Found the hotel to be average overall and more of a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. The rooms were clean and comfortable but a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast (and service) offered at the restaurant was poor quality.

Amazing, the rooms were clean, they provide a pool, a gym and laundry services. The rooms facing the construction sites will be noisy until late july but all other rooms are fine. (P.S the lobby reeks of dying plants from the wall)

We came to use our voucher our children purchased for us, we had twin beds! Was clean. Very small rooms. Good location block from botanical gardens and a short walk to south bank. Breakfast was lovely and the nicest coffee in Brisbane.

Easy walk [12 min] from central station and fast checkin. Room on 15 floor was clean and fresh. Not much of a view but didnt expect it given the cbd location. Good shower although door handle needs to be looked at by worksafe as very easy to catch fingers when closing with right hand from inside. Television kept shuting down and although reported to reception next morning was never fixed . Breakfast was hit and miss except for the coffee. No mushrooms or tomatoes some days was dissapointing. Service staff were friendly and efficent.

The stay was alright but the carpet in the room was stained, the swimming pool, which is why we booked here, was freezing cold. There is a $20 per night parking fee, not advertised. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms, while small are very functional and the bathroom was clean and modern but as with every hotel, single ply toilet paper, so bring your own or buy some in the nearby convenience stores.

Review number 1.000 🥳 and of course a 5 star rating. It’s been a great experience. Everything in this hotel is up to highest standards. The Reception staff was lovely. I really enjoyed the gym, pool and especially the wet sauna. It heats up to 75 degrees Celsius. I was in heaven after 2 years of not being in a sauna. There are lockers just opposite of the sauna. Thank you!

Our second visit to Capri by Fraser Brisbane and it was exceptional again. We had a room on the 16th floor with nice views of the city. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the motorised black-out curtains and the bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch. The shower was huge. The room kitchen was quite basic but handy, with a microwave, a few utensils and a Nespresso-compatible coffee pod machine. The gym was simply enormous for a hotel and had a lot of different equipment including cardio, free weights and machines. We had one breakfast in the hotel restaurant and service was fast and efficient. I still haven't tried the heated pool, maybe next time!

A very nice visit from friendly and helpful staff at check in, through to a spacious, comfortable room. A good bed, coupled with good water pressure, tick the main boxes. Of course the hotel is located quite centrally so getting around was easy as well.

Fantastic location, however some small concerns... The shower leaked profusely requiring a towel on the floor. The shower head was in need of repair on arrival, it leaked from the hose and rain shower head needed replacement / heavy cleaning. The air-conditioning was not easy to work out and control. There was one glass / tumbler / mug for the room booked for two. The pool area smelt mouldy. The towels were in some instances threadbare. The lobby is heavily perfumed, this was an allergy trigger for myself. However it did not greatly impact on the experience.

The Travelmints team was recently in Brisbane CBD for some client meetings, and we needed somewhere to stay. We found that Capri by Fraser was the perfect place for us, as it was located in the CBD, perfect for the location of our meetings. We stayed in a spacious room, with space for us to get our work done. There's also a mini-kitchen if you're looking to eat in, rather than out. The hotel also has several meeting rooms if you're looking for somewhere quiet to work! The hotel's amenities are great, with a cozy pool area complete with a sauna and steam rooms, as well as a gym with cardio and weightlifting equipment. Work up a sweat, then go cool down in the pool! We'd love to see the service improve at the hotel, as there wasn't really a concierge or additional service provided. Once you've checked in, you don't have much contact with the staff. The cleaning could also be improved, as the servicing of the room wasn't maintained to the same standard that we'd expect compared to other similarly-priced hotels. Nevertheless, we'd definitely recommend staying at the Capri. It's conveniently located, and there's a great view of the CBD from your room. If you're looking for a room that meets your budget while on a work trip, or a base to stay while exploring business, then this will suit you. We'll be staying here again if we're ever back in Brisbane for work!

We had a great time the front desk was very helpful and she assisted with our needs and nothing was an issue. The rooms are nice with a large bathroom, with very soundproof from the noise from the street and total blackout curtains.

Staff are lovely, rooms are very comfortable and clean. Shower head is big and shampoo and conditioner and bodywash are provided, not the usual little ones supplied. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Very handy, convenient location.would only suggest a restaurant guide for out of towners like myself, but part of the fun us walking around exploring the area. Very happy with this accommodation. Will definitely be back when I next visit my daughters

A fair hotel with an uncompetitive price for its basic rooms. While the room was clean and modern, it was very small. The view from my particular room on the 13th floor faced an office building. The bathroom is probably the highlight, as it occupies 50% of the space and is well equipped and spacious. However, I found that the air conditioning never really got the room cool, only moderate. Also, you can hear when the room above you showers, as there is noticeable running water/drainage sounds while this is happening. Another thing to note is that I booked online, but never got my confirmation email. I saw the front desk about this prior to check and it seemed to annoy the clerk.

A very nice modern hotel located in the heart of Brisbane. The hotel has parking and is a short walk to shops, the casino, cinema and restaurants. We have stayed there several times in the past and will continue to do so.

Very disappointed about the price we paid for their complementary breakfast with our booked hotel at Capri By Fraser. Paid extra 70 dollars for two people. Limited choice provided of food. Been told that we need to pay extra 5 dollars for each extra topping. My poor little girl only got one serve of scramble eggs, a bread, batter and some vegetables. Myself got a plate of breads and yogurt and one small cup of coffee. Only worth about 45 dollars when we adding it up together. Why cost us 70 dollars with such a disappointing meal experience. So regretted. Better go to The point hotel, got buffet there for everything for just 30 dollars per person and get proper service. The second morning I asked about why there were a bit of butter a day before and it’s missed today for two trays. The waitress rudely spread a teaspoon of butter in a dish and the butter was oily out of the dish. Absolutely will not book this complimentary breakfast. Hotel itself at Carpi is nice and clean. But this restaurant is very disappointing. Wonder if this hotel knows about what happened with their customers’ food experience. Hotel is nice and clean and quiet. Good location and close to everything. But they really need to review about Blackfire as their partner restaurant.

I stayed for two nights early in the new year. Check in was fast and easy, the foyer area was spotless. My room was immaculate, very clean. Modern furniture. Great bathroom and very clean also. Very nice hotel. Exceptionally clean, good decor and friendly staff. Nice new linen, with comfortable beds and pillows. Also liked the ability to choose room location on their website (e.g away from lifts, high floor). Located well in the centre of Brisbane, right next to shops and public transport. Free ferry to Southbank is only a few minutes walk away. We got a great deal which included a reasonable room rate including breakfast and a carpark. Of particular note was their decision to not fill the rooms with lots of unnecessary plastic bottles and wrappers, creating extra waste. The mini bar was empty in the room, but they will bring up whatever you want at your request. Big thumbs up to the management for being environmentally conscious.

Excellent hotel. Professional, friendly, helpful and very accommodating staff. Spotless modern appointed room with brilliant bathroom (Studio Deluxe room). Comfortable bed and dual power points everywhere + ethernet port. Even had another ethernet port next to the toilet for some reason. Perfect CBD location. Next to great cafe's, restaurants and public transport. Queen Street Mall 3 min walk up the street. Underground carpark was a bit tight but very handy. Fantastic pool with sauna and gym. Will absolutely stay again.

Great hotel staff, very helpful and friendly. Hotel rooms were clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. Pillows may not be to everyone's liking but it was good for me. There are a variety of facilities at the hotel, including a laundry room where you can do your laundry(soap powder provided), and wait comfortably in the lounge right outside of the room(TV and Xbox available). THEY HAVE BEAN BAG CHAIRS.

A great hotel right in the middle of the Brisbane CBD. We stayed 16 nights. No complaints at all! Beds and pillows were outstanding. No fuss checking in or out, helpful staff at all times. Just a short walk to Queen Street Mall, and weekends towards the Botanical gardens has a nice weekend market. Great selection of the best Aussie coffees across the street. Love this place.

Nice and comfy rooms, backed up by staff that are welcoming. We've stayed here several occasions and would advise that if booking you seek to be placed away from the lift shafts. They are surprisingly loud and buzzing all night. Parking is also a little pricey per day considering the rates for rooms when they're not on promotion. We understand this is an inner city hotel, but for those traveling from interstate or other cities, it does make a difference to the end value.

Absolutely wonderful! Booked a couple of rooms for a concert at The Riverstage Sunday night and I couldn't be happier. The staff where fantastic! Very helpful and informative. The rooms where modern and very well appointed, only draw back is that they're rather small but the lay out more than makes for that. The beds where the most comfortable I've probably ever slept on (going to need to throw my bed out now). Very clean and tidy, great food and very convenient location. Would highly recommend! The restaurant (Black Fire) was superb with a really unusual menu, and the staff were friendly. Jeverlyn on the front desk even provided a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Great location, friendly helpful staff, value for money, beautiful facilities, very nice lighting, quiet and one of the only places around which had an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym. The entertainment area is set up so that it is a home away from home. The only negatives were overly soft bed, fat pillows, hot doona with no alternative bedding in the room. This place definitely has a lot of positives, including the 11am check out. We would gladly return.

The Capri is nice hotel and is very centrally located. The check-in staff and concierge are friendly and helpful. I was the in the standard room and it was clean and modern with a large shower. Being downtown the hotel is surrounded by other skyscrapers so you don't get any amazing views but at the same time you aren't eye sores around either. I only had the breakfast buffet, it was good with decent variety. If you're looking for a good hotel in downtown Brisbane for a decent price than the Capri is certainly a good option.

Great little room with vibrant bathroom. Good value for money. Very comfortable bed. Lots of lifts and friendly front staff, albeit constantly changing. View from our room was very average, looking out onto nearby apartments on a packed street in the middle of the CBD. Facilities were highly disappointing - pool closes at 10pm which is not advertised (we tried to get in at literally 10:01 and the door wouldn’t open). There is only an indoor pool despite google saying “indoor and outdoor pool”. Pool is very busy, when we tried to go in earlier there were 4 people in it and it is really quite small so we turned away. Steam room and sauna is not unisex, there are seperate rooms for male and female and only accessible through the restrooms which is an absolutely stupid decision by the designer - impossible if you were wanting to go in together with your partner. Great spot for an overnight stay - anything more than that I’m sure there are better options. As expected, do not touch the hotel bar fridge - markup of drinks is ~400%+. All in all a real shame as the architecture of the place is really quite nice but they have ways to go in order to improve the overall quality of the customers stay.

Stayed 2nights in September 2019 for weekend trip from Sydney and it was great experience !! The location is the centre of Brisbane CBD. Their pool is open 6am to 10pm and it looks so fancy I enjoyed swimming in the evening and morning. Before you jump into pool make sure to turn on the sauna if you like it as it’s normally off. There were maximum 4people including me in the pool so I had enough space to swim. All guest should enjoy this amazing pool !! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed at Capri for our wedding anniversary. We were given a room right next to the elevator so all through the night we kept being woken up by the creaky, screatchy sounds of it making it's way up and down, as well the toll it makes in the corridor to announce it's arrival. You'd think they would have sound-proofed the rooms closest to the elevator??? Aside from getting bad sleep, the room itself was nicely appointed and the staff were very friendly. I'd recommend this place ONLY if you can get a room away from the noisy elevators, then I'm sure your experience will be much improved!

Powerpoints near the bed, always handy for charging phones, tablets, etc especially when you need the alarm to go off in the morning! Amenities are great! Indoor swimming / lap pool, steam and sauna rooms make it ideal to relax in between work days.

We stay here when in Brissie with work. The rooms are nice, if a little bland, and the location is good. If you have special dietary needs (I'm vego) then the eating options are very limited. And if you arrive at night from an afternoon flight you're stuck with a very limited night room service menu. I always eat elsewhere. The advertised time for breakfast starting, and the time the restaurant actually opens, do not align (you'll wait an extra half an hour for the restaurant to open) which impacts those staying for business and needing to get to the office in the morning. The pool is nice, and the little gym isn't bad. I usually go for a jog in the Botanic garden when staying here though - it's just down the road and the little gym is often very crowded before and after office hours.

Lovely staff they are happy to help with anything and treat you like royalty. No balconies sucks if your a smoker but cant complain about that. No windows for fresh air means you rely heavily on the air con which is temperamental and never goes down to the 18 degrees you set it to. The restaurant is lovely and very authentic. Great for people who are travelling for work. Beds and pillows are the comfiest ive slept on.

Capri is located in a great location surrounded by restaurants and bars. It is convenient and easy to walk around using this as a central hub location. The room itself was very clean and modern. It also includes a small kitchenette that contains a sink and microwave, there is also a nespresso machine with the pods are provided by sensory lab which is also located downstairs. The bathroom is spacious and modern with no issues.

I always enjoy my stay at Capri! The rooms are comfortable and air-conned, heavy dark drapes on the windows for those who loathe waking up to the sun on their pillow first thing in the morning! The mattresses are heavenly and you won't be in a hurry to get up! Saturday and Sunday morning sloth sessions start best with a variety of channels and movie packages. The only thing that I wish is that the morning buffet had more variety to choose from but their cooking is yummy!

Had a lovely 3 night stay in a studio executive room here and would definitely book again. Smack bang in the middle of Brisbane city, the location is excellent. The brightly coloured rooms are fresh, modern and clean. The pool is cosy and the sauna is handy. Staff were lovely at every interaction and seemed very helpful for those that had queries. Studio executive room price includes two complimentary mini bar items per day which includes a full size wine bottle as one item so I made the most of that 😉 The large bathroom with rainfall (?) showerhead was lovely. Parking was a bit steep for me at $40 per night through the hotel so I did a bit of bouncing around on street parking to avoid overpaying.

Clean and cosy hotel with fairly small rooms but perfect for my solo business travel. Unfortunately room service was fairly disappointing but not.as.bad as when it came from Pete Evans Asana failure. What you see was around $30. For those that follow me know I am normally a beer drinker however I didn't find any that interest me on the list so I decided to try what the menu listed as House Cider. The naming in the menu excuded uniqueness however I was bitterly disappointed when a strongbow rocked up for $10. Gym is compact but fine. There is a steam room/sauna which is a nice touch. Breakfast is standard pricey hotel fare with poor service and average coffee for the price point. Luckily there is other local options. All in all perfect for the price point. Stay away from the food options.

The hotel was opened in August 2015 so the facility is quite new. I stayed a week in July 2016 on a business trip. Overall the experience was highly enjoyable. When we arrived the lady that checked us in was super friendly and helpful. The car park was full when we arrived so complimentary valet was given. The room was excellent. So modern and everything you need in the room. Bed was super comfy! We got breakfast included but there isn't a menu in the room for it. We got confused as the only menu in the room is for Asana but it's got a different breakfast menu which we didn't like the look of so we decided to skip breakfast. Then when catching the lift to conceirge we were a bit disappointed to see the menu in the lift of the buffet breakfast for hotel guests was way better than the one in the room. I'd suggest having that on a card in the room for guests to see it's different to the Asana breakfast menu. The lady who checked us out wrecked the whole experience for me. She was rude and tried charging us for the parking when I said it was included and she argued and said no it wasn't included and it wasn't until another staff member leant over and sorted it out with her they dropped the charge of the parking. Pretty disappointing as it was a lovely experience until I was served by her.

I was torn! Accommodation is great, actually, and I'd return for sure. I was on corporate, so hard to comment on price / value, but: Quality: very good. Nice and clean, large, room, with mini kitchen was a treat. Windows perhaps not brilliant as I heard quite a bit of road works noise. Shower did take a while to warm up too. Ambiance/decor: modern and clean. Very up to date. Services etc: great gym and pool. The downer, for me, was the food. I had a room service pizza night 1 with an icecream/brownie dessert, and breakfast the next morning: Food: very average. Pizza didn't have the beautiful gluten bonds of decent flour (not sure if it was some Pete Evans special paleo mix) and the topping was bland - totally reliant on whatever the added sauce (squeezed too liberally over the top) was. The ice-cream was icy (not creamy), so a major let-down. The breakfast was 'meh' (dull eggs, dried bacon, bland bread). Surprisingly, despite having an attached coffee shop, the coffee too seemed unloving. In short: stay there but eat elsewhere!

We got an executive studio and it was a nice sized room. Very clean and enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly and courteous. $40 onsite parking is a bit steep considering we were able to find a place to park for $14 for the night. We picked this hotel because it was so close to the venue, only 5-10 mins walking distance and because the price was great and even offered a free buffet breakfast. Everything was fantastic, we will 100% be booking again on our next concert event.

Maybe I'm neat freak, my room isn't clean as my standard, there was white powder on the bench when I just got in and the sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly. Also, the moisturiser seemed being used before. There're noticeable stains on the carpet in the room as well as public areas. But all good otherwise, nice and modern hotel with a good size gym and pool, suna and steam are separated for male and female, very considerate.

I stayed here for two nights during a business trip to Brisbane recently, in the ‘Studio Deluxe’ room. The hotel is very central and just a stone’s throw to all the bars and restaurants on Queen street, which even on a Wednesday night, were overflowing. The Botanic gardens are also about a 10 minute walk away if you come out of the hotel and turn right. There is a post office next to the hotel and a liquor store (BWS) across the street. The studio deluxe room includes a small kitchen area with a sink and a full range of cutlery and plates, bowls etc. There is a Nespresso machine, kettle and a mini bar fridge, however there is no mini bar contents included apart from a small carton of long life UHT milk. The ‘studio executive’ room includes a mini bar where you are permitted to take two free items, however this was discontinued as of June 2018 in the ‘studio deluxe’. The Nespresso machine included three coffee pods by Senseo and all the usual tea styles from Aurora. The television has all the free to air channels along with fox sports, sky news and ESPN, however a special note needs to made here about the outrageous price being charged to hire on demand movies. Most new release movies were around $18.99, which makes no sense given that the same movies can be rented on you tube for around 4.99! I would recommend hooking up the chromecast to the TV instead! Or go to the cinema, which is just up on Queen street. The bathroom was very large, spacious and extremely clean, the overall room was very clean and well maintained, this hotel was only built in 2014. There was a free breakfast included in the rate I was given, which consisted of a standard buffet and hot food options. Room service from the restaurant below is available 24 hours, however after 9pm the only option is pizza. The price of all the pizza options on the room service menu is $32 and they did not look particularly good. Worth noting that Domino’s pizza is located just a 3 minute walk away and there is also a Turkish kebab shop right across the street which is open 24 hours, and definitely not charging 32 dollars for pizza. There are plenty of better food options in the area open later than 9pm. Based on price alone, I would not recommend eating at the hotel. The indoor pool is located on the 2nd floor and just off the pool is a spacious gym with an x box and foosball table. There is no business centre that I could see apart from a few mac books in the lobby area, but there were no seats or printers. The lobby is very small, as is the restaurant. In general the public areas of the hotel are very cramped, and the corridors are very dimly lit. The studio deluxe room is not particularly big either, they seem to have gone for a very large bathroom at the expense of the floor area in the room. Overall a very good hotel in the CBD area of Brisbane. Clean, attentive staff and good facilities.

First, I would like to state that this hotel is centrally located and convenient to access. I had a few issues checking in but soon was rectified generously by management of staff. Newly appointed appliances were a bonus, and cleanliness of rooms and house keeping were attended to daily. Some miscommunication problems between staff had disadvantaged and inconvenienced me, but this was soon resolved by management. Rooms facing offices made me feel ‘imprisoned’... but this can’t be helped I guess. Bonus is, the double glazed windows shut out the traffic noise below. Otherwise, a good hotel to stay at for Brisbane CBD. Thankyou to the team at Capri Fraser.

I was last a guest at Capri 2 years ago and remembered it being a good hotel with great food. Not sure what's happened since but I was very disappointed with my stay this time around. The room was nicely set up and and had all the amenities one would expect. But the bed was actually 2 singles pushed together, and the pillows were horrible. I was also really looking forward to the breakfast at Asana, but like the room this was a let down. The food selection was much smaller than last time. The juice available tasted like supermarket home brand. Sad to say I won't be looking at staying here again on my next visit to Brisbane.

Apart from nice room and ficulties it was good but the main letdown is you pay for parking $40 a night which is pretty outrageous and as we upgraded our room to cater for 3 people because that what it says on the website well the hotel said we had to pay for a rollaway which I could not comprehend because of false advertising (seriously😠). If anything by the time we finished we could of gone somewhere better with the amount of $$$ we paid by the end. Won't be coming back again.....

Very centralised location, easy to get to from airport. Great place to stay if you prefer to experience Brisbane City. The room we stayed in was however facing an office building, but not a deal breaker. Free wi-fi was available with a relatively nice tv, all that it missed is Chromecast to be available in room tv 😉. Gym has good facilities and also has an indoor pool. The resident restaurant Asana also serves a nice breaky buffet and coffee.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. The place is quiet, staff friendly.. Breakfast is great. I believe you can judge a buffet breakfast on the quality of the poached egg. The peppermint Malin + Goetz shampoo is really classy, I intend to buy some now. The pool is inside, very quiet and heated. There is a sauna but I didn't use it. All the amenities are well maintained which gives the feeling like you're the first person to use them. I also really liked the Electrolux washer dryer in the room. It actually worked! There are also some big Maytag machines on the pool level with some dryers and a masssssiive TV for whilst you wait on a beanbag.

Stayed for 1 night wish we stayed longer. Staff couldn't do enough. We called the night before to see if it was possible to park our car earlier than check in time. After staff checked with a manager we were given the ok to park earlier. We were so grateful not having to worry about paying for extra parking during the day. The staff at Capri would have to be the best at assisting someone who changes her accommodation booking - three times! Not once did they stint in the way they handled this situation. Upon arriving the smiles and greetings certainly made for a relaxing introduction to this amazing hotel. That we were upgraded had more to do with being the mother of the bride for the hotel's first wedding reception. And what a night Capri put on for us. Firstly the bridal suite gifts were amazing, thank you, Capri. The helpful staff at all times did themselves proud keeping up the canapes for the bride and her maids - and her mother. The reception food was just wonderful with perfect timing per the menu with the set up for the bridal table and other tables and chairs breathtakingly beautiful as we walked in. Capri, thank you for being the very best hotel we have stayed at, here in Australia or overseas. Well done!

My only complaint was that I was charged for 3 days parking (I did not have a vehicle) which was later refunded but I am still waiting for an unauthorised charge to be credited back to my credit card. I have contacted management and emailed several times but their response was that they will look into it. It has been 1 week now and I am still waiting for a my card to be refunded. Feeling a little concerned and annoyed that my details are stored on their system. If I did not check my statement this would of been overlooked. Hoping for a prompt resolution.

I had a Executive studio apartment, which was OK. Room was a little small, and lacked any comfortable seating and dining table, which I've had in other studio suites. The carpet is not very restful on the eyes, and the Kookaburra and Koala wall hangings were a little tacky. The room was clean, and the 2 free items from the mini-bar was a nice touch.

The stay itself was great! couldn't fault it. The room was clean, service was great and the view was excellent. However, I have had nothing but trouble getting my bond returned to my account. I checked out on the 27/05/17 and it's now the 13/06/17 and Have had to contact the hotel 5 times due to them not releasing my funds even though they told me several times that there's nothing pending on their end and to contact my bank who have shown me proof that the transaction of $100AUD is still pending with the hotel & that they have not released the funds back or done a reversal and have not sent a fax through to the bank which I was advised they had done. This is getting beyond a joke and I don't know whether a sixth or seventh call will even make a difference. I advise that if you stay there you ask to pay your bond in cash to avoid this drama.
