G. R.Wow, what a find! A friend from Tiaro took us here for lunch during a tour of the area. We chose to sit outside on the veranda, it being a lovely day, yet we would have been equally pleased to sit inside or at the rear in the undercover area. The place was nearly full, so we were informed that the meals may take some time. No matter, as long as an establishment informs the patrons as such. The garlic bread entree was good. Our three meals of a Seafood Basket, Chicken Kiev, and Fish (whiting) and Chips were huge and excellent value. The accompanying salads were some of the yummiest we've had, if not the best. The added hard-boiled egg, shredded beetroot, and potato salad was terrific and unexpected. The Top marks to the chefs. The scenery from the veranda was breathtaking for a pub. My wife and I are only passing through, but you have just got to detour to this place. When back in the area, we will again make it to this gem.
T. O.The Theebine Hotel is a destination you must head to with free camping and cold beer, spectacular sunsets and plenty to do go jump on a bull at the Gundiah pub just up the road or check out the old bridges over the Mary River around Miva, big River Mullet,
Theebine pub is wheel chair friendly, with a museum interior to match the exterior, great piss trough in the men's room every bloke worth his salt will want one.

T. M.This is a destination not just a pub. All the good things you find at a country pub plus free camping. You need to visit here at least once although I suspect you will return.
R. H.We recently stayed at nearby Gunna Park and came here for a night out with a friend who loves nearby. What a night! Great hospitality, food was excellent and the pub itself is just beautiful. We came back the next day to try their speciality “43” liqueur! Off the beaten track but well worth a visit

Nice pub food, beer was reasonably priced with a good selection, some craft beers on tap! Watch the trains pass by or chill on the veranda overlooking the cows, birds on the dam across the railway line! Drop in for a visit you will not be disappointed!

There is also free powered sites for caravans which I'm sure most would not be able to resist a meal and few drinks.

C. B.Had a fantastic weekend celebrating a 40th birthday at The Historic Theebine Hotel. All you would expect from an old country pub & more. There is not only upstairs accommodation, but a fantastic area for free camping, also 6 powered sites at only $10 a night. The publican & his staff are amazing & did a fantastic job catering to all our needs over the weekend. Definitely worth a visit.

P. C.We went up to Theebine having stayed there a few times before with the previous owners. We had a wonderful time with wonderful food, great entertainment and great pub accommodation. Thank you Jackson & Ashleigh... it was awesome! Our friends loved it too. Recommend it to anyone. It is also set in a gorgeous remote spot 40ks from Tiaro.

B.Absolutely love this hotel, I used to live 10mins from here many years ago when I was housesitting for a friend who was travelling Australia, when she was home this was our favorite place to come on weekends and Sunday was family day with barby lunch and entertainment for the afternoon, now I'm back here with a dear friend for her daughter's birthday and we are staying at this hotel, so peaceful, fresh air, country hospitality,wonderful friendly staff, bliss ❤😁🤗

E. P.We had a great overnight stay at the campground behind the Historic Hotel. The owner Claudia was about to close but still offered us a last drink before we settled in our Camper Van. Next morning we had a great breakfast as ordered with huge portions and a very decent price. They have nice souvenirs like Tshirts etc. and the antique interior alone is already worth the drive. I wish we could go back, it was awesome...😋😍👍🇭🇲🇭🇲

We had a great night with brilliant "Pub Food" and very entertaining hosts.
The hotel is a great representation of the period in which it was built and still in very good shape.
We over did it with the drinks so having the rooms upstairs was perfect.
Already planning the next one to do it all again, maybe drag a few extras this time now that we know how good this place is.

L.my husband and i spent the arvo and nite at this great pub,and what a great time we had ,we met some lovely people we missed lunch but we had dinner ,myself i had reef and beef with salad and chips my husband has chicken kiev both of us were more than happy and the prices are great .one of the best thing was there was no pokies and from what i heard there never will be,which meant everyone was talking to each other having a great time,everyone we met made us feel very welcome including eddy and margaretha the owners parents,claudia the owner was away for the week the 3 of them share the running of the pub,margaretha did the cooking while we were there including takeaways,we loved it so much we are going back next weekend but this time we will take a caravan as all the rooms are booked out,this time we will met claudia which we are looking forward to,we love the area so much we are looking to buy a home out there,if you are out there traveling or just want to go somewhere for a drink,meal with some good company make this a place to call in ,you will be glad you did,this will be a regular place for us thats for sure at the moment we live an hour away but its worth the trip. the rooms are clean the bed was very comfy,with shared bathroom which was also very clean A GREAT PUB,GREAT PEOPLE GREAT FOOD
