Lovely stay at the Meriton Suites in one of their 1 breadroom suites. Late night check-in was very easy and the staff member who took care of things was friendly and helpful. Without asking I was given extra toiletries for my partner which was nice, I hadn't even thought of it to be honest. The suite itself was incredibly spacious. The living room area was massive. The biggest highlight for me was the bed. It was unbelievably comfortable. I prefer pillow top mattresses and medium soft pillows so I loved that the Meriton had this. I had a wonderful night's sleep. Although I didn't need it I do like the fact that they have dental and shaving kits, and a GHD hairstraightener on request. They also have dry cleaning services available too which was nice. The only "downside" and I use that word very loosely because it didn't bother me, is they had run out of fob keys for the parking. I had to ring the bell and ask to be let in or if I was heading to my car I needed to go to the front desk to ask to be let down to the basement parking ( the elevators worked differently than most and you need to go to the lobby, get out, swipe again to gain access to parking) in my case it was slightly more effort to get access. Due to the limited space the parking basement is super tight so be really cautious if you have a sedan or 4WD or Ute. Overall I would recommend the Meriton Suites.

Affordable and has all the amenities that you need, this hotel is excellent for long stays. However, one issue we had with our room was the dishwasher which had worn out buttons and needs to be replaced, it made it extremely difficult to operate the diswaher.

It is OK. The price does not reflect the produce. The beds aren't comfortable, some staff were a tad condescending, and there are little amenities. Booking parking does not mean you will actually get parking. On the up side the rooms are clean and the hotel itself is fine for a one or two night stay.

Both Meriton's Suites in Brisbane are amazing for service, views and location. Depends why I'm visiting will decides my hotel as they're at opposite ends of town. Herschel Street is a 5 minute walk to Roma Street Station, The Parkland's and a Woolies metro. Service is always top notch, friendly and with a smile, rooms are clean and survived daily, the views will depend on room type and position, Have only ever stayed in 2 bedroom with river views on floors 68 and above and they're amazing. Brisbane has plenty of hotels on offer, however Meriton is my choice of stay.

Stayed on level 72 so nice views and spacious rooms but the lifts and parking are a nightmare. Lifts out of order or in use can’t get to the parking levels.

Nice and clean room, great location. Bed was comfy but I asked a queen bed and got two twin beds put together. That was the only disappointing thing but the rest of it was lovely.

We chose a lower level suite because we weren’t keen on the height. The room was pretty average with torn/frayed carpet, walls were excessively marked/holed. Furniture was all marked and dented. And it was incredibly noisy from traffic. Definitely in need of a refresh. Would have been great to have options for a lower, nicer room. Wouldn’t stay again unless it was renovated. The shower design meant the floor flooded easily. Bed was amazingly comfy. Kitchen was stocked well with utensils. Nice shower pressure!

Overall fantastic. Beds were comfy and the shower water pressure is amazing. Kitchen was well equipped. The lifts took a bit to master and we didn't realise we needed the car park card to operate the lift to the car park. Kids loved that they could cast to the TV's from their ipads.

New high rise, we were upgraded to high level and the view is just stunning! Self contained service apartment, nice and new. Bed was comfortable, and unit was spacious. However parking is limited and only 4 lifts serving large number of units (much longer waiting time) gym was small and equipments already worn out… swimming pool looked good. Overall had good night sleep and unforgettable view of Brisbane!

We were very fortunate to have a fantastic room on the 22nd floor overlooking the river. After a day exploring everything art, I got to our marvellous room, drew back all curtains, put my feet up and just watched everything happen from my lounge chair which was at a prime vantage point. The reception staff were very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Thanks to them, I had a great time exploring Brisbane while hubby was working. The location of Meriton Suites is great, close to everything. I walked everywhere and really enjoyed it. Can't recommend this hotel high enough.

Amazingly helpful guest service team and beautiful property. We stayed recently for 3 nights and it was very spacious, amazingly comfortable beds and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped for guests like me who occasionally like to 'cook at home' while away. The pool and spa area is conveniently located and has a beautiful outdoor terrace, which is a great spot to sit and read amongst the greenery. I'm looking forward to staying there again in the coming months.

The room was large and clean. The pool was really great, a really good size. Marcus, the manager at reception was super helpful to the point where he helped me book a taxi and was even trying to help me to try to get a rental in the building, although that's not his job. So much appreciated! The only reason I don't give the place 5 stars is that the bathroom is very slippery, there isn't a fan or a way for the water to evaporate. I hope they address this so someone doesn't slip and fall. But as long as you're careful with that, everything is high quality and very convenient.

Gem of a hotel in the centre of Brisbane. The location is great easy to access and only 3 min walk from Roma St Train Station ( Which is better than Central). We caught a taxi from the airport which cost $48 cheaper than an Uber which was quoting $74. The room was spacious and very clean. The kitchenette even had a full sized fridge. Would definitely stay here again. Great value at $133 on Bookings.com Genius discount.

Great location to Queen st mall and restaurants. Comfy bed, big refrigerator and nice bathroom. Staff were lovely. The down side was kitchen not the cleanest, the couch was pretty filthy (stained) and when you looked out of the window there was broken crockery, ear buds, Bobby pins etc. WIFI was deplorable

The hotel got 3 stars purely because there was a lovely manager called Marcus. Customer service was on point, very accommodating and nothing was difficult. Rooms were ok but it only had 2 towels and no extra blankets. Parking was average, required two lifts to get to the floor which adds time, no balconies make it boxy but we should have read the hotel additions. We also chose hotel for a pool but the pool isn't adequate for children. Gym had faulty equipment. Location was good

I had a wonderful stay at the Meriton on Herschel St last week. The rooms were gorgeous and large and spacious and the view was amazing, with views up into the hills and mountains of greater Brisbane and a clear view of the sun setting every day. And I was only on floor 17! Many more floors above that! The staff were friendly all the time and particularly helpful for me as I had some extra accomodations I needed for work. The concierge on Saturday yesterday was particularly helpful in even trying to book out a whole lift for me so that I could take my bulky stuff down to my car more easily! Rest assured you will be looked after and have a wonderful stay.

I love Hao as a concierge. He is fantastic at the job. He was extremely helpful and made staying here from the moment we walked in, just a really enjoyable experience. The suite was so so clean and modern and I couldn't fault the place whatsoever. Absolutely the best value for money and I will definitely be returning here.

However last stay the air conditioner stopped working , the shower sprayed over the entire bathroom, including my expensive handbag, had to call for daily service to be done at the end of the days... not usual ! Poor room service. Had to keep calling to replenish. For example, in spite of making a note on their system, that i do mot take coffee and therefore put in extra tea, jad to keep calling them for tea bags. Waited an hour to get sugar for the morning tea. I had 2 stays booked with them cancelled the second one and took AirBnB instead. Lesser price, better service.

Great spot near Roma St station. Close enough for Fortitude Valley, Anne st, Queen st, and the CityCat ferries. Had a bit of a hiccup to start when the room we were given smelled a little musty. Brought it to the attention of reception and they moved us to another room without any hesitation or fuss. Big, clean room with great views. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna all great too.

The Meriton was very professional. All correspondence was handled through email, as opposed to a mobile phone. Check-in was smooth and they were very accomodating in allowing us to have two carpark spots. Room was very spacious, clean and well presented. We only stayed 1 night, but could come and go as we pleased, even up to 3am. Service was wonderful and we were all (4 of us stayed the night) very pleased with our stay. We will definitely consider staying again and for longer next time.

We Just had an amazing stay! From the moment me and my Partner went to the reception was a warm welcome. Sadly he works on his Birthday too. They gave us the 1010 room and it was nice. Got a bottle of champagne to celebrate my Partner’s Birthday, and a balloon! How nice is that!!? I cant say bad for this guys, they were the best. Good job Meriton Team! You guys deserves pay rise. Our 4 night stay at Meriton Hearshel St, Brisbane was just what my wife & I needed. A lovely 1 bed apartment, with full cooking & washing facilities, allowed us the opportunity to catch up on washing after 2 weeks of travels, cook for ourselves, but with South Bank food strip and local pubs so close we split 2 nights cooking in, & 2 nights eating out. The staff were very helpful. Even organizing a clothes airer for us. A very cost effective and enjoyable stay. Will come again soon.

Stayed on the 65th level and the view is amazing! The two bedroom suites make such a difference in your stay, making it a little more seperate. The bath was super nice and deep. The shower in our room did flood the bathroom but we managed to keep it clean enough. The bed was so comfy! The pool, spa and sauna are really good spaces too. The only trouble was the car park but as long as you take it slow you are fine. Definitely recommend!

I stayed 7 nights in Meriton for business and for celebrating a special event with my wife. The suite was clean and nice. The location is perfect close to Roma station where you have access for everywhere including the Gold Coast. The suite has everything you need. You will feel you are home. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are perfect; nice swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Thank you for your hospitality! Amazing value for money. Phenomenal views from level 73. Would recommend paying the extra for an altitude or penthouse suite. It's definitely worth it. Nice lobby, very friendly staff overall a very good experience and will return again. Probably the best value suites in this location.

We were incredibly impressed with this hotel. The apartment we were in was just one of their standard rooms but it had everything we needed (and more), and even had a very nice outlook out the window. The lighting in the rooms was the best I have seen in a hotel room / apartment for a long long time. So often these days hotels/apartments are terribly dim and badly lit – this place was really bright if you wanted it to be, but equally you didn’t have to have all the lights turned on if you didn’t want it to be that bright. There was excellent storage with heaps of cupboard and drawer space, and even in the bathroom where there were loads of shelves for storage. We were there for a couple of nights to go to a concert at the Suncorp Stadium and this was perfect location for that as it was a 20 min walk to the stadium, and an easy 15 min walk from the main shopping area of Brisbane, Southbank etc. The room was spacious with a good desk for working at, a separate table and chairs to eat at, very good kitchen facilities, coffee machine and a full-size fridge/freezer. There was a nice couch in the TV area of the room. Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable and with really lovely linen & pillows. Really nothing to complain about at all. They had an excellent swimming pool – we just wish we had taken our togs so that we could have made use of it! Finally, the staff were excellent - everyone was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable etc. etc.

Approached night manager (hope it's ok to state his name)Jonathan Denholm. Was not a problem easy fix replaced fridge. Food that went off had reciept money replaced. This experience was amazing. Beautiful and clean rooms, supremely friendly staff and awesome access to the city. I booked this accommodation for my partner and I just for the night as a birthday surprise. It allowed great access to all the great restaurants around Brisbane and had a killer view. Upon checking in I mentioned in passing about the surprise. When we entered the room later that day, we were greeted by a lovely card wishing her a happy birthday and chilled champagne. We were floored by the lovely gesture by the reception staff. This kind of thoughtfulness and attention to detail is what made this experience extra special and is the reason why I class the Meriton as one of Brisbane's best hotel.

Check in was easy, staff very friendly, one bedroom apartment had everything we needed. Shower was hot and water pressure excellent. My mistake with bedding configuration when booking was corrected for me cheerfully and quickly. We only had a single night stay and a very early check out so couldn't comment on multiple night stay, but highly recommend.

My husband and I would like to thank the staff at the Meriton Suites at Herschel Street in Brisbane for making my birthday so special. Due to booking nearly a year in advance they were able to accommodate my request for a river view room for River Fire. We were not disappointed. The studio apartment was nicely appointed and views from living and bedroom areas. We were so high that when the C17 and the Hornet did I fly by we could feel the power of their engines. It was the high light of the stay. Like to add the location is great for convenience, small convenience stores nearby and places to eat and not far to walk to Southbank. Thanks once again for a lovely stay and making my birthday special. Would stay again.

Good location for the trains but a little bit of a walk to the CBD. The "Modern" layout apartment is quite nice. The only complaints would be that the windows did not seal properly and whistled in the wind. Also the mixer valve on the shower buzzed like crazy. Lastly the shower door doesn't keep in the water well and the floor outside it can get slick. Other than that the staff is very friendly and the beds are very comfortable. Also, air conditioning system is very nice. Would use again.

The service desk was extremely polite given that we arrived extremely late at night and in a very disheveled manner. They helped and explained all the details we needed in a clear and polite manner. The room was spectacular and completely clean and we'll made upon arrival. The only issue I had was with the shower designed in such a way that the water from the shower flowed out to the rest of the bathroom to some extent. Apart from this very minor issue the experience was wonderful and I will be definitely recommending it to others.

Nice, clean and modern. 1 star deducted because the windows are quite noisy and because I expected my room to have an independent stand up shower as per the description/photos yet it had a tub/shower combo. When asked at the front desk whether I could be moved to a room with a single shower, it was explained that all the rooms with single showers had no views. Kind of a let down in that regard. Otherwise a good hotel.

The rooms are clean, spacious and very well equipped with a modern feel. I didn't notice any outside noise at all during my stay, though that could have partly been due to the background noise created by the air con. I would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the better suited to live in if you are visiting Brisbane, the bedroom and bathroom will certainly grab your attention. We were living here for 2 nights and it was wonderful. It has good modern security with a sophisticated touch and you will feel like you are living in luxury during a vacation. One flaw of the unit is the lack of building space. You will have to turn all the way to the back to park your vehicle and the gym and swimming pool is on the 5th floor rather than outdoors. Another disadvantage is that there is no balcony for you to view the scenery. But the perks will outweigh the overall cons. Overall, we will definitely come here again in the future.

Stunning views of course from the upper levels. As far as serviced apartments go, these are ok I would say. Modern and clean, really nothing to complain. The overall atmosphere however is a bit sterile, dull and plain, there are the words that came to my mind. But that is certainly a question of personal taste rather than objective facts. Great for a few days to stay, much longer I would need a bit more warmth and cosiness.

Comfortable stay, with spacious room/apartment at a great and convenient location. this is one of the tallest buildings in the city, so try and get a room high up in the clouds. Easy walk from Roma Street station. Cabs can be waved right outside. Good restaurants nearby. Short walk to the shopping areas with lots of eating options. Room is excellent with all necessities provided, with comfortable bed. Deliveroo can be used to deliver food here

Extremely safe environment from the front door at night to elevator system so always feel comfortable. Will continue to stay here. Having travelled extensively - I can certainly say this is ALWAYS one of the best places to stay in Brisbane. Minutes walk from the city centre while still being off to the side enough that it is very calm and quiet at night. Really good location to walk over the bridge etc too. Very spacious large rooms with decent sized new clean kitchens. Highly recommend!

Good hotel, with washer and dryers. Depending on your travel plans that is a huge plus. It's good for a Navy port visit. Also, secure lodging with keycard for each level. It is close to decent breakfast and a bridge to the bar area on the south bank.

Very good property. Rooms are great, lifts spacious and nice. The staffs were serious but helpful. The only thing unsatisfactory about the hotel is the service at night. Looks like they are understaffed. Whenever we needed any amenities from the hotel, they always took a lot of time around 1 hour. Services can be improved immensely.

Stayed here three years ago and this time something changed noticed. Toiletries are changed to a possibility less expensive local brand in Sydney and towels are starting to worn. Cleaning is starting to substandard as I see lipstick marks left on bedsheets and the gym equipments are continue to use when they are out of shape or become very noisy to operate. However, I still love the fantastic services provided by the front desk as they are very helpful in all our needs. I would still preferred this serviced apartment over hotel as I can have greater flexibility in how I stay. Overall, this is still a great place to stay, but things are starting to change a little bit.

Excellent location with a magnificent view of the river and Southbank. A short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and parks. The apartment was serviced each day and was comfortable and clean. If you have a car I recommend their paid parking but you need to ask for a permit to place in your windscreen to prove you have paid. For some reason it wasn't automatically given to us when checking in so we had to ask for it after getting a warning note that we may be towed away. Will stay again.

Have loved staying at these serviced apartments. They are wonderfully clean, well serviced, and in a great location. It has been very useful to have a washer and dryer, with detergent provided daily, and the cafe next door delivers to your door. You can even have the fridge stocked by Woolworths if you give them your reservation number.

Riverfire is their busiest night and we decided to grab a room and have a relaxed night. The room was not overlooking the fireworks due to high bookings and us choosing a lower room cost. So the room was low as well. Facilities are great, the gym is well equipped and the pool heated and friendly. Being a serviced apartment all necessary cooking facilities were there and in great order. One request would be a quick guide for the combined microwave & conventional oven as it took time to work it out. Everything was clean, tidy and just great. We had a great evening, got up early and explored the city as well.

Nice place. Great location and stunning views... Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good facilities and attention to detail. Love the security feature where you scan your card and it takes you to the respective floor, thus access only to lobby, your floor and parking. Few things to note: ( These are not much issues for me and so still with the rating I provided.) When on higher floors the lift seems to take long time to reach, esp when there are ppl to different floors. There are 4 lifts for the higher floors. But this is something to be expected when there are too many rooms and ppl around. Getting to parking floors with big vehicles can be a bit of challenge as the are narrow, but you can still make in one try. Could see lots of paint marks indicating not all were that lucky. The sound of ambulance and police did wake you up if you are not a sound sleeper. There is no cafe within, but have options just around the place. Overall nice place and which I would definitely recommend and visit again...

Checked in okay and allowed us into room early. However unpacking into the cupboard we found a bathmat with a brown substance smeared all on it. Windows taped shut with sticky tape that rattle when the wind blows and a leaky washing machine. Room overall very comfortable though and beds are amazing. I found him to be a bit rude and ignorant to my issue. It was really important for me to attend a business meeting but the manager Raj responded by saying, "it's not a natural calamity mam. I suggest you to use your own cellphone data". This thing actually disappointed me as he said it in front of business colleague. This unprofessional behaviour of Raj under the name of Manager of a reputed Hotel is poor and disappointing. He needs to learn some business ethics. Just to respond to his suggestion, I suggest Raj to undertake Customer Relationship Management Course for a better understanding. Hope he understands and grow up someday, and learns how to respond to a customer.

This is one of the highest towers in Brisbane, offering panoramic views from the upper (more expensive) floors. Note that basic apartments are restricted to floors 1-10. Internally, suites are maintained to a very high standard. Spacious, comfortable and with excellent amenities. A/C is extremely efficient! The lifts take some getting used to. There are no buttons inside the lifts, but you have to use your roomcard to summon lifts. Therefore, you can only travel between the lobby and and your personal floor. If you try to use the wrong lift (as I did first time) you'll be stranded on your floor! Having said that, it's quite sci-fi, though not really any more efficient than a standard lift. There is an internal heated pool and gym, with sauna. Room service will deliver breakfast, or food within 30 minutes to order. Overall, highly recommended.

This place is really good. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment. Beds are damn comfy and fluffy. Everything was good. Also, they unexpectedly changed the whole television itself when we were out because we mentioned that we had problems with the remote and they did not have a spare remote. No easy feat switching sets on the 70th floor which was what gave the 5th star. Place was very spacious but people with children should watch out for the seriously sharp coffee table. And I really mean it when I say seriously sharp! Probably could cut some cabbage with that design.

Everything about the room was amazing and it's only a short walk to queens plaza and south bank which is great. The problem with the Merton is that when you book you are never told you'll be putting up an extra $50 for overnight parking, you'll also need to learn how to use their elevator system. It's a bit of a pain to have to come from the parking lot to the lobby, walk around to the front desk where the other elevators are and then be able to go upto your room. Other then these things it's a nice place to stay

Meriton, Herschel street, is a great location if you have business in the city, Paddington or both. The facilities are adequate though not spacious. I stayed in a single bedroom on the 10th floor. A river view is probably an extra as I was given other buildings to look at. Not a huge concern as I paid less than $130. It has a gym, pool and spa although I can't comment on these as I didn't use any of them. One benefit is that these are open until 23:00. While service at the front desk is a reserved and a little stiff, a local café (Dash) are very friendly and provide delivery to rooms free of charge through the week (as long as the order is over $13). I would stay here again but would prefer to pay a little extra for a riverside room.

We have stayed at the Meriton Herschel Street twice. It is the perfect location. It is close to the Roma St station. We are able to walk to the Queen St mall and Southbank to shops, cafes and restaurants, and many Brisbane attraction. The apartments are very clean and well appointed. The only issue we had was the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. The staff are friendly and are very helpful and knowledgable. The Meriton is now our go-to accommodation when staying in Brisbane.

Love my stay here although its only for 3D 2N. Great location, we were lucky to have chosen Herschel St Meriton and not the other. Near shopping area, free shuttle bus round the city and free ferry shuttle/cruise on the river. 5 mins walk to Roma St for Brisbane Transit for our train ride to Varsity Lake to catch our plane flight home to KL. Not forgetting, we thank the helpful reception lady (😊didnt get her name but she had her injured left hand on a sling) who checked us in. Comparing to our stay in Sydney Meriton, there is good improvement in the room and hallways. 👍👍

The Good, the Not as Good, and a Few Tips Positive: - good location in a great spot in the CBD (a short walk to Queen Street, restaurants and amenities, very close to the walking bridge to Southbank and the Westend. - friendly staff (especially Carly who went the extra mile for my fiancées birthday). - great views (Altitude Suites guarantee the best views. Meriton Herschel is touted as the tallest building in Brisbane). I can only imagine what the Penthouse Suites are like. - nice suite layout (comfortable furniture, kitchen, temperature controls and TVs, in every room, good shower pressure, bathtub in the master en-suite, laundry room with washer and dryer...) - on-site parking (although I would like it packaged in with the hotel stay, the $35 a night is a low price considering the cost of parking in the Brisbane CBD) - There is no on-site restaurant, but they have a deal with a food delivery company. The cafe next door has great coffee and a nice selection for breakfast and lunch. They’ll also deliver free to your room. - They recycle. Every floor has recycling in the garbage room. - Indoor pool, fitness centre, and garden (We didn’t have time for any of this, but the fact they have it is a plus) - The Meriton tries to keep the lowest room rate you can find online. It’s nice to book directly with a hotel. - Their cancellation policy is generous, and there is no payment until arrival. Negative: - driving through the Brisbane CBD can be confusing with its one way streets and GPS blackouts. The good thing about staying at the Meriton though is it’s the enormous tall black building and you can judge your location from there. - It’s $35 a night for parking (see the mention under Positive). Make sure you budget it into the price. - The furniture was left uncleaned and there was refuse on the outdoor awning (they promptly cleaned the furniture. And what are they to do about disgusting guests who throwing stuff out a 70th floor window). - There were no cleaning products or kitchen cloths. We were going to wipe the furniture ourselves. And it’s hard to hand wash dishes without a cloth. Thanks again to the shy, but friendly, cleaner who quickly took care of this for us. There is not much parking outside so if you are coming to pick someone then ask them to come down well in advance. If you are staying here for a couple of days then do not take parking from Meriton as it is really expensivem Go to gumtree and find parking for Meriton and you'll get parking spots by people living in apartments, they will be 25% of what Meriton would charge. Or there are Wilson and Secure parking nearby, book online and get a full day parking there which would be cheaper as well.
