Very tasty double smashed patties burgers at Milky Lane. This is one of the coolest restaurants in Parramatta. Nice murals on the walls, retro video games, cool music playing and tasty burgers. I had the Milky Lane burger with double smashed beef patties, double cheese, fresh tomato, lettuce and maple smoked bacon. Yum. $18 for the burger an extra $3.10 for the bacon. Also had a $9.90 thickshake. More like a thick milk shake than a thick shake. Still tasty milkshake

Went here on a date. I loved how the place looked inside. Music playing and plenty of people made the vibe even better. They serve cocktails and mocktails 😁 Had to get a thickshake from just looking at the place's name. Thickshakes come out really fast and taste super super great.. could not recommend them more... plenty of flavours to choose from. Our side dish came within a reasonable time and was very delish. All the food names were cute because they were named after famous rappers and singers. Burgers on the other hand did take time to come out and was not 10/10 from what I was expecting. I would rate the burger I had a 6 to 7/10. But does not mean the other burgers aren't great. Will be back to try more!

The best part of Milky Lane is the atmosphere and the arcade machines. They're a lot of fun to play on while your food is being prepared, and really add to the feel of the restaurant. Regarding the food, as long as you know what you're getting into you can have a really enjoyable experience. The food is a bit greasy and incredibly messy. To me, this was worth it. But a lot of items on this menu will be very difficult to eat without getting it all over your hands and potentially your face. The Kevin Bacon burger was delicious, but a bit greasy. Towards the end of eating the burger it became a bit repetitive and a bit much. I couldn't finish it. I think it would benefit from having less patties, but the bacon was just the right amount. The milkshake was absolutely delicious.

Went to milky lane abit been busy so haven’t posted this review been wanting to try this for awhile Food: Milky lane plater with upgraded milkshake now I will say the side dishes was super great and the special I saw on other table look super good. Now my burger I got the Kevin bacon and the bacon tasted like rubber. Now all the other sides tasted really good Milkshake: mint aero milkshake was really good. Staff: really nice polite Place: it was nice but o god repaint the tables. Price: here my other big issue the plater 45 dollar the sides you get are kinda small version if you order them normally it ok for the burger choice but my biggest issue is upgrading a the milkshake is 5 dollar when there a price difference of 2 dollars felt like a scam.

During lockdown: I ordered their $33 combo deal from Door Dash food delivery. The food came hot and was very tasty. The bacon n cheese croquettes was oozing with cheese! A spicy sauce came with it which provided another nice kick to it. Their Chic-Kanye burger was slightly spicy too. I didn't like their strawberry milkshake cause they used strawberry syrup. Overall though, we loved our Milky Lane dinner. Definitely going to order it again with the free delivery and try their loaded popcorn chicken.

We visited Milky Lane Parramatta yesterday for cocktails followed by dinner and I must say, we weren’t disappointed. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was up to standard. The staff were lovely, we were served by Joseph & Bruce. They were very professional and gave us an exceptional customer service experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you guys very much.

Our mate used to work here, but even after we still visit as regulars. Atmosphere is bright and vibrant, staff are always friendly and the food has always been consistent for us. Plus the managers a champ :)

Milky Lane is a restaurant I would highly recommend for great food , I suggest dining in is the best exerience as the front of house staff are really friendly and deliver great customer service. The atmosphere of dining is fantastic as the style of the restaurant is very attractive and the music they play is great and well fitting for the restaurants main theme, they also have classic arcade machines for you to play. I ordered the Lil Weezy burger what was a really great double patty burger with cheese and because I came in during lunch special before 4pm all burgers come with a side of fries and a drink. And to wrap it up I ordered Fatman scoop ice cream at the start what came out at the perfect time after finishing my main meal. For me all up I give the whole restaurant my total score of: Food 10/10 Front of house service 10/10 Atmosphere of the Restaurant 10/10

The fitout of this place is pretty cool, particularly like the arcade games booth. I was visiting family for the weekend from Melbourne (aka foodie capital 😜). Only downside was the music was a little too loud particularly for a busy Saturday lunch time! I ordered the chocolate thickshake that unfortunately wasn't very thick at all and the entree sizes loaded fries that were nice and the right size for me as a main. Others at my table ordered the chicken burger and vegie burger with the sweet potato fries that they said was pretty good. Pricing is average.

This is a super cool place to visit. It's definitely a destination restaurant. The art, the decor, the colours, the vintage arcade games and the hip hop music all contribute to the fun and energetic vibe that this place has. The staff are up beat, and good at moving people in and out. This place can get packed, so try and book in advance. We arrived at 12pm, when they open, and it filled up while we were sitting there. It's basically a burger and milkshake joint. They have some specials each month; think mac and cheese balls or super freak shakes. I like the whole vibe, but, damn, this place is expensive. For two people, for lunch, we paid about $100. Sooo. Yeah. The burgers are good. My favourite in Parramatta, but... Really expensive. Maybe save this place for a special treat.

There is a lot to like about milky lane but there were a few details that stop the restaurant from getting 5 stars. First of the restaurant looks really cool, it has a hip hop diner vibe. The food is tasty but this is where the problems start. We felt that the food is a little overpriced but the worst was the onion rings. We ordered a side of onion rings, $8 for a small basket of about 8 rings, for $2 less you can get a basket of chips which is about 50% bigger which seems much better value. The young lady who brought our food just plopped it on the table, a smile and a friendly "enjoy your meal" would have been nice. And none of the food was hot, it lessened the enjoyment of the food when it was only luke warm. And then finally dessert, our deep fried icecream was served with no cutlery and it took a few minutes to get the staff's attention to get some. Overall it was an enjoyable meal but a few details could have made it 5 star

Such a cool venue, great atmosphere, quality tunes and a really fun menu for choice. Biggest downfall for me was service unfortunately, took ages for drinks and food to come and it was coming into lunch time. The food tasted soooooo good and unreal value for money!!! Found this place when looking for something to eat at around 3pm on a Wednesday. They had a lunch special where you get a burger, drink and chips for about $19 which was pretty good as the burger it's self was $17. Place was painted with hip hop stars and had hip hop playing throughout, it had an area with 3 old school video games, I think they were free to play. Overall the burger was pretty good. Room for improvement in the front seating area as there was a unkempt wait station with some rags and dishes on it, but it wouldn't stop me going back.

Great vibe, friendly staff, nice deco and well laid out. The murals look amazing, however the spotlights on them are a bit too bright when taking photos. Loved this place, I felt like I was in America, it has a different feel than the usual. Great for dinner, drinks or yummy desserts. Food and drinks are a bit pricey but it's so yummy and well worth it. A neon logo on the black tiled wall for that extra touch would look amazing. Still a new venue, but has lots of potential to make the most of all the space available. Well done guys, all the best!

A good but very average experience. The highlight was the burgers. They were tasty with fresh tomatoes, onion and lettuce and the sauce was a good amount although the meat pattie was slightly burnt on the edges. The downside was all the sides. We ordered the "pepperoni fries" and popcorn chicken. Fries- the pepperoni was cheap in texture and taste, the cheese was not melted at all rather just placed ontop, and there was close to no 'pizza' sauce. The popcorn chicken was just 6 pieces of fried chicken, very boring. The atmosphere was fun and fresh with an urban twist and the service was nice, quick and efficient.

Would give 3.5 if I could, since I can't it's 3. I ordered the burger platter, which was decent value for money. The food overall was pretty good. I had a milkshake for the drink, which was decent enough. This place does have some really good looking desserts and cocktails, which I unfortunately couldn't try that day. One if our sides was a fried mash potato ball, and one of them had no filling at all. When I told the staff they resolved the issue quickly and gave me a replacement, the service was great. Can recommend this place if you want something greasy or a dessert kind of cocktail. I know I'll be back myself sometimes to try the bueno cocktail.

The Chickanye is a classic that we can never go past but we tried monthly special burger and it was on another level! And the bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks!! Food here is fantastic, if you want a funky as milkshake covered in all kinds of candy and coloured blue or a burger that rocks your taste buds with a twelve hour slow cooked brisket then this is the sort of place you will like. With Sydney socialite owner Christian Avant known for making extravagant decisions all in aid of keeping the good times rollin’, it should come as no surprise that his chain of burger joints operates with a similar ethos. Stepping into his seven-month-old Parramatta outlet from staid boring Macquarie Street, is like walking onto the set of a modern day Happy Days. It’s hard not to stop and gawp at the colourful candy shop environment, where murals and paste-ups compete with Mortal Kombat arcade games for your attention. The tunes are energetic; the staff are engaged and smiling; and the cocktails are hectic. Even the tap water bottles are given a classic Coke bottle twist, with glasses coming with ice and (almost extinct) plastic straws. Marshmallow-infused white rum forms the basis of the pretty'n'pink Bubblegum Sour ($16). Despite a sweet topper of Persian fairy floss and torched marshmallows, it's actually quite sour and reasonably easy to drink. I can't quite say the same about the Mint Aero Cocktail ($18) from the October specials menu. However it really does taste like an Aero Bar was flung into a blender with a decent slurp of 42 Below Vodka; and it’s certainly hard to withhold a smile when it lands, lashed with chocolate syrup, rimmed with chocolate flakes and buried under hazelnut foam. Deep Fried Mash Potato Balls ($11) are another October extra that'll get you creating Snapchat videos involving injectable cheese gravy in no time. The fluffy golden balls are already topped with Mexican cheese, Parmesan and truffle aioli, though we threw in some chilli sauce for the complete Ken Done effect (and to help cut through all that rich, cheesy grease). What you’re really here for is, of course, the burgers; and, if you follow Milky Lane’s social feed, the fact that they’re well presented smile-makers should come as no surprise. Looks aside, I really enjoyed eating Chic-Kanye ($19). It's Milky Lane’s take on a crisp Southern fried chicken burger, with maple-smoked bacon, the requisite oozing golden American cheese, butter leaf lettuce, and a trio of sauces (take that Bobby Flay). The jalapeno pineapple relish and the smoky barbeque worked wonderfully together, and I enjoyed licking drips off my fingers as they rained down in an avalanche of Carolina ‘slaw. If you can believe it, Limp Brisket ($19) is even messier affair, but it's slightly less cohesive in the flavour department. Between two rapidly dissolving buns you’ll find a hefty mound of 12-hour Texan rubbed smoked beef brisket braised in barbeque sauce that competes with their special sauce, American mustard and ketchup to see which can ruin your clothing fastest. With onion rings and more ‘slaw to contend with as well, this burger is definitely not first date material, even if seems like a great idea at the time. Just like blowing $1000 getting your cars towed home from a festival then missing your $1000 hummer home and having to take a $260 cab, visiting Milky Lane will likely be one of the best bad decisions you make (for a lot less coin).

I love this place solely based on the vibe and atmosphere. It’s got such a hip hop and rn&b vibe which is what I love. It’s a cool concept that they’ve come up with and have a dj playing music live. Both times I’ve been the same waiter served my group and he was great. The popcorn chicken is really nice but a little overpriced. I’ll be back again to try some the bigger burgers.

We chose the Chic-Kanye Burger and then also ordered the Milky Lane Burger. Everything was quite nice. The loaded fries were the most delicious. Waiters could be more attentive especially around the corner near the front windows. We felt forgotten being out of eyesight, and it took time to get waitstaff attention when we wanted to order, wanted a takeaway box, and then when we wanted the bill. We ended up going to the counter to pay.

The Milky Cheat Platter ($45) is a generous portion for one person. The Big Poppa burger was very juicy and beautifully presented. Other than the Pop-Korn chicken, which were small and dry, everything else was very tasty. The price is a bit steep, but you are paying for the nice interior too!

Oh. My. Word. Burger lovers rejoice. The menu here will blow you away. I had the Kevin Bacon which was huge, messy, and everything we want in a great burger. Friends got the Limp Brisket, which has my name all over it for my next visit. If you have room for dessert, there are options that will raise your cholesterol just reading about them. And if all this makes you feel guilty, there a Fitness First gym conveniently located right across the street.

After great reviews from friends, we decided to pop in, and glad we did! The food was delicious, and the service was great! Menu was so fun and we will definitely be back to try everything else out on the menu! Milky lane owners, if you’re reading this, please add something with haloumi to the menu - and I’ll never leave haha! Restrooms are located inside the toilet, however unsure if they have baby change room facilities. There is street parking available also.

Food was really nice here, although if u had so critique something it would be the thick shakes. Although it is visually pleasing, it is way too sweet. Tastes and Price included, the thick shakes were worth a pass. Funky Hip-Hop beats play while you dig into delicious burgers and the walls are decorated with murals of Hip-Hop legends, such as 2pac and Biggie. The burgers are as big as your head and cooked to perfection. The burgers have names like: Big Poppa, Lil Weezy, Chic-Kanye and The Drake The meat is Halal too. Milky lane in parramatta is a must visit place, I loved the inside with beautiful murals and a section with arcades videogames. A great atmosphere. The cocktails are just genial, we had the buoeno which was very well balanced and it had a nice kick of liquor. It would have been a full 5 stars if we hadn't ordered the churros. The desert was quite disappointing, the dough wasn't cooked inside and it felt like it had a strong taste of eggs. The coconut icecream consistency was quite granular and it didn't taste very well either. We can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

I absolutely love this place. What an incredible atmosphere and place to dine. Dj always fresh, food always makes me beyond full and satisfied, incredible artwork and who doesnt love arcade games! We do not plan outings if we plan on eating here because we are always in a food coma! I highly recommend!!! I always appreciate how they respect my special food requirements and have never gotten an order wrong for me. Note: always good to make a booking! Yes it's really busy, yes it has high wait times, but if you look at the large size of the place and the fact that there is never an empty table (At least when I always go) you can clearly expect your food not to be delivered in 2 minutes. Booking is key and even then you still sometimes have to wait 15min. That's not the restaurants fault, people sit, chat and enjoy the atmosphere. Anyways for me, it is always worth the wait. A restaurant icon in the making for Parramatta. This restaurant has iconic wall art paintings of popular culture as well as bright neon lights which gives it a unique feel. The setting is casual and cosy and even pays homage to retro pop culture games with a small arcade section dedicated to the videos games of the 90s (Street fighter, etc) The food is American style burgers, chips, nuggets etc. Their cheese gravy is unique and was definitely a hit with the crowd that night.

Milky lane is a vibe you have to be feeling before you go. It's always got a great atmosphere. However the music was way too loud, it was like a night club while eating and it was very difficult to have a conversation. Some of the staff were quite cranky, an older gentleman in particular who slammed the door shut when patrons entered. Majority of the staff were lovely though. We had an incident when the waitress had accidentally spilt the share cocktail, glasses and other drinks all over the way which went on us, we understood though as accidents happen however a new share cocktail was not brought out and we had to argue our bill as we were not paying full price for some items as my friends were drenched in drink. They ended up doing this for us and they were okay about it. I probably wouldn't go back here for a dinner as you can't talk with the loud music but I think it's a fab vibe for just chilling and having some drinks.

Walked in with two friends for dinner. Very cool decor and theme in the restaurant. They have music with a DJ, but I found the music too loud; holding a conversation isn’t the easiest here. Had to wait a long time for service, you’re better off booking. In saying that though, there are better places if you’re going to book. The burgers aren’t cheap, $17 for the “Milky Lane” but it was a very average burger. Milkshake was good, fries were good, but still over priced. Customer was good from most of staff, not so much the front manager on the night I went. For me, one visit is enough.

I've had a lot of burgers in my time and I'll never come back here. Not a great deal of flavour in the burger and the brisket had a few burnt pieces which didn't add a nice flavour. Onion rings not that great. Sweet potato fries were ok.

Staff were attentive and our meals came out really quick especially when it was a busy and crowded Saturday night. Always delicious! Huge servings well worth the money. My suggestion is to get the cheat platter and split it, or just 2 burgers and a loaded fries, otherwise you might regret it. Only disappointment is the deep fried snickers. Better to be served hot, mine was cold and didnt seemed battered properly. The dough was chewy and the chocolate was burnt. Might have been just a one off though.

Great bits 1st, our waitress Indi was amazing, I always have questions and she delivered. Our cocktails were yummy especially the Bondi Sour (only critique was more passion fruit would have topped it). The southern fried burger did come out cold but Indi was all over it and fixed it straight away. The sweet potato fries where also yummy. Food is PROBABLY great. I've heard heaps of good things. Turned up with my pregnant partner, 5 minutes before our booking time. Waited in an incredibly long line for 15 minutes, 10 minutes past our booking time. It was so windy and cold so we weren't keen on waiting, but whatever, you guys are heaps busy, I get it. I sung out to a young waiter if we wait in line even though we have a booking or what the go was, he told me it's super busy and we'll probably have to wait, front of house will come check who has bookings in 5 or 10. So what is there were people waiting around longer than us that had bookings before us? You guys have built a great brand, awesome atmosphere, hell yeah the musics loud and the cocktails and burgers are over the top, that's what it's all about. But if you don't want to risk losing a couple patrons due to no shows, then don't take bookings. If it's something you're having an issue with get some help. Seriously pissed about it , especially because I gee'd myself up for it and was prepared to spend a couple hundred bucks, but definitely won't write the place off. Probably won't be going back though, especially with the pregnant missus, maybe if we're in the area and we see the place isn't so busy. You boys have done a great job addressing complaints and improving your brand, taking constructive criticism, but this experience was no good. Stoked burger project is just around the corner 😋😋

Ultimately this place was disappointing. Bit pretentious and extremely overpriced. The burger buns taste like some sort of dessert. Too sweet and soft making in, in my opinion not really a proper burger. Not a massive fan of this whole brioche bun epedemic that is sweeping the world. Chips were standard, not really hard to mess them up. One thing I will say on a positive note is that the cocktails and milkshakes were pretty good, creative and tasty, best part of an otherwise pretty poor meal. Staff were ok maybe a bit lacklustre, trying to display a sort of cool ‘I could be somewhere else’ sort of attitude which just comes off as arrogance really. As a hip hop head, the decor is cool, but the vibe is just a bit pretentious. Our bill for 2 burgers, 1 chips, 1 beer a milkshake and one 1 cocktail was over $100! I added it up from the menu and it was $80 but when we got the bill it was 100 so I don’t know how they added that up! Doubt I’d go again, just standard food at expensive prices, have had better, cheaper on many occasions.

The only thing letting it down was the excessively loud music which caused us to have to yell at each other to be heard. By the time we left we had given up on conversation and I was hoarse from yelling - it was like being in a nightclub! We saw the staff ask the DJ on 3 different occasions to turn it down because other tables were also complaining. He would turn it down for a song or two then back up to ridiculously loud. It was impossible for us to have any conversation - not great when you're out to eat dinner and catch up with friends! Not sure if I would return - maybe it was a one off but it really was a shame because everything else was A+.

Came here last night and looking at earlier reviews here, it's good to know the staff have definitely settled in well and the business is now running in it's prime. The service was just spectacular even though it was fairly busy. Dj playing some legendary RnB, and food came out fast and hot, well presented and full of flavour. Got to try both the milkshakes and a cocktail and both were amazing, don't think you can find another like it in Parramatta. Definitely coming back here again!

Fantastic food, and great drinks. A really nice place, staff were wonderful and I walked away feeling extremely full and satisfied. There are 2 reasons the don't get 5 stars. First is the music volume. It was not possible to have a conversation with the person next to you without either yelling or leaning right into each other's ears. You aren't a night club, please limit your music so we can hear each other. The second reason is the managers. Every staff member was wearing a Milky Lane shirt and really looked the part, but the two gentlemen who I am assuming were the managers were just in normal clothing. One in a plain T-shirt, the other in a holden racing shirt. Just looked unprofessional and I had no idea they were staff until they picked up a menu and took us to our seat. Seems pointless to have a staff uniform if you aren't all going to wear it

If i could give more stars i would! My partner and i went for dinner, it was already super busy so we were worried about not having a reservation but they happily seated us. We were sitting for not to long but just long enough when our waited (little mitch) asked if we were ready He happily took our order and his service was the best ive ever recieved absolutley impeccable! The food took less than 15 minutes to be at our table with our drinks The food itself was so good! Little dissapointed the burgers didnt come with fries but by themselves they were still plenty filling The price is a little steep but with the service and quality of food im happy to pay for it any day The manager was on the floor directing the crew and every table was cleaned straight away, people were seated fast and everything ran smoothly Just overall an amazing experience Its a 45 minute drive to get there and i would 110% go there again without a question

First impressions just blow you away with its modern take on the old ''milk bar' look. Arcade machines, a DJ playing (this was Friday night) and a drinks bar while you wait for your mates torock up, it definately has something for you. The atmosphere really is a people pleaser. The burgers themselves were presented very well, featuring a few beef options, crispy chicken, and a vege option. Their sauces were rich and tasty, meat cooked to your liking, and topped shiny brioche bun. My brisket was just so succulent and full of flavour, but it didn't come with bacon so I added that extra (+$4). There are many extras to choose from. The service was excellent, with the same waitress asking us how we were faring. I noticed after a few bites that my burger didn't have bacon, so I queried it and the waitress ensured that they would make a new one with the side added. Unfortunately for them we accidentally sent back what we thought was the wrong Burger earlier (I couldn't hear the waitress confirming what she brought out, and the friend rejected it, when it was right), but it was handled professionally and quickly. We also ordered the popcorn chicken and battered chips. The cocktails looked amazing but we didn't opt for them. I had to knock off a star because the prices are very high. Burgers range from $17 but it adds up especially if you factor in milkshakes ($10) add-ons ($3+) and sides to share. Cocktails were $19. Also have to factor in the busyness, for which they take bookings or be prepared to queue. But apart from that, very impressed and worth the price when considering the overall package and atmosphere, not just the food.

Fries were crispy and piping hot and the dipping sauce was amazing. Very accommodatingas we had a pram, although the booth seats were a little tight, struggled to hold bubs, so not sure how someone who might be....heavier would fit into those booths.

You must follow this place on instagram, everything you see is exactly how it is! Milky lane has a cool, chill vibe from a professional DJ to the amazing artwork of tupac and other musical legends painted on the walls. There's even a section with pinball and gaming machines. Now the food is mouthwatering, satisfying, absolutely delicious and worth every calorie! I recommend the Kevin bacon and chicken parmigiana burger, they go down great with a classic milkshake too. This burger place is in the top 5 and I'll definitely be coming back!

Milky Lane is a very hipster place it's main dishes are burgers and chips. Milky Lane even has free arcade games for you to play while you wait for your food. Overall they have lovey customer service and good food. You should definitely go there if your hanging with your friends.

Close to Parramatta station. Milky Lane is a venue for casual dinning facused on younger crowd as the have an in-house DJ, playing r&b music. Great music and the vocal frequencies are surpressed so you can listen to eachother. The food is western style burgers, fancy coated chip and desserts. The burgers were usual size and is nothing spactacular in taste. The negative is pricing where you are hit with burger/ chip meal at $26.00 up to $38.00 for meal. I guess what the food lacks, the atmosphere makes up for it. They also have big glass cocktails with co2 injected to create the smokey affect which wows the crowd. Its a glamoured burger joint where you eat and are asked to progress to dessert or they will bring the bill. You feel rushed as they have a queue building up as the sun goes down. Nice venue where i spent $120.00 for 4 people. Good to experience it though as it does have lots of good vibes to it.
