Look, great hotel, service was perfect, you can hardly fault the place, but a word of warning to anyone looking to hire the Casino Suite here. DO NOT let them give you room 3250! The room itself when you walk in is amazing, but upstairs there is an ensuite that has a continuous running water issue in the pipe in the floor. You can hear it..... ALL NIGHT. I asked them to check and they say it is normal. I couldn't sleep a wink and closing the door did nothing. Like I said, the place is amazing though, just stay away from that room.

What a lovely hotel with old world stately charm. The room was grand with very high ceilings and long draped windows. Windows also had blackout curtains for a sleep in. Room was quiet even a beautiful full length bath to soak in and the 2 x queensized beds so comfortable. Lots of extras included, staff very helpful and breakfast was yummy. A totally refreshing stay and just a short walk to the Lyric Theater where we attended a matinee of American in Paris. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Awesome casino with a range of lovely options for food and drink. 3-Stars because I lost $500 gambling 50c- 2.50 bets on the pokie machines and didn't even get 1 feature 😅😅 would have to be the most unlucky person on the floor that day! Being a hotel worker myself it was refreshing to be on the other side of it. Room smelt like stale stagnate water. Air con was on and to cold for my liking. Friends bag was in my room and not hers with the concierge service. Loved the ginger bread house. Admired the old Lift. Loved there are couches everywhere to sit and chill out side of rooms. Staff were nice and interactive. A+ for bacon crispness at The Lab for breakfast. Overall: great experience.

Always love staying at the treasury hotel and love that the restaurant kitchen in the casino is open 24/7. Members also get cheap $10 meals which have previously been steaks and this current visit was avo on toast with bacon. It’s also free to sign up for a membership! We had a concert on but didn’t have our tickets printed and the lady at the hotel reception was so lovely and printed them for us. Also went to extend our stay but unfortunately they were booked out for the night so the lady offered us free late check out. The hotel rooms are also really nice, even the cheapest ones and the beds are really comfy. We’ve stayed here 4 times now and always feel looked after

I had a wonderful dining experience at Treasury Kitchen. The medium raw steak was cooked perfectly to my liking👌which came with serving of grilled prawns, refreshing salad with light Wasbi dressing and basket of tasty fries. Love the food so much that I went there a couple of time.

Always great, be sad when it becomes the Ritz Carlton. If it changes any. My lord, the lengths of the curtains in Room 107 is worth the stay to see. Fat Noodle always a great feed. Wife loves that is 1 of the few places she can get an alcoholic slushy at the livewire whist having a play.

We had an amazing stay for our anniversary. The upgraded room was amazing to say the least and the staff could not have been any more helpful. We are airline crew and when we reached this place it was post midnight. The security here was inconsistent, some of us were left with our residents I'd card and some were asked to go back and get other ids's After security shift change, the new security guards had their own wish list of I'd proof. It felt more like racial profiling than actual security screening. The place is nice, unfortunately none of the bars were open late n we had only this option. Tomo if bars are open to late, we will not come to this place for the way the security treated us.

Recently I had the great fortune to stay at Treasury Hotel with my partner. It was a special day so we treated ourselves to a night at a hotel in town and found a pretty reasonable price for what seemed like a well appointed room in the heart of the city. When we arrived we were treated like VIPs at every stage of our visit and were taken care of by every team member, from the lobby managers, to the cleaning staff, to the cooks, and even the managers of the hotel. The rooms have history and charm so don't expect the latest gadgets but don't get me wrong, this hotel is classy and respectable in every way and I would recommend it to every one I possibly can. Thank you to all the staff at Treasury for making our night so very special and we look forward to staying again soon!

We have stayed on the hotel side before, but this was the first time staying on the casino side. It is way better on the casino side! Location is amazing! You can just walk down the stairs and we are in the casino. The casino suite was nice too. We had a great view! Next time staying here, I will definitely choose a casino room instead of one on the hotel side!

This is a very small casino in the brisbane city in Australia. The design of the casino is abit funny, its like a maze. The casino is setup in a historic building, it reminds me of my old boarding school in NSW. But, for those people that likes old and historical building, it's quite a different experience. The room and the bathroom of the hotel is very historical, its like you are steeping back in time. 😊 holiday

I NEVER leave reviews but enjoyed my stay so much I had to! The building is lovely, I love the historic feel that's been maintained. The room and bathroom were lovley, great size bath and perfect shower pressure and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in!! My partner and I had the stay and dine package which included a dining voucher and free breakfast. We had dinner at Ryan's on the park and staff were lovely and attentive and food was delicious! Had a few cheeky drinks at the casino so used the dining voucher for room service for some midnight snacks-pizza chips ect, again the staff were lovely and food delicious! Finally breakfast was at the lab and once again staff was friendly and attentive, I coffee was delicious and the food was great! Only negative was we noticed the dining table at both restaurants to be very sticky! But upon further inspection it seems to be from the product they are using for sanitize the tables as we saw many staff cleaning regularly so was not due to dirtiness! Great weekend was had and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend! reception staff were great too! Very knowledgeable and friendly! Honestly couldn't not have asked for a better stay! Thank you treasury!

Stayed here this weekend…quite surprising and different… had a hotel suite that could have been easily made into an apartment as extra things were needed, especially for the price charged you would think there would be a decent sized fridge that’s cold!! Kitchen etc… that’s what the rooms lack unfortunately. However I do like the olden day feel and style of the rooms. First issue was upon check in where they tried to charge double, we were told a set price over the phone with members discount. The lifts were also a let down, especially over the weekend and it’s busy, one lift operating is not good enough. The hotel is outdated and about time the whole thing got revamped with easier access to the casino. All in all probably wouldn’t stay again.

This is my favourite place to have Christmas lunch. My husband and I go every year. We love it. It's our tradition. It's great to sleep at (the hotel is amazing and the bed feels like you're sleeping on soft clouds) and they are so so SO good at dietary options. As someone with multiple allergens, this is important to me, and the Treasury never fails in this regard. I fully recommend having Chrissy lunch while staying at the hotel so you can roll out of bed on christmas morning to have an all you can eat buffet and the roll yourself back to bed. Found the customer service throughout the Casino generally very high and while a bit dated the fit-out is well presented. We ate at Fat Noodle and although 1 meal was very late coming out the food was outstanding and it’s hard to complain when they don’t charge you for it!

Nice, animated, big screens with sports TV. A couple of bars and restaurants around the main room. Having seen other casinos, must say that I didn’t click with the place. It is a bit too open for me and doesn’t quite reach the “boutique” sophistication that perhaps it could have had. It feels to me a bit like a very big Pokies place. There’s no nooks and crannies to cosy up with a drink and watch the world go by. But that’s a personal perspective and I am sure there’s lots of fun to be had in its rooms.

Always fun for the Gaming..BUT had a burger at the Kitchen cafe and it was disgusting. Tasteles, dry (all 2 of us) and almost inedible. Chips were nice..but no sauce with them. Chips with fish n chips were soggy and yuk...very disappointing.

Great night out. Signing up to the star club gave us plenty of discounts on our meal and drinks, then plenty of variety of games and tables, laid out in a way that is far less depressing than many other casinos I've been to in London, Dublin or Vegas.

Its gone a long way from when I first visited about a decade ago. While still struggling with the lack of light due to the building, you don't feel nearly as caged in. It can still be a bit of a maze, but the main rooms, especially with table games, are very inviting.

Architecturally stunning late 1800s building that still retains many of its original features. The huge rooms have ceilings that are 18ft high, beautifully dressed windows, marble bathrooms, quality furnishings, very classical in style which suits the building and with a large television too to which you can Chromecast. An affordable price for much luxury. Friendly and efficient check by Iris and when they heard it was our wedding anniversary, they arranged for a complimentary bottle of bubbles - incredibly kind. Cannot fault our room, the service and our stay and will most certainly stay here again. Wonderful experience in a building steeped in history. Short walk to the art galleries too so tomorrow will be the cherry on the top. Quick tip: become a Star member to enjoy discounts in the various bars and eateries! The process is very quick and you also can save on car parking. Finally : Thank you Mr Campbell loving the ship you Captain.

Stayed at the Heritage Hotel for two nights and loved the amazing retro interior, very spacious, the fantastic bed, and the bath tub was a god sent after a long day of site seeing. But the best experience was our interaction with the reception staff at the lobby! Clair and her staff made us felt really welcomed. They knew our needs before we even knew what we needed!! If you’re a tourist then I suggest popping in for a drink and dinner. Gambling is optionally but if you’re coming to a casino then you’ll probably be putting some money on the tables. Tables are good, although in rent years they increased the table stakes and added/amended games to make them lower odds for players. I think they do happy hours between 6-7 on Friday nights.

It is by far our FAVOURITE hotel we've stayed at and we've stayed in a few. The character of the old building makes you feel like you're a royal, and the customer service is impeccable. Great place. You can get lost in it so easily which can be fun. Heaps of different machines to play. Restaurants are all great value n delicious food. Staff are helpful n courteous. I would recommend becoming a member as you get a lot of bonuses n you get inside a lot quicker. Only downfall is leaving with a lot less money😱🤑😵 BUT that's gambling!!! 😁

Family stayed here twice (two difference visits). First visit 2014 - nice and big room in the building across the street from the casino. Second visit in 2015, smaller room in the same building as the casino. Nice staff and great buffet (lobsters yum!). The rest of the restaurants were average. The building feels a bit old and run down but adds a good rustic feel to it, so I don't view it as a negative. Lifts are a bit old and slow. Great central location.

We booked here on a spring deal for three nights. The service staff were excellent when checking in and out. The room was nice, clean, and relaxing. It was awesome to have a full length bath. The food at the Lab Restaurant was awesome. The wait staff there were terrific. It did not feel like they were hovering aroumd, as you get in some places, but were quick for service and to answer questions. Everything they did, they did with a smile. I will definitely be going back again if the opportunity arises again.

Booked a night in the Casino Deluxe King room. Check in was easy. Receptionist was polite. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It was extremely clean and tidy. We were provided with more than enough towels, two bath robes and a stocked mini bar. Not much of a view from the Windows but that wasn't a bid deal. Spent half the night relaxing in bed which was super comfy. However, if you intend to get physical, it will move thanks to the castor wheels haha Ordered room service, two mains and two drinks which were at our door within 30 minutes with a smile. We highly suggest the Angus beef bacon and cheese burger and Margherita pizza. Both dishes were hot and delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests that we made. We'll definitely be back again soon

Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. You no longer find hotels with such expansive rooms and high ceilings. The staff are all extremely friendly and willing to make the stay that bit more enjoyable. The building has been maintained well and features such as the exterior of the lifts are excellent. The gym is also well appointed. Additionally, been able to easily access the casino which contains loads of entertainment and dinning is wonderful. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

I booked the casino side and I did not quite enjoy the casino side, so asked them to change to hotel side and the manager, staff, concierge were so kind and met my expectation. Especially the manager of the front office she was really nice and thank you for the room upgrade for us our anniversary. Also breakfast was stunning. The location of the hotel is nice and definitely we will visit the hotel again.

Our experience at the Treasury Hotel was second to no other hotel of its standard that we've ever stayed in. Every member of hotel staff that we dealt with (reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, bar) were incredible - very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble and they seemed genuinely happy to help us. Our room' historic style was gorgeous and also had all the contemporary features you expect, the bed was really comfortable, and the 'little extra' in room features were just what we needed - espresso machine, bath robes! We will recommend the hotel to everyone we talk to and will stay there again.

Could be stricter with masks and be like WA and only have four at a blackjack table. No social distancing really. I stopped gambling after 30 minutes because of masks off and too many people surrounding the table and not obeying the rules. Plus being allowed to get very intoxicated inside was not a good display. And the dress code. It didn't feel like a special night. But that was my first time there and the first night out of lockdown. But feel concerned enough from the experience to do voluntary lockdown. Disappointed but will return one more time. Stay tuned for an update.

On my resent trip the Brisbane i stayed at the treasury hotel. While at southbank i tripped and fell on my arm. Not knowing where to go for help i walked back to the treasury hotel. I asked the reception for help as i did not know where to get medical help. The staff was great. Their first aid training was helpful. The hotel organized a paramedic to come and check me. I had broken my arm. thanks to the staff at the hotel for making sure i was looked after.

Also they give you points in your card if you play and you get free food it depends how regular you come to casino and free parking as well . I would say Just play for fun .or come for food and go home .

Were in Brisbane for the concert and picked this hotel because fell in love with old building and high ceilings. Went for a suit room to get a balcony and lots of room... The room wasn't ready at 2pm so we were offered free drinks in the bar while waiting. When we finally got to the room instead of huge bathroom with both bathtub and shower there was just bathtub with shower above it. I was very disappointed as paying such price I would expect to get at least decent shower! So on the phone with reception, they asked if we want another room and we literally had no time to wait for it to make everything planned. So the staff of the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant - we got some free drinks and food, late check out and free parking. And promise to get us a room with shower next time :)))) so overall experience was just sensational and the size of that room, the ceilings and the furniture made me feel like a queen! Not to mention the perfect location in the center of the city! Will definitely come back there again.

Our check in was handled by Jason who was very friendly and attentive. The hotel has many dining options available and is just short stroll away from local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment. The room was enormous and surprisingly quiet considering its location. With regards to the bed, those that prefer a firm mattress might want to bear in mind is that the pillow tops are extremely soft! Overall we had a lovely stay.

This casino is a rabbit Warren, with lots of nooks and crannies everywhere, easy to get disorientated. Didn't realise until ready to leave that downstairs is the main pokies area with 100s of machines. I believe that the new casino The Star is not far from completion which will be great, as this building is nice and old historic even, but felt it wasn't suitable as a casino. With covid restrictions is very complicated to get drinks at the bar and they were minimal. Didn't get how there is no distance restrictions when sitting so close at the pokies but there is restrictions when playing on the tables, 4 per table. Both indoors?

The I stayed in was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfy. The staff are friendly and very keen to help guests have enjoyable time. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the room windows, the bars blocked the beautiful river view! We had lunch in The Kitchen lower ground floor. Atmosphere busy... food good...not great. Staff very attentive and friendly. I had the chicken BLAT which was nice. My hubby had an Angus Beef Burger which he said was not good, very dry. Considering these were both $22 each we did expect better. The rest of the casino is as a casino is expected to be. Gaming tables and lots of poker machines with bars scattered around.

A very strange but delightful casino! There were funny little rooms everwhere with sometimes just a handful of gaming machines. The building itself had a lot of old charm, the food was fantastic and the staff members at reception that help sign you up were very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a look! Unfortunately I did not get his name but it appeared he assisted the front desk and also carried our luggage to our room. The front desk staff all were professional and pleasant. Dining room for breakfast were nice and pleasant. We do not know when will be our next visit but sure we shall return to this lovely place. Already recommended your hotel to a few of our friends. Always a great place to visit and could not recommend enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming hotel.

This heritage hotel has spacious rooms with lovely amenities. Large bathroom with bath and shower, plenty of vanity space for all. Well stocked fridge but only 2 pods of coffee and no instant. Lots of room to sit on the couch or at the table. 2 double beds were luxurious to sleep in. Free morning paper included. The Lab restaurant meals are excellent but pricey, as is the breakfast. Room service is available but food wasn't hot when it arrived. Guests have free parking although the lift is currently not working so had to walk across the street to the casino to access. All in all a lovely place to stay

Where to begin ......... the silence inside the suite compared to the loud street outside, the Egyptian cotton sheets on a bed that must have been made out of clouds, the amazing breakfast, the immaculate decor and furnishings, the wonderful and super helpful staff (special shout out to Terry on Concierge for his friendliness, cheerful attitude and knowledge of not only the building, but also our suite and to Maria and Flynn at breakfast - beautiful smiles are a great way to start anyone’s day). You’d have to be the pickiest person from Pickyville to find fault in the Treasury Hotel and it’s professional, friendly staff. Why can I only give this 5 stars when it deserves so many more! Best accommodation in Brisbane, not even comparable with the Emporium and Stamford Plaza ..... don’t even bother looking anywhere else. We stayed here for 7 days, it’s a lovely hotel, nice spacious rooms and very helpful staff. 3 stars is for the trouble that we would encounter to get to our room. With this being our first trip into Brisbane, we would leave daily to travel about. There is one entrance to bring you straight to the hotel, other than that you have to walk around and through the casino which you’re not allowed to with bags. If you leave prior to 7am the hotel door is closed, leaving you to walk through the casino, and the same if you come in after 10pm. We would constantly be asked for our IDs even after explaining we were hotel guests and showing them our room key, even when they see us with our hands full of bags of souvenirs. Our stay has been good, and the location is great, but it’s definitely not the “tourist” hotel.

Very limited opening times for the table. And plagued by drunks which staff seem reluctant to remove. Blackjack and the few variations are available however there tends to be not enough tables. If you like baccarat then this IS the place for you, with far too many tables. The hotel rooms are nice. But can be expensive if you arent using a coupon or voucher. Parking is an issue still. Even playing and paying customers are refused occasionally unless you are a gold status member.

They used to have a quick hot food little place in the he best salsa/sweet relish I've had in nachos ever and now the little place is closed which is so sad. The treasury really is a a lovely old building but the trashy public who go on a Fri or sat evening and get drunk and bad mannered ruin it at times.

Been only at their casino and different restaurants. The casino got friendly and hospitable staff and just like most establishments in Brisbane, you'll be greeted with warm smiles and greetings. The restaurants also offer great food at reasonable prices, though it's best to register as a member for vouchers and discounts. Registration anyway takes just a few couple minutes, so if you're not in a rush, membership's free. :)

Couple nice bar areas at which to watch races or sports (not sure if they show US sports). Warning to foreign visitors -- they do not take tips here, so don't offer. The Bite restaurant inside seemed to have good food, limited seating. There is a poker area in the back with a few hold'em games.

They don't allow hats so I left it on top of the lockers. As it happens it just wasn't on the cards for me on blackjack. So I carried my sorry backside out of the casino to find that my hat had fallen down the back of the lockers beyond my reach and in my mind, beyond rescue. I quickly informed security of my sorrow, who instantly contacted someone who was in a position to help. Within 10 minutes a man arrives wielding a hook stick, climbs the lockers and sweeps my hat to safety with ease! I may not have made any money but I made some friends. And I still have my cap! So many options for casino games starting from 1$. Located right next to the river. At night it glows with blue light. Identity card or age proof is a required document to enter the gaming zone. So many options of games from blackjack to roulette and many other exciting games based on more of luck.
