I was surprised about the comfort your hotel is offering (welcome drinks, parking, pool & spa, bidet, coffee maker). Staff were absolutely welcoming and mannerly with respect for personal space and etiquette. Pleasant bar with soothing music. I appreciated staff separating families with children from single guests in the breakfast room. Decent breakfast buffet.

It was such a relief after being stuck in an hour long traffic jam to be greeted by a very friendly staff member when we drove in, who got a trolley for us and took care of our luggage and parked the car! By the time we checked in, our luggage was already in our room. The room itself was very clean, spacious and had a welcoming old world ambience. And the bed was super comfortable - I had a wonderful night's sleep, not something I experience very often with other hotels. I highly recommend the Royal Albert for your next Brisbane stay. :)

Fantastic Hotel! From the moment you walk through the lobby doors, you are greeted by friendly and smiling faces. The service was amazing and the atmosphere and feel of the hotel and rooms was very iconic and different to any other modern hotel. Will definitely be back!
M. B.
Beautiful hotel with a classic luxury feel. Enjoyed my stay thank you
M. L.
Wonderful location, excellent authentic Italian food downstairs at Cafe Monial. Excellent value, Apartment old world superb. Spotlessly clean .
S. G.
Stayed for a 4 day break, room was nicely appointed, and spacious. Not quite touching the luxury feel in my opinion. Nice, very nice, but not that nice. Room was deadly quiet, which has been achieved by double glazing the original window...so if you like fresh air....you can't open the windows. The rooms weren't getting serviced because of Covid...although we find that puzzling, the resort we are staying at now has daily room service and way more people, so figure that out. No car parking on site for bigger vehicles, but Myers across the road is literally across the road and staff will give you vouchers to get your car out of jail ($20) and will add that to your account. Rubbish bin in apartment was too small for the amount of occupants it could hold, and because the room wasn't serviced we ran out of bin bags and toilets rolls pretty quick. Don't get me wrong, the staff said if we need anything just ask. But in my opinion, if your paying top whack, we really shouldn't have to. All in all a good place to stay, in a great central location. Staff are very attentive and know their jobs and cannot fault them at all. They give the place the feeling of luxury and opulence but other aspects of the place just can't quite catch up.

Great service
Amazing food (big breakfast)
Well done team
Highly recommend this place guys, great vibe with chill music.

Ok, so probably a 4.5 stars but better than 4 so five it is!
1. Location: smack bang in the middle of heaps of activity, walking distance to the river and city botanic gardens. Heaps of restaurants and cafes, shops, parking, gyms all in very easy walking distance. City bike hire just down the road
2. Room: massive! Huge room, large bathroom, very high ceilings. The bed was comfy, the kitchenette well appointed. The minibar was very well stocked and actually reasonable prices for a minibar. The bathroom looked like it had been newly renovated and was excellent. Some of the appliances are dated but I guess if they work so what? The bedroom and furniture also is quite dated but in good condition and clean.
3. The service: staff bent over backwards to make sure we had a safe and reasonably priced spot to park our rather large car. Could not fault it.
D. M.
Absolutely stunning! Like being in another time. Couldn't control the temp in the room and the plumbing noisy throughout the night. Not a good night's sleep 😔Rooms are bigger than most.
R. L.
amazing building with perfect apartments. the building has so much history and is the most beautiful place to stay in for Brisbane. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will come back again
T. F.
Such a beautiful hotel, and the rooms are so spacious. Much prefer it to the modern little cramped boxes. And everything is just out the door - the city, Myer centre and South Bank all so close.
E. B.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were always happy to assist. The rooms were beautiful and the facilities were great!
J. A.
The food was good and staffs are friendly.
F. C.
We stay here every Christmas for a few days and occasionally at other times too. Spacious rooms with quality, old style decor. So enjoyable to have a room right in city centre, as a quiet retreat from the city centre!
C. F.
What a fantastic old building. Heritage listed and is very very well kept up to pristine Maintenance...its a credit to the owners. It's so refreshing to stay in a era of Building that had finesse and care attached to it. Staff are fantastic and the location is excellent because it's in the most central point of Brisbane City. There is onsite parking via Car Lift parking which utilises confined spaces. I recommend a stay for all ages as they combine old World charm with new Technology with the added bonus of being so central. Keep in mind this is not a Resort and doesnt have all the amenities such as Gyms and Pools the newer more modern Hotel/Motels do...however if you are one who don't tend to use them anyway, it's a top place to stay.
S. G.
An older style hotel that is in need of a touch up. Rooms are generous in size with all the things you need. The one I had was well worn yet still clean enough. Quiet hotel once you leave the (small) lobby. Good location near plenty of pubs and restaurants.
R. R.
Staff are courteous and nothing was a trouble for them to help us. Location superb. Definitely staying again. Highly recommend
6.
Excellent. Great reception staff. Good range of rooms, studio's thru to multi bedroom apartments. Central to city & eats which they all are I guess. I like the room and hotel styling. Plush with old timey features
G. M.
Lovely rooms. Elegant. Clean . Great value for money and top location
c. T.
I have had lunch at The Royal Albert twice now and have found it fantastic value for money. The food is really good and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it. I have just stayed there as well and it us fantastic. Big rooms kitchen and laundry in apartments. I would stay there anytime as it is just incredible and the staff are so friendly and helpful.
A. (.
Hotel and room were great, car parking is very limited and restricted. My only concern is that when you check-in they debit your credit card for $200 as a security deposit which isn't returned for 10 days. This seems excessive and unusual as most places I have stayed simply debit your card for $1 to check it is live then keep in on record if required.
M. C.
Gorgeous old school rooms. Great staff who are more than helpful. And the rooms are so quiet compared to the noise outside.
R. S.
This must be the best value for money in Brisbane! Exquisite heritage decor, the most enormous and well equipped hotel room I've ever seen, friendly staff, and cheaper by far than any other CBD hotel. What a find!
A. E.
Great boutique hotel in historical building. We've stayed many times and staff always meet our expectations. Very large, clean and comfortable rooms. Only downside is limited parking due to no underground parking being available.
K. A.
Amazing heritage hotel in the heart of Brisbane! Stayed here with my partner and we both had such an enjoyable stay, the location, staff and room could not be faulted. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to Brisbane!
T. M.
This was my first stay in this kind of hotel. You are within walking distance to just about anything you could want to do. In terms of the room all well cleaned. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff was second to none. I will go back again & again.
L. B.
I stayed at the Royal Albert for just over a week & I had such a wonderful time. All the staff were very lovely & accomodating. The decor was gorgeous & the rooms were cleaned every day. It's close to everything with a great cafe just below. Highly recommend
L. W.
Check in was fast and efficient, staff were super helpful throughout the duration of my stay. The room was lovely within a great location. Will definitely be coming back here upon my next visit to Brisbane!
S. Z.
This the boutique hotel and convenient for quicki stay if too far away from home after night out. Think you can stay for few hours instead overnight or even longer terms like one or two weeks. Make change from staying in the big hotel chain like Hilton or Sheraton.
f.
Very central to nice food and bars. Staff were friendly and the room was well appointed and private. Good showers and facilities. Would stay here again.
M. P.
Amazing location (great boxfit gym across the road allows drop ins). Shops on the door step. Rooms are of a old classic style but modernised in the right places (ie bathroom and kitchen). Always clean and never anything to fault. Staff are helpful.
S. N.
Had a family dinner Al fresco. The waiter was exceptional, having a deep knowledge of all the dishes and was very friendly. The food was reasonably priced for the sizes. The atmosphere was pleasant. We had a bit of trouble ordering desert. The chef didn't know what pecan pie was, and the honey dumplings were a bit underwhelming.
I will go back here next time I'm in Brisbane.
V. V.
The room was amazing! Really spacious and classy. Very clean and comfortable. Service was great!
R. L.
The Royal Albert is right in the middle of the Brisbane city, excellent position. It's style is very "old fashion" and has a classy feel to it. The rooms are massive considering it's position. The key cards sometimes do not work on the door however. All in All, would recommend it for anyone looking to be in the middle of everything, as there are restaurants, cafe and a Myer center just downstairs.
C. K.
Very nicely appointed, large rooms. Gorgeous bathroom. However aircon was poor, and the shower head, while large, was actually a ring of water saving nozzles so barely any water comes out.
h.
Good location, hotel is old fashioned and quirky. Bathroom and second bedroom are small and uncomfortable. A/c is ineffective when the blinds are drawn, windows do not open for fresh air, can't cook for fear of setting off alarms.
W. M.
I should really write a poor review so i can be assured of a room when i need it.... but i can't do that... this is my fav hotel in Brisbane... room size is brilliant... everything else positive said by others is 100%. My ONLY negative is i wish it had both a oven and dishwasher.. or upgrade the microwave to one of the combined convection oven/microwave units (Target have them for $120... I have one at home)
M. T.
It was okay. Staff were nice but I don't know if you can rate it 4 star when the light is hanging from exposed wires above your head, if sitting on the couch? Carpets were stained badly as well and no free Wi-Fi, which is not really acceptable nowadays especially if you charge $20 for 24 hrs!
K. L.
Very convenience location and spacious sub-penthouse room. Nice staff and easy valet parking.
Cleaning couls be better as we all sneezing all the time in the hotel.
b. d.
Stayed in room 1706 from August 14th for a week. Truly wonderful stay, everything worked in my room and staff were there if needed.
Great location if anything needed walk across road to Myer center.
The hotel looks stunning inside as pics on website shows.
The one and only thing is being there for a week ckeaners could vaccuum the floor sometime and under the bed was terrible when i dropped a coin.
Overall though i rate it higly recommended.
T. T.
Stay here every time I come to Brisbane
C. F.
Lovely spacious room with all the amenities you would need. Location is perfect for experiencing the city. Only knock was the view which can't be helped.
B. M.
Location is perfect very close to city centre and southbank precinct rooms were ok beds were comfortable rooms were relatively large and bathroom was above average although hotel was very quiet and rooms slightly pain not to sure about service as i was meeting a friend
K. G.
The Royal Albert is a beautiful, immaculate hotel, rich in history. Our room was highly elegant and in excellent condition. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is suburb, with immediate access to the CBD.
J. d. S.
Non smoking rooms but mine had a strong smell of cigarette. Free parking for guests in the heart of Brisbane CBD is a must but not at this hotel. So overall experience was not that great.
P. W.
Fabulous decor, happy professional staff & excellent meals via room service. Will definitely be back.
A. H.
Very spacious well appointed room. Price is very reasonable
B. B.
Beautiful place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay in the cbd. The beautiful cafe downstairs was perfect. Very much recommend this place.
H. T.
Excellent central location. Great friendly and efficient staff. Quiet, clean rooms with all amenities. Highly recommend.
B. V.
Love their Fish & Chips!
Whole and freshly-grilled. No batter, no crumbed. A rare find these days. Glad I've found one.
K. L.
Very comfortable, large room. Self contained with laundry and kitchen facilities in-room. Staff were attentive. Comfortable bed.
M. L.
Beautiful place to stay. Staff were lovely and helpful.
N. E.
It was right not to crash hot beds were a bit small could not get the foxtel going
A. G.
Great location within the CBD. Rooms are beautiful with heritage furnishings. Staff were very friendly and helpful!
T. V.
Great staff and location, unique heritage building and style
B. B.
It was quiet even in the heart of city. Staff were friendly and obliging.i didnt order from the Albert but went out.it was a nice weekend.
i. r.
Royal Albert's one of the greatest hotels in all over Australia. The room service is fantastic and the manager is a sick lad.
a. l.
The most beautiful hotel I have stay in
A. W.
Decent rooms at decent prices. Only issue was that the foxtel reception was bad; then again it's only foxtel (groan) so I didn't care that much
D. B.
Nice and close to mall food restaurants not the cleanest place for your money but the staff are helpful the rooms need to be vaccumed dust bunnys and tags from last guests and one bed had dirty sheets that had blood on them which was taken care of straight away put it down to a room that was completely missed by cleaners but other than that great stay
B. W.
Great central location. Room is set out well and larger than most. Very affordable.
a. l.
best hotel in the Brisbane City area!
A. D.
A nice clean hotel with wonderfully high ceilings. A little tired, but undergoing some renovations. Would stay again.
R. B.
Pleasure to be there again - great service and friendly staff - good value rooms and presented well
T. G.
Exceptional rooms. Wonderfully polite staff that catered to our needs. Valet service was well organised.
L. R.
Staff were helpful, apartment was beautiful. Bathroom was stunning. Couldn't fault it.
B. J.
It had a nice older style about it, while it's location was second to none. We enjoyed it.
D. V.
spacious and friendly but very noisy - thin wall, I can hear sound from the corridor and the plumbing makes a loud noise each time it's shut off.
B. B.
Pleasant and helpful staff at all times of day a special night (and I do mean that literally). Great position, close to everything on the CBD.
M. S.
Highly recommended. Great hotel rooms, location- very central and great helpful staff!
R. G.
Hotel was top quality, but additional parking fees of 25$ per night were not mentioned anywhere beforehand.

(Translated) A bit dated, but that's what makes it so charming. Very well located, clean and spacious apartment. On the other hand, the prohibitive cost of WiFi: $ 10 for 2h

Un peu vieillot, mais c'est ce qui fait son charme. Très bien n situé, propre et appartement spacieux. Point très négatif en revanche, le coût prohibitif du WiFi : 10$ pour 2h
