Really not too bad. In the heart of Adelaide, meaning its close to everything. Reasonable prices. Fantastic service, really great bar/restaurant. Really good selection of movies!
The only thing I did not appreciate was how much sound is made from all the doors slamming. But would I stay here again? Yes. Thanks for a good weekend

We stayed 4 nights over 2021 Christmas at ibis Adelaide. Staffs are super friendly and professional. Our room is clean and modern, and has great view. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance to the hotel. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in Adelaide.
M. A.
Nice simple room that served its purpose.
I took up the breakfast option which had nice variety and reasonable food. Not the best of coffee but still a quick hassle free way to start the day.
R. B.
Great place to stay in Adelaide city.
Walking from the shops and a lot of amazing restaurants.
The hotel restaurant was serving food even on Christmas which was absolutely wonderful.
Great staff. the rooms are not too big but ok for a2-3 days stay

Good hotel for a couple of nights stay. Don't trust the vending machines though, they have a habit of not dispensing the items you've paid for, quite an inconvenience. There aren't sufficient vegan options on their restaurant menu. However, it's conveniently located near many other food outlets.

After a disastrous start to the evening where we had no where to go for dinner, we walked in with a group of 10 people at around 8.30pm and they couldn't be more accommodating. Table was set up quickly, drinks were brought out quickly and food was lovely. Service was great, they never rushed us even though it was late.
K.
Really lovely room with a cracker view. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were gracious. Would recommend and stay again.
A. G.
We loved staying here for two nights! The Queen corner room was modern, clean, comfortable and had a great view. It was quiet at night and had great block out curtains. Service was lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Fantastic location, great value for money. Would definitely stay again!
D. M.
Staff were friendly and helpful! We were treated by them so well!!! Clean rooms. Buffet breakfast has good variety and was delicious. The view from our room was amazing!! We could see the beautiful Adelaide Hills. The hotel is close to all the major tourist attractions. Will defo stay here again when we come back to Adelaide.

The hotel and amenities were good, restaurant staff were great.
Reception staff weren't particularly approachable and were standoffish at times. These staff weren't really helpful with simple enquires instead becoming defensive.
Information about parking is misleading and if you would like to use your car while there, it is considerably more expensive than the booking website's quoted price.
Be prepared to pay a bond. There is nothing wrong with this, but it isn't listed on booking websites.

My partner and I went to the ibis hotel last weekend for a little romantic getaway and spent 2 nights there. Not a lot to fault really, I just think they might benefit from expanding their restaurant menu as well as the room service menu, the food was absolutely delicious though. The restaurant is gorgeous and the room we stayed in was nice and tidy. Some staff members in the morning seemed a little… rude, in our opinion. Called up for breakfast on the first morning and we got down ten minutes later to be told the food we paid extra for… was cold. The lady informed us the food was cold when we collected it, I know the hotel gets busy but I think paying guests should get a little more respect, it’s not that hard to quickly reheat something if it’s gone cold and we did try to rush down to the restaurant after placing our room service order. TV had trouble connecting to our phones/laptop. This place is gorgeous though and absolutely worth the stay. So close to everything and right in the heart of the city. Would definitely return ☺️ Just a little couple faults that didn’t effect the stay that negatively.

Thanks to the SA Gov $100 voucher I have been lucky enough to stay here 5 times. Friendly staff, clean rooms and nice and quiet. So close to everything you need for a great weekend in the city.
R. D. M.
Great staff always friendly at the reception. Rooms clean and tidy. Only down fall is the restaurant doing breakfast and dinner only. Buffet breakfast could do with more variety though for $28 .
Will stay again
A. L.
The staff at reception were so lovely and helpful. Really clean rooms. Everything for a quick business trip.
G. S.
This place is in perfect location and so surprised that the rooms are very spacious and clean compared to the Ibis in Sydney. All staff were most welcoming and the price was affordable. I will definitely be back.
R. G.
Great place to stay, friendlt staff, car parking close to hotel, clean room, comfy bed, nice lookout over city. Breakfast and dinner were great.
Easy walking distance to attractions. Will stay again
M. B.
Room was compact but very nice and clean, the bed was quite comfortable. All amenities were there, could have done with extra tea coffee and milk.
J. M.
Clean rooms happy staff and great location. Oh best of all great price .Give them a go not the Ritz but worth every cent.
K. L.
Excellent hotel, right in the city centre. Smallish rooms but hey your looking for a comfortable bed ? Right! Would stay again without hesitation.
M. L.
Well, what can I say? Excellent room, great view of the city and Adelaide Hills.
As it was my birthday, they had a chilled bottle of champagne waiting (thank you, that was wonderful). We relaxed watching flicks from their extensive in-house selection of latest movies, then ordered in. Unfortunately, they had run out of the Salt & Pepper Squid, but the alternative (Schnitzel) was very nice.
Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Adelaide. It was a nice room with a comfortable bed. Had issues connecting my phone and tablet to the TV and ended up just using my tablet to watch streaming content. Other than that my stay was very pleasant.

My partner and I stay for 2 nights, check in was really good with the gentleman that served us was really nice and helpful 'sorry i don't remember your name' we were super happy with the room, bed was comfy, sheets were nice, towels were clean and replaced after one night, the only thing that let our stay down was the food, when i booked online i booked for 2 people, on our first breakfast we got our 2 meals which we got the 'hot plate' i think it was called, it should be called lukewarm plate, scrambled eggs were cold so was everything else, the only thing that was hot was the toast, on our final day of breakfast we apparently only had 1 person booked for breakfast, but we had 2 booked on the day before, the food was a little bit better though. the staff in the bar/floor didn't really have any urgency to speak to us or seat us
P. J.
This place is in a great location. Nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. I only stayed 2 nights and already had dinner plans elsewhere so didn't get a chance to check out the food options but will definately be staying here again on my next visit to Adelaide!
K. C.
Great location close to everything in the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds comfy and good water pressure.
R. F.
Came in with a group of 10 with no booking at 8:20 and had an excellent experience. Catered amazingly and the food was amazing! Would highly recommend!
L. M.
Comfortable clean rooms beds are very comfortable. Staff are exceptional. We always stay at this hotel when trVelling to Adelaide
L.
Love it , had a great day in Adelaide city 🏙
The reception staff are amazing and so helpful
A wine bottle for my daughters birthday 🍷 and chocolate 🍫
Diff entry will come again

We stayed in the superior twin room facing the hills. The view was stunning. The room was exceptionally clean.
We had breakfast which was fabulous. We are suburb dwellers that will definitely stay at the Ibis next time there is a city event to attend.
T. P.
We found the check-in to be more like an induction than a welcome. Instructions were given, which I guess is a symptom of COVID 19, but a little warmth wouldn't have gone a miss. The first breakfast was more of the same, but after the initial induction things became a little friendlier.
The room was very small with precious little storage for your stuff, but a safe and fridge were included. The bed was very comfortable.
We had parking included which is accommodated in the Rundle Shopping Centre a couple of doors away. It seemed secure enough but it was implied that only one in/out a day was permitted. You ask for a pass out from the desk.
The hotel is well located in the centre of town close to shops and restaurants. It's very walkable or maybe you could grab one of the rental electric scooters that litter the footpath wherever the previous user decides to abandon them.
There's a restaurant in the hotel and the other usual extras, although we thought the added benefit of a laundrette in house might be good for travellers on a road trip.
The hotel was great value for us, included cooked breakfast was good but could have been a bit hotter. So on the whole the Ibis was perfect for our short break and we would use it again.
H. A.
Smooth check in and check out process. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Staff were well mannered and the hotel was well maintained. However, the food is overpriced for the level of quality that is served at breakfast and dinner. In all, thank you for a great stay.
C. D.
My stay here was fantastic! The room was clean and perfect for a couple of nights. The hotel is very conveniently located being right behind Rundle Mall, close to sites like the SA Museum and Art Gallery of South Australia, and near to public transport. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay great. The breakfast buffet that was included was also great value.
C. P.
Affordable, clean, comfy, pleasant lounge areas. Would stay here even over the Intercontinental which I have heard terrible customer service stories. Convenient vending machines with many goods on the floors.
T.
Great service, clean room. Loving the stay.
D. C.
It's a fantastic hotel to stay at. The customer service is top notch. Rooms are clean, tidy and include a safe for valuables. There's a dedicated bar on Lvl 1 and a small gym with treadmills, cycles and basic weights.
It's well priced and is located in a nice part of Adelaide. Close to some great restaurants and cafes, the galleries and parklands.
W. K.
Comfortable bed and utilitarian rooms located in a prime location in the city.
D. K.
The room was on the smaller size but I have stayed with Ibis previously so it is to be expected, tidy for the most part and beds made daily. Laundry was clean and operational, vending machines on each floor you can pay using your room key. Restaurant was modern but the breakfast was a bit hit or miss, sometimes stuff was cold and the staff seemed distracted - getting the order wrong etc. consistently during the visit.
V. “. B.
Thanks IBIS for a great hotel stay. Great location. The bed was super comfy. The pressure was good in the shower. The bar was only great to have pre dinner drinks, as for breakfast, they were super slow, I finished my meal before my coffee came. I would recommend more staff are put on during these times, as two people can not keep up, more toilet paper is supplied in the room, there was less than a 1/4 left on the roll and none in the room, had to go to reception to get more and that two towels are provided per person in the room, especially if rooms are not been serviced unless asked.
O. T. A.
Lovely hotel friendly staff, nice breakfast and a fantastic location. Would highly recommend , also very reasonable price.
S. T.
Once again stayed at IBIS Adelaide, what great service, nothing was a challenge to the staff, true hospitality. So convenient location. Will definitely book again.
D. H.
Great hotel in a great location. Very clean and comfortable room. Efficient and friendly staff. Vending machines on each floor were greatly appreciated for a late night snack and cold water. Easy convenient car parking close by for a great price. We totally enjoyed our stay I do recommend and would stay here again. Excellent value for money.
J. &. S. B.
We had 2 rooms staying total of 5 nights. Great locations, beds are comfy. Rooms are small but ok for seeing the city. Only comment is don’t bother with breakfast. Coffee is really bad, food was very inconsistent. Bar does happy hour which is good. Also hotel does not have its own parking. If you park on the street remember to check the parking signs, download the app as we got fined at 8.24am. Parking started at 8. If your going out everyday then it’s cheaper to park on the street. Even with the fine our parking was cheaper than the nearby parking block
G. C.
These rooms are so well designed. Not big rooms but so well designed. Everything you need and simple. For businesses travel I really recommend Ibis hotels as a super practical option and cost effective.
This Ibis backs onto Rundle St mall so it is pretty well located.
R. G.
Excellent hotel in central Adelaide. Very convenient location, good hotel amenties and great service.
P. W.
Nice rooms, friendly staff.
d. g.
Considering the pice $140 per night , it was a good deal. In the room there was not much at all, no drinks, food and any extra was not included.
No parking , you have to park next door , to a car park ($23 per night).
Also the room was perfect for a great fit for an elderly person or someone with disability.
The shower does not have boundaries and does not drain well so after a shower the bathroom was wet everywhere.
Anyway it is okay 👌
J. C.
We stayed here and were very content with most facilities. Rooms are new, clean and well serviced. Staff were helpful and quick. We didn't get a chance to dine in the hotel but we are sure it would be of good quality.
N. J.
Quick check on thanks to the friendly professional front desk agent, Mel. Clean room, noisy ac when on high with faint traffic but not deafening. Room was facing south so good urban views. Comfortable bed, strong water pressure with loads of hot water and central location. Would return again when in town. Thanks Ibis.
J. J.
Rooms are a bit small but great location and reasonable rates
T. L. R.
Small but very comfortable room with all the expected amenities including tea, coffee, air con, room service, laundry and gymnasium. The facilities are very clean and all of the staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel restaurant food is tasty and a good price, not over-inflated prices like you find at many other Hotels. I thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay and am happy to recommend it to travellers.
J. C.
Room had stains on the carpet, the bathroom sink was cloged and the shower head was leaking, I'm aware that this is a budget hotel, though, still paying for facilities to work...
The bed was very comfortable.
L. J.
Compact but very comfortable room. Very clean. Great location. One night break thanks to State Government initiative but would definitely recommend. Only issue would be the noise from Grenfell Street as they did after hours street work. Thankyou
J. L.
Great central location with plenty of restaurants and bars within a 10-15min walk. The room was clean, bed comfortable and area to store luggage.
Z. C.
Nice rooms. But would off like some tea/coffee up in the room, Evan a bottle of water would off been nice. Food was great and staff very friendly.
L. W.
Great location, really close to rundle mall if you want to go shopping, or eat at the many restaurants in close proximity. The room was a good size for a weekend away, bathroom was spacious, TV worked well and we enjoyed the free movies on offer. The view from our room was spectacular. I made a note that it was our wedding anniversary and we were delighted to be given a hills facing room on the top floor as well as a card/gift from the manager. Lovely personal touch. For the price this was an excellent stay, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would even consider staying overnight just to go shopping on a sunday!
D. B.
Nice staff, they really do all they can to help. Rooms are clean and comfirtable but very loud. You can hear the street even on the top floor, I cannot inagine the noise on the second floor. Breakfast is just a big no no, don't eat there. There is some other options around.
a.
Great hotel to stay at. Considering the price, the rooms and facilities are great. The staff are brilliant, they're all brilliant, accommodating people. We'll be back!
J. B.
Have stayed here a few times now and this has become our “go-to”. Great views, location, friendly staff and very consistent. Couldn’t fault it really. Highly recommend for a city getaway
L. M.
Amazing service at reception upon our arrival! Room was fresh, clean and modern. Great location as it's walking distance from cafes, restaurants, bars, parks and shops.
C. C.
The room, the location and the reception was awesome! 10 out of 10! The lady who worked on 28/12 morning in the restaurant was the WORST waitress ever! She ignored me since I was there, even people who came after me got served first and she was rude to me. My wonderful staying experience just ruined right after I checked out.
5 stars for the whole hotel, minus 2 stars for that particular food and beverage attendant. If I come back to Adelaide, I’ll definitely stay with ibis Adelaide but I’ll go nowhere near the restaurant.
G. T.
Great location restaurant has great value meals
J. C.
Very comfortable bed and modern room with all facilities - as good as any high quality hotel. It has a nice little bar and gym. The front staff are nice. You have to ask for a bag of coffee, tea milk etc. before you go up.
The food attendant at breakfast ignored us on arrival but they were very short staffed with only one person. The avocado spread on the toast was a bit turned, so we suggest you take a walk to a nearby cafe or for lunch or dinner to the fabulous Amalfi’s!
There is no pool but it is great value for money and is at a great location next to the beautiful period Adelaide Arcade and Rundle Mall.
L. C. S.
Front desk is really accommodating and helpful. Location is awesome. Parking is across the street so make sure to unload everything you need before parking.
Room is clean. Restaurant is still close due to pandemic but they are serving meals, (call and pick up).
T. “. A.
Ok... sooo this is night 1 of 2, and I am still to sample the imcluded brekkie tomorrow morning. But already, this place is top notch. The room is so luxurious and spacious with a great view. The Bar/Restaurant area... 🤤🤤🤤🤤 (night 1 Parma and yup so good have ordered 2nds. 😈). Staff... so friendly, helpful and professional. Nope, no matter how I try I simply havent found a single thing wrong. (Despite actually looking). Oh and I gotta mention and add a bonus star for the Vending machine outside my room which includes your usual goodies + an assortment of adult beveridges. (True Japanese.Style 😁) Yup. Will admit it, this place is as near to perfect as any hotel I have ever stayed at.
Did I mention the location. 😳 Walking distance to.premium shopping and food area and parks and attractions like Museum, Art Gallery, Zoo.
U. C.
GREAT SERVICE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL CLOSE TO SHOPS HIGHLY RECOMMEND
R.
Management is good ...well the front staff James is a good man , attentive and kind.
Kitchen was closed so no comments
The room view was beautiful but the room itself 2 star ...
Not impressed at all ...
Only James gets 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
C. M.
Rooms are clean but compact. Modern and comfortable. If you are after a conviennent affordable low frills accommodation, this is the place

My wife and I stayed at the Ibis Adelaide over the Adelaide Cup weekend. We found this hotel excellent for our purposes - central to the city, walking distance to the places in and around Adelaide we wanted to see, and with plenty of public transport options.
The hotel itself was very good - extremely clean, very well maintained, and provided everything we needed. The hotel staff were cheerful and very helpful, and I couldn't ask for more.
Would very happily stay here, or at other Ibis hotels, in future, on the basis of our stay. We felt we got excellent value for money.
K. P.
Friendly staff, spotless & comfotable room. Great price & location. Best wi-fi I have ever had in a hotel! Definitely recommend.
E. “. W.
Great service, Staff brilliant. Rooms very clean. But only 3 stars only because rooms are to small. But for $89 great value. More business trip type room than holiday.
M. N.
Very good hotel for a budget cost! Soft and comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. Nice assortment of drinks, additional pillows and a very quick lift to get to the higher floors. Friendly staff on the front desk too. Only things to note would be that our bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guests and there was quite a lot of noise from other rooms and the corridor. The blackout blind however, was amazing!
c. w.
Lovely clean rooms and reasonably priced. Central to everything. All staff helpful and pleasant.
Q. L.
Having stayed here quite a few times now for work trips, I can say that ibis Adelaide is a consistent standout for busy travellers. You'll note that the photos taken are of different rooms; this is how often I stay here and how consistently fantastic the experience is, on all floors!
Well appointed rooms, convenient onsite gym and close proximity to everything makes this a no brainer for business and leisure travellers alike. 10/10.
P. B.
First tip: know that the parking is not at the hotel. And it is a separate fee.
Second tip: the tea and coffee making facilities are handed to you in a paper bag
Third tip: there is no mini bar. And the Coke style machine in the hall outside the room around the corner that has the mini bar items was virtually empty.
This is not the definition, imo, of a 4 star hotel.
The view? The dirty side of other buildings.
Nuff said.
C. S.
Hotel Ibis Adelaide is a great place to stay. Its location is oustanding and is walking distance to many city attractions. The hotel is great value and the food and service is outstanding . The staff make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Happy hour is a highlight and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We will stay there again when we next visit. A wonderful base for our Adelaide holiday.
D. K.
My room was basic, with a view of roofs and airconditioners, but I didn't expect or need a better view for this stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean and the bathroom and shower were excellent. My dinner steak was cooked perfectly medium rare although I will say the chef has an eccentric mix of tastes in some parts of a meal. Breakfast was average but plentiful. The service all around was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is beautifully sited in town.
N.
Excellent service. The lady behind the counter gave us heaps of tips for exploring Adelaide. They also sent our room a complimentary champagne when they found out it was our anniversary! (Thank you Amelia Pike). Our room was spacious and the hotel location is perfect.
K. &. J. E.
Pretty cheap hotel but definitely have a great service. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. Bed is really comfy and we must say if you're planning to save up some money but still want to sleep comfortably, we suggest you should book your room here. :) Food was okay but rooms are quite small. Overall, it's still a great place to stay when you're on a vacation. Location wise, this is the place we recommend.
F. C.
The hotel was well kept, modern and located in a fantastic location. The in house restaurant is surprisingly good and if you have an accorplus membership, it's great value.
The rooms aren't large, which is expected at the price range. My only negative is that their queen sized bed seem to be smaller than normal. I raised this with their front desk during my stay and management after. They assured me they are queen sized bed but probably the first my feet extended over the edge of the bed by a tiny bit and I'm under 180cm in height.
Overall great value for money and I'm likely to return.
G. S. G. S.
Central to everything good in the heart of Adelaide ! Rooms were a touch small for the price ( standard double) .No toaster or microwave for heating any snacks bought during the day to take back and eat for dinner..Restaraunt meals were good and of reasonable price.
C. B.
I enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, new and adequate to our needs. Although small in size it didn't feel claustrophobic with the floor to ceiling window and carefully chosen furniture. The location was convenient and in an area close to show and eating places. There was an issue with the window blind not opening and once reported, someone fixed it within 5 minutes. What amazing customer service! I would stay here again.
S. C.
Stayed here for one night only on business trip, but this is my second time here and it’s served me well both times. Good value for money, love the location (close to Rundle Mall and relatively quiet place) and the staff here were welcoming and friendly. Close by to Coles so you can get snacks or drinks. I stayed on the 16th floor (highest level) and the view out was excellent, I could see Adelaide Hills from a distance.
C. G.
Nice stay, great for a couple of nights. Staff were lovely. Good location in CBD.
M. G.
Clean and modern. Service was good, early check in (11am) was no problem and no extra cost. Good location in CBD.
T. W.
We had great customer service from checking in, throughout our whole stay. The lady that checked us in gave us fantastic recommendations to eat/drink and winery tours in barossa, and was extremely helpful. The hotel was in the perfect location. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable. We had a superior room, but the room was still very small. I would recommend others to stay here, but only for a night or two. Anything more, the room would be far too cramped and small.
H. 2.
Stayed here for my birthday. Room wasn’t too big but just perfect for two of us. It was also very new and clean. Service was great. My husband requested a fruit platter surprise for me, and it was there when we entered the room. What a lovely surprise. Will definitely stay here again.
T. M.
Highly recommend this hotel! 5/5 A++++The rooms were EXTREMELY clean and modern/chic. Nice ambiance and felt very welcoming.Everything at the hotel was very well-maintained and the locating was strategic— smacked right in the city. The …
J. H.
Lovely room, great value and very central...and most importantly.. quiet! Bonus points for having an 11am check out time.
M. G.
Quite nice for the price. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and well-located right in the heart of the city. Easy walk to Ayer House, botanical garden, museums, the Arcade and the Mall.
Their restaurant was closed for renovations, so we got buffet breakfast at the nearby Pullman, and it was fantastic.
No complaints!
S. Y.
Modern, clean, no frills hotel. Easy for business guests who want a central Adelaide location. Bed is comfortable and showers are clean (no bathtub - yay!). WiFi is generally fast and customer service was friendly and efficient. Casey from the front desk actually came up to troubleshoot a WiFi issue I was having. Will definitely come back.
s. a.
Very nice but small rooms
K. W.
Fair price with the room quality. All good except the bathroom sink has a bit blockage made the water drainage really slow
D. a. M. N.
I found the staff extremely friendly and warm. The hotel services staff were lovely and did a great job. I received a great view as I had asked for. The security idea of the lift I thought as exceptional.
The only thing I would like a little better was the hot breakfast could have been hotter, but the selection to choose from was extremely good.
A. B.
Wonderful, as mentioned. From the moment we entered the spacious foyer off of Grenfell Street we felt welcome. Neeru at the reception desk was helpful and attentive, with lovely smile and a professional and courteous manner. Our room on the 12th floor was clean and functional with views out to the hills from the large window. Housekeeping were efficient and unobtrusive, allowing us plenty of time to get ready in the mornings. We had breakfast at the restaurant on the Sunday of our stay and it was of the quality one would expect, as well as being very good value for money. When we asked at the front desk regarding the check out time we were offered a complimentary "late checkout" beyond the 11am. However, due to our flight schedule we were unable to take up this offer. My birthday occurred during our stay and at check-in I mentioned this was part of the reason for our visit to Adelaide. Upon returning to our room after a day out I was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and two glasses chilling in an ice bucket in our room, along with a birthday card from the hotel manager.
L. S.
The staff at reception were very helpful and cheerful. We had a corner room, which although small, is so cleverly designed, we didn't feel the slightest bit cramped, and we had great views in two directions. The bed was very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was first rate. Very nice buffet breakfast too. We only had one small problem - one of the window blinds refused to come down (and we forgot to mention it to the staff on the way out).
This is a terrific place for a short stay in the city - close to everything and well priced.
C. W.
Great staff
And budget friendly great position near the mall
D. R.
Fast and friendly check-in. I love the rooms in this hotel as they are full of light. A bench runs right along the window making a great work space with plenty of room to spread out. Good bed and pillows. Shower is nice and hot and easy to adjust. Parking is in a public car park a few doors up with good sized spaces - very easy to use. Walk down a short lane to Rundle Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance
J. C.
Really Lovely Place to Stay
J. H.
Central location but the windows are super thin so the construction noise, motor bikes, and general traffic noise pours in, even up this high. The gym however is pretty sweet. Each machine has a touch screen with internet and TV as well as USB input to watch your own show. Side note may not be an issue but it was annoying none the less, my room card failed twice in one day making me trek back to the front desk to get it reset. Not a show stopper, just a pain.
E. N.
Very close to everything in the city. The staff were lovely and very accommodating!! Easy check in and check out. Very helpful and go above and beyond to help!!! Room was very clean and neat bathroom was clean. Very happy with my stay! It was affordable and easy location to get to and from. I would defiantly stay again when i head down next.
K. G.
I have stayed at the Ibis on three occasions. Good modern clean rooms at a great price. However they really shone on my last visit when there was an issue with my room at 3:00am. They quickly sought to rectify the issue, and when it was discovered they couldn't they quickly found me a new room, and provided complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. A brilliant job done. A+ staff.
A. J.
The bed was comfortable. The receptionist was so nice and caring. They always greet us every time we went out and come back. The environment was good. The view that we got was so calm and beautiful.
However, about the housekeeping. The room was not fully clean whenever they come to make up the room. They only make up the bed. But not really clean up the floor. But the housekeeper was nice and friendly like all the staff in the hotel.
Overall about my stay in this hotel was very delightful .
R. R.
I enjoyed my stay in my room although a little small it was nice.
I would prefer a different range of beers.
Also it was unusual to not have room service, i would normally expect room service.
I like the view from my room. The blinds were good they blocked out sunlight light well.
the food was was nice.
M. P.
Loved everything about the room, the room price, amenities and the staff at the front desk checking in and checking out as well as the breakfast buffet were all exceptional.
The hotel is perfectly located with Rundle mall and North Terrace with all the museums, hospital and university within a stone's throw away.
The company is highly responsive to feedback. I was really taken by surprise with their rapid response to some feedback to improve an aspect of their bathroom from both the hotel General Manager and the COO for Ibis. Well done.
R. S.
Very clean and tidy, the customer service is very friendly. I love staying at ibis Adelaide.
A. H.
Small rooms compared to most places, but good use of space, so don't really need a large room. Modern and comfortable. Close to Rundle mall and shops. Skip the buffet breakfast, as it's not good. Lots of great places to get breakfast nearby.

The rooms are so neat and clean. I have stayed at 5 star hotels previously for visits to Adelaide, but this stay with ibis has been the friendliest and most welcoming. The rooms are extremely well designed to ensure every space is well utilised. My only complaint is there is no suitable power points for my laptop as they're obstructed for larger adaptors. Staff are exceptionally friendly.
B. M. R.
The service was excellent and the room was tidy, clean and at an outstanding standard. I was really happy staying with Ibis hotel in Adelaide. I also want to thank Qantas for relaying me to such a high standard accommodation service. The service was really very good and your staff members are polite, cooperative and supportive. Thank you for making my stay with my daughter easy and relaxed. I will be your customer hereafter. I will also tell others to use your best facilities.

I'm a repeat customer, I find Ibis modern, clean, functional and well thought out. It generally has everything I've needed and the staff have always been helpful when it comes to attaining any services they don't provide. I prefer the self help style facilities they do provide. I'd like to see a few more simple menu options available particularly on the 24/7 menu after getting in late I'm looking for simple comfort food. I'd also like to see a fridge with additional milk varieties for sale in the restaurant area to supplement the standard issue in the room fridge. The room service staff and front desk staff where unfailingly polite and helpful, I'd go so far as to say exceptionally good and certainly convinced me I'd made the correct choice in Ibis. If I had one issue it was a bit disappointing to find that after enjoying the magnificent hot chocolate sachets in the room we then had to go cold turkey until the next day. Well done Ibis, you're doing an excellent job.

Great service very helpful. Nice and clean, bed is very comfortable we had a good sleep. The location is just right in side city. So you can east to go anyway you like without car. There are many parking place near by, I did research online so I didn’t use the hotel deal. Otherwise you can pay $22 for onc entry per time or $33 for many entry per day. Recommend you do the research before you park. Overall I really like the place and they also join me as a member so we can check out late which is extra star.
Ps : You can charge your phone through the table lamp

The people here have been nothing but amazing to me. To offering me a better room, to extending my check out time, too letting me know anything about the hotel so i wasnt left in the dark; but most of all improving my stay not because it was their job but because I had decent human beings looking after me. Thank you Ibis! Would definteliy choose you amongst other hotels again, thanks to the wonderful ladies at your reception. :)

We stayed in room 408 and this room was clean and comfy to stay in. It doesn't have the best of views as you are looking at the next hotel/building next door but not a big thing if you are just staying for the night.
The bathroom needs to have a shower cap added to the amenities. I've had to ask twice now for one. The soap holder in the shower was rusty and not in a good condition but apart from those 2 small things, the room was great for a night in the city at a very cheap price aswell.
The bed was comfy but the pillows were a bit too soft and small. Need better pillows for the room.
M. B.
Just what I needed; arrived earlier than expected but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A vacant room was allocated and it was great. Blackout blinds that actually worked, meaning I could catch up on sleep before heading out into town. Self service laundry on 2nd floor to catch up with clean clothes; quality complimentary toiletries, very comfortable bed. Cleanliness superb. Highly recommended

We were extremely satisfied to stay with you especially seeing we were booked in at a different place but it was so run down and nothing worked (in short a disaster) so we checked out and came to Ibis because we stayed there at the beginning of our holiday and we enjoyed it so decided to come back. Our room was clean and tidy, all the appliances worked, and we were very comfortable, thank you. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Definitely plan on visiting again.
ps. Glad the place DIDN'T smell like bleach as some places do.

I was staying at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a business trip and was quite impressed by the look of this hotel. However, upon check-in it seemed that it was peak time with not enough staff present to assist with bookings.
After a 20min wait to be served I requested a room that was on a higher floor and in quiet location. I was given a room on the 10th floor facing the main road right above a bus station and I could still hear the noise of each bus stopping and driving on quite frequently. To which I had to then come down to the lobby again and re-wait in line to be given a new room. This time on the 5th floor facing the back but with a view of some ugly fans. This was much quieter, I didn't want to cause further issues so I just accepted this room.
The rooms themselves while small were functional, new bathroom furnishings, beds, and large TV in the room which unfortunately didn't have any cable TV channels. I had wi-fi included in my room so used that quite alot and found it to be really fast and suited my personal needs.
I attempted to eat at the restaurant/bar on one of the nights for dinner but the restaurant was closed due to private function till 8.30pm (of which no one bothered to notify guests) until you visited that floor.
The pros, is that the hotel was located in a central location and right near Rundle Mall which was good to go for a walk around in the evenings and was good value for money. The cons, I believe the customer service could be improved for future patrons.
A. B.
Staff were friendly, nice rooms, much bigger than other ibis' I have stayed at elsewhere. Nice to have a room with a view in the ibis
M. H.
The hotel is great - comfortable, roomy and I love the upper floor views. The gym is also excellent, with a nice selection of equipment for a hotel.
the only thing I could find fault with is the selection of meals from the kitchen - there aren't many healthier options - and the steak, although cooked well tends to be over salted. Back off on the seasoning and the steaks would be very nice indeed.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ibis hotel in Adelaide. I was expecting an average place, however I was surprised. My room was great (1502). It was clean and quite modern and very comfortable. The TV channel selection was excellent. I did not notice if free wifi was available. The check in and check out process was very simple and the lady that helped us was very kind.
O. T.
Surprisingly good value. We stayed here for a night and loved the hotel. The rooms were modern, clean and had a nice ambience. The only thing we didn't like is the toilet seats which are a bit small and did not cover the whole rim of the toilet.
Breakfast was not entirely amazing but it was good. There's a pretty nice selection of hot and cold food. The staff were all very professional and courteous. If you're looking for somewhere central in Adelaide then I would recommend this hotel. The ibis is very close to Rundle mall, north terrace and public transport.
S. E.
For us it was a great location. Walking distance to everything we needed.
Room was tiny however we were only staying one night so not a huge inconvenience.
No shower caps!! I think this is the first hotel I have stayed in that doesnt supply a shower cap.
The vending machine on the floor was great especially since it contained alcoholic beverages. Loved it!!!
The best asset though - the staff. From
check in staff to the bar staff to the breakfast staff everyone was FANTASTIC! I would return for them alone.
E. E.
Hotel is clean and modern. No parking facilities available so you have to park at paid parking garages, WiFi is $10 for 24hr, a kettle is the only kitchen appliance we had. We had a problem and wanted a refund on our room before we got it, they wouldn't even consider it.
Edit: Good place overall. Would recommend.
D. H.
My first stay was for 2 nights followed a week later with a 1 night stay.
The room was well appointed, and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
There were some marks on the wall I assume came from previous guests' luggage.
I enjoyed a basic breakfast of coffee and pastries. A Continental and Full Breakfast is also available.
The location was brilliant. Check-in was easy and the front office staff were very helpful with providing directions to the bus stop and bus times to travel to the airport. I arrived with a hire car and found the side portico entry very convenient for check in prior to returning the car.
I would recommend this hotel as good value for location and service.
T. J.
Reception was friendly and professional. The room was small but well organised. The views were absolutely gorgeous. The personalized service and attention to detail completely blew us away. A hand written note from Daria Felde - Front Office Manager, was well beyond our expectation and made us feel very special. A perfect night away!
K. A.
Everything was a fantastic experience from the start to end. Check in was smooth and efficient. The restaurant food quality is top notch - including breakfast which although was a standard breakfast you can find in Australia - everything was well cooked and fresh. The beds were super comfortable and check out was extremely friendly. I wish there were hotels like Ibis Adelaide here in Sydney too. I will definitely return.
D. W.
Staff are very friendly, rooms are neat and tidy, modern and comfortable. Very compact, not really anywhere to store clothes, but only staying a couple of days so that's not a big issue. The windows could do with a clean, but I guess there's not much you can do about that on a high rise building in any regular fashion.
K. E.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ibis Adelaide! All staff were very lovely. We loved the buffet breakfast each morning and had a lovely dinner one night which was a nice way for us to wind down after a long day on a tour. Coffee and hot chocolate after dinner were excellent! Our room was lovely and modern with a comfortable bed and a great view over the city. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Adelaide.
T. M.
Everything is nice and clean but toiletries is not for free. Well, $6 for toothpaste...most 4/5 star hotel offer toiletries for free though. Overall is fine, if you just stay here for like 1-3 days.
S. M.
Overall our experience was very good. We were warmly greeted on check in and the staff member (I cannot remember her name but she was from Nepal) was very efficient and helpful. The food in the dining room was very good both at breakfast and for dinner. We found the service in the mornings on weekdays left a bit to be desired. The staff were very slow clearing tables and this caused difficulty finding a table to use. One morning there were 7 tables around us that had been vacated but they remained uncleared for our entire meal (45 minutes). The weekend crew were much better. Other than this the entire stay was very pleasant and we will return in the future.
C. F.
Not the room upgrade the photo showed me when I booked.
Great size for 1 person, but can't swing a cat with 2 in the room.
C. S.
Love the location, staff is friendly, room is clean AND nice. Contrary to other reviews I found the room big enough. The meals for lunch and dinner are good. The only thing maybe is the cooked breakfast. It’s not up to
my standards. But hey. What do I know. The room is great. I’ll be back!
B. W.
If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Staff were friendly, rooms were small but that is all I needed for a work trip but lacked drawers. I love to fully unpack and not live out a suitcase but there was no were no drawers, this is the only thing that needs fixing. You cannot beat it for location, you have taxis at the front door, plenty of bus options right along Grenfell Street and easy access to the mall. Will certainly consider it again next time I travel for work.
G. W.
Good service, great check-in/check-out experience, good room (1618) - although had double/queen on my profile got 2 x single beds, quiet with good aspect, enjoyed complimentary drink as Silver member as well as complimentary bottle of water in room, complimentary unlimited wifi also very handy. Only issue I have (all IBIS ADL rooms) is the A/C button light that floods the room when dark - would be handy if there was a cover. Nothing generally but compliments given age of hotel, staff friendliness, hotel location and quality of rooms/fittings. My preferred place to stay in ADL>
L. H.
Location was great - very convenient for shopping/public transport.
Room was small - not much room between bed and wall, not much area to put clothes - no wardrobe just hangers.
Friday night someone was vacuuming the area outside our room at 7pm.
Housekeeping changed our towels everyday even though we had them hanging for re-use.
Parking Situation is not desirable - something needs to be done about it.
D. B.
Loved the position. Rooms small but adequate and spotless. Great view from large full length glass wall. Hard to find a place for the suitcases.
Puzzling why no hand towels are provided but reception happy to provide an extra towel for the purpose.
Only one cake of soap too and one bottle of water free for Accor club members. Strange when a couple are booking in.
Restaurant had a limited menu but tasty. Gluten free meals were provided when asked.
O. O.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Great views.
C. M.
It's a good location and was clean and comfortable. Staff were busy and waited a long time for things like access to the room
J. A. L.
It has all the basics - good bed, clean bathroom, good ventilation from the air conditioning, TV, and WiFi. The space was a bit smaller than other rooms I've been to but you get what you pay for.
P. H.
Very comfortable, staff were excellent. Staff were very friendly and made you feel at home. Dinner was excellent - breakfast could be better (in fact it was pretty bad). Room and bed comfortable. Wifi speed is much better than my previous visit, however I feel it could be better.
S. P.
The hotel was ideally situated, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The staff were pleasant and helpful the meal in the hotel restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. the room was very clean and serviced well everyday. I did find however, that there was no cupboard or drawer space in the room. I would not hesitate to stay at Ibis Adelaide again.
D. C.
The Hotel is situated in an awesome location. The staff are super friendly and personable, always remembering my name upon my return and always greeted with a smiling face. Nothing is a problem.
Ibis Adelaide are really trying to make their mark and they're on the right path!
The rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable and the servicing of the rooms is consistent.
My experience is mostly positive however a couple of the staff members require further training.
The dinner menu has just been recently been changed which shows just how proactive the Ibis are being...but their amazing eye fillet which was one of THE best options on the menu...has been removed. Please bring it back!
All in all a great place to stay whether for work or leisure.
Highly recommend.
D. T.
The room are splendid and very well maintained. I would say it's pretty good to stay here over night. There was a blown fuse that caused all electrical outlet to fail and it took a while for power to come back. That was one of the downfall and staff couldn't tell when it would be restored. Go if you want a great place to stay. Escape room is only 2 minutes away if you enjoy puzzles
J. L.
Good hotel in Adelaide. Great for the business traveller. In a great location for restaurants, shopping and right in the CBD. There is no internal parking, but they have an arrangement with a UPark across the road. Staff are very helpful and do an excellent job. Rooms are comfortable and clean. No mini bar, but there is a decently stocked vending machine on each floor. Can get a little busy in the mornings with lots of people checking in and out.
S. O.
Nice location room was nice no cupboard but we just left suitcases on floor
M. E.
Hotel Ibis is conveniently located on Grenfell Street only a short walk to the Rundall Mall. I stayed for work and found the rooms to be clean and adequate. There is a mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and ironingboard and iron in the room. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and the meals are reasonably priced. I would recommend the Hotel Ibis for anyone seeking a reasonable priced accommodation with average amenities
P. T.
Exceptionally clean, cosy accommodation with great views. The rooms gave the feeling of new, modern, apartment living. Situated centrally within the CBD and a stones throw to Rundle Mall, restaurants and shops. All staff were very friendly and were welcoming.
I would stay here again without hesitation.

We had originally booked the Ibis Adelaide for the previous weekend, but had to change our plans because of flight cancellations. The hotel couldn't have been more helpful and understanding! They let us cancel on short notice and we re-booked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the property location is excellent, right in the middle of Adelaide, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. All in all an excellent choice at great value for money!
J. T.
I had an extremely satisfying experience. The bed was ultra comfortable, the shower was lovely & hot; hot chocolate available, not just tea & coffee; delightful friendly staff. Only cause for concern was there seemed to be some confusion among the staff regarding who could have free breakfasts & when. Different staff told us different things.
F. G.
Good spot in Adelaide. Rooms are of good size and clean, but street is a bit noisy. Office desk facing the city is very convenient, when you're there for business.
Breakfast is reasonable and bar is not overpriced compared to the closest bars. Last but not least, staff is super friendly and efficient.
r. n.
Best value in Adelaide. Remember what you pay. Rooms and beds (queens) are small but in the best location, close to everything, super clean, great staff. I studied hard at all accommodation in Adelaide. This was the best value and they didn't let us down. Location location location.
R. B.
The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean. The linen smelt really clean. Despite the fact that it's in the city center it's a really quiet hotel. You can't hear much from outside. Beds are soft, too soft for my liking, but i prefer a firm matters.
T. S.
Great hotel!! Excellent location in downtown, close to a lot of restaurants, parks, universities and transportation to beaches. Rooms are very comfortable, service is great, restaurant at the second floor has great food options with a reasonable cost-benefit! Also, they have kiosk with computer and printer for free! I strongly recommend this hotel.
C. T.
We arrived at the hotel at 7am after a flight from Darwin. We were thinking that we would leave our bags and come back at 2pm to checkin. The wonderful Daria who was ever so kind in upgrading us to a much better room with such a wonderful view allowing us to check into the room at 7am. I can not thank Daria enough for her wonderful service you have made our day. I highly recommend Ibis Adelaide and my god the bed is so comfortable and the room is very clean. Definitely will be staying again when we visit Adelaide. Thank you again Daria
J. S.
The room is ok but only 6 coat hangers (no wardrobe) and no other drawers or cupboards so it's not equiped for anyone staying more than 1 night. I'm staying a week, and had to leave most stuff in my case. Staff are helpful and friendly. Restaurant/bar menu is limited.
j. c.
great service and team that actually cares for their customers, one of the best hotels i have stayed at in a very long time.
V. B.
New hotel feel, with friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are big, with plenty of furnishings to make for a comfortable stay. Well maintained and clean. The only downside I there is nothing stopping water from flowing all over the bathroom as it is not closed in with a bath or glass.
S. H.
As per usual, a very comfortable experience staying here. Very pleased to be met with a welcome gift for my 10th stay, it is always great to see such a responsive team at the Ibis Adelaide (I didn't realise I had stayed here 10 times!). Good management of the hotel, and friendly staff - seamless check in and check out.
S. B.
The reception staff was friendly. The room on 16th floor had a excellent view to the surrounding. It was clean and tidy. However, I can't get meal room service with calls unanswered twice. Noisy and singing guests returned at 3:30 am and disrupted my sleep.
K. E.
Great staff. Comfy beds.
M. M. (. F.
Centrally located one block from Rundle Mall. Excellent reception area and staff. Excellent bar area and staff. Excellent well appointed room. I used the level one bar dining. There was a generous range of items to choose from. My Cajun chicken was delicious. I would stay here again when it's in Adelaide.
V. T.
Not bad nice clean rooms, food good good location if you want to wonder around the city
K. C.
Friendly helpful staff. Stayed on the 16th floor this visit. Beds are comfortable. The hotel is close to public transport, Rundle Mall, trams. It’s a short walk to the train station from the hotel and the Airport bus stop is just across the road from the hotel.
w. s.
This hotel went above and beyond for me - I was staying with a large group but had to take my 4 month old separately as a later add in and also needed to book a separate room for a family member so as they could babysit. They were so accommodating with an interconnecting room for us. Yes this may not seem like much, but it was their suggestion and without any fuss. It made the whole experience so easy.
K. B.
Good staff, good room even if perhaps a little small, good view to the east, cleanliness was appreciated as too was the daily room service. Dining facilities convenient and the fare very acceptable. Have stayed with you before, would do so again.
d. p.
Our stay was fantastic. Upon arrival I was asked the reason for our stay and after informing the check in staff that it was my wife's birthday they upgraded our room. when we got to our room they had given my wife some flowers as well. It was a lovely touch and was greatly appreciated.
c. p.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would happily stay again. I was warmly greeted upon arrival, the room was clean, of a good size and a gorgeous view, the hotel is also central to everything so it's handy for my business trips.
L. E.
Absolutely amazing stuff!
I proposed to my girlfriend in April this year. And with the help from ibis hotel staff, it was incredibly a magical moment that I could never forget, I couldn't thank ibis staff enough for all there time and energy helping me plan and set up! I would definitely recommend the ibis! Thank you guys very much for all you did!
B. W.
An enjoyable experience. Close to all places I had to visit (walking). Breakfast buffet was great and included in the price. Only improvement opportunities identified were: there were 4 pillows in the room all of the same size. A bit large for my liking. For variety and choice you could have 2 at a smaller size and 2 at the bigger size. Also air con was a little noisy but didn't affect my sleep.
P. X.
room was small but very clean and had all the mod cons including a fantastic big clear easy to use TV. Bathroom well equipt. Restaurant lovely. All staff so very friendly and experienced. Loved every mnute of my stay !!!!!!
D. G.
Great location. Bed and pillows were fantastic. The shower was strong and hot. Only disappointment was that for an International Hotel Brand, there was not free WiFi in our room. We've travelled around the world and within Australia and have always had free WiFi.....very disappointing. Also, the air conditioning was noisey, so we turned it off.
N. F.
Great place. Small room (standard double bed) but perfect for needs. Clean and well presented. Nice view. Staff at front desk were very polite. Great on site restaurant.
P. D.
Great location, terrific room, but oh boy, weekend morning breakfast was a bit of a shambles.
We live in Adelaide so know location. Terrific. Reception great, rooms lovely and 'new' with lots of great features, e.g. ENOUGH accessible plug sockets. Wifi great too. Weekend breakfast was pretty awful. Constantly running out of items and seemingly ages to replace. (cooking scrambled egg shouldn't take 10 mins :-) Staff 'working hard' or rushing around a lot. No-one seemed to be 'in charge' and organising matters. And please, train staff in basics such was waiting tables, clearing them and cleaning them. That should be easy. Despite this, would certainly stay again.
L. S.
Staff were great and room was to, just didn't like the conversation when I would go out for a smoke people hanging around felt uncomfortable going out at night. However had a great stay will go back after covid19
L. B.
Don't let the name "Ibis" fool you - this is a very good hotel. Staff on check-in and check out were friendly and efficient. Of course, being an Ibis, rooms are small, but they are very new, fresh and nicely appointed. The bathroom is a decent size and more "Mercure" than "Ibis". Brianna at the front desk very helpful and friendly. With Covid-19 happening, no breakfast in the restaurant but you can do a grab-n-go to take back to your room, however I'd like to see them use wooden cutlery in the packs instead of plastic in line with Accor's environmental policy. It's a small thing that can make a difference. Other than that, one of the best Ibis you'll find anywhere. It's great.
S. M.
My experience was fantastic due to the level of professionalism and caring of the wonderful staff. Room was great for a short visit was lovely and new and fresh. Staff went out of there way to be helpful and address every need. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
S. M.
Our stay was average. The room was very small (but clean). We had no place to put our suitcases and there were no drawers for our belongings. Also we were disappointed to have no WiFi in the room. I tried to sign up for your loyalty program to get the free WiFi, but they wouldn't let me sign up at the time of check in.
This would perhaps be an adequate property for a business traveler but not for tourist travelers from overseas who are spending several weeks in country with large bags. I am traveling to Singapore this summer on a vacation trip and an Ibis property was one of my choices, based on this experience, I am going to stay elsewhere.
D. P.
Rooms whilst compact are relatively quiet but the main attraction is the locations. Just steps from the Adelaide arcade and Rundle mall allowed us to explore Adelaide by foot easily. Breakfast was a nice inclusion and made for a relaxing stay. The only slight problem was the lengthy wait times at reception with staff not overly helpful in regards to ordering transport. Aside from some staff our stay at the Ibis was fantastic and would definitely stay again.
A. P.
Check in was a breeze, very friendly service. The room was perfect size and layout with an amazing view of the Adelaide hills & the city, I think it is very much worth paying a little extra for the room with a view. The bed was perfect, the pillows all great, everything was just great! I would highly recommend the Ibis to anyone looking for a stay in Adelaide.
D. R.
Yeah this hotel is very very trendy new and the staff are friendly and helpful in every way.
One of the best things about it is that they will organise to open the car parking for you just up the road and it’s $22 a night. Parking which is quite reasonable when you think about all that all the Ibis is a good hotel and I would return there.
2. 1.
This Ibis is the finest in Australia. Ultra clean , modern, and now 5years old. Always stay here. Accor should be proud of this property. Centrally located in Grenfel Street adjacent Rundle Mall. The Sheets and bedding are a delight. Request a room if poss overlooking Hindmarsh Square. The staff are a credit always helpful. Very poular so book early. Try using tha Accor app to book, best rates guaranteed. But always check for winter or summer specials. Become an Accor Le Club member and get special rates and rewards. Enjoy.
S. O.
The staff member who checked us in (I think her name was Penelope?) was really bubbly and warm, she was a very welcome friendly face upon check-in (after flying from Melbourne) and went above and beyond to get us excited for our stay in Adelaide. Room was good, breakfast service was also good. Friendly staff - definitely the highlight.
R. J.
Nice and quiet. Very clean and close to so many places. Covid restrictions were applied but you could still get breakfast and dinner
D. S.
Very average inner city hotel. Expensive! Subject to surge pricing during stay. No room service. No bottled water. Breakfast very average. Had to clear my own table. Not worth $300+ p/n
L. N.
If you don't need to spend a lot of time lounging around in a big hotel room, the Ibis is an ideal location and hotel for an Adelaide experience, in walking distance to many sites. Smartly designed rooms with a good shower.
R. C.
Conveniently located hotel that is always clean and tidy. Possibly the best Ibis hotel in Australia given how new it is. The room did smell a little funky when I walked in but it went away after i turned on the air-conditioning.Would recommend if you're looking for a no frills business hotel and don't mind the smaller sized rooms.
J. C.
Good hotel, but room heating was too high; food far too generous.
D. A.
Stayed at the ibis Adelaide For a few nights while we were up from Sydney. We were lucky enough to be put on the 15th floor so we had a great view! Staff were amazing and so polite! The room was a decent size, clean and had everything we asked for. Would recommend this to anyone flying to Adelaide for business and pleasure because it is a great location with the shopping mall located behind it! There are some great restaurants with in a couple minute walk and the bus stop outside the hotel! The hotel also has a great breakfast buffet which I would also recommend, as well as a decently priced dinner menu!
D. W.
The receptionist was very accommodating, sorting out a late check out for me (checked in at around 2.45am after finishing work at 2.30am) and also offered me a drink (using one of my drink vouhers). The amenities were quite nice and the bed and pillows very comfortable.

Well worth paying extra for breakfast. Comfortable bed, quiet room .

I have nothing but very high praise for the staff at the Ibis Adelaide! My stay was very good from start to finish. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the bed especially great to relax in.
Everyone who you dealt with was extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble!
Special mention to the night managers Olycia and John, who went out of their way to make me comfortable and very well looked after!
I would very much recommend Ibis Adelaide and their staff, and will be staying with you again.
M. L.
Excellent budget hotel in a good location, very clean with friendly, helpful and efficient staff. My only suggestion would be hooks and shelves in the bathroom as there wasn't much space to place toilet bag and other items. Also, hooks in the room to hang clothing etc would be very handy and much appreciated for travellers.
N. G.
The place is clean and tidy but suffers from: very dirty windows for city views, no fresh milk (long life only). If you want fresh milk you have to go get it from kitchen yourself (no room service!). Skimpy on the shower soaps and toilets rolls. Only has nescafe instant coffee (yuck). Overall it's clean, tidy and ok but for the price don't go.
B. B.
Yes. The Ibis is Amazing. The birds are quite delightfully shy! Having stayed in an Ibis hotel on a previous occasion, I know they are very high quality. Long live the Ibises! 😆
M. C.
From the moment we entered the hotel, Aastha welcomed us and managed to find us a room despite being ridiculously early. She looked after us throughout our entire stay and for that my partner and I thank her. Breakfast was delicious and the Ibis kitchen and bar is as delightful as always and the rooms made smart comfortable use of the space available.

Our stay with Ibis was very good, the location was good, the rooms were clean and modern, and the included full buffet breakfast made it very good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient, the only issue was the car parking which was down the block, I don't think dragging your luggage down the street is something I'll do again, as the so called secure car parking was not secure at all!!
S. N.
Location and service were good. The room was clean. But the reception wasn’t welcoming at all. Spoke to the same girl at reception three times during my stay (4 nights) and every time she was just wanted to get rid of me ASAP. Not very professional.

Good location
Friendly team
Well priced

perfect location, lovely staff, great service, super clean and cozy accomodation, vending machines. Restaurant/Bar on 1st floor was a great option for dinner after a long day out. Both pumpkin gnocchi and mushroom risotto were delicious. Highly recommend.
C. M.
Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Cost for an extra night on short notice jumped by $200 so book in advance.
The internet was from the 90's. Locked at 5.1mbs, I could barely stream a 420p YouTube clip. For a hotel in "10gigabyte" Adelaide this needs to be addressed. Posted from my Cell. :p

The hotel is very close to the center. The rooms are basic but clean. All you need for a business visit. Walking distance to infinity of restaurants and bars. I didn't like the Wi-Fi that ou have to pay a part. I didn't like the car park also. It was situated in a building oposite the hotel, and you need to cross a 4 lines busy street with you luggage to make it to the car park. Also it was a bit complicated because some areas you can only park few hours, so you need to know where to park. It was quiet expensive because the hotel offer you one entry and one exit for 10 dollars. It mean you can only take the car out once for this price, then you need to pay again. The other offers I think was 20 dollars (not sure) with multiple entries.
The staff were competent and helpful. They got a "speedy check in line" that I think is a terrible thing to have in a hotel. But for the rest it is a good place and I may be back if needed.

Great team, great room! Situated in the heart of Adelaide, so is a great place to start your adventures here.

Excellent convenient location. Only one street away from Rundle Mall! They were very quick to respond to our housekeeping needs and immediately attended to us. Friendly concierge and a great view included. Its a pity they didn't have a pool but their rain showerhead made up for that. The only thing we could fault was one dirty small towel but we just put it aside so it wasn't a big deal at all. Would definitely love to stay there again!
J. P.
A very modern and luxurious room for the price. A great spot to stay if you want to be located in the CBD.
G. S.
I booked for three nights to watch the Socceroos from Sydney.
In dot point:
- Clean and good smelling room
- Towels and hair dryer option available
- Complimentary coffee a nice gesture
- Good space to hang clothes
- Functional computers with printer great additional extra - had to use it to print off tickets
- Good location
Only drawback - deducting $50 per night? Other hotels hold onto the cash (I was told that this took longer?) Either way, an extra administrative burden that made little sense
I'll revisit with friendly staff and great location - thank you.

After traveling weekly to Adelaide weekly for some time I've managed to stay in most Accor hotels. IBIS was definitely the surprise performer with its great servce, for a value price. The hotel is modern and well operated with its unique dining service (think uber eats for your hotel room) and 'convenience' vending machine (which replaces a stocked minibar). The rooms are not the largest, and many comforts such as bathtub and wardrobe space are sacrificed for more rooms at a lower cost. I will highly recommend this hotel and keep it as one of my pocket favorites for staying in Adelaide City!

Recently stayed for 3 or 4 nights ;)
Gr3at Vibe, Felt Very Comfortable Trading on different Timezones . Nice Air Con minimal yet effective decor! Awesome up to date Samsung Smart Tech TV in rooms to hook up devices, and for sleeping in the heat during the day cool black block out blinds. Minimal but Plush!
Close to Nightlife Whe Adelaide has Any.. Fat Controller was Sweet though.
Thanks Guys, definitely recommending to interstate and OS friends.

The hotel is well placed and always has excellent counter staff. Breakfast has a great variety of choices and the food is always good quality. The express check-out makes it effortless to check out in the morning and avoid any potential waiting in queues.

We requested a quiet room and away from the lifts and our request was met. the Ibis Adelaide is meant to be a budget hotel, but we do not see it as a budget hotel. the rooms are well appointed including the bathroom with a nice big modern shower, the beds are very comfortable also and this Hotel is great value for money.. As locals, We often stay here, the hotel is in a great location and good for an overnight stay if you are attending a concert, catching up with fiends or family and wish to have a few drinks and don't want to drive home. If you are having dinner in the hotel order the eye fillet steak with a choice of sauces, it's to die for. one of the best steaks in Adelaide. It's a shame the eye fillet steak is no longer available on their dinner menu, which has changed since my last stay and of course since the covid-19 pandemic.

Way better than the usual basic Ibis, very modern and clean, there is in room safe, iron & ironing board and hair dryer. The free WiFi seems very fast, you must re-login with room info every 24 hours. Gym & Laundry on 2nd floor, coin-op'd, $4 for wash with self dispensing soap, $4 for dryer.
Staff very friendly and helpful. They are happy to arrange rental car with Budget and gets corporate rates, they can drop off and pick up car to/from hotel.
Lift is controlled by proximity room card, you must tap card in lift to select your floor. There are 3 very large lifts, and they move very fast.
The only shortcoming is lack of parking. There is virtually no street parking. You can use the street parking for free overnight in Hindmarsh Square around the corner, but you must move the car by 8am. During week days business hours, some parks are 1/2P, some are 3P. You must purchase a ticket unless you have an Australian or New Zealand mobility card, mobility card holders can park in any ticketed parks without purchasing a ticket.
The arrangement with parking building a few doors away next to Rundle Place is $20 per exit. The parking building across the road charges $30 a day with multiple exits.
Location is brilliant, Rundle Mall is only couple of minutes right behind the hotel. You can walk through side street or Arcades to get through, then through other arcades to get to North Terrace.

From the time of booking till departure. .wonderful. all staff and hotel lovely. Was happy with all staff and in particular Daria at reception best ever Ibis p r son on phone and at the desk and Ross at bar very socialable and helpful about adelaide. ...
A. C.
I spent 1 night at ibis Adelaide hotel, the location of the hotel is great, just few meters from the pedestrian area and close to parks area. I went on gym , small but complete. Awesome breakfast. The only negative point is that Wifi was not free, but it costs 10$, not acceptable for this kind of hotel.
C. A.
We weren't impressed, but the Hotel Ibis wasn't a bad choice. We've stayed at a few hotels around Adelaide and this was the most recent. Rooms and bed was comfortable and good location, but not the 5-star hotel we were thinking it would be.
J. L.
The hotel location was quite good - close to Rundle Mall and a short walk away from restaurants and bars. Check in and service at reception was also quite good and staff were friendly.
The room was clean and good for an overnight stay. Any longer and it might be uncomfortable for 2 people as it is quite small. Ibis Brisbane included free wifi but in Adelaide we had to pay for it, which wasn't great.
Overall a decent experience and considering it is one of the lower priced hotels it does provide a clean and comfortable stay, particularly for short term trips.
C. d. B.
The Ibis was very conveniently located for my purposes - just 60m from the J bus stop to and from the airport and within easy walking distance of the Adelaide Convention Centre where I was attending a conference .
Breakfast was included in my deal and there was a bar/restaurant in the building; once again very convenient. Very close to Rundal Mall as well.
The room was clean and comfortable.
All in all very good value for money.
M. T.
Whilst the hotel was clean and well serviced, we were disappointed that our family was split across two floors despite booking two twin rooms at the same time. With half the family on the second floor and the other half on the 6th floor this was actually a real pain owing to the security nature of the room key cards and the lifts and definitely impacted our experience of your hotel. I was also surprised and disappointed to have to pay $20 for parking.
I. G.
Nice yet basic hotel, clean, well located, nice staff and average but sufficient breakfast. Rooms are small but nothing was missing there. Recommended for business travelers who needs to stay around the Central Business District
A. J.
I was shocked to be charged $9.00 for a bottle of water (served at dinner the night before). The woman with whom I returned to query this (after paying my bill) was not friendly (loud and seemed in charge). When we were asked if we wanted water, they did not mention price and the price for water was NOT on the wine list. I find this price ABSOLUTELY shocking. I also think that the room we had was very small considering it was advertised as a special price - altogether and overall disappointing.
D. R.
Great value hotel stay. Comfortable rooms with on site bar and restaurant. Very close to Rundle Mall.
No on site parking but you can use the nearby Wilson Parking at a reduced rate if you see Reception.
L. A.
We couldn't have wished for better service, it is closed to the royal Adelaide hospital, trams, Rundle mall and the casino we loved our stay and are definitely coming back..
S. M. T.
Receptionists are helpful and friendly. They guided me on how to get to a particular destination through public transport.
The housekeeping service is up to expectation. My room was kept clean and tidy throughout the stay.
I. S.
Excellent apart from reception staff. Should take the staff from the breakfast area who were welcoming and happy and make them the face of the hotel. Staff at reception appeared disinterested and everything was an effort. Took three telephone calls to determine if hotel had Foxtel!
M. D.
Amazing accommodation. Elegant and beautiful. Good restaurant inside. Possibility to rent bike. Parking available just near the entrance. Laundry and gym available 24/7. I loved it. I suggest it if you stay in Adelaide some nights. It is also near the most important street of the city.
D.
Location good
Staff great, warm and attentive (aside one)
Rooms are good for the money and very clean
Bar is good and drinks reasonably priced
Brekkie was very average and that is being kind.
I heard a lady customer ask a staff member about food allergies in a dish and the response was rude, inaccurate and worrying
C. C.
Staff went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my stay was comfortable. Rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. View was fantastic from the 15th floor overlooking Adelaide Hills. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
G.
My family and I were very happy with the rooms & the breakfast included. We were provided with everything we were promised. The hotel was right in the middle of Adelaide which was perfect for us. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Overall we were very happy with everything.
K. B.
Loved it. From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out (but had my bags held) the ladies on reception were so friendly, courteous and efficient. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Excellent location.

The Ibis on Grenfell Street in Adelaide is an excellent budget hotel . I have stayed here on numerous occasions and will be staying there again. The hotel is quiet, good ambiance and comfortable. I have to say it is a bit of a Pidgeon Hole and it is meant to be a comfortable night stay . It is not a luxury hotel and not a resort type of expensive place. It is Central and walking distance to any point of interest in CBD. The food was not to my religious needs so I have never eaten there and neither do I be near alcohol so cannot tell you about the bar. Adelaide is not a car friendly city and the parking is a BIG HEADACHE and hotels like Ibis do provide parking in car parks in neighbouring buildings but at a cost. The staff are excellent and the bookings and check out are easy . Try to book on the Accor Group website as you can be sure what you are getting. Accor Loyalty Card is worth it. Book in advance and also be aware that certain months in Adelaide can be very busy and the hotel is either booked out or the prices are dear. A lovely coffee shop has just opened next to the hotel which serves excellent coffee and all kinds of food. Enjoy this Hotel.
C. M.
A nice hotel to stay at when in Adelaide. My wife and I stayed here on our last trip to Australia and found it to be comfortable. The rooms are a bit small but the on-site restaurant was good and it was walkable to the market, restaurants, and coffee shops.
L. C.
The hotel is nice, clean, and modern. The room is comfortable but spartan. The staff are good, but limited. It's not a five star luxury hotel but a good choice for an extended stay at a business friendly price.
R.
It was well located for everywhere i needed to go on the city. Carpark was $20 for the whole 2 days as i never took it out of the carpark...but it would have c ost another twenty everytime i left for a drive. Better off walking. Nice hotel. Great breakfast.
G. T.
Great location, nice staff and good room with all the necessities. The internet is fast. Tv has more channels than I have at home. Ibis kitchen on level 1 is great, thanks to Rudi and all the staff
T. M.
"Excellent location","Clean","Convenient for shopping" I have stayed in other Ibis hotels in the world and I can say beyond a shadow of doubt and without any hesitation, the Adelaide Ibis is the best. It has reinforced my trust in the brand. Kudos to all the staff who have made the experience so memorable. Keep it up!
J. B.
Room was not huge, but it was well appointed, very clean, nice view. Great location. Breakfast was tasty. Staff were very nice and professional. I'll stay here again.
G. S.
enjoyable experience other than
1) When in a long line of customers at the reception just waiting for a quick carpark ticket exchange to leave for appointments on time i wondered why the desk staff did not ask a quick check of people in the lines requirements and prioritise rather than serving 3 customer check ins taking ages and make a staying client await in line for 25 minutes for a carpark ticket swap rather than take 2 minute s to attend
Finding out on arrival that the booking payment had not been taken as intended and having to allocate funds unexpectedly on arrival
2) my concern was the inability for 7 nights being unable to have a window slightly ajar for fresh air made me a bit panicky at night in particular.
3) Being charged some dollars more than the prices displayed on the tv menus for the all day food pickup from 1st floor and too much fluid in the butter chicken with minimal meat for the price
S. W.
Great location. Good service
S. D.
The Ibis hotel in Adelaide exceeds my expectations for an Ibis hotel every time. Excellent pricing, and amazing service. The front reception staff even remember my name when I only stay there every 6 weeks or so. Very happy with the service at the Ibis. Restaurant recommendations from staff also never cease to amaze.
S. P.
The room was well laid out and modern. The bed and linens were comfortable. The shower was strong and well sized. We also had dinner here and the lamb shank was amazing.
E. M.
Very friendly staff. So helpful. Great facilities. Free room upgrade and early check in wich we did not expect. Room was great. Will be staying here again.
K. V.
Located on Grenfell Street in the Adelaide CBD. Has 24 hour check in. A casual bar and restaurant. Includes a breakfast room and has a fully equipped gym. Good service. Decent quality of food and services.
L. d. J.
Our little holiday was just to see Adelaide and have a break from Melbourne. The Ibis hotel was accessible, friendly, clean, quiet, comfortable and the buffet was delicious!
We're getting married in November and taking our honeymoon in Europe, in June and will definitely be using out Accor membership. I love the red converse too!
Y. K. W.
Excellent place to stay, good service and excellent breakfast.for the price we paid, you can't get any better
J. C.
Stayed for a weekend recently and loved the location. Right next to Rundle Mall, there were plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Room was clean and hotel facilities were new. Would recommend staying here if you're visiting Adelaide, whether for work or for leisure!
G. E.
This hotel is in the centre of Adelaide near Rundal Mall. It is excellent value for money. The service is good and the rooms clean and comfortable. The rooms are modern and functional with plenty of space to work in the room if needed. Highly recommended.
D. D.
Excellent. We have also passed our appraisal on to Trip Adviser. Unfortunately we error ed in dates with our on line booking and technically were a 'no show'. One day late. Your Ibis Adelaide reception staff were very understanding of our distressed state and obviously referred the situation to management. This resulted in us being accommodated on similar terms and the 'No Show'penalty cancelled.
Ibis Adelaide reception staff should be congratulated, thank you.
The 15th floor room (an upgrade to superior) was excellent and although compact was up to Accor international standards.
S. S.
My room was cosy, comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping was thorough. Reception staff were super friendly and the breakfast buffet was comprehensive and well presented.
N. Z.
In the centre of CBD, across the road from Adelaide central markets, short walk to museum and art gallery, 2 min walk from Coles, 5 min walk from the main strip, free street parking on weekends in side streets across the road, $2 for 3 hour parking on weekends - this hotel is situated well and has free parking on weekends. Clean and bed is comfortable
R. B.
Excellent stay at the ibis Adelaide staff were courteous and very helpful WILL stay AGAIN
D. S.
I normally stay at M Gallery, Novotel or Sofitel. Friends were staying at the Ibis so booked there as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the rooms. The rrom were clean, modern and comfortable. Ill stay there again
S. C.
Great location and facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect place to stay in Adelaide.
Y. H.
Beautiful rooms with amenities and housekeeper, although parking options are down the main road and does not have some services such as surrounding hotels and motels, however it is an amazing hotel.
I. W.
Apart form a little hiccup with the door key not working, everything was very nice. The room was clean and fresh (if a little small) and suite day needs perfectly. The location was great.
R. D.
Very nice hotel close to the shops with everything you need to survive if in the city for more than a few days, including the gym. Restaurant is decent, they need to increase the variety of cereals for breakfast.
S.
So far so good I have no complaints about the place because it was a great entrance and exit everything was simple and there was movies and tv shows.
N. Z.
Everything worked smoothly. Staff are friendly and clearly it has been set up for business stays as there are no delays in check in, check out , breakfast etc. The rooms are modern ,comfortable and quiet.
C. D. O.
All good as usual. The machine at breakfast hot chocolate was mostly water. I do not drink coffee just chocolate and even the bar chocolate was weak. Alpen blend has a lot of milk in the mixture so not a good one to add hot milk too. It is designed to be make with water but is not good chocolate anyway.
The staff were excellent and helpful thank you.
Christine
S. J.
Very clean and comfortable rooms, not luxury but good value. Great location.
No onsite parking, they have a few deals with nearby parking lots
D. L.
The standard twin room I was sharing with a friend was great, it had plenty of room, comfy beds and a decent sized bathroom. The fridge was a bit disappointing and not having a room internet connection was really bad.
M. D.
Perfectly nice hotel in heart of Adelaide, very close to the university. They don't deliver room service, but the gym is reasonably modern. Can't ask more for the price
k. S.
The whole experience of our one night stay at the Ibis on Grenfell Street, was equal to the satisfaction we have experienced over the last year.
The only blemish occurred when making the booking, several weeks earlier. After our first stay, we requested and were granted, parking for our vehicle in the little park at the hotel. Unfortunately, the reception officer has to consult someone, usually taking five minutes or more. We think a note could be attached to our details on the computer saving this delay.
We appreciate the parking because of my mobility disability.
B.
Very good hotel. Clean, modern and very friendly staff.
I would reccomened staying here.
M. K.
Nice hotel overall. Clean modern room but it was a little bit noisy. The internal walls seemed thin and I was woken up by hall traffic.
h. w. p.
Apart from me booking the wrong dates, it was great! Check in sorted it quick with no fuss. Room clean and nice, breakfast good. Nice feel to the hotel. Great location.
R. B.
We always enjoy staying at the Ibis and this hotel is our first choice when we travel to Adelaide. The staff are always friendly and do their best to ensure we have an enjoyable stay. Rooms are very comfortable for our needs.
L. R.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. Its in close proximity to the shopping malls, popular bars and restaurants. I was able to walk to most tourist attractions within the CBD whilst other attractions were accessible via taxi or public transport or by bicycle.
L. R.
Have stayed here multiple times. Staff are friendly, happy to chat and have a joke, which ia nice. Dinner options at the bar / restaurant are surprisingly good. A short stroll from Rundle Mall with plenty of cafes.
S. S.
Always get great service at Ibis Adelaide. Staff are friendly, the beds are super comfy...had a very relaxing stay and got the special $1 breakfast - only complaint is the free coffee with the breakfast was terrible so we bought one from the bar - would probably not bother offering the free one!
J. T.
Once upon a time, this used to be part of an arcade where I spent plenty of time. 22 years later I return to almost a new building springing up into the sky, the ibis Adelaide.
It's a fairly new hotel located right at the heart of the city next to the Adelaide Arcade on Grenfell Street so location wise it's almost perfect. Through the Adelaide Arcade is Rundle Mall which is Adelaide's main pedestrian shopping street. Here you will find food, cafes, groceries stores and others. It's also just a short walk to the University of Adelaide and the North Terrace where most of Adelaide's main attractions and museums are situated. Right outside the hotel is a bus stop. Can't get any more central than this.
The hotel's design is pretty modern. There's a hangout area at the lobby. There's also computers lined up in case you need to use one and there are rental bikes right within the hotel that you can rent with your credit card. Ibis is more like a urban chic budget hotel but on my stay, the price was incredibly high mainly due to the cricket match that weekend.
The room I had was typical of a ibis. Clean and functional. It isn't big, but have all the basic amenities and a work desk. The view however was great as it looks towards the Adelaide Hill. Wifi in the room was fast and it had all the necessary ports to not cause any inconvenience. But it's no resort, like I said: functional.
No real amenities to speak off, or I didn't get a chance to try any, so I'm glad I'm at centre of town. I won't have to depend on the hotel as much and ventured out to the cafes that are plenty just around the corner.
In summary, ibis is functional and fuss free.
M. F.
I have stayed here a few times now and every time the staff have been really friendly and helpful with early check in and late check outs. It is clean and in a great location.
C. S.
I have stayed at this hotel several times before and always enjoyed it. This time was a one nighter only with no time to enjoy the associated facilities. Requested a Superior room and was slightly disappointed when I got a room on level 7 as we had requested 'as high as possible'.
E. D.
Stayed here as the final part of our Red Centre trip with AAT Kings. Having visited the highlights of Uluru etc, we then travelled on the Ghan o/n train from Alice Springs to Adelaide where this was out hotel.
Good location and services, very convenient for local shops etc and for the buses to take us out to the motorhome hire depot.
Recommended 👍

Bit of a hassle to find a park just to check in and then also to park in general. Room and staff service is great though
A. D.
It wasn't too bad i just didn't like the first room i was given lots of road noise and early morning construction.. but they moved me to the other end and it was perfect
W. W.
Nice hotel, very central location, clean and quite, even facing the main street. No issue at all for them 2 nights we stayed there. Definitely meeting our expectations.
T. M.
Nowoczesny hotel w centrum.
B. S.
Convenient to get around from here. Room is small but clean and comfortable
J. C.
Staff were very friendly, had dinner & breakfast the food was really good. Room was great but didn't like the pillows, but other than that it was prefect stay.
K. N.
We stayed here for one night only. The room was comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet given we had the room opposite the elevator. It was in a great central location. I would stay here again.
K. P.
Adelaide was wonderful - a great city to visit on a lovely weekend. The hotel was clean and comfortable, except that I was too hot (the room would not cool below 19 degrees even though it was cooler outside, but I couldn't open the window.
I was also disappointed that the Internet was not free without a special membership deal.
N. D.
Good basic clean rooms. Good value but the service standard in general is less than other hotels. Bit still nice for a basic quick stay.
S. R.
The location is perfect, rooms are clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly.
P. M.
Pros: reasonably modern building in a great location, included breakfast Cons: Tiny room, lack of view, unhelpful staff (was told I had to go down to reception to pick up a bottle opener when I realised one was not provided in the room), parking is in a separate public carpark across the road.
A. S.
Our stay was good & comfortable, our room on level 13 had good views towards Adelaide oval. Staff was friendly. Overall experiemce was good. Will definitely visit again.
d. M. A.
Was very pleasant, very nice facilities, very nice view from my room. Felt very hygienic and no odor which is always good. Very classy hotel. Staff were very polite
N. R.
Clean and has a good view. Rooms are tiny and the noise from the lifts is a bit annoying but overall a good stop over spot
S. L.
My #1 choice to stay when in Adelaide. Excellent very clean rooms.
J. A.
All in all good. The breakfast was a little bit average tasting but good enough selection. I would've preferred to be given a double or queen bed for a single person, not two singles. But other than that it was good.
B. W.
Great location near Rundle Mall and St. The Service was great, informative and very polite. I cant fault the rooms. I have stayed there on a number of occasions and will continue to do so.
R. W.
Mostly good as always. However, the breakfast dining area was cluttered with plates and looked awful. struggled to find a clean table. had to clear plates to sit down in overflow bar area. Fellow travelling raised his eyebrow too. Might have let it go but one staff member was walking around spraying and wiping clean surfaces looking busy but ignoring the tables with dirty plates on.
A. D.
Hotel well take care of the customers , they provided Indian Veg Breakfast in Australia Adelaide IBIS. The support staff n front desk is very co operative.
R. H.
Good place to stay at. Rooms are lovely and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideal location to stay if wanting to be close to city limits.
J. M.
Perfectly acceptable accommodation for a conference or meeting, close to Exhibition centre and central Adelaide. Didnt try the restaurant, hotel was well located to may places for lunch and dinner. Like most hotels I have stayed at, they make a point about saving water by giving the guest the option of reusing their towel etc, but then change it anyway.
S. H.
Really enjoyable. Nice staff. Great breakfast. Only issue was it appeared the breakfast was understaffed. Thanks be young girls stayed calm and did well.
P. K.
If it’s cleanliness, convenience and congeniality you’re after you can stop Googling right now, and if it’s value for money you’re after this place has got that covered as well. I stayed at the Ibis Adelaide with my family and it exceeded all expectations. Thankyou ibis team!
K. C.
Great hotel. Everything's really new, and well done. Rooms are small but they don't feel crowded. Great breakfast on offer as well.
R. T.
Was an interesting and enjoyable stay. Booked with buffet breakfast and food was perfect. Room was compact and just right. No road noise. Saw a guy buy something from a vending machine wrapped in just a towel. That was different, funny and awkwardly funny.
R. B.
I thought the rooms and general service at the hotel were good. I was diasapointed with a particular experience in relation to changing my booking. Turned out the flexible rate they offer wasnt as flexible as the wording suggested.
F. H.
My husband and i absolutely loved staying here. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance of rundle mall, casino and even central markets. Hopefully we will be back soon.
J. D.
An example of the best from the Ibis chain. A warm welcome, with everything ready. Room smart and modern, with lovely view of the Adelaide Hills. Efficient check-in and check-out. Great bar!
T. D.
Great Hotel to stay. Room was comfortable. Meals were very nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere. Would stay again.
D. F.
Check in was quick and effecient and staff were very helpful and attentive. Room was clean and tidy. A little noisy, but I was on the second floor, so not that far away from traffic.
P. L.
Value for money. Rooms are clean. Located near Hindmarsh Square, Rundle Mall and the City Centre.
B. H.
Great accommodation.
Very helpful staff.
D. P.
Wonderful and friendly service from check-in to check-out. Thanks Olivia 😎👍🏼
Spacious and clean room with terrific view over picturesque Adelaide
Excellent value in house breakfast
Highly recommended
F. A.
Gentle and warm staff, nice and central location, clean and fully furnished rooms: even more than the usual good value-quality combo always delivered by Ibis.
N. M.
$5 wines and beers on weekdays between 5 to 7pm. Limited selection and no draft beers but still can't complain at that price!
Good amount of sunlight in the bar area but nothing spectacular about the view.
J. R.
Was conveniently located just a 2 min walk from shops and transport. Beautifully clean room and a great view with sunrise over the city. Breakfast was included and was delicious.
I. S.
The staff were excellent .their help made our stay an enjoyable experience. A central location made it easy to get around and the rooms although not large were excellent.
C. M.
Needed to find somewhere pleasant to eat that was wheelchair accessible. Food was good and the bar had a reasonable selection of beers and wine. Friendly staff made the experience!
K.
The hotel room was fabulous. It clean and comfortable, and has views of the city. The hotel was also located very near to the shopping centres. Very accessible and convenient.
A. J.
Central location. Close to the Rundle mall and restaurants. Room was in good condition and the bed reasonable. A bit noisy though. Service was excellent. Friendly and accommodating.
J. “. W.
Got pretty much the best service you could ask for while I was staying here over the weekend. Front desk got wind it was my brothers birthday and left a cake and a fruit basket in my room.
Try out the Korean Fried Chicken if you are at the restaurant on the 1st floor.
P. K.
The facilities were very comfortable and the staff were particularly helpful. However, there was a lot of traffic noise during the night. Judging by the noise, it sounded like garbage trucks operating for an extended period during the night.
D. L.
The hotel was modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is excellent for shopping as it's close to Rundle Mall and Rundle Street. Only downside is no swimming pool.

Good location, friendly staff and ver clean. Only downside was the double bed was so small and had the mattress protector on the wrong way which made it uncomfortable.
L. J. P.
Modern, clean, affordable hotel with lovely staff. Small, adequate gym. Super central location.
J. ẞ. J.
Great for business or travel, internet should be complimentary & parking is not cheap. Not so great, a fee of $20 each time to exit is a hefty lump. So I'd suggest an alternate place to park or

Convenient location, close to restaurants, shops and a short drive from the airport. Rooms are tidy, however a bit small for my liking. Service was very friendly, efficient and accommodating.

Great room, excellent staff and convenient bar/ meeting lounge. Breakfast buffet -1 (dehydrated lacking flavour) eat elsewhere.

Spent a week there for a conference. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay in Adelaide this is a great option. Close to the Rundle Mall as well as other shops in the area.

This is a great hotel, rooms are spotless and spacious and the bed is very comfy, staff are friendly and helpful and the on site bar and restaurant is also good, it is well situated right in the hub of the city, walking distance to a lot of attractions, I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Adelaide and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Perfect for work or needing to stay close to the city. Close to major shopping malls, restaurants, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Universities, public transports (buses, tram and train). Comfy bed and all the necessary basic amenities are provided.
J. H.
Clean and easy. Rooms are on the smaller side, but more than serviceable. Staff are friendly and helpful, and location is second to none.
K. H.
We came in really late and they were ready with our rooms and were expecting us. Simple, clean room. Great stay.

Very helpful staff at the front desk. Room small but very clean. Wifi isn't free, whivh it should be. Good location next to Rundle Mall.

Our stay was very comfortable with great views of eastern Adelaide from the sixteenth floor.... The attention from the team members made us feel like VIP guests.... Thank you!
T. T.
the room was tidy but had noise coming from the close by elevator. Will put in a note not to get any room that's close to the elevator next round.
then also the elevator's floor numbering is not clear. The indicator (highlighted blue) is not clear.
S. F.
Professional service and food quality was better than expected. As it was a professional event, having to access function room through the public bar / dining area was not ideal, but overall was happy with the evening.

We have enjoyed stay in ibis Adelaide for 5 nights, the room is very comfy, cosy, neat & clean!~

Barossa and light cab service, Barossa's only 100% locally owned and operated cab/taxi provider love the ibis Adelaide. Because we do a lot of work from the ibis Adelaide to the Barossa looking after ibis guests with their travel requirements to the Barossa. We think that ibis Adelaide is one of the very best hotels in Adelaide...being close to shops, transport, and many tourists attractions. Barossa and light cab service recommend ibis Adelaide a lot to our customers who after their stay in the Barossa are looking for good quality accommodation in the Adelaide CBD. Highly recommended.

I had an extremely satisfying experience. The bed was ultra comfortable, the shower was lovely & hot; hot chocolate available, not just tea & coffee; delightful friendly staff. Only cause for concern was there seemed to be some confusion …
S. R.
The food at the ibis Bar & Kitchen is amazing value. Try the pork chop with mash. Mmmmmm.
P. T.
Centrally located. Good food, room and bed. All amenities. Pleasant staff.
J. K.
Yeah was ok. Room and staff were good. Food not so much.
D. W.
The receptionist was very accommodating, sorting out a late check out for me (checked in at around 2.45am after finishing work at 2.30am) and also offered me a drink (using one of my drink vouhers). The amenities were quite nice and the bed and pillows very comfortable.

I have stayed here a few times now and every time the staff have been really friendly and helpful with early check in and late check outs. It is clean and in a great location.

Our stay was average. The room was very small (but clean). We had no place to put our suitcases and there were no drawers for our belongings. Also we were disappointed to have no WiFi in the room. I tried to sign up for your loyalty …
B. P.
The room was lovely but was a little disappointed with breakfast as there was not enough staff on and was always waiting for the food in the buffet as was always running out. I also thought parking was a little expensive.
R.
Modern clean comfortable rooms, great location close to restaurants and shopping in the city. They don't have on site parking but very short walk to near by parking garage.
E. W.
No free wifi in the rooms. Overall nice and clean rooms though. Convenient location and easy to walk to many places or catch public transportation.
F. H.
Nice modern hotel. Unfortunately one of our room was facing west and when we enter the room it was hot. It took 1 hour for the air con to cool the room.
G. H.
Nice clean hotel, really comfortable beds and 1 minute walk from Rundle Mall. My only negative is that you have pay for wifi, which should be free in this day and age.
