K. L.Finished 2-week quarantine in Brisbane Marriott.
Rooms are large, clean and comfortable (although it is kind of slightly too dim at night). Windows are closed but great view and sufficient sunlight from 26/F. Food and drinks are high standard and generous in portion. Truly amazed by the variety of menu (a) breakfast - pancakes with ice-cream, omelette, bacon, sausage, croissant (bakery grade not pre-packed), cereals, fresh fruits, milk, etc (b) lunch - wrap / pie / flat bread, with 2 kinds of snacks (chips, pop-corns, cookies, lumington), juice and fruits (c) dinner - no repeated menu for the 14 nights - soup, main, starch, vegetables, dessert, soft drinks.
Reception ladies were more than helpful. Requests were promptly addressed. I appreciate them so much for calling to the rooms everyday asking if we had any needs. Customer service is no doubt their strength.
Thank you to the back-end staffs as well. Laundries and waste collections were all well managed.
Overall, my stay in Brisbane Marriott exceeded my expectation. Bravo to the Marriott team. Thank you for making the 14-day quarantine easier to us.

D. B.Currently in quarantine at the Marriott. Lovely room with a fabulous view, the staff are friendly, courteous and responsive. The meals are delicious and more than adequate with many extras. The only issue is the TV. 7 channels for sport but no access to movie channels or streaming services. Not even ABC iView, SBS on demand or SBS World Movies. It makes quarantine a little tougher than necessary. However would recommend this hotel for short stays when you are free to get out and about.

J. B.It is probably not fair to write a review about the place where you spent your quarantine; however I believe we need to acknowledge our experience no matter the circumstances. And five stars to staff of the hotel who where there all the time, were so polite and understanding trying to accomodate our requests and gave me a feeling I was the only guest in their hotel. And location, room, cleanliness super...would I stay here outside the compulsory quarantine ? Of course I would...hopefully the opportunity will arrive sooner that later.
B. G.Quarantine was not a choice for me, it was a detour to getting home.
My needs were met plus more. I had a large window, a view which included people walking on the street down below, life in apartment blocks nearby and sunsets, by which I counted off another day in this controlled environment. The staff were so cheerful, and no request was ignored or overlooked. The meals were fresh and varied and I appreciate the effort that went into the vegetarian option. I felt supported by the staff in these circumstances. I feel grateful that, as quarantine was mandatory, I spent my 14 days at the Marriott Hotel.

P. O. D.Currently here doing quarantine. I would like to add to my post from yesterday and thank management for organising the delivery of a newspaper to my room on a daily basis. The staff here have been fantastic and very helpful in regards to any of our requests. As previously stated the food is good with a varied menu considering the circumstances surrounding its delivery. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone as you can not fault the hotel staff. Many thanks Paul O'Donnell
G. T.Was in quarantine here for 2 weeks and they made my stay as enjoyable as possible. Food was alloted to my dietary requirements, alcohol was available in a timely manner from storage as you were allowed 12 beers a day or 2 bottles of wine. Plenty of coffee and tea and shower gel.

C. N.I spent one lovely dinner with my partner as our anniversary gift. We had the seafood buffet with a bottle of wine included. Everything was fresh and tasty, even for my partner who, as a chef, has the most demanding palate. Service was delightful too, everyone was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend to dinner here.

I was very impressed, I worked in hotels 20 years ago and so I notice lots of things, I have high standards but also I understand how busy and demanding it is. I would highly recommend this hotel, our room was lovely, we had breakfast included and the buffet was very very good, I was travelling with my kids 3,5 and they were doted on by the staff despite at times being rascals. A special shout out and a HUGE thank you to Sumit and his fellow kitchen team for accomodating my difficult dietary requirements. They have been extremely accomodating to my requests and have called to check in several times to make sure all is ok. I am so blown away but the customer service, care and empathy during this time. The dinners are delicious and balanced and there’s something different each night. The curry was delicious and authentic. I understand the staff are making a lot of meals all at the same time and are doing a great job at accomodating the numbers.
We are also lucky enough to be able to take outdoor breaks and there is enough room to do walking laps.
Keep it up :) I feel very lucky to have been allocated to this hotel.

I probably have nothing to pick as a negative as there are only positives. Sparkling clean rooms, ivory white linen. All basic amenities provided within the hotel room.
The staff is curt and very hospitable. Probably I don't have more flowery words to explain how good the property is. Brisbane Marriott has taken care of every small detail which could make an impact on the customers. The breakfast buffet is very elaborate and consists almost all breakfast items that you might think of.
The swimming pool facility is amazing. I didn't try the spa but it looked equally good.
Brisbane Marriott will host you very warmly and you will leave them with cherishing memories.

The staff were super helpful during my stay and made me feel very welcome. I didn't try the pool but it looked nice when I walked by to check it out, with the breakfast tasty and good service. It's a tough gig competing with all the other hotels in Brisbane, many of which are newer. The only other downside is location with it on the fringe of the CBD, but this being said a very short walk including to the Valley. Thank you Marriott.

M. “. H.We stayed overnight at the Brisbane Marriott hotel during a basketball road trip weekend for our daughter, we arrived at 6pm on Saturday night after an hour long drive from the sunshine coast, and was pleasantly greeted by our valet at the front door.
I wish I remembered his name, but he was immediately engaging and treated us like returning friends other than customers. He offered to take our bags, but we only had the one... we told him we were planning on going out for dinner shortly thereafter, so he offered to keep our car close, and when that time rolled around, the car was ready when we arrived to go to dinner.
The check-in process was simple and easy, and we opted on the discounted buffet breakfast for the next day.
Our room was immaculate and very trendy - apparently in recently refurbished quarters. Comfy beds, well appointed & furnished/fitted out with modern decor and appliances.
The shower was ample and had great hot water pressure. The tub looked inviting, but alas, we didn't get a chance to use it.
The beds were comfortable and the bed sheets/doona were very plush.
I don't remember hearing any outside noise around our room at any point during the night.
Check out was just as easy and the valet had our car around within 5 minutes.
I would love to stay here again in the future. High quality apartment and great staff!

D. H.Great Marriott property with amazing staff. Got a great deal on the room which came with a choice of extras - bottle of wine, some fresh fruit and chocolate. The lounge had an extensive option of breakfast items too - much more than the base Marriott requirements. Smoked salmon, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and an awesome coffee machine that made just about whatever you wanted. Plus the hotel was right on the river pedestrian path for running, cycling, etc. Only downside in my opinion is the required valet given no other options that I knew of, which was a little expensive. Still a 5 out of 5.

B.Can't say that I can honestly rate this place, as I have not stepped inside to know. Only there because a friend of mine is holed up in the hotel room doing her covid quarantine restrictions. There are no balconies on the building and apparently the windows don't open to let some breeze in. Great City location close to the River.

The room was great however I couldn't find any note paper nor pen to write on. The club room had no soft drinks or soda water except for tea or coffee. Previously we've always been able to access cold drinks after a day out in the hot sun. The canapes were very average compared to previous times staying new years eve.
The breakfast was below par. Eggs were cold & food very slow in being replenished.
For me I would rethink about returning for the money we paid.

The only slight negative taking the experience from 5 stars down to 4 was that we paid extra for a riverview room, and although the room we were in had a slight view of the river, it was obstructed by a construction site, and more of a city view... not quite the story bridge view shown on the website.

They have a nice business centre on the third floor and on fourth floor there is a full service Spa, a big gym and an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The pool is covered by a roof so you are protected from the weather but still get the breeze and great views over the city and river. The executive lounge is located on the 26th floor with great views over the city and a good offering, they serve breakfast from 6am, afternoon tea and evening canapes and drinks from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. The only drawback is that they charge an extortionate parking fee at $49. Overall a great hotel at the centre of town.

- the lounge space is quite small, there are only 4 windows with a river view (the bridge is not visible from the lounge), so if you want to sit next to the window you have to come earlier
+/- breakfast was nice, but there is space for improvement, more hot dishes would be nice, and the service time could be extended especially on the weekends when people like to sleep a bit longer (for now it is until 9am)

본.We travelled a lot and this place is absolutely one of the best hotels we have ever visited. Rooms are nice and all staffs are really professional and helpful. Definitely want to visit again if I'd have a chance to go to Brisbane!
O.In all the years I have used Marriott Hotels, we have never had a bad experience. The hotel has been very good to us and we feel like family when we're there. My only problem is that there are not enough Marriott Hotels in Australia where we live. See if you can't change that please.

R.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Brisbane Marriott Hotel. The location is perfect, close to the Brisbane River and City and easy walking distance to Restaurants and other attractions. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided excellent service.
D.My work booked one of the conference rooms for the day. It was a very nice facility, which was well catered. The only negative was the temperature in the conference room was cold and distracting staff. We had to ask staff to to adjust the air conditioning to make it a little warmer.
M. P.Nice rooms and good location for office. But far from main drag and downtown Brisbane. Am an SPG member so got a few privileges Inc free drink. Unfortunately not 5* review as rooms are too hot even with AC on full bore all night.

N. P.Hotel was more 4 star than 5. Most of the staff were lovely. Dinner was ok, but the breakfast buffet was the highlight of our 4 night stay, with plenty of options and in abundance!
A. M.Nice hotel and in great location in the city. The bar and restaurant are great. Cannot open the windows and sometimes it gets noisy especially if you happen to get the rooms next to the lifts.
D. J.Seafood buffet was overpriced for the selection available. The layout was extremely poor leading to troublesome people flow through the serving areas. Staff were friendly and helpful and service was efficient but overall not a fantastic value for money experience at the seafood buffet.
D. S.Prestigious rooms, the newly refurbished rooms look even better. Views are good and amenities are excellent (especially the pool). Staff are extremely and the restaurant is arguably the best in Brisbane.
A. S.Myself and my partner are looking for a wedding venue. This was our second visit to check out the Marriott and were again impressed with the service and building itself. The interior, rooms and styling are incredible.

A. M.Hotel pet peeve - given a room right outside the lifts. There is always someone noisy enough getting in at midnight. They also had trouble tracking down my loyalty number so didn't get my usual benefits even though I pointed out to the staff that checked me in of previous problems I've had. Got the polite nod in agreeance while what I said was ignored. Rooms are quite dated in terms of décor, but spacious and clean. Having to browse the menu on the TV is a pain and so is the personal mini bar.
P.Very nice hotel. Service for most part was fantastic. Good location. Would have liked to park my own vehicle instead of having to pay for valet parking.
G.Rooms had a smell of paint, shower was cold and generally got a feeling the hotel would need a face uplift. Polite and friendly staff did their best.
M. M.Concierge lady was fantastic when the taxi driver drove off with my luggage. The bed was awful though, in hindsight I should have gone back down to request a new room, as it was unbelievably lumpy. I can't believe all of the beds are usually like this though, so I would give them the benefit of the doubt and stay again. Room service was good, breakfast buffet was nice, but not as good as Melbourne Marriott.
M.The Marriott in Brisbane is simply the perfect place for my visits for business and visiting family and friends. After many years despite staff changes I am welcomed warmly and made to feel at home. For a large hotel it always has an intimate boutique hotel feel
D.Place was packed and food was below par from previous visits. I think this needs a rethink as quite a few guests were glutinous grabbing platefuls of food and guzzling drink after drink, reminded me of happy hour on a cheap P&O cruise.
C. G.Wifi is great, location is central. Pool and gym are very nice. Breakfast is pretty good but get what you pay for and bar is somewhat well stocked. Staff were useful!
