Great place to stop over for lunch or dinner. Our meals were big portions and tasted good for a pub meal.

Loved it. Had dinner with friends here for the first time ever and the meals were awesome. Well priced, food was plentiful and tasted great. Friendly staff and the bistro was clean and tidy. Staff were happy to offer a takeaway dish for what we could eat. Definitely recommend HOTEL DUNEDOO for a great meal.

Working here for 3 months, been one of the 3 available options it offers excellent value for money, however it can be a bit hit in miss in terms of quality, 1/8 times something was off with the meals. However overall, the parmi, beef burgers, ribs, and steaks are all highly recommend. Meal sizes are LARGE, even if your 20 with a booming metabolism.

Great feed out back we had the roast pork but get the gravy separately as they can be heavy handed, kitchen staff was friendly and happy. One of the bar staff was zombie like and emotionless but other than that you should stop in and have roast lunch while on your travels.

I don't need much to give a hotel 5 stars. A warm room and a comfortable bed...I paid extra for a room with a TV so I could watch the footy. There were things I did not like, but they were attended to, (that bright flashing sign outside my room was turned off). The shower was hot and I had a good night's sleep. The food was good. The staff and patrons were friendly. Can't ask for more.

Good country pub with mix of locals and travellers. Large range of foods. Does takeout, which is good because I watched several groups ask for containers to take home their excess. Meals tend to be not just large but bordering on huge. Prices are OK. An entertaining spot. This is an iconic authentic Aussie pub and well worth a visit.

Stayed here a few nights, staff were really lovely. The room was average for a pub room, bordering on unclean, shower was good. Food was good. The publican was really rude, to staff and to patrons. Would not stay again because of him.

Bistro was pumping on Saturday night. So the only seat was a reserved table for 6 but the people overheard and said, “Why not join us? We booked for 6 but there’s only 4 of us.” What followed was a delightful evening at Hotel Dunedoo with 2 MASSIVE chicken parmas, a puppeteer, a country singer, an Olympic Gold medalist, an HM secret service agent, a Scot from St Andrew’s and “a simple farmer” from a long line of Dunedoo Yoes. Can’t guarantee a repeat performance when you drop in for a feed at the HD - but we had ourselves an unforgettable evening! (And the parmas were EPIC!)

We stayed as a couple and 2 singles. The couples room was okay (with a decent bed and ensuite) but the room with 2 single beds was well below average ie. really disappointing. The facilities appeared worn and tired. The location was noisy which was very unexpected. Lots of truck noise with rooms facing the street.

Friendly locals and staff! Great prices and great serving sizes. Food uncomplicated. Our boys rated the chicken nuggets the second best they've ever had. Lots of fresh salad and we really enjoyed the veggie side. If you enjoy chilli spice, they have all types of heat here to add to your meal.

This Hotel has lots of character & our family was looking forward to spending some time there. However we were there at lunch time & the bistro was closed. The only food the hotel had to offer was a bag of potato chips!

What a great pub. Friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. We were visiting from Perth and just happened to drop in and were happy we did. We had a great night meeting the locals over a few drinks and were made to feel very welcome. Their happy hour is from 5.30pm until 6.30pm and you save a dollar on tap beer schooners during this time. There is even accommodation and nice rooms upstairs are only around $50 per night which is very reasonable. There is a nice warm wood fire in the restaurant area and the meals are huge and good value. We had the chicken parmy which was only $22 and so big it was a struggle to eat it all and it was very tasty too. There is a gas heater in the front bar next to the TAB area where you can place your bets or just sit in the bar enjoying the atmosphere. The pool table is in the covered beer garden at the rear of the hotel and games of 8 ball are $3 each. So ignore the strange name, pronounced DunnyDo and make sure you check out this great Aussie landmark.

We were at this place early April traveling through and decided to have gluten free pizza for tea. I asked the girl did she have any and was told there was one base left so we ordered that. It was delicious and the service was pretty good but unfortunately it turned out the pizza was NOT gluten free at all . My husband and I are both gluten intolerant and suffered all night and hardly ate anything for days after. It’s very important to make sure if someone asks for gluten free food that you either serve it correctly or admit that you don’t have any . I am assuming that the girl serving was in a big rush and made an error but please if you read this make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Now wat a place hands down the best rump steak I've ever had food was great. Stayed there for 1 nite and room was a ROOM with bed and thats it. If your around the area for work or a "truckie"it's ok. shared shower and toilet hahah the locals around town were friendly went to the pub and if your not local everyone makes you feel it great steak guys would go back for food if you don't like the smell of sheep and workmen it won't be a place for you but I'll leave that upto you

From the outside the place doesn't look like much, but the food was great, the meals were huge and the food was ready very quickly. I stayed here last year when I came to see my mum for christmas and did the same this year the rooms are small but with new beds and new airconditioning made sleeping in the summer comfortable and a couple meals from the bistro the food was also grrat in need of coffee fix i suggest going to the white rose cafr a short 5 min walk from the pub
