Very nice and clean, little old layout but they are in the planning process of upgrading it all. Very friendly reception and a lovely dog to greet you. Would definitely return for the reasonable pricing and comfortable stay. Tennis court on the property and awesome caves nearby. BBQ facilities available as well.

If I could give Helen and Mike a 20/10 I would. I could not have asked for more hospitable hosts. They made mine and my boys stay so comfortable and were so accommodating. I cannot fault the management in the slightest. Highly recommend for a budget motel in the area. Will definitely be back!!

Neat and Clean room with extra bed and blankets, towels for everyone, small fridge with a milk packet in it, WiFi (though we didn't use it), TV, kettle, small pouches for coffee and sugar, attached bathroom and toilet with small packs of toiletries , extra chairs - the room had everything we could have asked for. We arrived late in the night but staff arranged the keys for us. The hotel is built in such a way that one can park their vehicles right outside their room - so handling luggage was super easy. The staff was warm and ready to help with a smile.

Cannot fault our experience here on what was an incredibly busy Easter weekend in Mount Gambier. Hotel management went above and beyond to ensure our every want and need was met. Rooms were large and spacious, clean and fresh, every essential amenity well appointed for both adults and children. Very happy and cannot wait for our next opportunity to return. Thanks for making our stay a home away from home, incredibly grateful xx

Yes, it looks a kinda old and outdated. The reason why i gave 4 stars is because of the CLEANLINESS.. Shower Towel + Bedding was so clean. The comfort of the bed is not that bad, its also not that good.

This place was the highlight of our Melbourne to SA roadtrip. Pretty much because of the new owners Hellen and Mike. They were so welcoming!me and my husband felt so comfortable and we fell in love with their friendly dog Dakota. We ended up having a drink with them on new years!! They are such lovely people! The hotel is also very clean,quiet and beds are comfy. Will def be back!! Thanks guys! Pánni & Sahand

Friendly staff but have to upgrade little a bit like showers and smell in the rooms and stove. Eventually, they have provided milk, fridge and bath wash. Overall decent experience.

Not sure why the other competitors would want to put up their negative fake reviews other than not wanting competition. If you're looking for affordable accommodation then this is only a 5 minute drive from the town centre. Pleasant stay & good facilities for wheel chair users too. Plenty of parking & lots of rooms available in peak periods. The motel has changed ownership I've been told but suggestions to the owners would hopefully improve any other aspects. Mobile data use can be limited but that's not the motels fault, hopefully they can get the mobile carriers to improve better coverage soon within the rooms.

New hosts John & Annie are friendly and helpful. My room was huge! It was welcoming and comfortable, a great sleep on a perfectly firm mattress. Clean and quiet, I'll be back. Thank you.

Good place, it was a bit pest prone (it's Australia) but overall it was decent and worth the price. Location was close to the main centre of Mount gambier, however, the service is fairly lacking. Throughout our stay the bin wasn't cleaned and towels were not changed. The lock on the front door doesn't reliably work and we were forced to ask staff to open it for us, whose solution was to ask them for help if the door had issues in the future.

Stayed here recently and wanted to say how lovely it was. The gardens are beautiful, it was busy but i found it to be quiet as it is a little out of town. Lovely receptionist, who also helped me plan my few days around and rooms were spacious. Yummy breakfast too!!

Quiet, clean & comfortable albeit a bit tired. Staff were friendly & helpful. Stayed with a group (car club) so we had breakfast & evening meals there. They were fabulous, catering to all dietry needs. We would definately stay there again.

Its ok for short stay, the room is the same u see on the net but a bit run down and need make over to look good. Good bed, good air con, ok for batch room. The hotel has got potential to make 4 star, a lot of land space.

Small, intimate, elegant, peaceful hotel. Perfect location. Warm, friendly, helpful staff. Tasteful breakfast, quiet atmosphere. Central yet quiet location. The router provided by the hotel was a nice and very useful touch.

Booked a standard double room. Room had a large double plus a single bed. Two chairs, tv, aircon, hair dryer, storage cupboards, mini fridge and tea station. Free wifi as well.
