J. D.We’re interstate travellers catching up with friends in Oakey. Three of us had lunch & drinks on the outside terrace. The owner / chef was extremely obliging regarding my lunch request & presented the most amazing, perfectly cooked steak sandwich, crumbed steak & battered flathead fillets. The chips were crispy and light and he even provided some extra steak for our puppy dog! Top marks for the best pub lunch & staff service we have had for a very long time 👍🏻👏🏻
B. A.Had a fantastic rib steak - big enough for 2 people! The salad bar was pretty good. The smell of the oil was unpleasant.
P. M.Went today for lunch. Great menu and prices and the plates were full. The team were very helpful. We especially think it is good how they police the check in. Cannot recommend the Tavern high enough. Great safe place to enjoy a meal.

A. _.Went to have lunch at the Bernborough Tavern Oakey twice recently. Both times staff were so friendly and accommodating to our group. It’s not a big space but pleasant. Plenty of menu choices and the specials for lunch were very good, hot, good portion sizes and the salad bar was very good, again plenty of choice. Toilets were clean and easily accessible.
Our group will certainly be visiting again for lunch in the future.
