Enjoyed a 3-night stay at Adelaide’s Hotel Indigo and had a wonderful time. Comfortable, clean rooms with a fully equipped bathroom, significant space for clothing and possessions, comfortable beds and all other essentials - great value. All staff assisting with check in/check out, cleaning and meals were lovely and helpful.

We are so pleased to have chosen the Indigo Hotel to use with the state accomodation voucher. The closeness to the city, markets and the Her Majesty’s theatre was a plus. The uniqueness and the used history of South Australia with the …

The service was excellent! The staff, especially Gustavo, Catalina and Catalina were so friendly and made my friends and I feel like we were in a home away from home. Thankyou so much!!!
The room was trendy with a cool decor, beds were really comfortable.
The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommend this hotel.

Well situated in the heart of Adelaide Central Market at the southern part of Adelaide CBD. There are many food places opened up to 10-11pm on weekends, which is perfect for late night snack. Nearest tram station is Victoria Square stop, …

This is my favourite hotel in Adelaide. The rooms are quirky and luxe. The pool is amazing - great lounges to rest on in between swims, I had the po to myself both times I went in. It is heated so still great for the cooler months. The breakfast was huge- and delicious. Great location- lots of food places nearby. I got dumpling king 🤤
The only negative is that the parking is a little bit of a walk from the hotel itself.
C.
Our recent stay was excellent. The hotel is close to the markets, good restaurants and public transport. The new rooms are clean and well laid out. The rooftop bar has wonderful views and a great vibe as well as an excellent array of choices on the menu. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back.
J.
Such a beautiful, unique, modern, clean, hotel. We had the premium corner view room overlooking the markets and west side, I can’t recommend this room enough. The rooms were so colourful, comfortable and had modern quality features. The dining area had a lot to offer including friendly staff, beautiful bar and staircase.

Room was a nice size and well appointed. Decorated nicely to reflect the location. Shower was wonderful with great pressure, though bathroom slightly on the dimly lit side. Bed very comfy. Aircon working well. …

Wonderful stay, room and property’s theming excellent, location perfect with closeness to the Adelaide Central Market and numerous restaurant options.
Next time we’ll try eating in house. …

The “Adelaide Festival” signature design of the Hotel is most appealing. It makes it uniquely Adelaide, and is striking and cheerful. The Market and Meander restaurant/bar Hotel entrance is equally inviting, low key and not imposing, but …

Great location and a stunning place to stay. The shower itself was an experience, plus the room was artsy and fun and totally functional in a modern way (you know, charging ports for modern phones etc). Almost cried when I said bye to the bed - best sleep I've had in a year I reckon. It was my only night in Adelaide and I can't wait to come back to the city literally just to stay at this hotel 🙌
T.
Hotel Indigo is modern, fresh and funky! The service on arrival was fantastic. Daniel was so busy, yet he was in a great mood, patient, fun and so much help. Our room was spacious and lovely. The service at breakfast (and overall) was the best I have experienced in a long time. Hotel Indigo is a must to visit!
M. K.
Really funky well designed rooms. The hotel is in a great location. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The food was really good, make sure you have breakfast here. The only down side is hotel is small and they have tried to pack to much into the ground floor which makes it hard to come and go.

Our first stay at Hotel Indigo was a memorable experience. From the lush surroundings, the unique rooms, excellent service, Fantastic food. The rooftop bar was the icing on the cake. The staff made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough …

We stayed for two nights (Friday & Saturday) and loved everything about this hotel. The location next to the markets, the roof top bar (recommend the skewers), the cheerful décor but mostly the service - definitely 5 star. The only reason I …

We are here for three nights. So far it is outstanding. Great room (we coughed up a bit extra for a corner room) and it's terrific. The breakfast was exceptionally good. I will re-report after the three nights!

One of my favourite stays in Adelaide! Newly built in 2021, the rooms are stylish, modern but also warm. The hotel amenities are good with a cool rooftop bar, ground floor bar and restaurant, as well as a moderately sized lap pool. Rooms are very well priced, and the central location is great for people wanting to visit the central markets. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will hopefully stay again soon.

The food at Market & Meander is next level! Do yourself a favor and visit this amazing gem! Everything we tasted melted in other mouths. You could see so much love, care and attention went into every meal. Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had! The only problem
was leaving enough room for dessert! Oh the dessert! You definitely want to leave some room for that! Can’t wait to get back and try some of the other dishes. Highly recommend!
D.
Rooms were clean and comfortable but the location was amazing! Wide range of dining out options just steps away and the Central Markets just a block from the hotel with everything from Haigh’s chocolates to fresh produce to fabulous food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my baby boy and they were super accommodating- provided a crib and even a high chair when requested. The room was spacious, clean and the art was dope. Wish I could’ve tried out the restaurant, rooftop bar and pool, but it was a bit too chilly. 💜

This was one of the best hotel stays we've had in both Adelaide and overseas! The decor was lovely, the roof top bar and the ground level bar were great.

This is a nice hotel, it is new (march 2021) and so everything is nice and tidy. The room was nice, the staff were great and the food was delicious. Ohh and the cocktails we had were amazing!! Definitely worth checking out for the slightly more budget conscious. Only small complaints was the pool was not warm enough and the parking is located a block and a half away but besides that all good
C.
Love staying at the Hotel Indigo. This was our fourth visit. A great experience once again - except a few staff interactions that weren't as friendly as the first few times, which was a shame. A very clean property that made us feel safe at all times. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
M.
I was impressed with the customer service as soon as I entered the hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I only stayed overnight but recommend this place for anyone wishing to stay. It is centrally located and within easy walking of many amenities and being close to China town there are many eateries to choose from.

The Indigo Hotel was the perfect staycation for my boyfriend and I and we only live 20mins away. We truly felt on holiday and the service provided by the staff was amazing. Our room was great, with city views and modern/ arty decor. Located right next to the Central markets and other popular cafes/ restaurants means everything you need is right on your doorstep. We had cocktails in the lobby bar and more drinks at the rooftop bar which both had a great atmosphere. We also had breakfast at the hotel as we found it wasn’t too busy compared to other breakfast spots around and the decor was stylish. We’re thinking of staying in the city again but some of the other accommodation options don’t even compare. Most likely will return and definitely will recommend!
j.
Fantastic hotel with a unique decor running throughout the hotel and the hotel rooms. Well equipped rooms with every amenity available on request. Location was excellent - right in the middle of the Adelaide CBD and within minutes of Central Market and Chinatown.

Pool was awesome. Breakfast was sensational so much food. Especially liked the scrambled eggs on toast.
Great room. Great tv. Excellent staff - best staff ever experienced.
Great value for money.

The room was comfortable and in close proximity to the central market and china town. The service received was average - drinks forgotten and lots of waiting staff hovering while we ate our meals. Parking was a problem as it was 2 blocks away as that is the only car park they were affiliated with.

We were very excited to stay at Hotel Indigo and it didn't disappoint! Everything from the location, the staff, to the decor, the comfy bed, delicious breakfast and beautiful rooftop bar!! We loved it all and have already booked our next stay..... this time for two nights!! Cant wait!!

We had the best memorable stay here at Indigo. Right from check-in to checkout the service was great. We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and everyone of the staff congratulated us which was such a special touch. We loved the way the staffs take care of the guest, loved their team work and efforts on providing the best service to their guests. Trust me you are never left unattended.
Located in middle of the busy china town but as soon as you enter you feel like you've come to a different world. So bright and lovely. It is modern yet unique. The rooftop bar was lively, the food at the restaurant was amazing and the chef had made us a special dessert to celebrate the occasion, which was really very special.
The rooms is lovely. Colour and vibrant. There are special touches in the room, you will not see any bulky furnitures in the room, clean spacious and sustainable. Oh yes did i forget to mention that the hotel has creatively designed the solar panels !
Alright peoples please visit this gorgeous place in Adelaide .. highly recommended you will not be disappointed. Will surely be back soon.

Amazing staff and great location!
We loved our mini stay here and even though it was crazy when we arrived (suspect everyone is getting there at exactly 2pm to make the most of the room and great state voucher) the team did a great job of getting us processed and into the room ASAP
We also ate at market and meander the eatery and the food was great, filling, not over priced and really good quality. Would stay again.

This was a great find. Lovely vibrant Hotel in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. Almost right across the road from the Adelaide Central Market. 5 minute walk to the free city tram, or a trip to Glenelg via the tram. The young reception staff were helpful and very friendly. A great hotel for our short stay in Adelaide.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Local Adeladian living near town (can walk into the CBD) . I saw a great deal online and thought hey why not! It's worth paying a bit extra for the corner rooms if you don't mind. We were on the 14th floor! Which has a great view. The room had soft neutral tones and colours lots of natural wood and the bathroom was amazing! Great spot for a weekend getaway especially if you enjoy the markets and all their fresh food!
O.
Right in the centre of Adelaide's market and food area. Refreshingly new concept with space, comfort, cleanliness and beauty in mind. Sadlly it was very cold and rainy during our stay but would love to come back and enjoy their amenities like the swimming pool and bar on the roof.
C. M.
Amazing hotel, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to all of our requests. Hotel was beautiful, amazing decor, pool on Level 4 was amazing although needs an extra couple of degrees on the heating for the cooler months. Really enjoyed our stay and such a convenient location for access to Gouger Street!

I'm unsure how this place doesn't have a higher rating to be honest. It was absolutely fantastic. The service provided by the friendly staff was fantastic. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at any hotel and the rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Everything had been thought of including a door outside our door which could be shut if you could hear noise outside from the elevator (we couldn't, but it was there if needed). The decor was fantastic and make sure you go to the rooftop bar for a drink. All round it was one of the best experiences I have had in Adelaide hotels.

We loved our stay at Hotel Indigo. We have a great staycation with so much nearby to do. Love the central markets and being so close it was a spot we spent our Friday night and had a great experience. Wow the hotel breakfast was amazing, really different choices not the old same same.
A.
It was beautiful. Came here for Easter and my friends and I had an amazing time. Beautiful room, interiors and service. Breakfast service was a little slow but we enjoyed the food. Great pool and gym facilities. The story of the hotel is amazing and love how they kept the original brick work. Maybe a little compact but it's a cute little space designed beautifully.
L.
A new hotel, our comfortable room was bright and friendly, well equipped, great shower, good lighting, well equipped with everything we expected. Staff was friendly and helpful, very convenient location close to restaurants and Adelaide central market.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely rooms, great facilities and delicious food at the restaurant - especially the kingfish, pairs nicely with the Prosecco! Rooftop bar and pool area are also great - with fabulous views!

Lovely room. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom and even though we were opposite the lift, didn't hear any noise. The pool is small but ideal for a quick splash if it's unoccupied (and great views). Rooftop bar is gorgeous although seems to shut around 10. The lobby is beautiful. Top stay

The hotel is new and trendy- wallpaper funky, shelving and bathroom modern and furniture colourful. However, comfort was missing- the room was freezing and kept resetting to cold. The seat looked good but not really functional and the room was a bit small.

Second stay for us here. Great location to walk to market and to the multitude of eateries within the precinct. Only criticisms are the lack of easy parking, and competition with visitors for the elevators when the rooftop bar is operating.

Funky new hotel. Great decor and the roof bar is fantastic. Friendly, helpful staff and good views from the Premium rooms. My only gripe would be that we ordered the $14 fruit bowl as room service on the morning which had a $6 room service charge and the fruit bowl itself was very limited - it would have been easy to add some banana or melon at least. Not good value for $20!!!
S.
The hotel was new and vibrant and had a good atmosphere. The decor was amazing and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Great food abd drinks
A. C.
Absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. The rooftop bar was the perfect spot to catch the lights of Adelaide at night. Thankyou for an amazing birthday stay. Definitely coming back.

Lovely my stay at Hotel Indigo. Beautiful, clean modern rooms with amenities I didn’t expect for the price like fluffy robes and slippers! It felt very luxurious staying here. Just wish they had free Foxtel or other pay TV - I could only find free to air channels on the TV
B. G.
Stayed here over the weekend and its a very funky hotel. The rooms are neat and very "art deco" This is a well positioned hotel if you like the city the market and food. Easy walking anywhere. The rooftop bar is a new version of Adelaide bars, very cool but you need to book very popular on a Friday and Saturday. The down side, the staff seem inexperienced and breakfast service was a debacle that no one seemed to know what was going on. Positive, the food was amazing. Give it a shot.
G. g.
We had a corner room with fantastic veiw of the sun going down. The decor was very now and exciting especially the bathroom. The heated outdoor pool also has great views to soak up. Cant wait for our next stay. Not to mention being next to the central market and array of food choices.
T. M.
Great rooms and customer service were helpful and quick to fix any issues. We had a slight issue with the air-conditioning and they upgraded our room without hesitation.
T. B.
Sound proofing between floors isn’t great and water hammer in the bathroom. Location is perfect and room is amazing, with great decor. Roofbar is lovely though food choices are a tad limited. Looking forward to returning as the negatives are far outweighed by the plethora of positives.
A.
Great modern and bright hotel. Loved the South Australian theming in the rooms and hallways. would have been nice to see views from a higher level, we were on the 1st floor which had no view. A warning for people parking in the upark, it is quite a long walk and you have to get the discounted ticket from the hotel before parking so bit of driving back and forth. All in all a great stay though and nice quite location even though we were right in the city. Fantastic hotel gym!
J. K.
Top job Team Indigo Adelaide, we had a ripper little getaway here...
This place is fresh, new, arty, tasty, friendly, comfy, spacious & unpretentious. From the restaurant to roof top bar the eats & drinks here are market fresh, delicious and very very satisfying. Our corner balcony suite was high, viewsome and spacious with all of the important stuff for our 2 night stay including the sparkling pool & gym. The crew were fun to be with, happy to be there, interactive and available without intruding and were all kitted out in great looking gear in theme with the hotel. Highly recommended.
N. B.
Great new hotel in a convenient spot near all the good places to eat! Very modern and so far well presented. It will be a test of time to see if it remains like this.
Awesome rooftop bar with some excellent ranges of scotch, beer and cocktails.
The food is also very well done, admittedly I only indulged in a desert and a starter plate of pate but it was well over what I expected size wise and quality.
My only small gripe is that there is no onsite parking - I was lucky enough to park on the street and not get fined but it’s a 3 minute walk with luggage to a paid parking station.
Thank you to the young lady staff member at the rooftop bar.....you provided a great list of places to eat and drink. I will certainly partake next time I’m in town.
Be patient with the staff. They are young and learning, but very happy and helpful nonetheless!

A stunning new hotel in the heart of Adelaide!
We stayed in one of the suites with the balconies. The views across the city were stunning, the bed was big and comfortable, and all the modern amenities were available too. The only downfall was the size of the bathroom, in the context of the size of the rooms - but this was easily forgiven.
Service was upbeat and informed during our stay. There were a few issues with use of eftpos on check-in for us, and a breakfast item not being available when we ordered in - but all staff were accommodating and issues were fixed immediately. I’ll put it down to early days at the hotel.
It is located just around the corner from the Central Markets, with plenty of references to the importance of local suppliers and stores throughout the hotel. From the seafood used at the rooftop bar, to the wines stocked in the bar on the ground level, and the markets book provided in rooms as well. Beautiful!
Worth a sticky beak and a stay!
R.
A fabulous hotel with a high level of accommodation and comfort. The roof top bar is really well done and a relaxing place to meet friends and catch up.

Very clean rooms with great views.
Love the rooftop bar
Did not like the heating and cooling in room.was not very effective and rooms without balcony were a bit deprived of oxygen.

Great location, very modern and rooms really clean. Very good value for money and fantastic roof top bar. Will definitely stay again.

As Adelaide residents we decided to explore the Adelaide Central Market location. Whilst the King Corner Room was lovely we upgraded to a suite to have a separate bedroom. more floorspace and a balcony. Absolutely loved this. The room, …

Overall a very pleasant couple of days, the Hotel is new, the rooms very well appointed, very comfortable bed, great location close to Market and eateries along Gouger Street. Also close to the tram if not driving.

I don't know what your leadership team has managed to do with the staff but they were always smiling, happy, positive and reaching out to be personable. Or is it Adelaide in general? We were met at reception with a smile and welcomed being …

They forgot what does mean good service, now is a lousy service, they even forgot to play music. We had a reservation, when we arrived everything was a mess, service trolleys everywhere, a waitress shouts at us from the other side of the rooftop bar, to come in and sit anywhere even without registering the COVID QR. yes, shouting.
If you don't have the place ready, please don't open. October

About the rooftop Bar ! An exceptional view, a modernist concept in the best "Art Deco" style.
Although the cocktails are good, they can take forever to get to the table, the cheese board could be taken off the menu, that shouldn't go with sweet popcorn, unless you have a children's party.
For everything else it's worth going and creating your own experience. March /2021

Managed to secure two nights here recently and very happy we did. Rooms were lovely, staff friendly/attentive and hotel has a lovely upbeat vibe about it.

I had never stayed at an Indigo Hotel before and really liked the funky yet stylish overall design of the Adelaide Market Hotel, which incorporates Adelaide’s identity very tastefully! …

We stayed here last week for a celebration and when we walked in, we were already faced with issues. Our check in took over 20 minutes due to the guy behind the counter offering us upgrades and breakfast only to not know how to put this through. We understood this was a new place so we weren’t too put off by this.
As we entered our room, it was beautiful! The design and details were gorgeous! The bathroom was so lovely and our view was great.
When we woke up in the morning, we had breakfast, it was nice but a lot of the big breakfast was burnt unfortunately. Shortly after we went to check out. As I approached the reception, I was asked by the restaurant staff to sign a bill for breakfast… which we paid for at check in. This then started a massive issue as they were trying to charge us $53 for breakfast as well as the $50 we already paid for breakfast on the first day. After a massive dilemma, they didn’t charge us double and we left.
A few hours later, I received a phone call from the hotel asking me to pay the $53 which we thought we sorted out. I was really frustrated by this point and the lady on the phone said “I’ll talk to my manager and get back to you”, which should have been done before she called me! When she called me back she said she’d drop the charge again…..
The unprofessionalism and inexperience of the staff really made a perfect night seem so difficult and in the end was much more expensive than we originally thought it would be. We are really upset with how this went down and we hope the staff are able to be better service in the future.

Fabulous staff, friendly, happy and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful.
Fabulous suite, two rooms in the south Eastern corner with great views towards the city and hills. Lovely bathroom with nightlight and cuddly soft bathrobes. Extremely comfy bed and blackout curtains making it easy to have a lovely sleeping on Sunday morning.
Fabulous Merrymakers rooftop bar with fabulous food - small plates to share very seafood based snd a fantastic wine and cocktail list.
Highly recommended and lovely to have a hotel down in this area of Adelaide, near the Central market, tram and restaurant scene in Gouger Street and China town.

Stayed in the Indigo Suite with balcony. Loved the funky decor, and the attention to detail. Fantastic views. Quality appliances & amenities. The bed & pillows were super comfy, and we were happy that the curtains blocked a lot of light. Had a minor issue with room service, but understand that being only 2 weeks in, there is bound to be some teething problems. Would definitely stay again.

Funky boutique hotel in a great location with attentive friendly staff, comfortable rooms and outstanding breakfast, what more could you want? We stayed for 3 nights in a room with separate living area on the 13th floor. Views of CBD, and literally a stones throw from the markets and local restaurants. Will definitely return on our next holiday in Adelaide.

The styling for this brand new hotel is fantastic, with beautiful arches built to compliment the architecture of nearby Adelaide markets on the ground floor/mezzanine and quirky artsy touches in the rooms. The rooftop bar had a nice atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The hotel itself is in a great location, a short walk to Adelaide central market and Chinatown. For breakfast try Market Street Cafe just next door.

I stayed here on the official opening night and I was not disappointed! Upon arrival to the hotel I was kindly greeted by Thomas the General Manager and offered a nice glass of Sparkling Rosé along with a detailed explanation of the hotel and all of it's architectural design features down to the finer details about why staff members were wearing a particular pin with their uniform.
The contemporary design features of Hotel Indigo rival all other hotels in Adelaide. You really feel like you are immersed in the local area and they have definitely lived up to that expectation.
The hotel room itself was excellent! Very comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. The highlight for me would have to be the rooftop pool on level four. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed on the night but I look forward to returning very soon to try this out!
I would 100% recommended this hotel on your next trip to Adelaide! 👌🏼

Excellent service, great food. Rooftop bar is worth a visit (book ahead). Suite room has great views (level 11) to the South West. Room is excellent other than the bathroom mirror needs more light. We coped 😉
