Great hotel! Nice and big rooms. Reception very friendly and helpful. Room service quick and respectful of the time given. Very interesting tablet in room that you can use for info, as a phone and to order room service. Nice welcome glass of bubbles! Breakfast super nice with great view on the stadium

Simply stunning, state of the art, hotel with vitality ...central to the city! On top of the Oval so you don’t miss an event. Food is exceptional! Staff are friendly with a professional grace! Nothing is too much trouble. Great martinis!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Valet parking and room service were fantastic. The rooms are smart technology controlled which was very nice. The beds are comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean and modern. However the room was a little smaller than I expected however still very comfortable and lovely view. The restaurants were fantastic. Nicely presented and good size portions. Our server was very attentive and professional. Great weekend.

The most luxurious hotel. The views of the Oval and the Parklands was just stunning. Couldn't get enough of it. Nice, comfortable room and super friendly and helpful staff. Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen was an experience I'll never forget. Stunning interiors and the best staff. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Hope to be back soon.

Had overnight stay at Oval Hotel. Professional staff with very modern design throughout. Room service dinner was nice and there is a tablet which has room functionality (temp, lights, curtain control).

Stayed for our wedding anniversary and we had that $100 SA great escape voucher. The hotel is expensive but if you have the money the room is worth it. Bed so comfy, massive bathroom I ever seen. It was wonderful. Highly recommend it. The major let down and why I gave it 3 stars was the restaurant. We had a $50 food voucher so we went down for breakfast. The service was slow. The food wasn't fresh and only one bacon. The worst of all my husband asked for salt and pepper. The pepper came in a shaker but the salt in a small bowl. No spoon with it so my husband used his fingers to get it. Then the waiter took it and took it to another table. We were shocked and disgusted. We told reception and they said they will address the issue if they don't know.

For a the summer fling deal this place was worth the deal. The studio king room we stayed in was lovely but the view out the window was nothing special sadly. Due the places normal price and what you get it’s probably not worth the cost.

I want to come back but it's all booked. It's just too popular, people can't stay away. Burgers are so freaking tasty and the room service can't get any better with that miny bar you've got in each room. Lemme in I need to feel the luxury again! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Stayed here for the second time. Room amazing, location superb, welcome drink appreciated. However breakfast left a lot to be desired. Very ordinary food, terrible service and expensive. I ordered the Continental Breakfast - 3 dry pastries, a bit of meat, slice of smoked salmon, 2 very small pieces of cheese, some fruit and a small serve of rolled oats with yoghurt. Had to ask for milk & sugar for our coffee, and salt & pepper for hubby’s bacon & eggs which was a tiny serve and looked very unappealing on the plate. Last year our breakfast was wonderful - attentive staff, great food and constant refills of filtered coffee and water. Shame it’s become so ‘ordinary’. You expect much more from this class of hotel 😞

Although the room was very nice and was smart technology controlled it was very small almost the same can be said for breakfast. The food was very nice but very small portions especially for the cost of the dish. Service upon entry was excellent and when the shift changed the level of service continued. The restaurant had 50/50 service. It definitely changed to which server visited you. Be wary of parking fees which I found expensive especially since I had a room.

Perfection. Clean. Sharp interior. Great foods at reasonable price. Nice view. Good sound proofing. Quiet but capable air conditioning. Will come back soon. :)

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, the facilities were very nice and perfect for a nice getaway. It's location is perfect for anyone attending an event at the Adelaide Oval, but otherwise it's location isn't that great. However, if you get a northern room you get a nice view of the parklands. Might be a bit on the pricier end of the scale but if you are okay with the location then you shouldn't be disappointed.

Beautiful rooms. Plenty of space. The reception foyer is lovely. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The little things like welcome drinks and nice coffee in the reception all made it a great stay. There was an AFL Grand final going on one night and we couldn't even hear it in our room.
G.
Very well appointed hotel in a great location. My wife & I enjoyed everything about our stay. From valet parking, reception, room service, to restaurants, staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Well done 👍
Loved the mod cons in the room and view across Adelaide Oval for breakfast was awesome!
R. T.
Superfast check-in, room was awesome, comfy bed, immaculate condition, awesome staff, BUT, we ordered 2 of the KING HENRY CUT RIBEYE, KANGARILLA GRAIN FED steaks ($92.00) each, from the Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen, I've never had something that pricey, and was expecting an incredible experience, and I have to say we were really dissapointed, both were really tough, not marbled as they stated, my wife had the scotch steak ($57) that was amazing, you can imagine our dissapointment, maybe we had an unlucky cut, but for $92, I was really looking forward to incredible. If we do go back, for all the other great reasons, but we wouldn't be getting the King Henry, definately not worth the difference.

A genuine treat staying here. Views are beautiful over the Adelaide Hills. Staff were lovely. Food was excellent. I highly recommend staying here.
Having breakfast watching the Redbacks warming up was great too.
C. K.
From the moment my partner & I stepped into Reception, to our departure the next morning, our stay was magnificent. The sweeping views from Reception, our most comfortable room & the Adelaide Oval views in Bespoke, were truly breath taking. Staff were very friendly & helpful & our meals delicious. Will certainly return to Adelaide's luxury hotel.

My son and I met in the city for a lovely catch up and we received the greatest service and an absolutely amazing room! Living in the country and re-visiting city life certainly has it's benefits when you can stay at such a beautiful place. Thank you Oval Hotel for being so welcoming and quiet :)
J. J.
This place effing rules... But its not without its issues. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics of the actual room but they are amazing! The room has a tablet that controls the curtains, lights, room temp, billing, room service, etc. The shower is huge with both large rain head and a second hose shower head with push button start water and dial for water pressure. The mirror is lined with a ring light that has several shades of light that change when you tap the mirror. Room service was FAST and the food DELICIOUS. Reception staff were friendly and efficient even while busy.
Pros:
Friendly fast service
Tasty af food
Amazing rooms
Complimentary welcome drink
Full Foxtel access
Cons:
Parking (price and inefficient)
Service deficiency for non-game attending guests
Cons are being picky though. It was a pretty amazing experience including the Bespoke Wine Bar dinner which I will review separately.
Thanks for a lovely night to both the Oval Hotel and my amazing girlfriend who makes every stay a pleasure regardless of venue ❤
T. G.
Great hotel, rooms are modern and smart (ipad for ac, lights, room service etc.) Staff are fantastic and professional. Room service is NOT like a front bar counter meal.. more like they opened a Cafe in your room. Showers have good pressure and the beds are comfortable. If I had to pick on anything it would be that you can't open the blinds just a little bit or halfway - they are either open or closed.
L. T.
Oval hotel was clean, modern and lovely lighting. There was only 1 staff at the reception - more staff needed during the check in times because we were standing there for 15 mins and there were other guests waiting as well. Also, more amenities would be nice and parking should be waived for guest who are staying the night ( cost $29.00).
A. J.
Brilliant. The best service ever from Sharad in the Bespoke Bar and Restaurant. We need more of customer service people like him. He looked after us last time we stayed as well. Love the guy, so knowledgeable friendly, knows his wines. He is just so wonderful.
S. T.
We attended the Oval Hotel in Adelaide for drinks and had the get a Uber home. It was very fortunate we met Audi in reception who went out of way to organise the Uber. She helped with sending the request, spoke to the driver for the meeting place and then escorted us to it. We have never experienced such remarkable service. Stephen and Dalia

This is one of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed in. The rooms were perfect, the food was awesome, the service was exceptional and it was very memorable. We will definitely be back again in the future.

Absolutely 5 Star. Second time we have stayed. This time for our 49thAnniversary. Reception staff friendly & helpful.Room cleanliness A1, view of Cathedral & parklands excellent. Night manager rang to see if we needed anything & were comfortable.
Breakfast dining experience superb. Thankyou Oval Hotel.
J. B.
Beautiful clean Hotel. Amazing views in all directions. Great food. Who wouldn't want to dine whilst looking out over the famous Adelaide Oval.
N.
Great hotel- I would love to get quarantined here for 2 weeks (if that was still a thing). I could play with the smart room functions for hours.
S. C.
We were very excited to use our Great State Voucher and stay last night. From easy parking to friendly check in and a lovely welcome drink to then be in awe of the wonderful very modernly appointed room. Curtains automatically open when you walk into the room during the day. Lovely and close to walk over the bridge for Dinner and then to return to the room for room service coffee and dessert. Bed and pillows were the best I have slept in a Hotel. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Great 11 am check out in the morning. I can not fault anything. We will most certainly be back. We have a new favorite in Adelaide.

9/10 - Wonderful experience staying at the Oval hotel. Well appointed rooms packed with intuitive, easy to use technology. Fantastic views from the rooms and beautifully designed and decorated throughout. Reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms are a tad on the small side though..
N. G.
Amazing hotel for the price paid, room wasn’t massive, but more than enough room for a short stay at an Adelaide Oval function. Staff super friendly and more than accommodating for a 3 month old
View from our room was superb.
K. S.
Well here we go. The much talked about Oval hotel. We went with the voucher. On arrival we were a bit disappointed that there was no bar or restaurant open until 3pm. Room service only 😖.
Disappointed 😞.
So we got room service. 30 minutes later. We got a cold club sandwich and chips. We were so hungry, we ate it anyway.
Finally the bar opens. Staff were not friendly and unable to open the door for us to be on the balcony of the oval. Finally they found a key🙃.
Very little furniture for everyone to sit out there. After a few nice places to sit. Everyone had cheap outdoor furniture to sit on.
Ok so it's time for a beer, the sun is shining.
No they only have five beers. Omg! Are you joking. Seriously pathetic.
We had a glass of wine instead. 🍷
We did not have dinner at the Oval hotel.
Prices were ridiculous. But more than anything, menu was not exciting.
Carparking $29- for the night. If you go out you pay double.
The room....
King room. Nice but not exciting. Bed comfy. Bathroom nice. View ok.
Not thrilled by the tablet controls for everything.
Fine while you are awake but not great when you are asleep.
Breakfast......
Photos look nice.
Food was nice. But again food was not hot. Eggs not poached but boiled 🙄.
No butter for toast.
Only one piece of 🥓. Not hot. Again really 😒.
Ok times up.
Yes it was ok. Would we go again, probably not.
C. W.
Experience here was really lovely!! Check in and out process was quick and easy. The rooms were really nice and clean with a decent view of the parklands!! Would stay here again.
D. H.
Rooms are always great, have stayed a number of times. However in room dining options are very poor
L. R.
This was our second stay here using a SA Great State Voucher. Again, this place was awesome. As a black level member with GHA Discovery hotel, the check in Lovers recognised this and we received an upgrade. THANK YOU!!
Love all the digital controls for curtains, lights etc, the large tablet for room service and restaurant menus. The bed is very very comfy and the bathroom toiletries are great. We tried a couple of things from the mini bar and I can highly recommend the Melba block of chocolate and the salty caramel peanuts. We ate at Bespoke restaurant for dinner and breakfast and couldn't fault it. Menu was reasonably priced and the food was delicious and superbly presented. Happy to see that my favourite tea Madura, was served for breakfast. Staff are always friendly and helpful and genuinely happy to see us. Make sure to check out the wine collection and the dried aged beef in the restaurant.
We'll be back again in a couple of weeks!!

Absolutely brilliant. All staff were friendly and wonderful (in particular the assistant manager on check-in). Our room overlooking the cathedral was sensational, modern and clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast at Bespoke was delicious, great views overlooking the oval. This is the best hotel in Adelaide, no question.
G. R.
Dined in the Bespoke restaurant. First class service , magnificent view overlooking Adelaide oval and wonderful food . A great experience which we would highly recommend.
M. S.
stayed here recently for my friends birthday (3 adults). amazing location which was walking distance to a lot of restaurants, cafes etc. the room was very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly.
A few things i will point out though…
- there were 3 people staying in the room they had only placed 2 of most things (water, coffee cups, wine glasses, tea etc.)
- we ordered room service and i had selected ‘coeliac’ for my burger and fries however when the food was brought up to our room the server mentioned that the burger is GF but the fries are not. They should have mentioned this on their menu or allowed a different GF option for the side. I did not eat the fries so it went to waste unfortunately.
- after we ate we called the reception and the room service number multiple times to come and pick up the dinner plates and food etc but no one picked up and we had to leave everything on a pile on the table.
Overall i would recommend this hotel 😊
M. D.
Great place, great value. We stayed mid-week, $230 for basic room, very modern. Parking overnight $29 which was good value.
C. M.
Modern facility but focus on details in the room could improve. Part of our room wasn't clean. So improvement in room cleaning required.
L. G. B.
Great experience staying at the Oval Hotel. Good location with easy underground parking. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. We received a welcome drink on arrival.
The breakfast was so delicious! Cool room keys which are literally a cardboard card! Modern facilities- even the curtains opened & closed at the press of a switch. The shower head was amazing. Spacious bathroom. Restaurant is located on the third floor with large windows facing the oval. It’s so cool how this hotel has been built onto the same facility as the oval. Would be great to stay there after a concert. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is that at 10:30am a staff member knocked on our door asking to come in to check the fridge if it needed refilling. I found that to be extremely unprofessional as our check out time was 11am and right at that point my husband was in the bathroom not knowing this staff member had come into our room. I didn’t feel comfortable with continuing to get myself ready until he left. Other than that we loved everything about our stay. It was nice and quiet. Comfortable bed.

Gorgeous hotel in a fantastic location!
We stayed in a cathedral king suite and were thrilled with the contemporary room with gorgeous views. The location is perfect as it's walking distance to Adelaide city hub and the gorgeous North Adelaide precinct.
The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom just divine. The only add on I would suggest is a shelf to be able to place items on in the bathroom.
The staff were all friendly, and generally helpful (only issue we had was around a returned room service item which could have been handled better). The bar staff at the Bespoke Wine Bar were ultra friendly, helpful and deserve a special mention.
The most engaging and fun staff though were definitely the valet crew. They were always helpful, on point with their suggestions and extremely polite.
Have travelled to many places and stayed in quite a few hotels and we would confidently say that Oval Hotel is right up there with the best of them in the 4 star category.

Really beautiful place to stay. Rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfy. Check in was easy. We had beautiful views of the parklands and cathedral from our room. Breakfast at Bespoke was also really good with views of inside the stadium from the windows. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be recommending this place to everyone
G. D.
Arrived and given a friendly welcome by valet parking assistant and hotel reception. Room was comfortable and room view of the parklands and cathedral was lovely. Complimentary drink with our stay was nice. Lovely breakfast and menu choices all at reasonable prices.
Would happily recommend to others and look forward to a return visit.

The hotel and staff were great. Lucy in reception was fantastic. The food was a bit disappointing. Ordered room service. Salad was supposed to have radish and walnuts. Paid $10.50 for a bowl of leaves and some chopped avocado and cherry tomatoes. Daughters ordered chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was dry and stringy and lettuce wasn't washed because there was grit and dirt in the leaves. We'd booked breakfast with our stay but when we arrived at the bar there wasn't a table for us and we had to wait for one to be set up. The food was plentiful but not outstanding. They also forgot my mushrooms and hash browns but I didn't bother because there was so much left over anyway. Apart from that it's a lovely, relaxing place to stay with fantastic views of beautiful Adelaide.

Stayed a night at the Oval Hotel for my husbands birthday. The rooms were clean, contemporary and had amazing views of the cathedral and city.
Service was too notch, we could not fault the attention we received. From welcome drinks to supplying toothbrushes when we forgot ours. We had a enjoyable stay.
Highly recommend the breakfast too, amazing views overlooking Adelaide Oval

We booked the "Romantic Night Out" package for our wedding anniversary. It was to include dinner and breakfast. They were both restricted menus and we still had to pay extra. Parking is not free as stated. The TV in the room did not work. Called them twice and they fixed it. They said they would change our room if it happened again but it was 11pm and we could not be bothered when it went off for the 3rd time. When checking out they tried to charge us for dinner. Otherwise it was a good night.
T. A.
Friendly staff and very welcoming reception. We will be back for sure. The view from the 6th floor 👌🙏🙌 was stunning.

Welcoming message on the television screen!!
Very modern, extremely well appointed rooms. Big comfy bed and pillows. Super soft bedding and towels. Breakfast was amazing continental share platter plus one hot cooked breakfast each.
Great view out across the Torrens River.
R. V.
I thought about giving three stars but that felt a bit harsh for what is essentially a nice new hotel. Very nice bar and restaurant area, nice touch with the welcome drink at check in, trouble is the white wine is horrible, we had to go straight to the bar to fix that leaving the welcome drink behind. Seemed quite understaffed at times, people queued up. Maybe give us a drink voucher for the bar, then the reception staff don't have to leave the counter and serve drinks while people are lined up waiting. Our room was quite tight, we paid $60 extra for a studio room which is supposedly bigger, so I would hate to see the normal room. Well appointed with modern decor. Nice location just outside the hustle and bustle. They send you down to Next Gen for the gym, which would be annoying if it were raining. All-in-all nothing overly special here except the location. Oh our room was on level 2 with a view of the church, however you can't see it for the trees.
D. L.
Excellent hotel. Very convenient during the stay in Adelaide on account of the very accessible location and central location - you'll usually need to stretch the legs to go anywhere other than the stadium but the location is great, facilities are high quality and the rooms are gorgeous
R. L.
We chose the Oval Hotel to use our SA Voucher and are so glad we did. Great service upon arrival with a welcome drink. A lovely beverage in the Bespoke bar at sunset and a fabulous night sleep in one of the most comfortable beds. Special kudos to one of the staff -Go Go, who made our night and breakfast the next morning with his bright personality and exceptional customer service. Thanks Oval Hotel we will be back !
B.
An incredible experience. The service and staff are extraordinary and friendly, the room was beautiful and the views are fantastic. Absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay at the hotel.
A. B.
The hotel was pretty much what I expected. Very nice, new and clean. Staff were good, could have been a little happier to be there especially when they were checking in newly weds.
However if I was reviewing the restaurant my review would be 1 star.
It was such a let down to end out stay.
The place was filthy. Not 1 table was cleared in the hour we were there.
Staff were THE WORST I've ever dealt with.
Almost every table complained and many people walked out disgusted! Honestly I could go on about how awful it was but I really hope it was a once off occurrence.
A. G.
Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Adelaide. Clean, modern, excellent rooms. Bed is fantastic and room is nice and quiet. Parking is easy and there is a great bar and restaurant in the hotel.
R. O.
Stayed here for two nights. Bed very comfortable, beautiful bathroom, lovely service and the welcome drink was a nice touch. Venue, being newly built, has stunning views and location was perfect for our stay in Adelaide.
O. H.
Superb design, clean rooms and wonderful staff all-around!
Our manager Anthony went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible and showed great professionalism in his work.
Breakfast was one of the best if not the best in all Adelaide (hotels). Definitely worth including it when booking your stay!
R. W.
Bespoke wine bar has great views of Adelaide Oval as built up against the stadium. Service great and staff very attentive. Most of our group enjoyed their meals. My flat head was over cooked and dry but that was OK as it's a very hard fish to cook. I was offered another dish but was not hungry as the chips and greens were extremely good. I was given Mojito and not charged for the Flat Head. This could happen at any restaurant and I was very happy with their response and will definitely be going back. Please do not take this as a negative review as it is not. Just congratulating the restaurant for turning a negative into a positive.
M. P.
Fantastic experience. Quick check-in, surprised us with a welcome drink. Beautiful room with great views and full of technology. Our booking included breakfast which was amazing (delicious and huge) and we got a window seat which had fantastic views of the oval. Booked as a birthday present and it didn't disappoint. Will stay again sometime.
H. G.
Stay Feb 2021. Pleasant stay. Complimentary drink on arrival in the rather compact foyer area. No licensed bar. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our Great State voucher provided complimentary breakfast up to $70!!! Unfortunately, the restaurant was booked out so room service it was, arrived on time by a very friendly staff member & was nice & generous. Upon entering our room we were greeted by the distinctive aroma of newness! Lets be honest, there's nothing nicer than staying in a new hotel! The room was fresh, immaculately presented with modern, subtle finishes. King bed was extremely comfy. We had a small view, not great but ok. Roomy modern bathroom. The Great State offer is brilliant, $129, $29 parking, free brekky up to $70! This is a winner but be quick!

2nd time staying here, absolutely love it. Will be back again next month

Today my beautiful husband took me to High Tea at Adelaide Oval. Initially I felt it was very expensive but post-experience, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the service - exceptional on all levels. Emily the waitress, Tyler the Supervisor, Pasquale the Manager and Daniel the chef, seriously the personalised service was so awesome and made my Mithers Day perfect. Thank you all for your tireless efforts. I now can't wait to come and stay in your Cathedral Suite abd experience the Bespoke Restaurant. Perfection everyone, absolute perfection. Thank you so very much, such a pleasure.

Incredible.
That’s all I can say about the stay I had at the oval hotel. The staff and management went out of their way to make sure my partner and I had the best experience possible especially on our anniversary when we had some room difficulties, if I were to come back here again I would not hesitate. The bars and restaurants are also a big hit and all the rooms have absolutely incredible views. Will definitely return
j. j.
Beautifully appointed rooms with great views. Welcome drink on arrival is a great initiative. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food is very good and the staff in the restaurant, especially JD and Emily were absolutely fabulous. Great service and would highly recommend.
G. B.
The best hotel in adelaide we've stayed in with the best views from room, bar and dining area. Not the cheapest but worth it.
A. B.
Absolutely loved the place, room had stunning views of the cathedral, the restaurant overlooks the whole stadium. The customer service is amazingly great. Super friendly staff, rooms are spacious , great food options for mini bar and the bar.
Visited with the Great state voucher, whenever SAgov opens up next , oval should definitely be on your priority .

What an absolute delight it has been to stay at the Oval Hotel. The staff are exceptional and so friendly and warm. We were immediately greeted and made to feel welcome as we arrived early to check in our bags, we were informed our room was not yet ready (fair enough we arrived at 11am!). We checked in and were so surprised at our beautiful room and the bottle of sparkling kindly gifted to us for our 5 year anniversary. The room is a true 5 star room with all the latest technology, foxtel channels and lovely Evo toiletries in the bathroom- the rainfall shower is next level. Views are to die for. We will be back! Two truly happy guests.

What a FABULOUS Hotel!!! Spoilt, pampered and felt like royalty 😊. Spotless throughout. The outdoor pool was an extra bonus due to the weather. Rooms are pure luxury.
The staff, honestly, they couldn't be any more professional, whilst being so friendly.
Wonderful place
J. C.
Rooms were well appointed, not overly large and staff were always friendly. Loved the amazing views but would have been good to get a window with a view for breakfast- or be offered the option to move when a table became available.
Bed was so comfortable, towels were plush and gorgeous. Couldn’t quite figure out though how to get more lighting in the bathroom, other than the sensor night light, so that one person could shower etc without having to put all the lights on. Bit of trial and error but still didn’t find out the answer. At breakfast, which was good, we were told we would have a shared continental plate first, then ours of mains. But both these things came almost simultaneously which was a little annoying.
Other than these two bits of feedback though the only other thing is the word corridor walk to our level 3 rooms which surely doesn’t need to be so gloomy dark- felt like I was in the basement of some old building!
And other than that-lovely!!!

100%
Loved the oval hotel. Welcomed with a complimentary drink.
Room is good.
Shower is excellent. All moderate touch screen features throughout
I will come back
$229 for the night

My partner and I just recently stayed in a parkland king room and were completely blown away.
The view was incredible, the value for money was outstanding and the staff were exceptional! Specifically Erin and Connor at reception, they were so incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome!
10/10 would recommend and definitely coming back soon!

It’s all about the details!
Whether it’s the perfectly arranged mini bar on display under a glass counter top, the light fittings or the access key fashioned from wood, the Oval Hotel really delivers a luxurious and pleasurable stay.
From check in with courteous service and helpful suggestions, to sweeping views of the surrounding parkland, the only hotel in Adelaide that’s close to this level of luxury is the Mayfair.
It has a boutique and warm feel yet offers privacy with a designated lift to provide access to the accomodation levels.
That bed though - wow - so lush and comfortable and really appreciated the black out blinds which stopped all light coming into the room this morning as well as glazed windows which cut out the noise.
Highly recommend - one of the best stays in Adelaide!
B. H.
My wife and I stayed midweek and the Hotel is beautiful. Very simple to get to - the carpark and check in is very smooth. Staff were amazing, rooms were very cool.. love the views! We ate at Bespoke which is lovely. Great to have a jog around the river too in the morning.. really lovely hotel experience!
S. W.
Lovely hotel except kept getting lost in the lifts, but that was ok as there were a lot of people doing this ha ha ha
L. G.
The staff at Bespoke Bar are excellent. Their service and attention are excellent for our dinner experience. The food are excellent just the same for our dinner and breakfast. The room is modern and comfortable with a great view. Thank you all for a memorable stay.

Must be one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in Australia.
Perfectly clean and gorgeous. Beautiful room with breathtaking view, very comfy bed. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was huge and delicious 😋. Highly recommended and definitely will be back.

We stayed in the Cathedral Suite, which was a stunning room, massive and modern, double sided fire place, two large tv's, really top level design. Staff were friendly and nice as well..... but.....
Our disappointment was that for the money, it really wasn't that well equiped and the offering poor, considering what you get else where in Adelaide (Mount Lofty house, is amazing). This is an old school model of a hotel (certainly not boutique), where you are charged for EVERYTHING, and they give you the bare minimum, even when you stay in the Suite.
2 small sachets of instant coffee, UHT milk, small bathroom amenities (think travel pack size), no bubble bath, disappointing when you have a stunning view and bath tub. There was a french press, but totally useless unless you have brought coffee with you. No charging mat next to the beds either for your phone... but lots of USB ports. I think a Nespresso machine or similar in the room is simply standard these for any hotel that calls itself Boutique.
Dinner at Bespoke was tasty (steak cooked well), but nothing amazing, long waits for everything. Staff very friendly though and apologetic (we didn't complain, they mentioned it!). We ate at 7.45pm, and I think we were one of the last sittings. Tables good size, and views of the Oval are good.
They started laying for breakfast next to us (around 8.45pm, only just eating our main) and they put all the crockery, jam's and other breakfast items that would go on our table as well next to us, as well as for the table behind. Eat up and get out! was the vibe we got.
Beer menu rubbish, clearly it is still under some licence agreement with the main ground.
Maybe because the hotel isn't on the members side of the ground, they can't offer any decent craft beers. Mini-bars are never great in any hotel, but $11 for a 330ml bottle of Heineken in your room! No non-alcoholic options, other than Heineken Zero for my partner who doesn't drink.... coke, orange juice, sparkling water the only real options, not very high-end. We went over to 2KW and the non-alcoholic cocktails were next level.
At breakfast you have to pay extra for a barista made coffee (Breakfast was included in our price), the rest of it was ok... although, offering a continental and al carte menu is a lot of food! (we chose not to have the continental). I think offering one or the other and a barista made coffee would be a better offering.
It is worth staying here for the rooms and location, but this isn't an experience or luxury hotel. Go prepared.... take your own tea's, coffee, milk, shower gel, bubble bath and in-room drinks (Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic). If you like your Whiskey or spirits, the cut glass tumblers are brilliant, but just remember to take your own spirits!

Boutique hotel with unprecedented access to Adelaide Oval. Excellent proximity to CBD and surrounding parklands as well. Communal areas are beautifully arranged to emphasize views of the city and oval. Expect the screens around the oval to be showing cricket though, which detracts from the experience a little. Food at the restaurant was great and the included breakfast was generous. Rooms were we'll set out with a modern fit out.

Perfect for a weekend away! Be sure to enjoy all the spoils by booking dinner and doing the roof climb as well!

Had the pleasure of staying at the wonderful Oval Hotel a couple of weeks ago thanks to the SA Travel Voucher. Being a new venue was a drawcard for choosing to stay here but this can also mean there may be a few minor things that may need to be ironed out. The parkland and river views are fantastic and I personally liked staying at a place that is just out of the CBD (but within easy walking distance).
There are no parking options nearby other than the Hotel car park - it would be great if this could be incorporated into the up front booking cost. A couple of other minor points was an issue with the room key malfunctioning for a brief period of time, the shower was nowhere near hot enough and we found it impossible to connect the wifi via the TV.
There are many, many good points about staying at the Oval Hotel though starting from the welcome drink and pleasant staff. The room was classy, well appointed and had an enormous king size comfy bed. Also the restaurant was grand and inviting with many seating options. The included breakfast that we had was fabulous, with a grand view of the Adelaide oval surface and this experience was complimented by excellent wait staff.
I'd love to stay here again for a special occasion.

What is not to like. The views are amazing. It’s new and modern. The beds are devine. My only criticism would be how dark the corridors are.
But the staff were all attentive and willing to go above and beyond. A special shout out to Michael Sullivan who wirks in concierge/valet. What a fantastic attitude he brings to work...given the fact that the poor guy is surrounded by concrete as the valet parking is underground makes it even more amazing that he greets you with a smile on his face and nothing is too much trouble.
The breakfast was delicious.
Will definitely be returning as soon as i can make it happen

The whole stay was amazing, beautiful view! staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Restaurants were amazing and food was lovely and the location was very convenient. Would stay again.

Had an amazing experience here. From start to finish it was very luxurious and the best part was absolutely the breakfast - other hotels should take a leaf out of their book! Amazing service and dinner at restaurant as well. Keep it up guys

Can't fault the hotel. Lovely location and it's great overlooking the Adelaide Oval. Had a few hiccups in the restaurant at breakfast but put that down to teething problems with new staff. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable
A. J.
Fabulous venue offering great food and friendly service. Definitely recommend!

Loved the hotel.....just wished I knew about the birthday deal before I payed full price!

We had a great stay, perfect location, hotel beautifully blended into the amazing Adelaide Oval. Modern comfortable rooms, fantastic customer service by all staff, and breakfast was very tasty with views over Adelaide oval Thanks and keep up the great work 👍

Very quiet hotel with nothing much more to offer than being located in the Adelaide oval. Very clean rooms and clean hotel overall.
It has dimly lit corridors and a overpriced restaurant.apart from that if you looking to stay at a hotel that is not very busy and very very quiet than this is a place for you.

Great staff, excellent location.
Rooms, restaurants and food very good.

We stayed in a Parkland Room and dined in Five Regions Restaurant as a celebration. The room, the Bespoke Wine Bar, the Restaurant, the food and drinks served, room service breakfast and the service provided by each staff member with whom we came into contact were all excellent. We enjoyed magnificent views of Adelaide Oval.

This place is magic, designed to neatly fit around the oval, modern facilities and in-room services. Excellent staff and a nice drink on arrival. Loved it!

Our experience was soured somewhat within the 1st hour of our arrival. We stayed on a BBL game night and rang ahead that morning to enquire about onsite parking. We were told that our options were self park in the basement carpark for $29 per day or valet park for $45 per day. When we arrived to self park we were told at the gate that the only option on game days was valet parking, or we could turn around and park in an outside carpark. This was not what we had been advised hours earlier. Once we were settled in our room, we decided to head to the Bespoke bar for a drink at around 2.45pm (the match was starting at 5.40pm). We thought it may be closed, but we saw people in there having drinks so we walked up to the bar. A VERY rude waiter came rushing over to us asking "can I help you" in a "you don't belong in here tone" and after saying we wanted a drink, he told us VERY firmly that the bar was now for "members only" and that as we were not members we had to leave (oh and he never asked if we were members!). This is something that could have been fixed with a simple SIGN at the door. We were very well dressed as we were already going to a corporate box for the BBL that night, so how he knew we were not members is beyond me. We totally understand that hotel guests cannot expect to drink at the bar and watch a match for free. It was not that we were told to leave, it was very much a matter of how we were told. On check out day the person at the desk admitted we were given the wrong information about the parking on game day (but no mention of any part refund for $90 worth of valet parking). The check out person was also perplexed as to why we couldn't have a drink at the bar as, in his words "Bespoke doesn't normally change to members only on game day until 30-40 minutes prior to the game". He said he would bring it up with the Bespoke staff, but who knows. Would we stay again? Yes, for sure, but I we would email ahead and get details such as onsite parking and Bespoke bar times in writing. The room we stayed in was great, the bathroom was beautiful and the King sized bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a dinner in the Bespoke restaurant on our 2nd night and it was delicious with the waiting staff fabulous....just make sure you get what you can and can't do on game days in writing a day or so before hand and have it ready with you if you are told anything different. If it were not for the 1st hour I would have rated the Hotel a 4 or 5.

Night at Oval Hotel.
Presentation 10
Service
I would give it 10 but its a 5, trying to get in touch with reception is in possible. Tried calling had to go via the wine bar and asked them to pass on message to get a call back. Not sure if they were busy or just phone lines not working correctly.
Food
I would give it 10. Food arrived about 15mins later which i was impressed, it was perfectly cooked & cut to bite side. But unfortunately its an 8 only cause by the time I finished my scotch fillet it was cold. Dessert was amazing.
Staff
Amazing especially Jasime who was our waitress. She was very informative and wasn't overbearing.
Thank you

Finally a nice and new quality hotel in Adelaide. Service was perfect.
One minor annoyance AC panel and little green light on roof light up the entire bedroom all night long.
S. M.
What a beautiful hotel! Loved everything about our stay
S. D.
Upon arrival: valet staff- exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, courteous and just 5 star. 10/10.
Reception: Beautiful presentation. Promptly assisted to be checked in. Arrived at 2pm and told our room was not ready, offered a complimentary drink while we waited. 20 minutes later we were asked again to confirm our surname.. room still not ready. One hour later, had not been addressed by staff again. Asked someone how long until our room was ready and after 10 minutes told there was no progress on our room and they would try find us another to swap into. Approx 10 minutes later we had a room. Total of 80 minutes waiting from arrival.
Room: Stunning. Clean, tidy, modern. Shower and bathroom amazing. Small touches like sensor light in bathroom to provide night lighting was a great touch. Bed comfortable and overall room was 10/10. Touch screen controls for lights, blinds etc. Great size television and overall room size comfortable.
About 15 minutes after getting to our room we had a knock on the door for someone to fill the mini bar.. unsure why this wouldn’t have been done during the 80 minute delay in check in but minor inconvenience.
Room service: decided to order in and utilise the room service. Process easy, ordered from iPad supplied. Ordered 2 x Caesar salads; one with chicken, a side of fries and a side of corn. Also ordered a serve of cheesecake. 45 minutes later our meals arrived. Ceasar salads were a major disappointment. All aspects cold, including chicken and bacon. Croutons had good flavour however were cold and oil soaked. The salad had no dressing and also the egg was hard boiled and sliced into salad instead of poached which was in the description. No seasoning on tray and no dessert cutlery provided for dessert. Also had an item left off (corn dish) and had to wait about 20 minutes for that to be bought up. Portion sizing was adequate and only reason overall score 3/10. We decided not to order breakfast as weren’t confident in the room service food.
Checkout: friendly staff and easy process. Was not asked how our evening/experience was though which was odd considering it was day 2 of being open you would have thought feedback would be highly sought after. It wasn’t until we returned downstairs to valet that we were again greeted by the same attendant we had seen upon arrival and he asked how our night was.
The hotel looks beautiful. It has great views, stunning finishings and decor is exceptional. Restaurant looked stunning . Overall the lack of attention given during the period waiting for our room was unacceptable. The facilities themselves exceptional and the food we experienced well below average.
J. V. D.
Don't go on game day. Can't eat at restaurant...no parking. Making booking for breakfast...blah... complimentary drinks, just wine.. to many gadgets push button thingys...
L. L.
Greeted by friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The 6th floor room was fantastic, and the view of the parklands and Cathedral was amazing. Already booked again for January, hopefully we get to experience the restaurant this time.
L. S.
Lovely establishment, big downfall was the restaurant. Imperative to book a time for all dining as they fill up and you're not guaranteed a table even if you're staying there. Alot of dissappointed people being turned away. Also 1 small lift servicing all floors. The wait for the lift was very long at times. Great place and we wish them all the best but we won't be going back.
V. N.
I like this hotel, firstly because of quality of service. It is a brand new hotel. And complementry drinks are awesome in the bar near reception. The view is amazing.

Lovely hotel, great location. Loved the "welcome drink" was still available when we got back from dinner at 10.30pm.
G. R.
I had catch up with family and friends, the food and service was good, but for the entrance, a dirty plain door. the spectacular view right up close to the oval wow, get the window table, go outside on a nice day to optimize the space and view.
L. S.
Lovely lunch at Bespoke and a great vista over the oval and surrounds.

The accommodation is great, had a nice staycation at the Ovalhotel. I had paid for breakfast which mentioned the inclusion of continental plus one choice of a la carte breakfast, however it was not the case. Furthermore coffee was not included with breakfast, nevertheless I ordered a cappuccino as I enjoy my morning coffee... The attached image is what a $6 coffee at the oval hotel is, very disappointing.
