Everything was fine except the way we had approached for reservation. We got a deal from Booking.com through a third party (introduced by Booking.com) for a Superior east room and everything was fine, whereas the hotel mentioned the price excluded housekeeping service. They added if the housekeeping is needed, you have to 20% more than the deal we had offered. It was like a rip-off circumstance. As long as we had paid for the room in advance and we couldn't afford for 20% more, we went with NO housekeeping service which was not so bad, to be honest:))

Room was great we got the majestic suite with spa but no balcony unfortunately. Had the best sleep, bed was awesome enjoyed the space! We had dinner from the restaurant and meals were superb! We had the sliders, gnocchi and risotto, best risotto we have had! Def recommend this place! Thank you

Absolutely sensational, from the moment we walked in and were greeted to the bath that I could not only lay in but could even see the TV through the French windows.
Pod machine for coffee and some awesome nibbles in the room that were reasonably priced.
Comfortable bed and a couple of extra pillows.
They thought of it all.
Thankyou again for our stay, Craig 😀😃👍😃😀

Absolutely faultless experience, from online booking to check out. The staff are so lovely, knowledgeable and welcoming, fast and efficient check in. The lobby is comfortable, spacious and elegant.
Our room, balcony room 320 was beautiful. Immaculate, spotless and so spacious. Plenty of room for luggage, large mirror, 2 comfy bucket chairs plus desk chair, plenty of power sockets. The coffee pod machine with pods, milk frother and new Android smart TV were particularly enjoyed.
The bathroom is beautiful and again spotlessly clean. Lovely deep bath, plenty of towels and nice products, though a bath bubble would have been a nice touch :) .
Mini bar seemed well stocked and varied, with SA treats as well as the usual suspects.
We didn't go to the restaurant but the menu was varied and everything sounded great. We did have breakfast from the restaurant in our room though and it was so delicious, my only complaint was only one piece of toast and the bacon needed to be cooked properly, it was barely touched by heat .
The view of rundle street from the balcony is fun, we loved watching the comings and goings of people, even the enormous car park directly opposite was interesting!
We will absolutely be coming back, thank you so much.

Location is very central. Staffs are very accommodating n friendly. Kudos to Samuel.
However, whats with the white lights in the room??? Would hv given a 5 stars if it was warm lights instead... Felt like I was in a hospital initially.
B.
Unfortunately due to COVID we had to cancel, and receptionist staff member Samuel could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond in a tricky situation to accommodate us. We were very impressed with the customer service.
N. B.
The rooms were gorgeous comfy beds, and loved the screen doors opening from the bathroom so you can enjoy the TV from the tub.
And the breakfast is a must!!

Rarely come into the city, so we spoilt ouselves and booked using our State voucher. Fabulous room and location! Dissappointed with the Rooftop garden and unfortunately parked at the wrong carpark and was charged $58 for 1 night! So make sure you park on Bent St for $26.
L. C.
Lovely bathroom and comfy beds. Roof top garden not quite how the photos looked and restaurant not open and we were not informed of this when booking.

A great 3 nights spent at this welcoming Hotel. Its in the centre of the East End of Adelaide, were everything is happening at night....but most of Adelaide is easily accessible via walking or Tram from this Hotel. We can't travel far any more so decided to be tourist in our own City. We have been travelling the state for last 18mths years because of Covid19. Our tourist industry needs us, to support them through this tough time, for all of them, Hotels, Pubs, Wineries, shopping, restaurants, events etc. No more so than this Comfortable, extremely clean and attractive (bed linen and pillows first class) Majestic Roof Garden Hotel. We had parking in car park across from the Hotel, Breakfast which was lovely all part of the package. Only hiccup was the Roof Garden Bar was closed, looked forward to a sunset drink up there looking over the City, but staffing has had to be cut because of Covid, this is sad for for the young people, that were employed there, so they need us to spend our $$$ in our fabulous City. There for the Iluminate Adelaide last month and didn't have a spare moment. But don't forget to book where ever you go, its a very vibrant scene, which is great! This is our city go to now....wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Highly recommend it for service and value for money.

We stayed here because we had a function on the roof top.
The room was very nice, bed was comfy, bathroom huge but we had the aircon on because it was cold. Every time the fan came on it would wake us up as it was very noisy.
Also disappointed they did not have heaters on the roof top as it was freezing.
Probably would not stay there again or recommend it.
Z. B.
Beautiful rooms very clean we enjoyed our stay will come back again

This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are modern and clean, it’s in a really great location, and the staff are very hospitable.
A. L.
Room was nice and staff friendly. Good however was average.
G. M.
Room was nice and staff friendly. Good location.
G. B.
A good centrally located hotel, with comfortable and spacious rooms. Some aspects were limited due to Covid (rooftop, restaurant). But overall the staff were friendly and helpful, and you can't fault being able to walk to almost everything downtown. Parking is an additional offsite expense.
S. P.
Room was quiet, very clean and breakfast was delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful, best stay in hotel for a long time.
L. G. B.
We stayed here for a night on my birthday which was nice. Very clean room and bathroom is modern and spacious. Little disappointed that with how much it costs to stay here there was only 3 complimentary coffee sachets. Breakfast was quite pricey for the amount served. Very nice food though. Also disappointed that coffee in the restaurant was served in small cups as I’m used to the option of ordering a mug of coffee. Was nice to check out the rooftop view.
In the morning after breakfast we went back to our room and around 10am the cleaner opened our door and entered. I’d heard a knock but I was on the phone at the time- regardless I think it was very unprofessional to have entered our room as check out was at 11am.
E. L.
When we booked this, we asked for access to a tesla charger. Little did we know that it is behind a 45 a day valet service. Normal parking is 26 a night. Its better and cheaper to park across the road. Had we known this, we could have booked a different hotel! The rooms are huge and clean. I guess it would be perfect for tourists who dont have a car. Skip the breakfast and go somewhere else.
H. D.
Clean, affordable good location close to all attractions.
J. M.
Great place to stay and friendly staff. Room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable.
Also the hotel is close to the Garden of Unearthly Delights. Breakfast was really nice. Will be coming back 😀
J. M.
Wow this is by far one off the best places I've stayed in room amazing food amazing staff amazing. Will definitely be coming back
D. M.
For value for money if you can pick up a room during the week or on special is fantastic!
A clean, modern hotel right in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD. It’s less than 50m to a range of shops, cafes and bars down the East End of Town. Friendly service and clean rooms. Very good value for money
T. A.
We stayed in a balcony room. The bed, shower and bath are very comfortable. Warm and welcoming 🤙🏼🤙🏼
D. W.
Fabulous location in the Adelaide East End surrounded by cafe's and shopping. Lovely spacious modern rooms.
s. g.
Good central hotel. Close to a good selection of restaurants. Comfortable bed, with the ability to open door for fresh air. Only problem is not enough accessible power points.
L. T.
Great location, walking distance to food and shopping precincts. Good size room, nice and clean, not a bad price. Staff are friendly, would stay here again.
J. J.
An enjoyable evening. Kitchen and bars were closed on Sunday due to pandemic.
A. B.
Great staff. Good food. Great rooms.
A. D.
Nice setting but could do with more than just one heater in the winter months. The service was great but it was just too cold
E. W.
Had to book here last minute for a family of 5 to shelter during bushfires. The rooms were comfortable and clean, some things were a little bit tired but overall it presented well.
We would like to thank Sanjay for his help and kindness when at 3am we had an unpleasant clean up to take care of due to our daughter being sick.
There were also some incredibly rude guests that had no qualms about creating an obnoxious drunken racket in the lobby and out on the street at 1.30am but once informed front desk staff actioned this quickly and decisively.
Would visit again. Thank you.
B. H. J.
Nice clean, spacious rooms. Polite staff who were in formative. The cherry was the fantastic Eggs Benedict, great coffee served / made by a gentleman who was all about it!! Quick, polite and a master of his craft! I wish to be so enthusiastic on a Sunday morning let alone about work! Keep sending it mate. Rgds, JR

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly customer service with a smile with no hesitation to go out of their way to make sure your stay is a memorial one. Majestic Roof Garden is the only place I will stay when I am in Adelaide.
J. H.
Good pub, very courteous stuff.
B.
Beautiful clean hotel room
Breakfast was delicious
J. D.
We enjoyed our stays at this hotel. The location is really good and the rooms are very comfortable and the bathtub is a very nice feature. The only negative thing about this hotel was that I organized late checkout with the front desk since we had arrived late, then the next morning they called us asking if we would be checking out. This was very embarrassing since we thought we had organized late check out and when we tried to explain at the front desk the women was not very friendly about it and treated us like we had done something wrong, we left feeling really upset. Other than this one off experience we had a really lovely time and the room was very nice.
D. R.
Spacious, very clean room. Bath and seperate shower!!
Comfortable bed, soft linen and towels
Great breakfast....eggs on ciabatta with avocado and oven roasted tomatoes.....yum!!
M. F.
Clean and spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Well positioned in the city, walk out of the hotel and into the night life, very nice restraunts nearby.
P. L.
Rooms spacious and clean, have everything you need. Disappointed the restaurant was closed, but walking distance to many choices. Breakfast room open

They got a roof with a garden. Ate uber eats up there, fanciest uber eats meal I had.
Decent rooms. Have balconies.

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly customer service with a smile with no hesitation to go out of their way to make sure your stay is a memorial one. Majestic Roof Garden is the only place I will stay when I am in Adelaide.

What a great place to stay in the heart of Adelaide CBD clean comfy amazing customer service

Great location, great hotel, breakfast was excellent and the staff are very friendly. Would stay again.

Super clean room, cute roof top garden with awesome view of the Adelaide Hills. Buffet breakfast was really nice as well with lots of variety. Staff were lovely.
K. T.
We had planned to stay here about 13 years ago but plans were put on hold. July 2018 ended up being when we finally stayed the night. We had a lovely relaxing time here. Had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the food was great. There was a convention happening in the building and about 30 minutes into dinner the restaurant area was full and became quite noisy. Adelaide has quite a few options for nights away and i would happily put this in the top 7.
J. A. I.
I came here for work and have had good service throughout. I called the hotel to let them know I would arrive late and staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy, fast, and friendly at 22:30. The room was clean and very well furnished, and I had a very pleasant night's sleep. And the price I found was below $150 per night! I would definitely look here for a room the next time I come back to Adelaide.
N. H.
This hotel was awesome. I stayed there recently during the Tour Down Under event. The Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming and the beds were SUPER comfortable. Although, what really did it for me was the pre-set air conditioning temperature! AMAZING! It was over 40 degrees when I arrived and the staff had preset the air con in the room to nice and cool, such great service! Really don't get this service these days at hotels, these guys set the new standard for me.
V. D.
Perfect location on rundle street to soak up the atmosphere. Has a fantastic restaurant on the ground floor. The room prices are awesome for the location, they are on the smaller side but you only need a place to sleep and shower, and you do comfortably, on their large king beds!
Z. L.
Great downtown location. Rooms are gorgeous they include shower separate bathtub and private balcony. The morning breakfast buffet has a ton of variety. I've stayed there three times in the past 2 months and i can't think of a single criticism for this place.
C. P.
went for dinner in the restaurant for the reopening. so good to come back. I love the location so nice for a walk after dinner. cant wait for a roof bar to open.
T. M.
Had an excellent stay in this hotel. Spacious room and a good wel equipped bathroom. We stayed in a west side room which was quiet. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. We had an early check out on the last day and the staff at that time of the day were exceptional.
S. A.
Absolutely brilliant stay at the Majestic. Arrived and we were upgraded to the Majestic suite which was beautiful and very large, including a balcony and a spa bath! The staff were so lovely and complied with a request I sent through to have a love heart on the bed - made of towels and napkins, so sweet. Great buffet breakfast in the morning and excellent central location within walking distance of all Adelaide's best bars and restaurants.
T. M.
I was recommended this hotel by a colleague, and was not disappointed. From the moment of arrival to the monument of departure the service and efficiency of the staff was exemplary. The room had a small balcony which enables the sliding door to remain open overnight if you prefer fresh air to air conditioned. Reasonable room rates.
T. M.
The Majestic Roof Garden Hotel has terrific location with several restaurants with in a short walk. Amenities are pretty low standard but that's nothing to worry about if you have your own kit. The room rate was unbeatable for the quality …
T. M.
I have stayed at this hotel ***y times and I have always had a great experience. Au, excellent value. From the moment I arrived till I departed the staff were amazing. Didn't have time for breakfast with our flight but they were more than happy to get us a take away coffee and pastry.
J. C.
Stayed only 2 nights, great location, room very clean and tidy and staff friendly, leaflet on what is on in Adelaide be nice ?? But we enjoyed our stay and do it again.
C. G.
Provided the service I expected. Room was nice. Located very close to many shopping and eating options. The roof is nice, Majestic is a bit of an oversell. If price is right, take the jump but it wasn't a venue that wowed me during my time there.
N. H.
Such a beautiful setting to enjoy a man getting extremely old! Great company. Food and staff were amazing!!
B. E.
Very warm and comfortable place to stay.
Bathroom is really nice
M. S.
Excellent venue for a function. Garden bar outside world be perfect for Friday drinks after work. The dining room has a wall of glass facing the hills that slide back to really let the outside in.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, while the food was of top quality.
C. K.
Fantastic professional warm attentive staff. The hotel is quiet and has all the creature comforts you could ask for.
B. A. (. L. A. H.
Great boutique hotel with good quality rooms, nice fit out - and quiet given the location. Great place for romance (close to great restaurants), or as a surprisingly good business stay for a reasonable price. Only problem is parking - they offer self park or valet parking... I’ve found their valet parking to be a bit slow moving cars of an evening (with the car staying many hours in the limited street parking even though you’ve paid for secure parking)
T. M.
Location is good but if staying on the weekend it will be noisy as its located right off a main pub, restaurant area. The area outside the room was very small for breaks. We made use of the hotel laundry room (available to guests for a small fee) since we were in the middle of an extended trip.
J. E.
Found a good deal on their website for a free upgrade to an executive suite. Room was nice, clean, with comfy bed and a cool movable screen that opened the tub to the rest of the room.
Had a small glitch during check-in where they could not find my reservation. But that was resolved quickly. Staff was very courteous and apologetic about the problem.
I downgraded them slightly in this review because a few things needed maintenance. The toilet valve stuck and needed to be jiggled. Also, one of the guest laundry dryers did not work right. No offer was made to refund my laundry money. They were apologetic, however.
I would definitely stay here again despite the glitches.

Atmosphere: 5/5
Room features: 5/5
Comfort: 5/5
Cleanliness: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Overall experience: 5/5
Hands down best hotel I've ever stayed at.
Prime location in the heart of Adelaide City, so a very easy walking distance to everything.
The rooms have a very luxurious feel with an enormous king size bed. Beautifully clean bathroom with separate shower & bath. And so quiet! No clunking doors or elevator noises and even though the streets of Adelaide are always quite busy, the noise from outside was minimal. Perfect.
We had an excellent stay.
T. M.
The rooms were very clean and appointed. The restaurant boasted being voted best hotel restaurant 2016 though we didn't eat there because Rundle Street was just around the corner. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would come back to stay here again if we should ever be back in Adeladie.
G. B.
Stayed un an apartment was roomy lovely bed and bathroom great breakfast and pleasant staff.
D. P.
Really comfortable stay and lovely rooms. The staff were really helpful too, and the buffet breakfast was tasty.
Lots of nice cafes nearby too and within walking distance of much of the city.
Make sure to check out the room garden space.
N. X.
Good service, very friendly staff, good concierge. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing for dinners, beautiful presentation and great food! However the buffet breakfast lacks imagination is soggy and overpriced. Rooms are modern, comfortable and well presented, and the wifi is free..
T. M.
We recently took 25 of our top staff to Adelaide for a staff retreat and stayed in this hotel. Rooms very clean and tidy. We peeked at the rooftop and it was indeed very comfortable and impressive looking but we did not have a chance to enjoy it during our stay due to the weather.
P. N.
Hands down one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in even the standard rooms. Great staff, huge bath, comfortable bed ans desk for working. San Georvani restaurant next door is also really convenient open until 3am for late flight arrivals with award winning Italian food.
D. C.
Clean, well presented, great pleasant service. Happy to return
J. K.
I stayed here for 6 nights while doing a course at Adelaide University. Very conveniently located close to Rundall Mall but not so close to be disturbed by night life noise. My ‘superior’ room was very comfortable with a big bathroom and excellent bed. The lights from the building across the street were a little annoying because I like to wake up with daylight but I had to close the curtains to block out the flouro lights. Every one of the staff I dealt with were polite, friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the restaurant- it was just ok. I would definitely stay here again - there are plenty of great restaurants within easy walking distance.
T. M.
Could not be more impressed with this hotel. A hassle-free and much faster option is to take the 20-min NorthFlyer City Shuttle Service which will drop you off anywhere within the CBD for a fixed fare of AUD10 per pax; enquire at Visitor …
L. B.
We have a fantastic stay in this hotel. Relaxing bath while watching the t.v. they have an open door from the bath to the launch room. It's unique. Very clean and spacious room love it. And they have a free nespresso machine in the room with capsule for free, how good is that?
M. G.
Had a wonderful staycation. The full sized bath was much appreciated.
All the staff were friendly too
L. R.
Great location and a wonderful room. The spacious and airy bathroom was especially delightful. The hotel breakfast was not included in the price but it had a wide selection and was convenient.
A. K.
Lovely clean large room 👌
Very helpful staff
Nice location in the East End
Has a balcony but the view is a carpark
F. C.
Good hotel. Clean with good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Free wifi throughout the hotel - however not very powerful and one needs to log in every time.
C. M.
Great value and a nice, clean room. Fantastic location. However, our travel companion Bear (a stuffed bear) was left tucked into bed with a note, welcoming the cleaners with implicit instructions to tuck him Back in. We were distraught to return to find bear left out on top of the fully made bed, with note left on top of him! He did not look comfortable at all :(
l. c.
Hotel was pleasant but the windows have never been cleaned, you can hardly see out of them.
K. O.
Location fantastic; rooms well appointed and interesting layout. No free parking if you are forced to arrive by car. Slug 24 bucks. Roof garden provides views not utility
T. M.
We stayed overnight at the Majestic Roof Garden Hotel following our work Christmas party. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Excellent location only a short few steps from the main shopping and restaurant street. I will recommend this hotel to all my family, friends and colleagues.

The Good Bits
* Located on Frome Street, Rundle Street and all of its food and beverage outlets plus shopping are just at your door step. Walk a little further west on Rundle Street and you will reach Rundle Mall in less than 10 minutes. Walk north on Frome and you will reach North Terrace and Adelaide’s cultural promenade with the University, The Art Gallery, The State Museum and The State Library.
* The hotel staff are warm and friendly, and obliging. I requested for an ice bucket, a plate and cheese knife on check-in - it was brought up within 10 minutes of me being in the room.
* The room is what I call a standard room size - not small but not large either ... so it’s not cramped. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
* The bathroom is well-appointed with all the usual amenities and was cleaned well. The bath tub was of a generous size.
* There was an enclosed balcony with the ability to open the windows. This made the room very airy.
* The mini bar was well stocked.
* There is a great restaurant called “Culshaw’s” on the ground floor.
The Not-So-Good Bits
* Bathrobes in the room would have been nice.
* The wardrobe took up a lot of the entry way and seemed like an afterthought to the room furnishings. It looked slightly tired and out of place.
* I can’t rate this value-for-money because for what it is, it’s more a $150/160 joint than $199+.
* If you are an Entertainment Book member, you get a significant discount off the promotional rate. The staff are not aware of this - I had to show them. They assumed it was applicable to the other property in North Adelaide which is not the case. I found this out after I had booked and paid. It would have been nice if they had gone the extra mile and given me vouchers for breakfast.
T. M.
Excellent location for work, rest and play. A carparking building is adjacent to the hotel and the hotel provides passes enabling subsidised parking which is great when travelling via a rental car. Buffet Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Will be back next time I go to Adelaide.
N. C.
The majestic roof garden hotel is nestled in Adelaides east end with some of our cafes, bars and resteraunts at your door, our favourite being Nola bar. The hotel's location on Frome road is quiet but close to everything, expecially our east facing room. The room itself was lovely and clean, very comfortable for us. We didn't try the food but the menu had good variety and was reasonably priced. Hot water was also essentially instant which was very nice. Only complaint is there's no price list for the mini bar!
P. T.
Nice location if you need to be downtown, room was fine, staff was nice. The wifi was very slow and they wanted to charge for every little thing.. not even free bottled water in the room. As others mentioned the roof is underwhelming but at least it has a roof. Next time I'll stay in Glenelg
T. L.
A solid stable over the years.
We've been staying at the Majestic Roof Garden hotel since about 2004 - whether for short overnight stays on the way back to Kangaroo island from conferences or teaching interstate, medium length stays for visits to the city or occasional week-to-ten day stays for things like Womadelaide and general gallivanting.
It's small, personal and the rooms are generally excellent (if you lime morn ing sun, go for the east side)....the suits are great and spacious (although watch out for those on level one as the glare from the spotlight on outside facade can be intrusive)
It's changed a little over the years - less views in 2020 than there were in 2004 on the roof top - the shadow from nearby skyscrapers makes afternoon picnics less fun in the winter months - but it's still a cracker of a place to stay - right in the middle of town, great little restaurant downstairs (Culshaws) - and loads of opportunities for eats and ents in nearby Rundle St.
Occasionally I try somewhere else - Oaks in Glenelg or North Terrace, the nearby Pullman, Mayfair on King William, Mantra on Frome, the Treasury or an apartment in North Adelaide - but it's always good to go back to the solid performance and friendly faces at the Majestic
Choice of valet or self-park, good room service menu and the staff are attentive, kind and discrete - huge shout outs to Derek and Samuel who have been beacons of excellence int he past year or so.
Only downside is that can get expensive (as do all Adelaide hotels) in mad-March....and the new TVs are designed for guests to use their own Netflix or other streaming accounts....I miss the in room movies showing new blockbusters ahead of screen, and must make a mental note to travel with laptop and HDMI connectors in figure so can stream from Apple TV as the new TVs are a bit clunky
T. M.
We didn't use any of the restaurant/room service facilities as there were so ***y good cheap options right by the hotel. All of the main attractions (casino and botanical gardens) were within walking distance. Being close to ***y eateries we did not use the hotel services but the menu seemed varied featuring local produce and wines.

Just right
Nice rooms ..great location. Not noisey. Clean n fresh.
C. P.
Perfect location, lovely and comfortable rooms. Room service is incredible as it comes from the chef at Culshaw's. Views are not spectacular (except from the roof garden) but you won't care.
R. B.
One Of The Best.
Undoubtedly one of the best Hotels I've stayed in, regardless of price or Star Rating
Perfectly situated in the East End of Adelaide, for 5 nights during the busy festival season.
Spacious room and well thought our bathroom ( a real rarity these days).
Very little noise from the street, halls or other rooms, and pretty much the most comfortable bed I've slept on. Ever.
Exceptional friendly service from all staff from the moment I made the booking 6 months prior, until collecting our bags they stored for a few hours after the 11am checkout.
The rooms were cleaned and organised meticulously on a daily basis, even organising and straightening my pile of shoes into pairs.
While we did not eat in the restaurant, the room service was fast, great value and excellent quality food. Maybe a couple of extra, simple menu options like a Margarita Pizza and some wedges. But that's just penny pinching.
Highly recommended and will definitely stay again next time we're in Adelaide.
Also for the BEST available rate.
Call or email the hotel directly.
Forget the websites where you pay upfront. None of those sites came close. Or even the hotels own website....

Without a doubt the best kept secret in Adelaide. Great value 300 metres to the main part of Rundle St.
Rooms are large comfortable and the place looks as if it was built last week!!!
Breakfast buffet is exceptional. All staff thru to cleaners were friendly helpful and sincere.
Cheers Henk Reinking

Great rooms good price location location
H. T.
Excellent staff and the room I stayed, which is actually in level 1, was something I have not seen before. Truly value for your money. I recommend this hotel and walking distance from the main mall and lot of food cuisine selections.
s. l.
Excellent stay, amazing staff and service, very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay there again, wouldnt look else where. Cooked breakfast and dinner five stars also.
T. C.
It is in a great location being very close to the town centre and all the Staff were very friendly.
However! the guest laundry machines did not work and looking at the reviews this has been the case for quite some time. On my return to England I found that we had been charged on my credit card for a continental breakfast that we had not had. Still in dispute over that one. This has caused me to mark the Hotel down. Adelaide was a great place though.
T. C.
Culshaw's restaurant dinner on a Friday night. Small place but well set out. Nice food, good service. Good example of hotel restaurant. Loved that they highlight Australian Natives in their menu.
R. D.
Very nice hotel. Excellent room, great bed, efficient internet. Outstanding bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space. Very good sized TV. Reception very good. Highly recommended hotel.
T. M.
Our room was luxurious stocked with a full minibar of South Australia products. Everything spotlessly clean. I did stay at the Stamford Plaza (A$270 a nite incl. breakfast) for the rest of the long weekend (see separate review) but will definitely stay at the Majestic again for next year's WOMAD.
A. B.
Good price, very nice and large rooms with great staff. Everything was smooth and simple. Nice garden on the roof. The hotels location is very convenient to many cafés and boutique bars in the city's east end.
M. K.
Lovely people, clean spacious rooms. My advice would be to ask for a balcony room on the Frome St side as they open onto the street. I spend a week a month here and always walk away happy. Only downside is the 'gym'... Not really sure you can call it that.
G. M.
Fantastic Stay! Rooms were clean, beds not too soft! Heaps of restaurants just out the front door. Staff friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Majestic while in Adelaide for a conference nearby and really enjoyed the hotel. Hotel is right next to Rundle Street and there were heaps of great rstaurants to choose from. Be very careful when choosing a car park to go in. The breakfast buffet was generous, with plenty of choice for continental or cooked breakfast.
W. F.
The venue on the roof top function room was very nice. The catering / food provided was tasty and it's a nice view of the Adelaide cbd and surrounding area even in the thick of winter. Would go again gladly!
A. E.
Very happy with this place.
Spacious room, king bed, separate bath and shower.
p. w.
Room was lovely with balcony but as a frequent Melbourne visitor(pre Covid) I thought the price was quite high ($249).Similar rooms in Melbourne are $130 to $170.We were also a bit miffed with the rooftop garden not having something up there where you could buy a drink/food to sit down and enjoy the view. All the staff were friendly that we dealt with.
T. d. J.
Great place stay when visiting Adelaide very central to everything all within walking distance. Staff really friendly and make you feel welcomed suggest to get a room with a balcony room very spacious and comfortable as well as clean nice bathroom facilities.
H. S.
The Majestic Rooftop was recommended to us, for a last minute booking in Adelaide. Rooms and service were amazing, incredible vale for a twin share, four star room at $118 dollars. Also, the staff were absolutely incredible. When our car broke down, the staff generously arranged for our car to be towed to the hotel and stored in the valet parking area for minimal charge. Especial thanks to Shaun for making this happen! Would recommend the Majestic Rooftop to anyone. 👌🏼
T. M.
***y attractions in Adelaide are within a 20 minute walk. Definitely preferable to the opposite side and very quiet even though it's above a main street. The hotel staff are lovely and were a great help with our various questions. We were …
K. B.
Lovely large rooms, but 1st or 2nd floor are seriously illuminated by large orange street lights which the blockout curtains don't 100% protect you from. If you love a dark room, request higher floor or back lane facing. Otherwise would recommend. Parking with Wilson in the back lane is easy and convenient, but yes, you pay a discounted $22 per 24hr for it.
M. A.
Very professional. Great room. Nice bed. Enough said.
N. M.
Superior king room good size, decent size bathroom. Walking distance to everything. Only disappointment no Fox footy for AFL on channel selection.
s.
Great location, very central for Adelaide. Rooms are clean, tidy and functional with comfortable beds and large TVs. Walk in shower and bathroom very good.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
P. N.
Incredibly central place to stay with short walking distances to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and the service is wonderful. If you have a car make sure you look into car parking options.
M. R.
I stay here everytime I visit Adelaide for work...clean rooms, friendly staff and right in the heart of Adelaide..the last few times I have been lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite room which makes it even more comfortable...will not stay anywhere else when I Adelaide.
J. M.
Visited the Roof Top Garden for drinks but didn't realise there is no bar on the roof. Drinks were bought downstairs in the bar and taken up. There is an internal phone on the roof to call the restaurant for food. Great views of the hills (east) but no view for sunset.
A. D.
This hotel is centrally located in Adelaide near Rundle street and has places to eat and shopping destinations nearby. Adelaide tourist attractions like Botanical gardens, art gallery etc are also nearby. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. They provide room service and also have minibar. The hotel also has a couple of restaurants although food here is more expensive than outside. There is no pool in the hotel and it does not have any city views. Overall this is a very good hotel to stay at Adelaide and at around A$125 it is also a decent value for money.
N. F.
Great location, beautiful hotel, room was a good size and modern. Buffet breakfast was delish!
E.
Great place. We enjoyed our stay very clean too.
D. M.
Great location in the middle of town with large, clean, modern rooms. Friendly staff as well. Great rooftop area with tables and chairs and a beautiful view over the city and to the hills.
F. A.
Good position (5/5), kind staff (5/5), good restaurant (4/5), excelent wifi signal (5/5), clean and large room (5/5). The only problem... the air conditioning was too noisy (2/5)!
S. V.
Right in the city. Rooms are a good size and have very nice and new bathrooms. Also has awesome parking options. 10/10 would sleep again.
A. M.
Location, room and service were impeccable. Very spacious room and bathroom (great bath tub too), and the staff was absolutely adorable.
M.
Clean spacious rooms and staff were lovely. Awesome location for restaurants and cafes. Breakfast buffet was great too.
K. K.
Beautiful views, very attentive staff and a truly private 'private function' without being locked away from the world. Food was nice as well, but I'd advise a multi course package as the servings are conservative.
J. D.
Andrew, Marisa and the rest of the team are amazing, friendly, accommodating and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble, I couldn't recommend The Majestic Rooftop more for any kind of event!
T. M.
Rooms are very presentable and comfortable. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
M. S.
Disappointed with the actual roof garden. Small and no real bar or garden. There is a seating area but this space is toyally uneer utilised. The service was great. The receptionist guy was very helpful and friendly.
r. c.
Great location, room very clean and tidy, service excellent. Air conditioner in room is loud and hard to get the temp at desired level
J. W.
Lovely well appointed rooms, friendly staff, great food and service. Be happy to come again.
M. B.
Nice food and we'll cooked Aussie meats. ..croc...roo..barra. But not at all classy setting. ..
Just wooden tables and no cloths and jammed tight.
And NOT roof top just saying.
F. B.
3.5 really. Lights in the bathroom are too dim, makes it hard to shave. Tap is way too close to basin, makes it hard to wash your hands. Other than that quite good for the price
E. U.
Was looking at venues for a 21st and asked the functions coordinator a lot of (probably silly) questions! Even though it didnt fit my budget and I wasnt able to book there, the coordinator was lovely and very helpful, highly recommend booking here for function :)
S. W.

A good hotel. Beautiful bathroom, not great service from the reception staff though. Check in and check out took a long time.
P. M.
There is no bar on the rooftop. The ground floor restaurant has a separate seating area where you can enjoy a quiet drink.
K. B.
Very helpful staff, the accommodation was excellent
B. &. L. C. S.
Barossa's only 100% locally owned and operated cab/taxi provider Barossa and Light Cab Service, highly recommend the Majestic Roof Garden Hotel to all our customers needing accommodation in Adelaide.
M. L.
I thoroughly enjoyed staying here - it is in the middle of the city and around the corner from some great pubs and restaurants.
I'm definitely come here again when I next visit Adelaide!
N. G.
Dinner with friends, we were seeking something a bit quieter and upmarket from the Rundle Street fare. Menu was contemporary and showcased South Australian produce, great match of wines and sensational desserts.
M. T.
