This is a fantastic place to grab a burger to enjoy there or at the beach. The burgers and chips are amazing and the have lovely staff. They also have a good drinks menu and a wide variety of burgers. I can't wait to have a burger from here again!

Can’t say a bad thing about this joint! Local owner Tony is a legend! Make sure you try the bloody Mary’s, best in Bondi! They use local ingredients and home juiced pickles! Just wow! Chicken wings are a must! To be honest any of the buyers on the menu as well! Obsessed! Tony always takes the time to meet and talk with everyone!

Best Burgers in Sydney. The review could end here. But this place has become so much more than a burger joint for us that I feel like I should say a few more words. BondiTony is an institution in Bondi. It’s a tradition, it’s a gathering point. We come here every other week and we never get tired of it. Their burgers are the most delicious and juiciest ever. I could have them everyday. The place looks like it came straight out of the 80s and it has a unique vibe. Keep it up BT team 🍔🚀

I am not big fan of burgers, sometimes I got them, and that is end of my relationship with that kind of meal. I’ve been brought here by friend, and this is first time ever that taste of burger will be something I will remember 💘 My burger was absolutely delicious (BORDY), service was great, and entire experience was outstanding. Barbecue HOT SMOKY sauce on the table was such a great ADD. Will be back! There was little issue with splitting bill at the end, (I think that girl wants us to definitely make sure to have spare change and tip her or something), but I forced her to split the bill for three (cause we have three burgers), but entire experience was great any ways ;)

Best burgers in Bondi, actually no, best burgers in SYDNEY! The meat used is from local butcher Field to Fork which have amazing meats. Tony the owner is such a cool and generous guy, occasionally throws an extra patty in your burger without an extra charge or request. I've been coming here for years and I can say this is one of the rare places that don't drop in quality or service over time.

Consistently great burgers and atmosphere! It can get busy and time for takeout can be the same as waiting for a table. Plan accordingly! Worth the wait though- my favourite is the Lost Valentino fish burg. The fish is always super crispy and a generous portion & the pickled fennel makes it! Is is coming from someone who wouldn't usually care for fennel at all! All burgs come with crispy, crunchy fries & take advantage of the Carolina bbq sauce!

Cute little place with premium burger selections. Pattie is really juicy on the inside and a little bit messy to eat yet it is very good, like all-stars good. I tried all the beef burgers and they were all very good. You can also add extra stuff inside your burgers. I really liked the extra guac and it was also very fresh and delicious. Not bad. But given other reviews, I was expecting amazing. The service was OK the slow side. The fish burger was good - really interesting with lots of fennel. The chicken burger was bland. The salted caramel thick shake was very much not thick, just a milkshake. It had a lot of syrup which made it very very sweet. The sweet potato fries were a little soggy, they tasted okay but were limp. The burger size is HUGE, which meant that we were very full after eating and didn't eat all of the fries. They could be half the size and still be am enjoyable meal. The comment on the roof made It. Poo is ace.

Before I start definitely the best burger I have ever had, staff were so incredibly friendly and inviting, it made it feel like they were at home just being themselves, burger came with chips and they were awesome as well, the atmosphere was definitely the thing you noticed first, cozy yet inviting with a musical twist, price was a tad on the expensive side but that’s what you have to pay for the best burger that I’ve personally ever eaten, if I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would, BEST BURGERS EVER

Visited Bonditony when it dining in was not allowed due to covid19. We came here because it’s highly rated on Google and the ratings don’t lie! To be honest i’m not a burger person and am extremely picky when it comes to burgers. Ordered the #Bordy burger for takeaway at $17.99, the burger comes with a generous side of fries or swap to salad & slaw if you prefer. I love how the bun is soft yet crispy at the base & the meat’s thick & juicy. I’d definitely love to come back to experience dining in when all this is over 👍

Really awesome burgers with lovely atmosphere. We ordered Tripping Zeahorse naked (without bread) and Just A Jezebel (chicken). The beef was moist and juicy, the chicken was juicy. It’s not along the Bondi road stretch, but surely worth the short walk. Such a hidden gem!! Highly recommend.

There is a reason why Bonditony’s is at the top of their burger game—delicious, well-executed burgers at reasonable prices and generous portions. I am not kidding when I say they were massive. I had to deconstruct mine as I could not take a full bite out of it. We had the chicken and fish options with a side of truffle aioli. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, each meat portion came fresh from the fryer. Chips were creamy and tender, just the way I like it! Would have finished all if I weren’t so full. Buns were well buttered and toasted yum! What gave a nice touch was a swab of guac on my chicken burger and a refreshing cucumber and spinach salad with dill aioli sauce on my sister’s fish burger. Also giving a shout out to the sweetest resident doggie, Ketchup, who was very into playing fetch. While waiting for my order to come, I threw almost 50 random twigs he picked up for me and only stopped because my arm was sore. I was duly warned that he could snatch up my food if I wasn’t looking haha! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

This is what typifies a burger joint!!! Tasty as burgers, sauces for dayssss and sweet rock themed ambience which brings killer vibes. Zeahorse burger is so good as is, no extras. Jezabel burger chicken with jalepenos were solid. Chips have a good amount of crunch. Aioli with mustard is such a great idea. Why didn't I think of that?!?! Highly highly recommend the hot and smoky bbq sauce from lillies on the bench. I could drink that stuff from a fountain. There's also a sneaky veggie burger

Plenty of amazing burgers in Sydney but nothing beats the vibe of this place, a must whenever I head east, just love the set up, the decor inside and Young Henrys on tap, can't beat it. Cheers to Bonditony for the burger and beer, legend of a guy, this burger was as amazing as it always is, beef just mouth watering with the melt in your mouth texture. Cheese perfectly melted on top, love the bbq chutney and relish, both smokey and sweet. Tony introduced me to Old Bones Chilli Sauce their extra hot smoked garlic chilli sauce is one of the best I have had, they are local too and are around the eastern suburbs and inner west, check them out, added this to the burger and it just brought it up another level, awesome product and even better price!

Great burger venue with a cool vibe. We ordered the Just a Jezabel (chicken burger) and Trippin Zeahorse (beef burger) all with sweet potato fries and aioli, both up there with the best of the best burgers - but the chicken burger was the winner! There was 6 of us at a fairly busy point of the night, but food was out reasonably quick and the staff were very friendly even though the two of them were flat out. Definitely a must check out burger joint!

100% RECOMMENDED!!!! I decided to bring my family here for lunch because of the good reviews on internet, and I'm glad I did!!! The burgers were so goooooooooood! And their french fries is so perfectly crisp! The serving is big and will definitely leave you satisfied! For my kids, we ordered Ninja chicken strips and they loved it too! The ambiance is cool & the lady who served us was super friendly. She was attentive and offered any help she could during our stay. Please visit this awesome resto when you are in Bondi beach!! And oh, we were lucky to spot their cute dog mascot named Ketchup while we were there! :)

Lovely staff and seriously phenomenal burgers and fries! Really cool atmosphere inside and outside! One thing that might not be a big deal but I still appreciate is their Salt Shakers. There is actually something coming out of it when you use it not like in so many other places where my fitbit thinks I'm mastrubating when I just want a tiny seasoning on my fries! Only thing that wasn't perfect is the paper they put on the bottom of the baskets they serve the food in. It gets pretty soggy and rips and so you might get a piece of paper with your fork of fries of you don't watch out.

I don’t know why, no explanation given, I could have gone to the shops and made it myself faster - the meat was undercooked! How is it possible after 30mins of cooking! This burger joint is legendary! Tony is a classy man and his staff give the best customer service in bondi. It’s as if you’re eating your burger in bondi Tony’s cubbie house. He has placed cute photos every where and placed candles in red jars to create a good vibe. He supports the community and deserves credit for that. For a long time I thought it was pronounced “bondit-onies” but I was corrected by the man himself before he took a shot of vodka with me and the rest of my party. 🤘🍔🤟 He is a burger artist.

If you're reading this review, you're deciding whether to come here. GO, GO NOW, you're decision is made! Firstly, kudos to these guys for replying to the reviews, a small thing that shows they care about their place and their customers. Small place, big burgers, best experience! There is a really cool rock vibe to the place, and alot of character. Firstly, the service. The service was great, making sure we had water and our dining experience was comfortable was some very nice girls. The burger I had came with REAL whole lettuce leaves, so much better than that shredded stuff. The beef patty was cooked to perfection, a nice grilled texture on the outside, whilst being deliciously juicy on the inside. The sauce, of which I don't remember, was also very tasty Even the fries were done well! I tried both fries. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and crispy outside, and medium softness on the inside. Overall a fantastic place to have my weekly cheat meal and enjoy a night out with my friend. Thanks Bonditony's :)

Cracker burgers and an even better owner! Had lunch with a few friends, and sat outside in the sun with Ketchup (Tony’s border collie). Absolutely an amazing little place, with delicious burgers. Small menus but something for everyone. Loved the burger, absolutely worth it. And the truffle aioli was simply the highlight, combined the crispy chips! It might seem a bit pricy at first, but when the Chrissy fries are included does it weigh up for it! Beer selection was good. Price was reasonable. Good sauce selection. The buns were good. But the burgers were ordinary. We had a fish burger and a beef burger (the one with bacon) and weren't too impressed. The fish didn't taste fresh. And I don't understand why the waitresses couldn't give us one of the many free tables when we got there..we had to wait for the busy Tony to arrange seats for us.. didn't feel very nice.

I've been coming here for years, and it still doesn't disappoint. Although I wish I could travel back in time and take my first bite of a Trippin' Zeahorse again... Almost always a perfect burger, sometimes not quite as good as other times but generally very good. I think that's probably a bit unfair though as I've probably had about 200 burgers here. I was thinking of leaving a negative review since Tony's so responsive I might get a free burger out of it! But really there's nothing negative to say. Hope you never change guys, keep on truckin.

Would have given 4.5 instead of 5 if possible but because while I loved their burgers... personally I would love to have a ‘grilled’ fish or chicken option rather than battered and crumbed, just prefer the taste of less oil, fresher and healthier... but still great burgers!!! Had the chicken burger and it was really bloody good despite my comment. Not oily tasting then sweet potato fries were yummo, and great condiments including truffle aioli, actually ‘good’, not sugary smokey bbq and proper malt vinegar. Awesome tunes and great service. Super good vibe! Best burger joint in Bondi easily. New local burger spot especially if they’d do a ‘fresh’ burger, i.e. grilled fish/chicken no cheese 🤤

Bring your appetite. Incredible burgers. And if it adds more credibility to the review... I'm American. I'm 6'4" tall 235 lbs (or nearly two meters tall and 106 kilos for you Aussies). We happened to find this restaurant by accident and we're glad we did. My wife, her mother, and my two daughters ate our fill and loved every bite. My girls devoured their milk shakes. Even my oldest, who is a picky eater (Dairy free, gluten free, yada yada) could enjoy a shake (they have vegetarian alternatives). The service was quick and friendly. We'd all go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Just got there watching at Google's reviews and they were right. Really nice place, with own style. Burgers with fresh 5 stars bun, crispy potatoes on the side and nice and tasty free sauces on the table, maybe just too watered for my taste, but I enjoyed them. If you are ready to queue a bit, you'll experience the best burger joint in Sydney (to my opinion). Not only the burgers are great but the staff is friendly and the ambiance and the crowd cool. Tony is friendly and welcoming - he offered my mate and I some shot for accepting to move table to give space to a big group. The only thing I'd regret is that the potato fries are not home made - but you can opt for the sweet potato one that are.

The burgers were great and we got there early so no issues with seating but it is limited and very tight to the point where people sitting in the cafe next door are pushing up against our chairs. Service was polite, but the food was oh so slow to come out and there was only 1 other small group there apart from us.

While we were sitting at Bonditony's Burger Joint, I began to wonder whether I was eating the best burger I ever had. Now, this is obviously not a statement to make lightly and I decided to let some time pass before making a final decision. Within 24 hours of eating at Bonditony's Burger Joint, I was convinced that I had, indeed, never before eaten a burger where every single component, from the bun to the meat, the cheese, and the chips, was spot on. Add to the that the fantastic beer, the extremely friendly, helpful and attentive staff, and the quirky, creative and relaxed setting and you have the perfect combination for a fantastic dinner. I cannot recommend the place enough. It really stands out amongst the large number of average restaurants in Bondi (many of them tourist traps) and is worth a visit. If they had been open on Jan, 1st, I'd have gone a second time during my visit to Sydney. If you're in Sydney/Bondi, don't miss out on the experience.

We can’t go past the chicken wings either though. Everything tastes amazing and the service is incredible. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
