I have a mixed feeling about this place… The price and service were good. The takeaway box and paper bag were pretty cool. But taste was just okay. The cheese in the burgers didn’t even melt meaning the patty wasn’t hot enough. Chicken wings were too salty. Water please.

Pretty good meal. I got two different chicken burgers, one grilled and one fried. They were both a good size. And the choc hazelnut shake was delicious too. Overall, a satisfying and reasonably priced lunch.

Overall very good burgers and fries. The only issue I had was the wait time; when I ordered online it said it be ready by 12:54pm but was still waiting for another 12 mins before it was done. Their website was easy to order and allows you to customise, which is awesome. Burgers were excellent and well portioned. The store has a great vibe to it.

Kids ordered a beef burger and chicken burger which they loved! I ordered the Bob burger which was super tasty - the extra crispy bacon slice did the trick! Milkshakes were large and probably best to share between two people. Old school onion rings were nice and crunchy - we will be back for more!

Amazing burger, good value. Staff did not know how to make lemon lime bitters drink. Also they had no ice. Other then that, no complaints. Would go again as staff were attentive and they had large range of plant based and vegie burgers. Ideal if you are vegetarian and relaxed so great for kids.

A nice burger joint with a variety of sides and burgers. I enjoyed my fried chicken burger and the Darren Burger was also delicious. Good atmosphere and good service. Had the darren burger had nice crispy bun with juicy beef patty and crispy bacon nice fried egg with awesome sauce, fresh lettuce, tomato and pickles. The fries were nice and crispy. The onion rings are one of the best I've had, nice and crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Last the raspberry & white chocolate thickshake is one of the best places I've had thickshakes from hands down definitely recommend to try.

We wanted to actually try the Ramen joint next door but it was closed for the holiday season. Lucky the burger place was open and it was delightfully delicious. The Dilon was especially good. If you buy a drink cup it’s unlimited refills! We also ordered the Rachel and the grilled chicken was a bit dry. The onion rings was crunchy and satisfying. A great end to what was gonna be a great disappointment!

Great addition of burger shop in Redfern. The location is good and very close to the station. The beef patty is very juicy and the bun is very soft. Sauce is good but a bit too much on the tomato sauce. Not sure if you can request for tap water in here, otherwise you may have to buy yourself a drink.

This has become my favourite local place for fried chicken and burgers. I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered and when I’ve had it delivered, it has always been fast, hot and fresh. My pick of the burgers is Britney and for a fried chicken fix you can’t go past the boneless chicken pieces. They are crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. The onion rings are probably my favourite side (but the chips are good too!).

The staff are very friendly, hospitable, and the food come out very quickly. I like the burgers but there are elements to the way things are done that are just not for me. There's a hell of a lot of iceberg lettuce for one burger, and the generousness of sauce was enough to unfortunately cause my burger to fall apart. Nevertheless the experience was a good one, and I would strongly recommend this place to burger lovers, or even those ambivalent about burgers. Ps. Froot Loop Shake was OK.

Definitely order the onion rings to enjoy with your burger! We ordered the Theo beef burger which comes with double grass-fed beef patty, double cheese, bacon, bbq sauce, mustard, mayo, tomato, lettuce and pickles and the Henry chicken burger which comes with your choice of a grilled or fried chicken with tom-oli sauce and lettuce.

We ordered the dillion, a Rachel grilled and a chocolate milkshake. Service was friendly we ordered and had our food in no time. We absolutely loved the Rachel the balance of crisp fresh lettuce,fresh the acidity of the jalapeños and chicken were perfect. It was a 5/5. The beef burger was also fresh and yummy but failed to deliver on the promise of paprika. 4/5. All up guys your burgers are fresh and taste healthy and I love that you toasted bun the buns just right. Soft and a tiny bit crispy. The only area I’d suggest improvement on is the milkshake. The texture was great but the chocolate milkshake lacked flavour. Highly recommend trying their burgers.

The burgers are really good, chips are quite average. On that night we had dinner, the service was quite poor. Two things went wrong. Firstly, I am pretty sure my husband ordered strawberry shake for me cus I was beside him when he ordered, but I don’t know if their strawberry tasted like vanilla or I was given a vanilla shake. Secondly, I asked the staff if they have a dip for the chips, she said yeah we have and took our chips. The chips were given back to us after they have mixed some salt and thyme (?) in it. I was asking for a dipping sauce, not some additional salt and herbs on it. Thanks for the effort though.

I had the dillon👌 with chips and beer (only an after shot #emptyplates). The menu is well priced with most beef burgers differing by variation in condements which made it a bit hard to choose. Get there between 5-7pm for $5 happy hour on beer and wine. The grass fed beef patty is good but not the star being a little over done and lean compared to other offerings around Sydney. The condiment mix is thought out and won't end up in your hands, but finishes a bit flat. My preference is for a burger to leave me feeling comatose and overloaded on meat with a mix of regret and sorrow. You'll still be able to function after a meal but I might not go out of my way for another, the chips are fantastic!

Was out with my friend the other night finding a place to eat. Personally I don't eat burgers often. We came across Huxtaburger and wanted to give it a try. Saw on the menu there's a beef burger called Darren. Definitely couldn't resist (had my name). When the burger arrived, it looked very well placed. The customer service was also very amazing. Once I took the first bite of the burger, I couldn't stop. I ended up ordering another one to take back home >.<. Would highly recommend!

I heard about the rage of Huxtaburger from a close friend. He shared that it was one of the best burgers he had in Melbourne and now they opened a new joint here in Sydney. Huxtaburger did not disappoint. Great buns, the patties were nice and thick. Very juicy. The deep fried chicken options were great too. There are alot of burgers out there in Sydney that are great, and I think Huxtaburger is a potential top 5.

Love it! Darren and Denise Burger are both so delightful and especially the awesome sauce made me to enjoy the green vegies (usually hated and picked it out as a carnivores) XD the slightly sour and sweet but also bit spicy is a tickling flavour! No picture because it's gone too quickly! The gravy chips used the type of gravy similar to childhood's memory KFC's mash potatos =D so nice to have that taste back again! Very authentic burger shop, totally impressed and will come to order again from UberEats.

One of the better burgers I've tried. Went here during their grand opening and was more than happy to try their original HUXTABURGER for $1. It was very flavourful, the meat patty a tad on the chewier side but the toasted milky/brioche bun topped it all. It had such a delicate crunch to it and brought the whole burger together. Would come back.

Beef burger was enjoyable - good clean flavours. Give it a 3.5 but google doesn’t let you do half scores. Would be better if patty was a little bit thicker to retain juiciness and even out bun/meat ratio.Thumbs up for being grass fed. Great crispy fries, grab some sauce to go with it.

Average. Standard burger, thin meat patty, stewed rather than fried and overcooked (or well done), too much lettuce. Nice pickles, good sauce and cheese. Very greasy, unpleasant slick left on my mouth. Next to food prep area hangs the toilet key - slightly gross IMHO. Excellent chips. Won’t eat here again. Heaps of other good burger joints around.

Firstly the good bits. The staff at the counter was friendly and helpful with my meal selection. The bun on the 'Huxtabuger' was toasted just right from the use of generous amount of butter resulting in a good crunch from every bite. The cheese melted properly and the tomato, lettuce were of good quality. Unfortunately, the beef patty were a big let down, it wasn't overdone or dry but it simply lack juiciness compare to places like Burger Project or Five Points Burgers. The chocolate milkshake I had reminded of those from McDonald's, which is not a compliment considering the price difference.

This is how you make a burger. The bun has a toasted rim so that you get a crunch sensation with every bite. All ingredients are fresh and prepared with love, and I swear to you that you can taste the dedication! The only downside is that I live very close by, bad news for my scales. Must visit! If the quality of the food and service is at this level consistently, Huxtaburger will be a force to be reckoned with in the Sydney food scene.

Burger was alright, nothing to write home about. Poor selection of toppings really, confusing menu. Plastic cutlery is disappointing in a world where we all need to be conscious about single use plastics. Staff refused to account for my veggie friend and swap the beef burger for a veggie patty even though veggie and beef burgers were the same price, then offered to do it for 7 dollars on top? Small things like that can make a big difference to the experience, hence the 3 star review. Large hash bites was not ‘large’. Having to pay for mayo will always Be a gripe of mine but seems standard in Sydney unfortunately. Probably wouldn’t return.

Shared a burger, chips and chicken wings with a friend. The food was ok, but i probably wouldn’t come back. All the burgers really didn’t vary at all which we found a little lacking, the wings were a little small and weren’t that well breaded but the they were moist and nice. Their gravy was a let down.. very salty.. tasted a little too much like chicken stock cubes. Overall it was ok

The bun is the best part. Buttered and lightly toasted. The veggies are crisp and fresh. The meat Pattie was the biggest let down. Too processed and overcooked. Needs a coarser grind for better texture. The chipotle chips were tasty, but was too salty. Couldn't finish them all because my tongue was so dry.
