A. M.I booked a 3 night stay through booking.com
The staff were exceptional, 5 stars to the staff. Everyone made a huge effort to wish my husband happy birthday.
The room however was meant to be the second best in the hotel. It was nothing special at all. I booked river view, but the windows are half size and you can only see the river if you stand in a particular spot of the window. You dont get this river view from the room at all. The bathroom is NOT private, separated by a thin sliding door. It was a really average room and not worth the money.
The hotel it self however is in a great location, close to everything. The restaurant was great.

I. S.The staff made our stay at Hyatt particularly memorable - they were so so lovely and made sure everything was perfect. Dani in particular went above and beyond to make our stay extra special - upon hearing it was our 10 year anniversary we received a handwritten card and a gorgeous bottle of red. She was an absolute star and we loved her. The actual hotel is gorgeous and the pool/bar/hibiscus bar is the focal point. The rooms were lovely and clean - we would absolutely stay again.
j. b.beautiful modern rooms. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Service was perfect. Only downfall was the pool and terrace gets booked for events and we were not told. This means guests can’t use the pool or pool bar. This was quite disappointing as we were not given the chance to use the pool. The infinity pool and poor bar was the main reason for booking our stay here.
N. P.This place is in an excellent location in the city. The front desk and valet service were 5 star. The let down was the beds and the room we had was really small for the price. Also the buffet breakfast was a real let down. Hence, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
b. L.The staff gave the most incredible service. They knew we were coming down with my elderly grandma for a special occasion and firstly put free champagne in the rooms. But also at the restaurant the service was above and beyond, when my grandma was asking for sandwiches like she gets at home the kitchen whipped up exactly what she wanted so quickly, even though it wasn’t on the menu. There is a reason my family has been coming here for 20 years and will never stop. Absolutely amazing.

Always willing to accommodate our needs, apologetic for any minor inconveniences and always friendly. This high quality of service is becoming exceedingly rare, so cudos to the Hyatt Regency staff for their professionalism and exceptional customer service skills, and cudos to the Hyatt Regency Brisbane for cultivating such an amazing team.
p. n.This hotel has an excellent location .Train(10 min easy walk)Bus and Ferry only 5 min walk.Room was fresh,clean and functional. Only let down by minor housekeeping issues. However, the breakfast was below par , lacking selection options ,good coffee and with a noisy kitchen .

J. M.Had a pleasant stay for the weekend. Nice and clean room, bed and pillows are really comfortable, provided tea and coffee are nice and clean toilet/shower area. The only downside is the TV, the whole night the reception was really bad, can't even watch the free movie cause the loading/buffering is way too slow! We had breakfast at Lennon's Restaurant, good service and meal was nice (loved the pickled jalapeno). Ala carte meal with 1 juice and 1 coffee/tea. Great for a weekend stay, just smack in the middle of Queen Street Mall.

Customer service on the whole was great. Special recognition to Nghia who greeted us into the dining room and looked after us on our first evening, and subsequent evenings. Wonderful first impressions. We immediately felt welcome and ‘at home’.
When will hoteliers realise that it’s employees like Nghia that make their property so valuable. He lifted everyone around him up to his standard, and many of them seemed v inexperienced.
Nghia was a high point and made it a v positive stay.

The fact that general hotel parking means going down the hotel escalator, walking out of the hotel, across a precinct, through a shopping centre and down the lift to your car with all our luggage was not a great experience and just took the edge off our stay.

Location is also fabulous being right in the middle of the city!
Room design is pretty good, all the amenities were nice. Only downside is the toilet / bathroom / shower / cupboard is one thing with two entry doors. If someone is using the bathroom your kind of limited to doing anything else...
That said the staff were just so helpful the whole trip. When they found out we were hiking the staff helped in terms of their personal recommendations for which spots were best, helped to fill camel back bladders with ice for our treks etc. Just wonderful!!!
Only negative from my end is the coffee in the breakfast was just all over the shop in terms of quality. Sometimes lovely, other times undrinkable. Probably the only bad thing I have to say...

A. J. N.I've stayed here when it was NEXT, now it Hyatt and they are charging more $ but apart from the sign nothing has changed and the place needs a Reno and update. I would say it's only 3.5 to 4 stars at best. Pool bar is the best part. The TV'S in the room are still programmed as Next hotel. Staff are very polite.

Breakfast included which is fantastic but make sure you check on how busy they are. Arrived at restaurant at 9:15 and waited more than an hour to finally get food. Somebody not get their staffing right? Kitchen could not cope.

Movies only played half way through, some movies wouldn't play at all. Staff couldn't fix it within the 2 nights we were there.

M. A.Fantastic hotel. My partner and I stayed in a King Room and it was modern, immaculate, homely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside is I am now back home sleeping on my uncomfortable shocker.
Location is also brilliant and so is the price.

S. C.Previously known as The Next Hotel, I stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. It’s on a prime location next to Queen Street Mall for all your retail shopping and restaurant needs. Also fairly walkable distance to other Brisbane landmarks (e.g. South bank, botanical gardens, etc). Happy with the room, I was on the 9th floor so I had a nice view overlooking the pool on 4th floor. Only minor criticism I had was the lack of USB port charging station next to the bed; would of been handy.
The swimming pool is a star attraction and a special shout-out to the staff working there; were quick on call, kept the place clean and professional. The pool is a nice length at I think around 30m. The sleep pods are free to use and quite an attraction.
The breakfast was surprisingly good. Currently there’s no help yourself buffet breakfast, you select what you like from the menu (choice of granola, 3 eggs and pancakes which is what I got).
Overall I was very happy and will consider coming back in future.

M. W.From the moment we pulled up the valet service was friendly and helpful. The reception staff were the staff and made our check in smooth as well as offering an upgrade for a larger room.
Restaurant staff and bar staff were the same. Meal packages were good value and offering good variety as well as big serves. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. All the staff were just great.
Check out was just as smooth.
I would recommend Next to anyone.

H.I have just completed my stay in brisbane overall i have had a exceptional stay great location the room was a great size and very clean ..the staff where very accommodating with our deal we got breakfast both days first morning my breakfast was to die for but this morning i ordered exactly the same thing and it was fowl i couldnt even eat a mouth full bacon and scrabled eggs on a sourdough by the time i had tried to soak up all the excess liquid (water and oil)off my plate i had filled a whole napkin the young lady asked if i wanted it replaced but by then the damage was done it was a sad way to finish off our stay...i will stay here again the location is wonderful

A. ✈. T.The Travelmints team was recently in Brisbane, and we decided to stay at the Hyatt Regency. It's a great location, in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, and it's perfect for people who love a bit of retail therapy, as it's surrounded by places to shop.
As we were on a work trip, we really enjoyed the break out spaces available throughout the hotel. There is an area in the bar and lounge that's equipped with tables and chairs, which was an ideal place to work, without being crowded.
Our room was the size you'd expect, and featured a king size bed. It was very functional, which made it a great space to work in, if working in the common areas of the hotel isn't really your thing. Once you're done for the day, you can hang out with colleagues/friends at the bar, on the pool terrace or by the pool area, so it's a great place to work and play.
If you're on a work trip, or just looking to explore Brisbane, then we definitely recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency. It's a great location, and there are a lot of places to work throughout the hotel, as well as places to relax after a long working day. The staff were helpful, and always checking in with us to see how our stay was going, which made for an excellent experience!

The menu is a bit restricted but I would be sure it changes from time to time. Prices are inner city prices but in comparison to other cap cities it is not prohibitive. You can sit near the pool, enjoy a breeze watch the people below or go inside. The fitout favours heavy wood and I like that. You can look up the prices o Google or lts of other places. The restaurant and the bar upstairs looks to be a fav hangout and might be a good place to start the night.

The location of the hotel is in the Queen Street mall and very central. The only down side to the location is if you have a large amount of luggage it is a short walk to a taxi rank or public transport, not a game changer just something to keep in mind.
They are well set up for people transiting at of hours with a large lounge area you can stay to relax before a late night flight.
I recommend this place to stay.

I was there two nights, and meeting in their conference rooms, so it was very convenient. Bring on Queen Street meant that it was easy to access shopping, food and South bank. Bar and restaurant were both quite good, although the morning tea provided for conference members was pretty poor. I'll gladly stay again and recommended it to my Business Manager for future conference bookings.

This place feels modern and has really embraced technology with your room being controlled by the Samsung phone supplied which can also be used as the room key. Hope to stay here again to put this place through its paces.

M. B.Stayed for just the one night, but had a wonderful stay. Hotel room was very clean and very user friendly, loved the use of the phone to control the room features, loved all the mood lighting in the bathroom too. The free items from the mini bar were also a great surprise. The staff were very very helpful and friendly. The hotel is placed perfectly for anyone wanting to visit Southbank, or enjoy shopping in the mall. I will defiantly be staying again soon.
J. W.One of the better hotels I stay. A tip is to put its address as Burnett Lane and confirm with the driver that they can actually access it! It's a technology savvy hotel with comfortable rooms and a great bathroom. The mini bar allows 4 free items per day which is a lovely touch from tight rip you off hotels. Some rooms have great views. It has easy access for food, shopping and business.

L. M.Best location you could hope for in the heart of the city. The pool bar really comes alive on these weekend afternoons. Sunny Brisbane makes you appreciate the beautiful pool, which has nice seating next to it. Well suited rooms and an outstanding lounge with sleeping pods, which I highly recommend if you need to get some business done.

Service was as good as any in upmarket hotels, however breakfast was a let down given limited selection for continental buffet any only a few options for eggs. Also, some rooms are not suitable for business travellers as they don’t have desks.
