Very nice hotel. Well appointed at a reasonable price. Great to have a full kitchen and laundry facility. The TV system is not great and locked up several times. Could not turn it off when going to bed. Good amount of parking when you figure out how to get to lower level. Clearance of 2.1m but spaces are tight and corners/ramp also tight.

The room is perfect. Big comfortable bed, great shower as well. The service has been fine, secure parking and easy access to the centre of Canberra. The food and the service reflects the rest of the standard through out the hotel. The price is extremely competitive for what you get. A great place to stay.

Giving it a 4 as the dishes including some of the glasses has finger marks and were sticky, with Covid cleanliness is paramount! On the positive side, the location is great, we rented the two bedrooms room which provides enough space for everyone. Each bedroom has their own TV and the kids had their own little living area.

Wonderfully decorated hotel with good amenities, friendly and helpful staff and a really nice modern feel to the rooms. The furniture in the rooms are all really well chosen and beautifully compliment the aesthetic of the place. The single bedroom apartment we stayed in had a great layout with the living space and the bedroom separated by a hallway. The living area included a large L shaped lounge, full size dinner table with wonderfully comfortable chairs, and a really good sized kitchenette with a small fridge, dishwasher, microwave and stovetop. The Nespresso machine was a welcome add-on. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom well laid out and modern. The only complaint about the room relates to the wall switches. When you first arrive and enter the room, it wakes up. It turns on the lights and opens all the curtains in the living room for you. It's really quite neat. The switches have a few settings including a mood option that dims the lights a little or turns off the overhead lights and leaves the accent lights on in the bedroom. Operating the touch screens takes some getting used to. You touch and hold until it gives a little beep. Then after a short delay the lights will change. They aren't tactile switches and don't provide a haptic response so you are often not sure if you are touching it right. The delay from touch to action also means you can turn something on and off again accidentally quite easy. This is all easy to learn though and is a minor criticism. Where it becomes a bigger criticism is in the bathroom. When you are in the shower and the switch senses the steam and believes you want to turn the lights off, you will be stranded in the dark dripping wet and naked. After the shower we also had it go in to disco mode turning the lights in and off while we tried to get ready in the mirror because it thought we were touching it again. In summary, this is a great hotel. Highly recommended for business trips or if you need to stay in Canberra for a few days for an event. Just take a torch with you in to the bathroom!

Staff were great. Very helpful and polite. The couches seem to be designed to specifically not be sat on, and the TV doesn't work correctly. Even our friendly staff couldn't get it going. Hopefully just teething issues with it being such a new building.

Spent a night in a one bedroom room with a toddler and partner as a layover from our road trip. We had a much needed relaxing stay. - All areas of the hotel was clean, comfortable and decorated lovely. - Fantastic amenities, we requested for extra toiletries and they sent up more than we requested! - Room service was swift - Pasta, chips and Arancini arrived in 10mins piping hot along with a delicious tiramisu - Rooms are great at sound proofing a crying toddler - 2 level carpark - make your way to the 2nd level ample parking on L2 - Conveniently located by car to Dickson and Canberra Centre and - Friendly/helpful reception and staff. Will certainly be back.

This beautiful modern hotel was absolutely perfect. The heating/cooling system was perfect, the coffee and tea facilities, minibar, room service, electric push-button devices in every room, stylish furnishings, comfortable bed - everything was amazing. Including the staff. I’ve stayed at some incredibly luxurious hotels, but this is probably the one I enjoyed the most. I will definitely stay again.

Comfortable well designed rooms. Friendly staff. Welcoming ambience. Entry/exit to a well lit ample car park, was tight and awkward. Small issue with room cleanliness that was overlooked and never addressed as promised. Restaurant was spacious, clean and featured a gas fireplace, unfortunately my meal sorely lacked and only partially presented as per menu description. Bar comfortable/inviting and staff capable. Breakfast buffet looked inviting. I’ll stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic! Now every time we go to Canberra we have stayed at the Deco Hotel and LOVE it! It was our 4th time and I thought I should leave a review. The hotel is just perfect, CLEAN, modern, extremely comfortable. The design of rooms is functional with great features from touch pad for lights, curtains to the beautiful functional bathroom. The deco is modern, neutral and calming tones. The location is superb, central to everything in Canberra. We like to eat out and it's close to literally everything... War Memorial, Civic, Dickson, Anslie etc. Service... amazing! Professional, very helpful and genuine smiles from staff, so it seems like they like working there! This is the type of hotel where it's worth staying if you want to get out and about and have a base. It doesn't feature ballrooms or superfluous things, so all the value is in what you really need in a hotel, and for us that's why it's so valuable. Honestly for the money, it's world class!

What a gem of a place! Leaving some of the group owned hotels in the area well behind..! Great friendly staff, and easy check in. Plenty of space to park out front while you run in, and two levels of parking underground (which is neat and tidy and not smelling of garbage like some places do) I was fortunate enough to get a one a bedroom room, which was ultra modern. Nice finishing touches like automatic curtains! Kitchen was more than sufficient! And the washer and dryer was excellent. Did a load before I came home so nothing to do! Awesome balcony and I discovered a fold out sofa bed..so essentially it could have slept 4 people. Bar downstairs is also really nice, small but good for a lobby bar! I didn’t get to go to the restaurant but the menu looked great. Doesn’t matter, because I’ll be back in a few weeks! Thank you for a pleasant work stay guys!

Great hotel. Very clean, great amenities. Room serviced before 2pm everyday which is good if you want to have a rest in the afternoon in your room. Very efficient and helpful staff. Good value buffet breakfast if you book the night before. Will definitely be coming back here again.

Friendly staff, when checking in the female receptionist was knowledgeable about the local area and places to visit. Our 2 bedroom suite was very clean, and perfect for our family. (2 adults and a teenager), they have pay for view movies all very new, which was great as we watched a few. Their restaurant is 5 star, I had the steak cooked to perfection, my husband and son enjoyed the barramundi, we spent a few hours enjoying our meal. Thank you for an overall great experience for my family.

Whilst on our trip to Canberra we decided to extend our stay by one night and booked with Deco Hotel last minute. What a wonderful hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were beautifully appointed. It was clean, cosy and comfortable and we immediately felt at home. We loved the addition of a secondary little fridge (not just a minibar fridge). Definitely worth a visit!

Very clean and comfortable place to stay near the centre of Canberra. The apartments are also situated near public transport and shopping centres. NOTE to get into the car park the cornering was quite tight so maybe bring a smaller vehicle if possible. Overall the DECO HOTEL is a marvellous place to stay and I would highly recommend staying there.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for four nights (two adults and two children in portacots). Everything was wonderful, staff very welcoming and helpful and the whole hotel was very clean. The room was actually much bigger than it appeared in the photos! Highly recommend.

Stayed here twice over the past two years. The first visit was amazing, 5 starts all around. We got an apartment which had the two bedrooms in the one room. The 2nd visit was a big let down. This time we were split over two rooms, which was interconnecting with a room in each. The room was not very clean, hair all over the carpet and marks on the dining room floors. Reception staff advised that housekeeping had finished for the day and could only offer a vacumme. They did try and make good with the issues, by offering free breakfast. The light in the bathroom would not turn off either. Will try find somewhere different on the next visit however.

Everyone at the hotel was extremely welcoming and friendly, whenever we needed anything they were always obliged to help. The rooms were also really nice and so modern it was great! The car park was a bit small but the gym was also great! All in all, it was great and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Canberra and I will definitely be staying here again! The only problem was there was very little reception in the hotel and car park.

Very nice and abstract design-oriented rooms with good views and advanced smart home technology. Facilities such as the gym are well equipped but could be in better condition. Bar and restaurant downstairs appear to be a nice place to dine and enjoy a drink or two.

Nice Hotel! Decor is very nice, customer service was good. Room was quite dirty though, dust everywhere, grubby hand prints all over the windows and doors, I don't understand the coffee machine with no milk or frother?! Also did not have any face washers. They provide a iPad which was disabled and could not even turn off so the light was shining all night. Beds are super comfy!!! Would stay here again.

What: A modern hotel close to Canberra's CBD. Why: New, well-appointed rooms, pretty central. Rooms better than I expected. Why not: $10 a day for parking even for paying guests nearly took this down to a 3 star (especially since Wilson Parking is $2 flat rate a day less than a block up the road). They've also inexplicably fitted those toilets with seats that don't actually cover the outer rim - meaning every time you sit down you're necessarily sitting on some urine splash.

We had the two-bedroom family unit which was supplied with microwave, fridge, washing machine and dryer. there was also a mini fridge and coffee machine. There was laundry detergent and liquid for the dishwasher supplied. love the smart controls that allow you to control everything including the curtains. Spacious and there was a balcony. Only thing is there is no bathtub

This was a very high-quality hotel. There were very high-tech lights, although the bathroom lights didn't work as well. There were a lot of bedrooms in the room. The TV was great and it was a very spacious room. It is in an OK location as the entry is on the the highway, but the exit to the carpark is on a local street parallel to the highway. The carpark spaces are a bit tight, but otherwise it is very convenient. This is a very good hotel and I highly recommend it to everyone else.

The rooms even the standard ones are very spacious with its own living area with large tv! Try to get a room with a balcony and appreciate the very fresh air! Very nice, modern rooms. Service is great. The pizza I had via room service for dinner tasted like I was eating the box it was delivered in the base was so tough. However breakfast in the restaurant was very nice. My aircon kept making a loud gurgling noise which was annoying.

Wow what an awesome experience! Paid about $210 all up for a king room including room service (a fantastic dinner and breakfast for two delivered to the room). The room was tidy and had lots of smart features. The rainfall shower was very nice. Took a little while to work out that the iPad controlled everything in the room (curtains, lighting, A/C) but it was pretty fun once we worked it out. Overall, very reasonably priced room, mini bar and room service (especially for canberra). Will be staying here again! Would love to try the apartment next time. Great view from the room too.

Amazing brand new hotel! Everything is modern and the rooms have smart home technology! All areas of the apartment have touch panels on the walls for the lights, aircon/heating and automated blinds! You are provided with a tablet which can control anything from every light in your apartment to ordering room service, booking breakfast, maintenance requests and much more! Beautiful hotel with nice furnishing, a generous balcony, and a fabulous breakfast buffet. Within walking distance to CBD. The lighting and mood lighting was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the toilet paper was thin and rough. Also, the air conditioning in the bedroom blows straight onto the bed and at your body/face. Without air conditioning, the bedroom gets very hot and stuffy.

An excellent new hotel with useful tech in all rooms including Master on/off switch for all lights next to the bed. Mood lighting options for when you don't want to have bright lights. The balcony on my ground floor apartment was very large complete with a double outdoor bed. Friendly staff that cater well for the regular traveller.

Big and spacious rooms, quiet location, clean bathrooms. The hotel is pretty modern. Every room comes with an iPad to control lights, open/close curtains, toggle the "do not distrurb sign" etc. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Location is a bit outside of the city central but the tram stops in front of the hotel.

Loved this hotel. Very central, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment the first night because we were upgraded and was a beautiful clean room. Hadn't planned to stay a second night but after calling and getting onto the very professional Milaylah, we were given another lovely room. Continental breakfast delivered to the room was great value and easy check in a checkout was seamless.

Amazing! We had a 1 year old and worked well for us. Great service and amenities. Loved the shower and water pressure. Awesome things included and high end appliances. Check their website out before booking through an agency. Food at the restaurant also ticked all the boxes. Will most likely return if we come back to Canberra :)

What a lucky discovery. My one bedroom at the Deco is so comfortable. So many quality touches like the firm chairs and couch, kitchen utensils, coffee, and fast internet. Most enjoyable hotel I've stayed in for a while and the opening prices are terrific.

Its OK. I do not regret ordering this to my room! They usually accept min $15 for room food ordering but when I rang up (as this dessert was only $13) they allowed it which thankful for. Parking is a bit tight so not so convenient for bigger cars. Breakfast - they have this deal where you can get open buffet breakfasts for $20 if you agree to breakfast the night before, otherwise it's $28. The open buffet is very average and only worth about $20. Generally speaking, not the best, but not a bad place to stay at all.

We had a fantastic stay at Deco. The rooms were spacious and luxurious with clear attention to detail in every aspect eg the make up mirror and provided hairdryer were lovely touches and the integration of the hotel services and in room automation via iPad was second to none. Awesome new hotel. It opened less than two months ago and still has the new smell. I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment and it was HUGE. The most high tech room I've ever seen - it has an ipad that controls all of the lights, curtains and tperatyre in the whole apartment. Really cool. The only downside is that there are no restaurants within walking distance. The only place to eat is in the hotel. I will DEFINITELY stay here if I'm in Canberra again.

Excellent apartment, use of latest technology which is absolutely amazing, nice and clean environment. Issues: Both Airconditions in the apartment can only be controlled through the provided ipad or switch board nothing handy, if you want cold in the room and hot in the lounge can’t be done, because both airconditions should either be on hot or cold temperature. Also Staff is very rude and impatient, although we had a less interaction with them but while checking in/out they need to treat guests politely and in a calm manner. No invoice on checkout, when asked they said it will be emailed but no email. Lit bit of modification within their team and system can lead this place to a 5 star hotel.

This is our second visit to the Deco Hotel and we honestly cannot fault them. The super modern conveniences are a wonderful novelty, the rooms are thoroughly equipped with everything you could want or need and the customer service is amazing.

Gorgeous Hotel.. Only cons are, terrible phone reception, can't take phone calls within the hotel walls. The internet the hotel offers works, though is very slow. Absolutely no phone reception or 4G reception while in the room, or downstairs. A little frustrating since the studio rooms are large in part set up for more business style visits.. A little counter inutive to build a fortress that blocks phone reception isn't it? Been difficult getting paper work done while staying here, quite frustrating actually. Everything else is Ace, just dont expect to get alot of work done that requires an internet connection.

Clean hotel, lovely and very friendly staff. Dinner was expensive $50pp for 2 course meal, but food itself was very nice. Rooms had everything you needed even a nespresso machine.
