BURGER. One of the best food inventions on this planet. It’s good for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or when you’re hangover from having way too many.
Burger, I certainly had way too many.
I had the Manhattan lunch special, and my burger and thick-cut chips were cooked well.
Burger was tasty and chips were crunchy.
However, it missed a bit of ‘magic’ that made me want to eat again.
For this reason I give this place 3 bears
A. D. F. J.I used to work in North Sydney and loved having a burger here. They are delicious, well made, and the customer service is excellent, with really friendly staff.
I eventually got quite fat because I came here a bit too often for lunch. It's probably for the better I don't work in N Sydney anymore, but I do miss those burgers and must get back some time.

Burgers were very average and on the dry side so I really don't know how they got into the list of best burgers in Sydney. The baby High chair was a little dirty with stains in the bucket so I had to take some time to clean it for my toddler.
First order of Chicken wrap was stuck to the wrapping paper so they changed it for me.
Not a bad place but not one that I'd plan to visit again given the abundance of restaurants serving up great burgers in Sydney.

J.I really wanted to love Five Points from the reviews, but I couldn’t give it more than a 4. Ordered a Bronx and chips. Friendly staff, and a good selection - the burger was huge but finger-dripping greasy. Chips were generous but not super crispy. It was a busy lunchtime so maybe just when I was there. Will give it another go.

S. B.It's a small store where they take burgers making pretty seriously. It's usually packed so it's best to get there early. The most famous burger is Bronx which is really good. I've also tried the one with chicken breast and I loved it. From the soft bun, to the juice meat and all the lovely sauces it was very satisfying. Well done!
A.Daily specials are great, favourites are the Brooklyn and Bronx burgers - really appreciate having hot sauce and mustard bottles on all the tables as well.

Arrived early and had to wait as they open at 1130. After going in quicky ordered

The burger was good served in a box like Mc D's , on par with the other places I tryed in Sydney this was my first stop in North Sydney $23 for double beef burger fries and a coke try it if in the area .

M.Sorry but I just did not rate this burger at all. First time here and been wanting to come for a long time based on the reviews. Ordered the Brooklyn based on the staff recommendation and wow what a disappointment. The patty was very pink. It was not medium rare which is what they say on the menu. It was rare. It was also tasteless. Maybe they forgot to season. I just found the whole thing bland. Only giving 3 stars cause the chips were great.

Music wasn't playing until right before I left, so wasn't a strong atmosphere as such, which I think is what brings it down from the 5th star, as well as the chips FEELING good in texture, but not having too much taste of seasoning (including salt). E.Great staff here, super friendly. During lunch time Five Points can get quite busy so get in early for a quick service. Burgers are good, lots of sauce and quite a thick meat patty. Loved the buns as these are also lightly grilled, will definitely back. Chips are also super tasty and crunchy.

I've noticed their burgers have become less oily since I started going and subsequently are more packed with flavour. They sell quintessential American style burgers with a brioche bun, American cheese and flavour for days. Must try.

I asked about my order and was told it was coming … 25 mins later
Eventually they gave me my order and it was wrong !
So what did they do ? They grabbed someone else’s burger that was sitting on counter and offered a drink for the inconvenience.

Chips are cooked to perfection and if you're feeling ravenous the shakes are pretty boss too. Can get pretty busy at lunchtimes on weekdays but worth the wait. Minimal dine in spots (maybe seats 20), with takeaway and delivery available.

Had to do some work here after lunch, very accommodating. highly recommend. will have to drop in and try other tasty burgers!

However, the flavor of the burgers was not what I was expecting from a place with American sounding burger names - it was missing the deep, meaty flavor I expect from it. Good amount of lettuce and pickle. Cheese is melted on top of the burger and the sauce is nice.
If the restaurant gets busy they also serve their burgers in the foyer of the building next door, where it is easier to get a seat.
There are also bunch of open air tables just down the road
M. D.Damn the burgers even taste good when you order them off ubereats. That's saying something. Keeps all the flavour well, even when not immediately served. Chips were a different story, still tasted good - but, as you would expect delivered chips. All that said, I'm there for the burgers so a 5 from me.

Big call but if you love a beautifully cooked, great quality burger then this is the place to try. They have a small selection of reasonably simple burgers (a couple of beef, a chicken and a vegetarian option) but they absolutely nail each one.
It's a lunch place, which always has a massive line between 12 and 1:30. But don't get discouraged, they are so efficient without any loss of quality. You'll have your burger within 15 minutes.
D. P.If you’re in North Sydney and you’re stinging for a burger, then you should be heading here. There’s a few other burger joints around North Sydney, but they’re basically oversized McD’s and don’t have much going for them.
While you’re having a burger here, make sure to grab a bunch of fries too. They’re a perfect texture, a nice bit of crunch but still have that soft, potatoey goodness to them!

u.Really one of the best burgers in Sydney, I can’t wait to try the other burgers. The Bronx burger is a classic perfectly executed with flair and the chips were light crispy little pockets of comforting mash. They will open for dinner soon. Expect this place to be packed for the months to come.

When I mentioned it, they instantly knew what she couldn't eat on her burger and that the meat needed to be well done, and marked a P on her order to make sure the kitchen guys took extra care. Burgers here are awesome. Super happy this place is near my new office.
P. G.4.5 stars? Really??? Was my first thought when i walked out. I was looking forward to trying their burgers but left feeling a bit underwhelmed. All the basic stuff was there...clean, friendly staff, fresh food, good flavour but it's not something I will specifically drive out for next time! Worth a try if you're in the area but a bit over-rated in my opinion!

D. F.Quite a decent burger place. I've only been there twice, but both times it was very good. The meat is super juicy, and the cheese is tasty. It gets pretty busy, so if you're wanting a quick meal, go there outside of peak hour. Could have better options for drinks, such as a beer.

Last couple of times I had burgers and each one of them was below the quality I had the first two times! I even got burnt beef patties once. Something has changed.
I am reducing the rating and will again review after few more visits.

Reduce the salt and that would be great batch of fries!

R. M.Five Points is a newish addition to the North Sydney food scene. I finally got a chance to check it out with a mate and it's a nice place with fast service but I wasn't blown away by the burger.
We both had the Bronx and the meat patty was excellent but the bacon unfortunately was overcooked which made the burger a bit too salty. Burger sauce again really good. Overall 4 out of 5 for the burger and shake. The fries on the other hand were worse than McDonalds - totally over salted unfortunately - could have been an one off.
Overall check the place out if you're in the area but I wouldn't make a trip out just for this place.

N. R.Tastes good but they’re more like a level just above your base grilled takeaway burgers. Only 5 options available with basic sides and the beef ones are quite similar. I still recommend it, what they do they do well. But if you are looking for that juicy American style burger I would rate Hayberry way above this. That’s what we were looking for and heard good things, but it was a bit of a let down in that regard.
P. S.Went there around lunchtime, so the place was packed with office people. They canged the queue so you can do your order in one line. Placed my order of the Bronx Burger with Chips and waited. After about 5 minutes I had a delicious dish before me.
In my opinion the place is a great eat, worth checking out if you're in the area or looking for a well priced and made burger.

Jumped online at five minutes to closing, couldn't find a phone number, Facebook Messaged them "Too late to order?" Snap! Instant reply "If you're here in the next 4 minutes all good 😊". Replied "I'm 3 minutes drive away. How about a cheeseburger and fries when I get there?" Instant reply again... "No online ordering as too busy and we're never online during shifts . I'll make an exception this time. Cheeseburger and fries to go it is".
Stepped inside right on 9pm to be greeted by Johnny the Irish dude with a great attitude and service ethic. I'm hooked. The burger and fries were outstanding, by the way.

No confusion over multiple combinations of condiments. 4 kinds of burgers all winners. chips are pretty good too. Not enough seating and long queues at peak times but the burgers are worth the wait.

Patties are quite nice, and the Bronx has bacon - that's worth an extra star right? - buns a bit Macca-ish, ie quite sweet and stodgy. This burger joint is quite popular during the weekday lunch rush but usually quiet for dinner. There isn't a lot of seating but you can take your burger across the road to the park.

Who eats dinner at 5:30, no one but usually the restaurant is at least f****** ***** ** open. You ruined my family and insulted my great honourable grandmother who was discovered deceased at the care home the following day (no coincidence there) therefore there is no opportunity left to unite as a family. However I hear the burgers are good though so good on you chaps.
