cannot. I recommend checking out the original Bar Luca venue in the CBD for a slightly better meal, but you can still leave here extremely happy. Keen to try out their other locations too. Keep an eye on their weekly specials, but otherwise it’s hard to go past the Blame Canada. One of the best burgers in the world. The service was a little off the night I recently visited, but that all washed away once I was eating my burger. Yum!
A. A.
A very popular burger place on Oxford Street and their burgers are good. It is however a bit pricey and the burger are full of different flavours. It's just a bit overdone. Their hot chips are nice though. The seating is very limited with bench seating along the sides of the shop. Basically there's a lot of hype around this place and I don't think it's worth it!
T. B.
Never disappoints. Best (or my favourite) ingredients to build a burger. Delicious brioche, melty cheese that doesnt really congeal when it gets cold, perfectly made/cooked beef patties.
Definitely worth repeat visits
S. B.
Amazing Burgers! Try those seasoned fries as well!
Q.
By far, my favourite burger joint. Chips have some herbs with the salt, overthrows maccas fries. Their bacon strips in the burgers are just nicely crunchy. Blame Canada has some serious game because of the flavours, it's sweet in some ways but the savoury aspect of it fits very well. They just changed their menu so it'll be interesting as to what the other burgers taste like too. I hope they get more shops out and about since there's only Parramatta and Darling Hurst.
M. M.
The burger that wouldn't stop! It felt like I was eating this burger forever. Every bite was amazing. Recommend.
L. B.
Put simply, the best burger in Sydney. But it's more then that isn't it. The whole experience of a BL Burger is the standard of a good burger in Sydney. And nothing is better then the Blame Canada, the Maple Bacon, the Poutine, the delicious beef patty and of course if your feeling adventurous, the deep fried Mozzarella paddy changes your life. I will be a regular!
T. A.
Really lives up to the hype. If you're looking for ridiculously decadent burgers this is the place for you.
C. W.
Blame Canada is one of the best burgers I have had in my life. This is a small narrow shop where the kitchen is upstairs and the burgers come down on a meat chute. Plus they have Dr Pepper. Can't beat it. This will be a must go to place every time I am in Sydney.
H. Y.
BL Burger mantains the great taste for their burgers consistenly on every branches, even here!
The Blame Canada still my 10/10 burger by far.
The place is nice and cosy, the service is great, too!
The only downside is that they don't any washroom.
H. W.
Expect a long wait (waited for 25 mins for two burgers with no other customers in line), burgers are expensive and pretty average. Classic cheese burger was drenched in sauce and it tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. Good after a night of drinking if nothing else is open.
J. H.
Burgers are delicious! And that's the most important thing. Cool interior with nice street-art inspired designs on the walls. Interesting way food is brought out - your order slides down a rail. Most people take their food home/onto the street. Some decide to brave the blasting music and sit at the benches asking the walls. Service could definitely be improved. Some staff can be a little haughty. Also, calling out names/numbers while there's lot music (and most patrons are a little sloshed) is not the most efficient method. Seen a few orders get mixed up (luckily never mine). Recommended if you're really craving a good burger (and chips).
F. B.
Awesome burgers and super friendly staff! Food came out really quickly and was more delicious than we were expecting! Only reason for not having 5 stars is cause there is no bathroom onsite (Feel like if we're paying restaurant prices like their other place, then there should be the same facilities) would definitely come back again!
M. D.
BL Burger is that type a shop you pass by without knowing - but you give a shot, attracting by the loud music and painting on the walls. The first bite, it's already too late - burgers are tasty as freak, highly recommend the T-RUFFLE - heaven! Chips also freaking delish. A place to go, and go again, and go again without ever being disappointed! (Just had my third burger in 10 days....)
To ban from your list if you are on diet though :D
Z. W.
BL do the most amazing burgers, it’s one of my favourite places to go. They have great burger specials of the week, make sure you follow their Instagram, I get hungry just thinking about it! Great prices as well, you can also order from Uber eats if you’re feeling lazy. They could improve the decor as it’s not a great atmosphere inside.
M. M.
The burger was good, albiet a little small. Had a good drink selection
T. D. T.
Most innovative burger place ever. Brilliant!
A. S.
I genuinely wish I could rate this place six stars out of five. The Blame Canada burger is, hands down, the greatest burger I've ever eaten. I don't mean it was a good burger, I mean it is BY FAR THE BEST BURGER I'VE EVER EATEN. It's honestly life-changing.
B.
Have to say the Blame Canada burger is one very nice burger. Thought it was going to be too sweet with all the maple but it is surprisingly well balanced.
Well made, held together very well and is highly recommended.
The maple aioli is a very nice addition and matches the maple bacon very well.
V. R.
Small burger shop that is well organized and has friendly, competent staff. The burger range has the classics plus the "Blame Canada" and a weekly special. Blame Canada is essentially a classic beef burger with maple bacon and poutine, it's my go to burger here unless the weekly special entices.
j. h.
I order the “Trump Tower”. It is really massive, double beef patties, double American cheese, double crispy bacon, double hash brown, with some house made sauce. When I finished the burger, I felt so full. Btw, the milk bun is quite nice, soft and tasty. *Every week will change the special menu, if you are interesting, you can check on their instagram.
Z. N.
Some of the best burgers you will find in Sydney. Very difficult to get a seat due to popularly, and a bit pricey as chips cost extra. Music is blasting so loud you can't hear anything else, which is unpleasant.
S. R.
This place is AMAZING. If the owner opened a BL burger in Bondi Beach it would literally make a killing. (The only competition in the area is the stuffed beaver and milky lane - both of which are terrible and don’t even compare to this place.) Considering the crazy amount of Canadians/Americans in the area along with a ton of others looking for a bomb burger joint I really hope the owner considers it one day!
A. W.
Burgers are up there with the best in Sydney, the first time I had a Blame Canada still lingers in the memory banks ... ridiculous; perfect combo of sweet, salty & a great patty. The recent Flame Canada variation (add chilli & jalapeños & other hotness) was somehow even better ...
Bad Points: not particularly fast service, my GP has found a strong correlation (upwards) between cholesterol readings & time BL has been open
C. H. (.
Nice burgers and cool slide to serve the burgers. Very interesting seating with benches lining the walls. Good for small groups of 2-3. Quite awkward if you have a larger group.
O. B.
Where do I start? A new burger joint on oxford street, burgers are great nice and juicy always cooked to just right. It has a good vibe and a great atmosphere, the staff are cool and always smiling. Make sure you try the maple aioli, its just epic, matches the maple bacon very well!
A.
Kitchen staff here always do a great job. Front of house staff have been consistently awful for as long as i've been eating here. It's odd considering the regularly high standard i'm used to seeing across the BL brand.
N. K.
Got the fried chicken sandwich. It was over cooked, slathered in way too much mayo, and really just wasn't that good. Best part was the fries. At least the service was good, we had a group of 8 ordering and they got everyone's order right but it just wasn't that great.
F.
First time is always the best, Blame Canada is absolutely a must-try in Sydney.
A.
Best burger I've eat in my life 😍😍 fries are also amazing!!
K. K.
UNBELIEVABLE Burgers best burgers in Sydney BLAME CANADA is the bees nees. Must try for all burger lovers.
Y.
A nondescript burger bar that serves up some solid burgers with tasty well seasoned fries. Go for the Blame Canada and be rewarded with oh so delicious maple glazed bacon that goes well with their juicy patties
H. O.
Average setup, delicious burgers and fast service
K. M.
Yaaaaassssss! Great burger joint! I had me a Blame Canada and damn was it good!! It's definitely worth a trip if you're not from the area, if you are from the area good luck keeping the weight off you!
J. A.
Had the classic cheese while the missus ordered the special, a cheeseburger chimichanga. The classic was mediocre, with too much bun and a thin, insignificant patty. Whole thing was dry and I struggled to finish it. The chimichanga was better, and the thinner fried tortilla wrap gave each bite a tastier mouthful of meat. Disappointing compared to some other options in the city.
S. P.
I've you haven't tried the classic "Blame Canada", have you even lived yet?
T. T.
Happy to pay the price for a late night burger. Always hit this place after a girls night out on Oxford street. BEST solution to wake up without a hangover, and you don't feel guilty at 11:30 at night. LOL #burgerthighs
R.
Original take on burger flavour combos has led to the creation of some of the best burgers in Australia, perhaps even the world. Excellent food on a night out or for lunch with friends
I. J.
Absolutely the best burger I’ve had in Sydney. Great burgers with a chill environment and very nice staff. I was so suprised by the quality of the food and the overall experience. Exicted to go again.
J. T.
One of the best burger places in Sydney. Give the Blame Canada burger a go. Juicy wagyu beef party, with maple bacon and poutine...oh so juicy and delicious. The special burger of the week was the Rye Hard, kinda of like a reuben burger, with pastrami and wagyu beef. The shoestrings fries with aioli are worth the calories too..full of herby goodness.
Definitely worth heading out there to try a burger. Great place for a late night burger. They are open until 1am on the weekend.
M. B.
The Blame Canada burger is amazing, with real cheese curds which is rare to find. The fries are tasty. I don't what spices they put on the fries but they are like crack
S. H.
I actually do delivery most od the time in this restraunt. It is the most famous and most demanding on uber eats. I would actually recommend this especially their fries are also super awsome. I love their fries and burgers are also goosd. Best time to visit is after weekend when ypu get out of bars. Cheers guys enjoy. Just love this place sinple love it. Simply si ple live it
N. B.
Brilliant hole in the wall style burger joint with absolutely delicious burgers and well seasoned fries. The special burger board is indeed a very special burger
L. v. N.
These burgers used to be 5 stars, but of late their quality has dropped. They're still a great burger, but not as good as when they first opened and have been in the past.
G. K.
Not your average burgers, for sure. Soooo good! Make sure you check out the board at the entrance for the loaded fries of the day. They're a meal to themselves.
Z. F.
The chicken burger was nice and not too oily. The tomato sauce on it was homemade
P. P.
Love the blame Canada burger, 1 of my favourites
D. S.
Great burger, chips had a bit too much salt for my liking but other than that was really good.
S. O.
Insanely good food that isn't for the faint of heart. So far we've had the Blame Canada, the Wagyu burger, the Fried Chicken (karaage) and fries. All was spectacular, but the pieces that stick out are the Blame Canada and the Chicken. The BC is rich and juicy, and the chicken tastes very much like Japanese karaage (which is what they claim, dead on). Small, no frills, but assuming you don't eat there all the time, very worthy of the health drawbacks.
A. S.
Goshhh.. My go to burg has always been the (double patty) bronx or manhattan @five points, nth syd.
Happened to be in oxford st @lunchtime and decided to find out if the much lauded bar luca 'blame canada' burg is as good as what peeps are saying. Stuffing fries between buns isnt something new. The maple bacon n maple aoili, i thought would blanket my tastebuds in sweetness but they simply work to many oomph aaahh between bites. Buns held till the end though it does get a wee messy. Patty was a nice medium the way i like it. I will double up on my next visit 😜!
F. H.
Great vibe. Phenomenal menu. Not for those who like their burgers bite-sized. It might be garbage in terms of nutritional value but it might be the most delicious garbage you've ever tasted.
s. c.
Had an amazing veggie burger here, best I've had for agessss. Will be back for another sometime! Food was quick and delicious.
D. F.
Probably the best burger you can get in the city.
Blame Canada is a definite favourite for me
A. N.
Highly recommend this place, try the burger with poutine.
C. H.
Great burger, ok chips, horrendous and loud music. Unless you're a uni student going through some emotional issues seeking solace in death metal you can probably find an equally good burger in other places.
D. W.
Service was great, with sensational food! Highly recommended as I'll never have a burger this great until I return to Sydney. 😅
D. H.
Really cool vibe with awesome burger selections (vegan and gluten free options.) sweet potato fries were meh. Wait was a little k9ng but hopefully that's because they are grilling to order.
J. B. T. S.
Just delicious! From the fries to the burger and aioli choices! If I lived in the city, I’d go a lot!
s. t.
BL BURGER IS THE BEST BURGER IN SYDNEY.burger size is huge and enough for 1 person.
M. P.
Disappointing. Staff has an attitude like they hate being there and the burgers were just average.
A. K.
Actually one of the best places in sydney to get a burger. Well worth the money. The one in the city is open till 1 am which is nice if you're hungry mid pubcrawl
A.
Burgers are always great. My go-to burger place in Sydney. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Find the burgers better than Bar Luca
O. H.
Great food, the the "blame canada" was juicy with the right amount of sweet and the shoestring fries had a nice touch covered in herbs. The place is a little Spartan so not a place to eat with a group of more than 3.
A. c.
I highly recommend this place if you are a burger eater ! Small but comfy snack/restaurant, with a nice particular taste for art
P. B.
Great burgers! Love the lamb riblets on the menu too...check out the weekly specials if you want to mix up the variety
S. C.
Best burgers in Sydney :) T-Ruffle is where it's at
P. D.
Excellent burgers - strongly recommend their cheeseburger + bacon and a poutine. Food is always fresh and delicious!
V. C.
Not the cheapest, but definitely one of the best burgers
P. C.
Best burgers in Sydney
A. T.
Love these burgers, great if you can walk there or get delivery, otherwise it's a pain to get to. Good variety and service
J. W.
Mind blowing burgers, these things are on another level (but yes, there will be mess). The guys who run it are also super friendly. Highly recommend the Blame Canada burger.
A. P.
Awesome burgers, the beef patty (which is the most important element in a burger) is spot on. One of my fav burgers in Sydney
g.
Easily my favourite burgers in Sydney which I've had so far. All of them are very tasty.
O. S.
One of the best burgers I've ever had! Very delicious. I had the blame Canada burger
J. C.
Best burger I have ever had
N. S.
It's the end as we know it, patties will now have to be cooked throughout. And we all know to Blame Canada, oh and the Nanny state.
Still, bar Luca is amazing.
C. M.
Burger was awesome but the chips had waaaaay too much salt. Did the top fall off the salt shaker?...
A. S.
Great burgers! Meat is well cooked. Loved the prefect blend of sauces and coriander. :-)
J. S.
Good flavours but it boggles my mind how they can be so busy, forced to pump the burgers out yet still not come out hot.
J. T.
New burger joint on Oxford street. Hipsterish, odd location and set up inside. No aircon and felt like a sauna. Surprisingly great burger though!
T. B.
Great burgers, mid-high priced, can't go past the blame Canada, but also they have one off creative weekly burgers
O. W.
Great tasting burgers and really cool atmosphere for such a small burger bar. Menu was great and simple which was easy to understand.
M. L.
Still my favourite burger joint town. Every burger on the menu is worth the cholesterol. I am yet to be disappointed in this place.
J. W.
Best burger ever, but super long waiting. Took like 20 min if you go without booking.
J. N.
BL bacon is amazing. Their burgers are great too
J. B.
Girlfriend got yelled at by a junkie outside, claimed she would "send her (my girlfriend) to the ER tonight". Good burgers.
S. B.
Blame Canada! Amazing burgers.
J. F.
Burgers are awesome. Was unsure about getting the maple sauce but it was delicious 👌🏼
Y. W.
I don't make a lot of reviews but the chicken burger I had there was just that good, I had to.
m. a.
Had the Blame Canada burger last night recommended by one of the staff and it was amazing! Even my boyfriend who hated burger loved it!
M. Q.
What a great burger soft bun and juicy meat so good u must try this place one of the best burgers I have ever had serious!!!!!
G. G.
Due to Bar Luca's burgers popularity in the CBD they opened up this burger joint that give you one of the bests if not the bests burgers in the city, they have weekly burgers that are the most original burgers I've tried so far.
j. “. R.
Grate burger a bit too fatty but if you are high or drunk or hungry yeah is a good go!
J. M.
Blame Canada & The Karaage burgers are a must. Very unique flavours. A must try for any burger connoisseur.
A. S.
Great Burgers and Fun staff. Always have fun chats about random stuff, entertainment while waiting for my food :)

C. B.
Good burger. Had the Blame Canada. Lots of flavour and patty was cooked perfectly
S. G.
Really great burgers. Like awesome. Sweet potato fries a bit of a let down though.
W. R.
Delicious burgers.
I went for all the advertisement around Blame Canada burger, and did not regret.
K. M.
Not super-cheap ($13-16) but definitely some of the best burgers in Sydney.
N. M.
Delicious burgers and great service. What more could you ask for? The Blame Canada is an absolute stand out.
l. b.
Food was on point as always, however just writing in because the guy who always seems to serve me is incredibly rude & just generally lacking customer service skills.
M. B.
Amazing burgers!! Well on the goopey side but still super delicious!!
V. L.
Maple frame is amazing but it has a strong taste making me stop eating on the halfway... Chips are not satisfying.
n.
Nice burger, although quite expensive. Staff didn't advise about the charge when paying by card (and there was no sign about extra charge for card payments) which I found quite bad.
D. J.
Blame England was the special and oh boy, was it. Absolutely bang on. Had the Blame Canada a week or 2 ago and that was really something else as well.
N.
The chickpea burger isn't as good as it used to be. Patty was too thick, and wasn't crispy. Probably won't come back again.
S. S.
Super unhealthy amazing burgers with great taste. Blame Canada is my fav
J.
Bit of a wait during the dinner rush but the wait was absolutely worth it! Burgers are simply beautiful.
F. J.
By far the best burger place in the area. You have to try the Blame Canada !
J. B.
Blame Canada is probably one of the best burgers of the entire world
J. G.
Legit best burger I’ve ever had. Great vibes too!
W. W.
Small, out of the way and worth it. It's hard to find but the entrance is off of Martin Place, down a few stairs and your there. It's very popular with the locals and they serve wine, beer and cider.
N. T.
Mac Daddy was awesome! If you want the 5 Star experience I would recommend the original Bar Luca on Phillip St. Thanks guys!
D. H.

W. !.
I love their crazy specials! Burgers here are of excellent quality and taste
R. J.
Great burgers, always something different on the specials board, or just something fancy from the menu.
A. N.
The food was great, but it took around half an hour even though it was not busy, so be ready for the delay if you're going there.
E. M.
Great burger spot, worth checking out both beef and chicken burgers.
D. J.
OK burgers, definitely not more than that.
Too pricey for what you get.
No restroom for guests.
P. E.
Nice burgers. Quick service.
Can be a bit busy and lack of seats. Credit card surcharge applies.
G. R.
Kind people and great burgers at the right price! The place to go after a long day walking around or before an intense night!
R. S.
Being going for 4-5 years and still the best burgers I've ever had!!

S. a.
My favourite burger place in Sydney..
The classic cheese and chicken karaage burger are superb
V. H.
Solid vegetarian burger. No vegan options à la carte (even fries come with aioli).
R. B.
Nice ambience - slightly noisy being on oxford st, but once inside it isn't very noticeable.
Solid menu, weekly special is always spot-on
M. M.
Great food, burgers on the more soggy and harder to hold side. 1 star minus for the food on the more pricey side
