M. C.Stayed 1 night there. Room was small but ok. Kettle supplied but no microwave or toaster. Iron and hair dryer supplied. Air conditioner kept turning off during the night which was annoying as room was very stuffy. The bed was comfy but the sheets smelt of white king/bleach which kept me awake all night. Cleaners need to wash sheets with less bleach. Had a guest 2 doors down constantly sitting on pavement outside his door smoking which was off putting and scary. Other than these negative points, not too bad.
K. E.Rooms spotless, caring kind staff who obviously accommodate different needs, and have High cleaning standards. Those cleaners work hard and so does reception and the garden is exquisite. Hidden away and nice. I highly recommend. I had a hiccup which was not my fault being rectified now but could face a hefty problem come Friday if my belongings are not returned and it's too late now. You can't keep someone's laptop with legal documents in it but they weren't to know. It's only one staff member rude through out my stay the rest of the staff would not have done this. Except this one. Hopefully it will be rectified. I've noticed with hotels there are one or two at each on a power trip thst don't know your history and hopeless with returning thing. This is a legal issue for me as I've not been able to send legal documents. if you are stressed and trying to meet a deadline. There needs to be a better hold and collect service. Some people do fall ill. I'm sure when I send an email one more time it will be rectified they are quite good with communication. Last time I stayed as private guest it was lovely and very nice bistro. No bistro due to covid and washing machines are too expensive at $9 not $7 if you want clothes dry. This adds an extra $40 per week with limited clothing to wash and dry. Lots of guests use it. There is a service near by but it's $5 more expensive so much of a muchness.

Not sure of what sort of show their running here, but the TV wouldn't work, the security is poor, fly screen on the window broken. Fire alarm sounded around 8pm.
The air-conditioning is located where the person in the top bunk would sleep.....odd spot....see photo.
Not to mention the noisy guests, doors banging, people yelling in hallways. Felt like I was back on a School trip or something similar. Prices did not reflect the type of stay had.
Having said this, if you don't mind all the above, then you'll be okay 👌.
Only plus would be the location (not so much the surrounding neighbourhood) to the main attractions and the hottest of hot water you've ever seen in the shower.

I'm giving 4 as staff were friendly and at price value you can't really complain.
Didn't sleep very comfortable as it was situated on a residential street on street level.

G. S.Friendly counter staff at check in got our stay off to the right start 👍. Our room was pretty spacious, with a Double bed, a single and single bunk beds. The place was generally clean, but the toilet bowl could have used a bit of extra attention. The carpet looks a little old and tired. The bathroom was acceptably clean, with a shower over bathtub that required a pretty high step to get in. The kids liked the bath, which we don't often get in a hotel room. The shower had an annoying habit of leaking through the bottom of the screen, causing a puddle on the floor, which we had to sop up with towels. Overall we were happy with the value for money and the service provided.

W. P. B.Rooms are clean, breakfast buffet was good and cheap with gluten free options. Friendly staff. Good off street parking. Quiet. Our advice is to make sure you book a room with opening windows. We had a room on the second floor which got very hot and there was no way to air it out without keeping the door wide open. This compromised our privacy as we had a room that faced down the walkway to other second floor rooms. I would probably stay here again as it was reasonably priced.
C. A.It’s alright for the money you pay, it’s certainly not luxury or deluxe. It was kept clean and tidy, no problems with that. The bathroom was average. It is good value, but is still a budget hotel and by no means fancy. It is not a Hilton, but it isn’t a $50 days inn motel. It’s in the middle.

Stayed 3 nights over 2 rooms. One lovely customer service experience and one below average experience. Rooms were spacious and clean. The room cleaning service was a bit of a lucky dip, for example... Sometimes they topped up coffee supplies, sometimes they didn't... One day I got a face washer, the other days I didn't... Not a huge problem. Overall a nice stay.

They could probably have thrown in a bottle of water or something to say sorry.

C.The reality is that i would have given a much better rating but... ibis only bought this run down place 9 months ago and bit by bit they are creating what we have all come to know and love about the ibis brand worldwide. The staff were truly Ibis and wonderful. The price reflects the older and tired condition of the rooms so get a bargain while you can. Looking forward to coming back to this Ibis Styles when i next visit this area. Did i mention the staff are wonderful?

Had the bistro breakfast one morning - was plentiful and reasonable, but if paying the $24 normal price may be better going to a cafe nearby. Can get it for $15 per person when checking in.

It was fitted with a fridge and a micro wave and the WiFi was good (though we were limited to 1GB free). Check out time was usually 10 but they let us stay until 11. We didn't eat anything from the restaurant, so can't comment on food. The location was a bit out of the way, but not too bad if you're driving (we did walk to IGA). Overall we were quite happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Our room was clean, tidy with fridge and electric kettle but there was no tea or coffee provided. The room was spacious with a double bed, a single bed, a bunk bed and small table with 4 chairs provided.

The hotel is located about 10 mins to the Parliament House, city centre and 15 mins drive to Canberra air port.
T. R.10 minutes by car out of town, nothing really of interest in walking range. Room was clean and comfortable enough. Decor a bit dated now. Breakfast was complimentary but rather mediocre. Only stayed here since everything else was booked out, wouldn't stay by choice.

L. B.Tall Trees Hotel was clean and comfortable, but a little dated. The gentleman with the beard who checked me in was very polite and helpful. It's a little bit out of the city centre of Canberra, but it's very peaceful and close enough if you have a car. Breakfast was a little limited, but you should find enough to start your day. The air con in the room worked well and it's nice to get Accor benefits when staying here. It's clean and comfortable, so if that's what you're looking for you should consider it.
T. M.Good location for the city, shops, attractions and my work all within a short drive. I was upgraded to the Executive room which was a lovely surprise, and a tasteful well appointed room. The staff were great and greeted us with smiles each morning. You get what you pay for.

M.Reasonable motel just outside the heart of Canberra. No bells and whistles, nothing fancy, but does the job for a decent price. The service at the front desk was rather abrupt though, friendly reception staff would be nice.
T. M.The motel was ok as we had stayed there a couple of times in the past and we knew what to expect. Chose Best Western Tall Trees for its close location to our customer site. I purchased breakfast in the dining room which was sensational value for money and the food was excellent.
T. M.The motel is a pretty safe area but you need to drive in as it is not in the main road. Get directions and a map from helpful office lady. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bathroom had grey pubic hair all over the floor. There is some noise from the room above if you get a ground floor room.
C. B.This hotel is hidden away in the quiet streets of Ainslie. Reasonably comfortable, although some rooms are quite small and a bit dated. Still the location is very quiet. Used to be a Best Western property but is now part of the Accor Hotel group.
T. M.The room was as spacious as you'd expect from a motel and all the conveniences were there. I was greatly relieved when Caitlin found me a much more suitable room. I think it is just the sheer size of the place and the noise the trolleys made at 6am that put me off.
i.My partner was served by a lovely lady whom after hearing about our distaster (at another location) was very kind and catered to our needs by moving us from an upstairs location to downstairs.
I was served by a lady called suzi at the reception who was just fantastic, I went to purchase washing powder which she gave me for free because I thought the dryer was $1 its $2 and didnt have enough cash on hand.
The room we got was awesome for what we paid. I will just note the bathroom was tiny but was a non issue for us.
M. M. 2.Tall Trees is a little hotel close to town. They have good services, good staff and especially good rooms. Its close to most landmarks and the town. The only thing is that food is pretty average and expensive. For a light breakfast its $48 and for 1 T Bone steak its $38 and its average. Everythig this else is great.

M. R.Loved this budget style hotel. It had all you needed in the room the staff was lovely. Very affordable prices. It was easy access to the room. Everything was clean the towels fresh the bed was very comfortable for me in my opinion. Had Aircon, towels, hairdryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash travellers size small, even had heat lighting in the bathroom, Iron and iron board, mini bar, free wi Fi, bar fridge, TV, plates, cuterly, cups, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and milk.
The cleaners were lovely we stayed for a week and they made the bed and replaced the towels and toiletries. Good cupboard space to hang clothes and a comfortable sofa to sit. The chair at the desk was a computer chair very comfy. Washing machine and dryer included in share laundry, but... at the time of stay their washing machine was getting service because it broke down the only down fall. I still gave it 5 stars because of the very friendly service and the cleaners looking after my room which was room 132 should be commended Lovely place to stay definitely would come back. Breakfast is included but you pay extra. Ample parking also
