I've stayed here twice and this will definitely be my go to for a Canberra hotel. Rooms are absolutely lovely and spacious. Swimming pool/sauna/spa are on the smaller side but a very nice addition.
If you're staying a Friday or Saturday night - it would be cheaper to park in the local streets. Weekend parking is free, and if you're arriving on a Friday you only have to pay the meter until 5:30 (which for me was $4).

We really like the studio!! The room design is good and cute. You can cook in the room and use the kitchen utensils. You can enjoy the swimming pool, spa and sauna on the top floor. The woolis is just near and convenient. Although the male staff's attitude is not friendly but doesn't reduce its advantages.

The room was clean and the pool facilities are well maintained, spa was a nice temperature. Parking is confusing and not well explained, also costs $15/day. Check in was OK but they give you very little information. The rooms themselves are weird, there is no number for reception, no information at all about the hotel or facilities, restaurant, or anything else for that matter. The beds in the rooms are inside this weird little glass room that seem pretty pointless. There are no towels provided for the pool and spa. The restaurant itself is very overpriced considering its just basically average pub food. The service in the restaurant is great however. I waited for 10 minutes to check out and there was no one at the desk at all and no box or anything to collect room keys. Overall this place is ok but don't expect fantastic things.

Beautiful rooms and very clean. Staff were also lovely and efficient. Great location - close to the AIS, restaurants and lake. Would be even better if they had pillows that were a little lower (mine were too high set) and if they had a couch in front of the TV instead of single chairs.

Clean and well appointed rooms, dishwasher washing machines in both king sized and 2 bedroom suites.
Signs / directions should be clearly marked, example leading to the basement 3 car park (quite confusing) and exit from the swimming pool (you have to squeeze your hand through the other side of gate and lift the lock - almost impossible to figure out in the absence of signage)

Great place to stay. Family room was amazing. No near neighbours. Level 5 has amazing facilities of a shared green space with BBQ and pool. A must for families looking for budget high quality accommodation 100%

Fairly new set up, kids friendly. Hopefully they will add more facilities like Restaurant or Cafe. There is only restaurant/Bar and which was closed for New Year period. Also, definitely need better arrangement outside for patrons to drive in and check in.

Magnificent experience!
Perfect destination for a health & wellness retreat with your fur babies. The facilities are state of the art! Really enjoyed the gym, pool, spa & sauna. We loved the fact that there's washing machines with dryer & dish washing machines in the apartment and studio rooms we stayed at! Perfect for long stays!
Unfortunately the theatre & library is only available to residents along with the wine cellar and event space near by it.
PET FRIENDLY:
My x2 pomeranian fur babies (Apollo & Audrey) particularly enjoyed socialising on the roof top garden - meeting other fur babies. You'll get plenty of sun & shade! There are a few picnic tables scattered in the garden with a functioning BBQ area. The staff & guests here were amazing to them which made it an incredible experience for them both!
ROOM:
We stayed for 2nights in the 1bedroom apartment room 326 (clean & presentable. Sitting area with TV isolated from the room) before transitioning to King studio room 324 for 4nights, (very cosy & comfortable. TV directly in front of bed) 1 night in room 203 (very spacious & positioned directly opposite the guest elevators. Room perfect for anyone with disability).
LOCATION:
BWS & Metro (Woolworth) convenience store is literally 5 steps away from the main Hotel lobby entrance. There's a burger takeaway store near BWS and behind these stores across the main street is a skate park near KFC and in the opposite direction is a park with walking trails so Adobe Belconnen is perfectly positioned to create convenience for all guests!
REVIEWS:
Before staying here we had read both +/- reviews! We've left our expensive products in our rooms while we were out but taken photos before leaving, nothing went missing as claimed by other guests so the staff here can be trusted!
House keeping may improve by a small percentage but isn't enough to ruin our whole experience! Consistency is key! They are always willing to get us more towels, sheets, pillows, coffee etc if requested.
Entering & exiting car park space can be a little confusing but after the 1st attempts you'll be all good for the rest of the stay. Maybe more signage on either direction can fix this moving forward.
The receptionists & concierge team was extremely proffesional, friendly & welcoming! They made it an unforgettable experience for us both and we couldn't thank them enough for the wonderful services they provided us during our Christmas and New Years break.
For an LGBTQ couple with pets who have worked in the Entertainment & Hospitality Industry for +10yrs we give you all a 6star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Thank you again for the amazing experience! Will highly recommend you to all our friends, families and networks! Will see you soon

Love this hotel! Had an awesome outdoor area for doggies and you can take them with you to a designated area in the restaurant. Food, absolutely amazing! 👍🐶

Quite a nice place to stay, with reasonable service and facilities. Unfortunately we had to evacuate twice in three days (with the fire brigade attending a third time), which, while not the hotel's fault was unpleasant. We would have liked some explanation or offer of a cup of tea or something.

Was a great experience for three nights. Super Clean room, no noise, great customer service and you can expect from a hotel are there.
The ladies at the reception are very professional and welcoming. PM shift, Kathryna did amazing job for us(organise more pillows, cover sheets, towels, etc). AM shift was a lovely lady (Sophie) who knows her job Professionally and the level of her customer's service is unbelievable. The way she talks with the customers on the phone or at the reception was with positive energy and super helpful. Always smile on her face and it makes a friendly and super positive atmosphere for the customers. Strongly recommend this hotel in terms of customer service, comfy and budget. Definitely will be back there.

Beautiful appartment. We booked 2 BRS are spacy and brand new facilities. Rooms are clean and room service daily.

The rooms are nice, but was not completely happy with cleaning service. Cleaners did not always do a good job replacing towels

We had a one night stay in a deluxe apartment at the Abode Belconnen. We were travelling with an infant where we had ample space to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.
The apartment was spacious, clean and everything was still fairly new! The only downfall is that the hotel is surrounded by other apartments which doesn’t allow for privacy, so at times you cannot have the curtains drawn back. The staff at reception were friendly and allowed us to check out late even though they were fully booked which was very much appreciated!

Beautiful, well appointed and clean rooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor, no noise whatsoever, very peaceful! Staff were friendly and helpful, easy parking downstairs and Woolies & BWS across the lane. Would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again when in town.

Great hotel , rooms clean, close to the lake and restaurants.
The only minus...i had to pay extra $15 for the parking. Rest is excelent

We absolutely loved our stay here. We are travelling with our cat, and our room was perfect for a pet friendly stay. There was nowhere for her to possibly escape or get into trouble. We were able to enjoy our stay without being nervous for her safety.
The rooms itself was very classy and sleek. Everything was clean and well presented when we arrived. We found it odd that the bedroom door was see-through glass, but being a couple that wasn't too much of an issue, however I could see how it may make others uncomfy.
Reception while checking in was lovely, the lady at the front desk was very friendly. We had to make a few calls to the front desk during the night and each time the staff were very helpful and polite.
I definitely reccomend staying here

pros:
- spa/pool/sauna were really good. pool was heated so it was nice (still too cold for me though lol).
- the coffee machine was nice to have, although you have to keep going to reception to ask for more capsules because housekeeping doesn’t seem to refill them.
- the rooms are quite nice and modern - I would love to live in an apartment like this.
- the tv/chromecast & wifi were good and worked well.
- convenient to have washing machine/dryer/dishwasher/heating in room. makes it feel like a real apartment.
cons/feedback:
- we had a late check in (~11:30pm), and, on arrival, the front doors were locked and there was nobody at the reception desk so we couldn’t get inside. we were confused about the parking so wanted to ask but we had to figure it out ourselves. then, when we got there, the guy at the desk explained the wrong instructions about the elevators. the reception staff always seem to be in the back room and don’t really listen to what you are asking them when they’re at the desk (although one guy (harry?) and one lady (don’t know her name) who helped me move rooms were extremely kind).
- housekeeping cleaned our room while we were out and took one of our room card keys and only gave us one towel even though we obviously had two suitcases in the room? they also left the bed half made and pillows on the floor lol.
- the washing machine makes your clothes smell really weird, and the drain in the shower doesn’t work so water just goes all over the floor, flooding the bathroom and making everything wet.
- we stayed here for 2 weeks and there were 4 fire alarms in that time. I heard another guy say he’d been here for 2 months and it had happened 10 times already.
- the pillows are way too high for anyone and every night of sleep was uncomfortable.
- the fridge/freezer only worked either as a fridge or a freezer, so the ice cream that we thought would be fine in the ‘freezer’ melted :(
overall: 3/5. would stay here again but there are just a few things that could be fixed as mentioned above.

The Good:
Clean, very new.
Spacious (King Studio) for 1 - 2 people
Staycast on TV
Free Wifi
Full equipped mini kitchen
Restaurant/Bar downstairs
Friendly check-in staff
The Average:
Bed is "firm". Guess I am used to
Parking (basement level of public carpark)
Temperature of room. Can be adjusted but seemed to be always too hot (they had iron 28.5 degrees Celsius when I first entered, why??)
The Bad:
Hallways noise at night through the door. Couple times I woke up thinking someone was trying the door because of it.
Overall:
Yes I would stay here again.

2 nights stay was perfect. Tiny rooms with “ok” room service, limited staff, no telephone access to reception and if they make the waiting time better at the lifts will be a great help to their customers. Overall good to stay at this brand new tiny room apartments for short stay. Cheers!

Perfect for our unexpected long stay in Canberra. Small studio apartment was great, especially useful having a washer and dryer in the room. Added bonus was the Woolies Metro 20m away.

One of better hotels. Very good gym and pool.
J. N.
brand new hotel and still working out some kinks but a week in a 1bedroom apartment was comfortable and convenient
The room was well mapped out with separate living and sleeping areas, a small but well equipped kitchenette (with pod espresso machine) and a combo washer/dryer.
Bed was perfect.
Woolworths metro and BWS across the road, short stroll to Westfield Belconnen and some great coffee shops within a 5 minute walk.
Staff were professional and cheerful

Parking is difficult to arrange. But other than that its a very good hotel.

Very nice rooms great bathroom.
Only problem the washer dryer needs instructions how to use 5 hrs to wash and dry a load of clothes by that time clothes all shrunk and couldn't open or turn it off.

Excellent position near Belconnen Mall, Belconnen Markets, and CISAC. Affordably priced in comparison to most other Canberra options. The facilities are great, and the staff are quite friendly and courteous. On-site, limited underground parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early to get a parking spot, especially if you have children or a lot of luggage.

Made a booking via Air BnB, the room was spectacular, so modern and clean, eve had a washer dryer! Free WiFi as well.
Right across from a woolworths which is perfect if you want to cook in the kitchenette.
Lots of food options if you want to order Uber or a restaurant on the ground floor if don't feel like ordering in.
The price is fantastic for what you get, can't wait to stay here again.

Very clean comfortable rooms,I stay here often.

Rabbit warren of elevators to come from the bottom basement. Confusing checkin when parking car. Nice rooms once you’ve made it.
J. I.
Nice rooms, wifi is good unlike most hotels that offer free wifi and doesn't quite get your room
b. k.
small rooms, poor housekeeping but if they sort that out ok for 1~2night stay. Does have a bar restaurant,, parking and gym plus pool.
R. L. B.
Even took my poochy there and had a wonderful stay

Very noisey. The music outside where all the stands are is very loud. What is the point of having music outside the facility at midnight ?! Should be turned off at least after 10pm. Unpleasant

Very new hotel everything is good except one thing: Some how the two bedroom suite come with transparent glass doors for both bedrooms
