M. T.Amazing attention to detail! Got into Brisbane late night and being able to check in after 11pm was perfect - room was more spacious and accommodating than expected (loving the half open bathroom doors) and room service goes above and beyond everyday. Nothing bad to say about this place and I havnt even tried the restaurant downstairs yet! High quality standards and will definitely be my number 1 stay again coming back to Brisbane in the near future
H. B.Just sensational! In all my years of ever staying somewhere, because of so many little things this would have to be one of the best I’ve ever had! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the best service I have ever had in a hotel. She was sooo lovely. We had a pool side room that highly recommend, it was clean and very comfy. The lift to parking was easy. Everything seem to go smoothly. I wish we had a longer stay but we had only booked one night!

A. P.Stayed at the Novotel Southbank last night. Staff were friendly and professional. Upon arrival staff informed us they couldn’t accommodate the on-site parking we booked and we were going to have to park 2 blocks away. After informing them I was pregnant they accommodated us on-site (thankfully). Rooms were clean and comfortable. The mattress was amazing, currently trying to find out how to buy one!
Room service was reasonably priced for a hotel, was disappointed that there wasn’t any stock in the bar fridge though, which made having a drink or snack out of room service hours difficult.
On-site breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced when booked online.
Not on the main strip in Southbank but still a convenient location.
We would recommend the hotel putting some drinks and snacks in the room or making drinks and snacks available by room service 24/7.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend or return (with snacks).

As an Accor member, I have stayed at a few other more premium hotels in Brisbane and this one exceeded my expectations both in terms of service and the hotel room. Fantastic communication and everyone I spoke to went above and beyond to be helpful and cater to our needs with a smile. Great location, close to everything around South Bank/West End. Room was big, clean, with decent views. Breakfast was delicious. Also, very thoughtful touches like a birthday card and chocolate left in our room for the birthday boy. Main issue was very heavy doors prone to slamming and suboptimal soundproofing which meant I was woken up throughout the night by other guests entering and leaving their rooms despite wearing heavy duty ear plugs.

T. J.Stayed at the Novotel as part of travel a specialty entrance exam at the Brisbane Convention Centre the next day. Check in was wonderful, with an absolutely above and beyond personal note and welcome gift with card by staff.
Their attention to detail and choice of a relaxing room away from noise was really appreciated, and was part of my move to Accor chains now. Would highly recommend this hotel as a new, out of the way quiet place to stay.
Will definitely stay again and cannot recommend highly enough!

K. G.Great location and modern rooms. The highlight of the place was the customer service- most of the staff were lovely and made you feel very welcome. I did however find that the room was still quite dirty upon my arrival. Quite a few stains on the walls etc. I wiped these down with a towel, but for the money paid I would have expected the place to be spotless. The room itself was also a lot smaller tban expected for the price paid. If the room had been cheaper, I wouldn't have minded, but paying $750ish for 3nights, I guess my expectations were higher.
I would stay again, for the location alone. But also find myself wanting to look elsewhere.
The staff at the restaurant were lovely and accommodating. Particularly the young lady with the glasses (im sorry, I did not catch her name). She was a great help in pairing wines with meals and was just so kind and easy to chat to. Making the experience more enjoyable.
J. W.During my stay at Novotel South Bank, I found the hotels facilities and room very clean and tidy. Housekeeping came daily and very quickly tidied the room, and the reception staff went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. The underground carpark was quite full over the weekend, however spaces were still available, and it was far more affordable and safer than parking off-site. It's also only a five minute stroll from the main south bank area, and right next to the convention centre if you're attending an event there.

A. P.I stayed here for my 40th Birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in our stay and you have to try the English breakfast it was amazing. My room was very comfortable with Dyson hair dryer,bottle wine,cookies,iron, air con,wifi and foxtel. There is alot of amenities such as a pool,gym and also a cooking lesson you can enjoy with the kids during your stay here I would highly recommend everybody give this place a go you will not be disappointed.

A. M.I usually spent here my work trips to Brisbane because the location is very convenient, rooms comfortable and very new furniture. In general it's a good choice if you need to work in this part of the river, otherwise I would prefer something closer to Botanic gardens

The staff bought up a bunch of room service requests throughout the night and kept me and my guests very happy.
Parking is easy if you’re okay walking 5 minutes across the park, where it’s free unlimited on weekends and nightly on weekdays.
The restaurant is great downstairs and often busy, with decent prices.

Spacious and brand spanking new with great mod cons...wish there had been a tub to relax in. Breakfast was excellent - NOT the cheap buffet fillers which have become standard in so many hotels. This is one of the best Novotels I have stayed in. I will def stay again
C. J.Nice hotel. Good location. Close to restaurant hub, Queensland Performing Arts Center, Convention Center and South Bank. Easy to find and get to by train ( plus very short walk) or car. Rooms are clean,quiet, modern, with beds comfortable. If walking to south bank, convention center or theatres turn right outside the door for a very short walk. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is nice. But table clean up is slow. I love the hand written notes of " thank you" left in your room when it's a return stay. I recommend staying here.

Only issue was the lack of parking and the miscommunication about parking arrangements. We were uninformed at time of check in that the alternative parking would be charged to our room ($30). Still a few teething problems with things like the WiFi and the layout of their breakfast buffet (not enough room for all the food, good problem to have though). I’m confident by the time my partner and I return that these issues will be fixed. Well located, 5 minutes walk from the river and tourist attractions. Highly recommended!

It’s nerve wracking going away in these times but the Novotel Southbank do a fantastic job of providing a safe and enjoyable time away.
The hotel is quite beautiful and in a very handy spot. You can stroll into Southbank or the city. The rooms have all the mod cons including lots of charging points and the best hair dyers on the market (Dyson). There’s a gym and a pool (all with Covid regulations).
The breakfast is not to be missed. Buffet breakfasts are a thing of the past but you can order a”breakfast style” like continental, English (not just the tea), healthy or French. Huge servings!
However the best part is the staff. They are so kind and happy to help at anytime. They organised a late check in no problems at all.

r. d.Check in was handled by someone untrained who could not find our booking. Who tried to charge me again for a room that was paid in full.
We then find out that our premium, lvl 9(top floor) room does not come with a car park.
Information that was only in the fine print of the booking after having paid for the room.
The manager came out and said that parking is included in room bookings.
But brought our listing up and changed her mind that it wasn’t included.
The confusion at check in, and price gouging for parking AFTER having paid for a room has left us with a very sour taste in the mouth.
Happy to edit this review based on the next few days stay, but at this point 2/5.
So.
We are now in our room, which was booked as ‘Premier King Eoom with Curry Views’.
Burt instead it USB the accessibility room. The bathroom would be great for wheel chair access, but is not suitable for our romantic weekend escape.

The staff has realised they have made a mistake.
They have moved our room to the correct room, which includes a car park and is a much much nicer room.
A little bit annoying to have gone through this, but everyone makes mistakes.

M.New hotel in an OK location. Rooms facing the park are significantly less desirable. Was upgraded but both TVs in the room had such bad reception that they were unwatchable. Parking on-site is an extra $32 a night and they filled the carpark when we were out so had nowhere to park when we came back. Staff were helpful but just too many errors overall to recommend.

Room service food quality was ok. Sweet potato chips were a bit cold on arrival. Calamari and chilli was quite nice. Buffet breakfast was well stocked with a large variety. Overall an enjoyable stay and would stay again.

N. T.Novatel Brisbane is a modern hotel in an excellent central location. It's ideal if you need accommodation adjacent to the Exhibition Centre.
The staff were responsive and friendly.
The bar in the lobby makes some tasty cocktails and the buffet breakfast is recommended if you have a huge day and need the energy.
A quirky feature of some rooms is that the bathroom sink and facilities are practically in the bed. See attached pic. It didnt bother me but I could imagine if you had people in your room for drinks, there isn't a lot of privacy if you need to use the bathroom. Best to meet at the lobby for any socialising, that is my suggestion.

H. S.This is a new and very modern hotel. Perfect for travellers visiting the brisbane convention centre at it is less than 5 minutes walk away. For the fitness minded people, it has a gym and swimming pool. It is also right opposite a huge park good for running etc. The restaurant downstairs has a good range of food, but the hotel is so close to the Grey st. precinct, that I didn't want to stay in. EvenTs hotel room has Foxtel, Wi-Fi and Chromecast for entertainment. Even the cinemas nearby have cheap tickets. In short I was spoilt for choice. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Reception is open 24/7 and no request is difficult. They have all the emergency supplies e.g. toothbrush if you need a well. I had a lovely week staying at this hotel.

E. S.The Hotel is new ... So we can say ... it should be better or to hope they are just beginning and they’ll improve ... Think to buy water when you are outside!!! Very poor Wi-fi !!! The new innovative bathroom can be ok if you are all alone in the room... Otherwise, ... to go to the bathroom can be a problem ... Also, in 2 ... if someone wants to use the wc and someone else the shower ... then, good luck ... (there is only one sliding door) So, again, the concept is interesting and it looks nice ..., but for the functionality with 2 people inside the room in the same time ... it’s 60% acceptable.
The wardrobe is really a problem !!! instead of space witch can be enough to build something functional. The inside of the wardrobe in this moment is made by 2 hanging bars which are fixed in the other direction then normal and they are limiting the possibility to see inside and to choose what you want to wear easily. If you are in 2, then good luck ... it’s even more difficult ... no drawers, no spaces for little objects or clothes that you don’t want to hang ... (for us, we have two single beds in our room and we used one to sleep and one to put the clothes ... which is not acceptable ...)
Good news is the swimming pool (15m I think ...)
At the ground floor you can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner. Not bad the view and the light inside ... but ... for dinner it can be put “more heart” inside the plates ... The people serving in the restaurant are in 2 categories ... some very welcoming, friendly and willing for you to feel well and others ... which are not made for this job. Sorry, but it’s true ... and it’s sad because they ruin the effort made by the others ... 3 stars hoping they will improve in time ... The Hotel is promising with a good position and quiet ...

Kids loved the pool and thr buffet breakfast the next morning was awesome. Would stay here again and definately recommend.

A brand new beautiful hotel with contemporary design and wonderful central location. South Bank Parklands, Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre with plentiful of restaurants all within walking distance. Short walk to local bus and train station too. Staffs were courteous & friendly. Restaurant served quality breakfast and dinner was impressive too.
Room was spacious and sparkling clean with extraordinarily comfortable bed serving us a good night sleep after a long day out.
The hotel is right opposite a beautiful park. My kids love chilling out at the basketball court and playground there.
We enjoyed our stay so much & will definitely be back again!
