Nice hotel, good restaurant/bar area with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room service food was great and the beds were comfortable.
Definitely seen a bit of wear and tear on the room walls though. We could also hear the adjacent room having a bit of a party and I assume they would have heard my baby.
Mask policy was not being adhered to at all by staff and guests.

Had a wonderful stay. The room was no doubt fantastic, but the true selling point is the staff. Everyone from reception, cleaning staff, restaurant staff, etc. was extremely kind and helpful. One of the best hotels in Australia!
S.
Comfy bed, friendly staff. To be honest I wouldn’t consider this a 4.5 stars hotel. It needs some improvements (furniture and bathroom). Room was clean and the pool was ok. We dined at the restaurant because that night was pouring, food was average and a bit overpriced.
R. H.
The food was okay, drinks were reasonably priced. We had a table of 8 that all ordered at the same time. 3 meals came out, then 20 minutes later the other 5 meals ... Otherwise good for a simple dinner

We enjoyed our stay. We had a queen room. It was spotless on arrival, had everything we needed.
It doesn't come with bells and whistles but not needed for a quick stop over.
We didn't get to try the bar or food due to lack of time but the area was breathtaking and very inviting. We will definitely be back with more time to enjoy the extras this place has to offer. The indoor tropical areas are stunning.
T. M.
Reasonable room price is an advantage.
the bar, environment and food service is pretty good as well

There was a minor issue and misunderstanding as new reception staff were still being trained. Reception manager was nice, efficient and helpful at rectifying it.
A. A. N.
Nice facilities are provided. I enjoyed my stay with them. And beautiful buffet breakfast 🍳
K. L.
Great food and service.
Drinks were very expensive and the plates were cleared up too quickly at the buffet area if you wanted to go back for seconds.
A. H.
Good hotel. Nice food and wine. Roomy rooms and free secure parking
P. L.
Nothing updated very different where you stay and where you live..needs improving or add more to there menu..
R. H.
Good food. The main room had stacked chairs along the front etc and was kinda bare.
M. R.
Firstly the staff and atmosphere of the hotel is great. And the prices are great for what service you get. But the rooms are a bit lacking, some of the windows don't lock and it looks like they took some shortcuts at some items like paint repair or the tv. But by comparison to other hotels at this price the atmosphere and staff easily make it 5 stars, its just the rooms...

We had stayed 3 nights there. It is a very nice place. It is not a new place but Room was spotless clean. This place is different from the normal.I am There is a grande garden in the middle of the building, very lovely. It gives me a calm feeling when I go there.
I would like to mention that breakfast. Good selection of fresh and cooked food. Fresh baked danishes are super delicious. Let the staff know how you prefer the egg cooked. Italian style coffees are not included in the price, the rest of the breakfast drinks are included. $20 per person if you let reception know before 11pm the night before. It's worth.
D. N.
The breakfast buffet is very nice, unfortunately it won’t come with barista coffee, only pre made coffee
L. S.
Our first room had a leaking sink and pretty cramped accommodation. Moved to a different room but weird smoke smell through the night. Needs some upgrading as looking tierd in places comfortable beds however
j.
Good sized room but the bathroom was a bit rundown. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great in the retro 60s vibe atrium making us feel like we were in Hawaii. Great value for the price we paid. Would return!
C. A.
Good hotel with free parking however no AC or individual room controls.
T. W.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very spacious. Even the windows opened! We did find that the king size bed, though roomy enough, was much too soft for our comfort. We suspect that it had a latex topper as it was also too warm to be comfortable until the early hours of the morning, even with the aircon temperature reduced. Breakfast was adequate but we only indulged on one morning and then enjoyed our own fruit & cereal for the remainder of our stay.
Proximity to “China town” was good. Plenty of food options (not all Asian) & Asian grocers.
N. C.
Cheap and cheerful I would say. No way this hotel is 4.5 stars though! Decor and rooms like something out of the 1970s, although the bar area has some charm to it and the buffet breakfast is solid. Check out this thermostat though!
J. L.
Not as nice as advertised, room was average but service and staff was good.
The general complex is run down and has definitely seen better days. Building floors are filthy, floor skirting boards and furnishings are heavy worn and dirty. There's a water fountain sitting there with stagnant water that has been sitting there quite some time.
The rooms are old and just don't make a great deal of sense. The showers have vents and grates everywhere but none of them cycle air out of the bathroom. Cigarette burns on the window shades. Double beds are singles pushed together which is relatively typical of a cheap motel but there is a metal bar that separates the beds that protrudes out and obviously becomes very painful. There is no way of controlling the temperature of the room, short of opening and closing the one window in the room.
The rooms are okay and relatively clean. Definitely not at the four star standards.

This hotel was perfect for our winter wedding with a climate controlled indoor space that still felt like an outdoor space. Special thanks to Nicole from the Pavilion in making sure everything went perfectly. Our families enjoyed their stay.
M.
We have stayed at the Pavillion a number of times and have never been disappointed. Value for money would sum it up. The staff are always helpful and cheerful. Close to the city centre and free parking which is very rare for the location.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, some a little dated, however the price is always very competitive.
A. D.
Very professional staff. Excellently appointed hotel room and facilities. Free parking, Gorgeous lobby and bar, late night swimming pool and close to the best restaurant hub. All this for around $100 a night.
The bathrooms are quite outdated and a few things need to be addressed here (This makes them 3 stars at best). The only lacking feature unfortunately.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there for the first time and will be back to stay in the near future.
B. M.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite which had a roomy bedroom with large double bed, spacious bathroom and a large living area. The suite was spotless and everything looked relatively new and in great condition. The room was very quiet both from traffic and the adjoining rooms.
The reception staff were friendly and efficient as were the personnel in the buffet breakfast/dining room. The buffet breakfast was good value at $20 (if pre-booked the day before).
Another selling point is the fee parking and free internet.
The Dickson shopping centre is a short drive from the hotel and has many restaurants that cater for most preferences. Also the city restaurants are are only about 10-15 mins drive away.
Will definitely stay here again when in Canberra.

Spent the October long weekend at the Pavilion and was delighted with the hotel. The spacious room had a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff where all friendly and very helpful, and the food was fantastic. Well located with the light rail stop out the front, and good parking facilities. Looking forward to staying there again.

Good place clean and comfortable bed nice breakfast
B. H.
Nice clean and neat room. Provided two single beds for the room on short notice. Front counter staff friendly and gave us a good deal for late booking when we decided to stay a second night despite hotel being almost full. Close to the "CBD", can easily ride one of those electric scooters in and out.
a. r.
Was a nice hotel staff were friendly had a good night there.
T. C.
We had our company Christmas party here. It was pretty good actually, room was a good size, they had a PA, the food was above what you'd expect, and the service manager for the venue was excellent. He was like a ninja making sure everything went well but you didn't notice him.
N. F.
Stayed for a night. Allocated a ground floor room facing the atrium. Window glasses are thin so expect to noise pollution from the car park. Nice garden landscape you might enjoy while having meals or drinks but no heater when is chilly. Please take note there’s no bottled water provided in the room except kettle, tea and coffee with creamer and sugar. No hair dryer as well. Bed linens, pillows and mattress were comfortable and of quality.
t.
Great location, parking included (outdoor but behind locked gates). Lovely individually cooked breakfasts (thank you Covid-19 - not).Yes, the rooms could possibly do with some touchups (some wear spots on carpet, a couple of cracked but well-repaired tiles in bathroom) but an excellent quiet location on the main road into Civic that I would gladly stay at again. A welcome surprise was the $10 rebate on food/drinks for each night you chose not to get your room serviced - but one voucher /service though.
B. L.
Great location, pretty lounge area for very reasonable price. Unfortunately the bed was quite hard making sleep pretty bad. Breakfast buffet was okay but is no longer self serve die to covid (just an FYI)
C. H.
It's my 5th stay there and it certainly won't be my last. Enough said. Great value for money and terrific staff.
Grab rails in the shower bath would be a great help for me aging hips and knees
T. B.
Best place to stay, highly recommend! The staff are so lovely and super accommodating. I’m staying here with my mother for a few days while recovering after being in hospital. The reception knew this and gave us a very comfortable room and made sure we had a room ready if we needed it before the check in time.
The atrium is full of plants and a beautiful place to have a drink or dinner. Breakfast and room service were delicious also. Definitely going to be my go to accomodation whenever I’m in Canberra. Very impressed and happy with my stay.
M. O.
Great price! Fast check in & out. The room was very nice. Restaurant and bar area was so chilled and relaxing. Had a delicious dinner & buffet breakfast. The hotel is a little dated but everything else makes up for it. Can’t wait to come back and stay.
C. E.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, bedding and a huuuuge shower. Has to be the prettiest atrium in a hotel I have ever seen. Serene with waterfalls and goldfish and fountains, lots of greenery. Beautiful space and place.
D. L.
Good rooms and restaurant. Right next to the trams on Northbourne Avenue. Very interesting to see that some rooms are at the same level as the reception and no walls separate the reception and the rooms. The atrium does do that job well though. My wish is for more power outlets, a less squeakier single bed and for the alarm clock to set at the right time (off by 5 minutes!).
G. K.
not bad for a budget stay. The hotel has two building , one is newly renovated and the other is kinda old. We stayed the old one, the renovation is overdue especially the bathroom. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We needed a night stopover in Canberra. The buffet breakfast is pretty good
J. A.
I have stayed at the Pavilion on Northbourne 4 times in the last 2 months and it is amazing. The whole staff are excellent from the front desk to the bar and restaurant staff and the cleaners. Not forgetting the chefs. Excellent food. 10 out of 10.
On my previous visit I left something behind in my room and it was taken to the front desk by the cleaners. I picked it up this visit. That was impressive. Thanks again for that. It was an expensive item.
A. J.
Great value for money. The decor of the rooms is basic but they are clean. The staff were obliging and the pool area is nice. Buffet breakfast was yummy, they even had smoked salmon and avocado as options. There was free parking and there is a tram stop across the road. Easy walking distance to some yummy restaurants off Northboune.
B. P.
Amazing place, we always try to.stay there whilst in canberra
J. K.
Pretty good and such a good price. We were close to the function and off the main strip. The room was decent, clean and comfortable. Will stay again if i return.
D. M.
We had a goodroom, with a very comfy bed. So of course , we slept well. Complimementary parking behind secure gates made things very easy. The staff was easy to get on with, always available and friendly. The menu and dining times were a little more restricted than usual, but that goes with the covid-19 restrictions at the moment. Absolutely adored th e ambience of the atrium garden and the fact that the planting was carried on around the stairs and the floor balconies, p,us, the plantings are real. We are goingback soon.
R. H.
Always stay here when I visit Canberra. Love it.
H. W.
Drinks are fine. Bar area for parties are a bit weird. Too open and not enough seating. I personally don't like having dinner and lunch as food brought around on trays. I never seem to get very much food and i don't feel I get value for money. I would rather just pay for a meal and dessert. Toilets are nice and staff are nice. Don't think there is any where to really park, not sure. But can drop off and pick people up.
J. T.
Was here on a business trip and would definitely stay again. Excellent customer service. Room was spacious with a good size bathroom, and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Buffet at the Atrium was of good quality and value, and plenty of options for vegetarians. Conveniently located, 10min drive to Civic and 3min drive / 15 min walk to Dickson where all the good restaurants are. Would be great if complimentary toothbrush and paste were provided (they charge $1).
M. T.
Rooms and especially the bathrooms are a little dated but clean and comfy. The breakfast is sensational. We'll worth $20. Buffet of a huge selection from eggs to smoked salmon. Great coffee and surroundings. Will go to again.
F. R.
Very nice accommodation, good service, good food. The only minor annoyance is the room keycards which repeatedly fail requiring frequent replacement. Otherwise an excellent establishment.
N. B.
Very friendly staff, at the desk and in the bar/restaurant. It has a real retro vibe in the lobby and restaurant with all the greenery which is very well maintained and I love it.
Rooms are value for money with big tv’s if you’re into watching movies.
Breakfast is excellent and worth it as it’s a small trip to the centre of the city if you’re eating out. My rating is missing a star only because coffee is a help yourself machine rather than barista made.
Will definitely stay again!
G. R.
Pretty relaxed and group friendly venue. Rooms and a little brown but very comfortable. Air-conditioning works ok but cannot be turned off - having windows that open help though. Beds are very comfortable and the apartments have a good kitchen although without a dishwasher. Staff are friendly and helpful.
C. W.
We had a great time here. All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us out on the New Year's Eve we stayed. The room we stayed in was a little warm, but seeing as outside was high 30s, it's understandable. The food from the bar was great, and the rainforest atrium was a pleasant environment to eat in. The room was a little tired looking and could probably do with a spruce up, but the price was good.
R. H.
The hotel reminds me of a grand yesteryear with little of the modern comforts. The beautiful atrium is welcoming and perhaps sets the guests' expectation higher than what the hotel can offer. We were offered a fan in a hot day when the air con gave out tiny amount of cool air softer than a sleeping infant's breath. Though hard to complain when the price point is that of a country motel.
J. M.
An absolutely beautiful place, large centre with an atrium that houses a lot of greenery. The facilities were very nice and we were greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff. The room was large and bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and had a large shower. Overall the hotel was very nice. One thing that we found out the hard way was how thin the walls were, there was a definite party of two in the room next to us that we felt as if we had a front seat to. Needless to say our experience was somewhat tainted by the lack of sleep as a result of our two noisy neighbours, perhaps ear plugs will be the go next time we stay here. Thanks for a great experience.
H. K.
I liked the room, it is good for two people.
I had no complaint during my visit.
Buffet breakfast was great, also they have good choice of food.
Clean rooms, housekeeping was great.
And the plants inside the hotel makes it look great
a. g.
Very interesting design building, with room entry area covered by a big top with garden and restaurant under the big top. Could do with a few upgrades in the rooms, starting to show its age, very comfortable bed, fantastic water pressure in shower, heating was not at its best comfortable but not warm. Room service needs improvement but food was lovely.
M. B.
First the good. The food was excellent. Tried the rack of lamb and rump steak in the restaurant, couldn't fault the quality or staff. Breakfast was good value at $20. Cleanliness of the hotel was very good, spotless. Now the 'needs improvement'. The room, called a suite, was located across a walkway in a second building. This building was filled with plants, quite lovely but somehow the lighting made it feel sterile and lacking warmth. The room lacked warmth as well It was large, but the bed was as hard as a rock. The couch was even harder and super uncomfortable. It's like all comforts had been stripped out. No microwave, plates or for that matter sink in the mini kitchenette. The bathroom was spotless, but the liquid soap dispenser was a dark green slime, as was the shower gel and the all in one shampoo/conditioner dispensers. I didn't even think shampoo and conditioner could be purchased like that or maybe they blend their own? All in all, for the sake of some scatter cushions, decent toiletries and a soft bed this hotel would have been great.
S. N.
Really nice hotel, generous sized bedroom. The hotel is beautiful especially the outdoor seating. The free shuttle service van to city is excellent too very polite and kind driver willing to drop each passenger to chosen destination. Highly recommended.
F. D.
Amazing stay. Staff were lovely, parking was easy and secure. Room was nice, comfy beds and the forest room is amazing. Favorite part of the stay. Breakfast was added for $20, they had everything i could think of and the food was delicious. 100% would stay again!!!
J. 8.
I'll start off by saying that the staff here are fabulous. Very friendly and cater for your requests. Kitchen food and staff were lovely. Booked the spa suite and was pretty basic. Lighting in rooms felt clinical and there needs to be a lamp in lounge area. Rooms felt unloved and need updating. This was not due to the cleaners but more so dodgey paintwork in the bathroom and no exhaust fan, old catpets etc. It was so hot that I didn't sleep very well. Front desk assured me the air con was working but it might take a while to cool down. Not much air coming from vents at all. Will be looking for a hotel with proper air con units next time I visit Canberra so I will not be staying here again. Pool was okay but overdue for a clean.
J. H.
Firstly, Loved the delicious food that this place had to offer its very mouth watering just by thinking about it. The price of the food was very cheap for its quality.
I was get disappointed with the room we stayed in, as we walked inside the room there’s lots of stain on the carpet it seems hasn’t been steamed for years. The bed was very uncomfortable it’s a few years overdue for replacement. It’s a good size room and nice layout but it’s due for refurbishment.
J. S.
We had a great time here. It was great for the money we paid. Hotel clean. Staff polite, professional and friendly. Bar area has beautiful atrium. Good gym and nice outdoor pool. Bedroom was nice. Bathroom basic but clean. Food very nice. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay here again
S. C.
Very well priced for what you get. Friendly and courteous staff and provided exceptional customer service. Another customer fell and hurt their head while we were there and staff jumped into amazing action showing major concern and responding with appropriate first aid until an ambulance could arrive.
Air conditioning in the room was working but could not cool the room adequately - additional fans had to be brought in to do the job. There was no toaster available in the room (for those who like to prep their own breakfast), and breakfast is somewhat limited to a buffet with no option for breakfast a la carte, which makes for an impracticle cost if you're only after a very light breakfast (say toast and a coffee).
The a la carte meals that are available after breakfast are wonderful and suitably priced.
Over all a very good experience and would definitely stay again.
s. g.
Lobby was very green and lively, even late at night. Rooms are average, not great. The restaurant was good and cozy. Breakfast was ordinary. But the chef in the kitchen served delicious & tender chicken wings on request
M. O.
Good value rates nice rooms.
T. M.
I have stayed here a few times, great feeling to the place, lovely the foliage in the centre of the venue. The room was clean and all amenities were catered for. I really liked the thermostat controlled room temperature instead of cheap single air conditioners. Nice and clean with great staff. The buffet breakfast was very nice.
H. P.
Excellent place to stay!! Finally found a great hotel in Canberra 🙌🏼. The staff were excellent! The food was great, they looked after everything, everyone was friendly and actually seemed to do there jobs. The room was clean, not the flashiest hotels, but everything was nice. Probably due to upgrade to HD TVs. Comfortable beds, also maybe more tea options in the room. Big secure car park.
Will be back
S. K.
Very good value for money. Free parking. Great buffet breakfast for $20. Comfortable smallish rooms, small bathroom but really comfy king size bed. Good location.
T. “. t. h. g.
What an amazing gem. The pavilion's rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is 24 hour room service. The indoor outdoor bar looks beautiful and has a decent selection and welcoming staff. Not the mention the food and bar is right outside your door (if you are an early sleeper it shuts at 10 so don't panic). All in all a great hotel and my choice for Canberra.
Q. R.
Has a good bar & restaurant with excellent heating to keep you warm over winter in the main building. If your staying here then I suggest asking for room facing away from Northbourne Avenue as it is very noisy & the windows are thin glass thus not deadening much outside noise.
The second building, where we stayed, has nicely heated rooms, however, the atrium part isn't heated like the main building.
M. H.
Delicious food. Not cheap. Could have been better heated with cement tiled floors. Friendly service.
N. B.
We have stayed here on 2 separate occasions and have found it good value for money. Very clean with super comfy beds. Great location for all things Canberra!
T. D.
My 5 stars are for customer service. I've had 4 interactions with different staff on my stay already and each person has been super friendly. My only feedback, which is very 'first world problem', is that they supply a combined shampoo and conditioner, so if you want soft hair, best bring your own conditioner.
E. L.
We stayed in the spa suite, the room has lots of space for the two of us. The building is slightly dated but the indoor plants are a nice touch. We also had breakfast buffet, it has the Aussie standard breakfast like bacon, eggs, toast, muesli, etc. Breakfast was adequate. Overall it was a positive stay.
J. S.
Had a wonderful stay - excellent value for money. The staff were so accommodating and professional without being over the top. Restaurant and bar staff were so courteous too, and the food was delicious. Room was good, very comfortable and clean. I will definitely stay there again and i would recommend to anyone.
C.
Excellent place to stay - twice now for me. The staff, everywhere, were super friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely clean and everything worked perfectly. The buffet breakfast is excellent value with lots of choices from full-cooked to fruit, yoghurt, cold meats. Free and very secure parking is a big contrast to many other Canberra establishments - always check the fine-print of the others before comparing the total package. The building has a very interesting and unusual layout, with a huge,
tented atrium full of palms, ferns and vines - fabulous.
A.
The staff at this hotel are some of the best I've met. They go above & beyond. Buffet breakfast is another highlight. The rooms are fairly average for a hotel at this price point and age. Also surprisingly, the pizza in room service was killer. I was expecting a fairly average meal. In the centre of the hotel area is a Forest-Lake set up. I use it to get some work done on my laptop but it's also an ideal setting for an informal meeting . Will be back.
K. S.
Larry, faheena & the American gentleman on the front desk over the weekend just gone were friendly cheery and helpful. Great food and coffee. Really comfortable bed and very clean. Our room next to main rd and couldn't hear a thing and curtains block out all light. Really enjoyed staying there. Recommend to anyone
D. M.
The hotel has do much potential. However have asked for loungeroom light to be fixed several times and as of yet 3 days later still not done. There was no teatowel when we arrived. There is no scourer or brush to clean baked on food from oven. There are no clothes cupboards in the bedrooms and for us is difficult to share as we are not one family yet there is plenty of space for them in the rooms. The staff are pleasant and the atrium atmosphere is very nice.
m. y.
The actual stay was fine. Bed was comfortable and room clean etc however, the $100 deposit is a joke! Nearly a week later and I still don’t have my money back!!!
Because we stayed 2 nights and made 2 seperate bookings, we are waiting for $200 refund 😡
O. F.
The room was good except for a very loud bar fridge. Breakfast made-to-order items were badly cooked and not worth getting. Would not recommend having breakfast at the hotel. Overall vibe was good with lots of green plants everywhere and well maintained.
L. V.
Outstanding Christmas lunch & staff were Awesome 👌
M. S.
Good location, easy parking. Housekeeping are a bit slack, there was an old tray of food outside our room for 2 nights.
A. G.
The place is perfectly clean, but showing its age. TV'S etc are old and small and badly positioned. Lighting needs improving inside and out
r. j.
Very clean and comfortable.
Staff wonderful.
Great breakfast
Will stay again.
K. T.
Rooms were a little old school but all in all its a beautiful place to stay and the staff are super nice and helpful. Coffee was NOT the best though.
T. O.
We had an event at the Pavilion and Lea at the Atrium bar was amazing! She was so kind and helpful and cool under pressure. A real commendation to Lea and your team!!
M. F.
My wife and I visited visited the restaurant for the buffet breakfast. There is a lush indoor garden with various tropical trees and shrubs.
The staff were attentive. There was a variety of cooked foods, fruit, breads and pastries. We felt it was good value for money.
M. “. J. S.
Was there for a wedding Reception.
Friendly and fast staff who're accommodating and helpful.
Food came quickly and to a very high quality. The flavour combinations worked fabulously well.
The venue itself is very clean and we'll put together. I noticed no loose ends (eg: blown lights or ratty chairs) and the tableware was clean and we'll presented.
Would definitly attend another reception there.
S.
Lovely room - upgraded to suite. Very comfortable and spacious. Amazing living indoor garden and bar area. Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Loads of space. Would recommend and will stay again.
H. W.
Amazing services and awesome breakfast buffet
R. S.
I would love to give this place a 5 star rating but the room was a bit average .The foyer and internal gardens are absolutely beautiful. But our room was very scares of furniture .It was advertised as having a ensuite bathroom, well thats all it had which made 4 people trying to get ready for a wedding a bit awkward. The carpet was very stained and marked .And we had a two seater lounge and a one seater chair for four people to sit and relax in .The bathroom needs more towel hanging even some hooks on the back of the door .Again for four people to hang up their towels you have to hang them over the toilet....not good. The beds were comfortable and all the linen was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However the food was not up to scratch .We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and that was very average for a restaurant. We also had breakfast on our first morning which the buffet was great as far as choice went but all the hot food was very cold. I hope this helps to bring your motel up to a 5 star venue. Which Im sure you can achieve.
A. L.
Room was tidy, and well furnished, although some unfortunate issues with the air conditioning prevented it from being perfect.
Great dinner options are provided on the ground floor, with the option for room service which was great. Additionally there is a buffet breakfast available for a discounted price to guests, which was definitely worth the money.
T. M.
As usual the staff at this hotel are great. The buffet breakfast was the usual selection of hot and cold dishes. Good pressure but brace yourself when you step out, as you will be standing in a mini wind tunnel from the (brown) vent blowing chilly air under the door and sucking the warmth out of you.
J. B.
Our go to Hotel when we stay in Canberra. It is close to everything that we want to visit and the new tram is great. There is a fantastic food district nearby and everything else is just a quick drive down northbourne. There restaurant and bar are nice and relaxing with enough variety that you don't need to go elsewhere. Noise has never been an issue, the only thing and this is an issue with most hotels is there are not enough power points, we live in a digital age, we need to charge devices.
J. D.
Very helpful friendly staff, especially the bar man who went beyond with my non-alcoholic beverage😊. The room was clean, neat and comfortable.
J. W.
It's like a step back in time to the 60-70's disco era.
First things first:
Bed & pillows are good
Shower is ducking amazing! -and large enough to fit a boat load of refugees in, I've not had a shower like that since i lived less than 1000m from a water reservoir.
Rooms were clean albeit dated by a good 40-50 years.
Staff were ok, nothing to write home about. The guys that brought ice up to my room (three consecutive nights) were all friendly and prompt.
Restaurant stops taking orders at 930, bar closes at 10. Breakfast was cold and well below average, as was the price at $20 when pre booked.
The whole place is quite run down, gardens are dead, paths through the car park are non existent.
Room cards failed multiple times, and at the worst possible times. FOBs PEOPLE!!!! get with the times. I had to swipe up to 10 times to get into my room. I went through 5-7 room cards in 3 nights due to failures.
Secure(ish) parking was a plus.
It's not bad, but it's far from amazing. I'd say it's a step down from a Best Western, but cleaner.
m. s.
Great hotel with very good price on last minute.com. staff friendly and helpful. Felt sorry for them under Covid restrictions. Not many guests.
A. W.
Interesting hotel layout with large atrium (tent really) surrounded by rooms. All quite aesthetic but some noise inevitably filters into the rooms. No problems unless you are the type that needs absolute silence. Rooms are tidy and fresh. Nothing exceptional but certainly adequate. Free WiFi abysmally slow my only complaint.
S. M.
Room was well heated and comfortable. Security staff kindly let us know that we had left the window open on our car. They hung a towel over it as it was raining.
C. B.
Very happy with my stay at the Pavillion. This hotel has nice rooms and great staff. A large indoor restaurant and Bar is also very useful and saves you venturing out for dinner. Was also very happy to find that a dental kit was available at reception when I realised late at night I'd forgotten my toothbrush! On site pool and gym is a nice bonus as well.
B. O.
Pavilion On Northbourne is a tired old hotel. The general noise travels quite easily room to room, making it quite a noisy hotel with out much going on. Fresh coats of paint don't really hide it's age very well. The bathroom is very small. The atrium is large and attractive, but really it's a basic bar and restaurant. The staff however are fantastic. They're friendly and helpful.
A. J.
Nice place. Great location. They upgraded my room - it was nice. The hotel itself seems slightly old but the room was quite large.
They sent burnt chicken wings when I requested for some to the room. That was a disappointment
C. O.
Fantastic hotel with great spacious rooms and helpful staff. Check in is easy and there's plenty of amenities around. The building is beautiful and the atriums add a great atmosphere. The food is also very good with plenty of options.
T. C.
Beautiful interior but the standard rooms dont scream quality. A few missed details like holes in my towel and the squeeze bottle soap holders cheapened the experience. Inside the centre of the hotel is a beautiful with plenty of beautiful greenery.
R. R.
Excellent food. The lamb cutlets were cooked absolutely perfectly. Losing one star for counter service, but I think they did table service before COVID
W. C.
Looks old, 90s style, but still quite nice. The room we had, had a bar bathroom light, took a while to turn on, also the bedside lamps were a cold white, which feels weird in bed. The 1 bedroom suite was very quite spacious.
J. C.
I only came here to use the function room however the interior is nicely decorated and the staff seem friendly and professional so I can only assume the rooms are well serviced too, plus they have a pool.
They also offer bikes to ride around on and explore the area for a very decent price which is something different compared to other hotels.
A. J.
The suite was a little dated but it faced onto an amazing large round atrium that was filled with plants. I can highly recommend the buffet breakfast. If you can get a room deal then the hotel offers good value for money.
E. A.
Fairly priced. Stayed for a weekend event. Didn’t realise how far out of town if was but that’s not the Hotels fault. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. The place was nicely decorated, parking was secure and the rooms were well presented - although the bed was pretty rough
S. R.
Great for a budget stay..value for money!! Bathrooms are abit small decor needs updating but for the money you pay what do you expect. Overall would stay again.
M. G.
We got a great deal on a large one bedroom apartment with a spa bath. The internal jungle of plants is a little strange, but I like it. Very different for Canberra. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Easy 10 minutes downtown. Seemed very quiet. Can’t help but think that the light rail construction right outside the front door is putting off visitors.

Incredible hotel. Im American I stayed here when first coming to Australia to meet my In laws. My stay was 7-10 days in the beginning of August 2015. Great staff, clean rooms, amazing atmosphere, good food and drinks. This set the tone for my entire trip to Australia and it took my breath away, so amazing. :)
T. M.
The entry foyer area was very pleasant with ***y plants and large shrubs. The room was quite large for the age of the place and had a a king size and single bed. My room had a single and double bed and was very comfortable. The Pavilion represents excellent value for the money charged.
R. H.
Great and friendly staff, patient with us till we sorted out our credit card, up graded my daughter and granddaughters room after they found out that my daughter had flown down to bring my granddaughter home from Burmagiue to get her away from the fires. A big thank you. Well done.
J. B.
Room clean and lots of space. The AC sucked though, couldn't adjust the temp and it barely made any difference leading to a poor sleep in this warm and humid night. Secure parking for free was great though.
G. N.
The Pavilion on Northbourne is an amazing property. Close to the city centre, with a stop on the nearly completed light rail nearby. The pavilion structure houses the Atrium, a soaring space that covers several levels. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the beds are large and very comfortable, and breakfast is very filling. One criticism is that some of the carpets were a little threadbare. Having paid a hefty tarrif it was a little surprising to see this.
R. T.
Very very pleasant stay in this motel - clean well set out, and the staff were pleasant....great shower in my room (not little needles)..... I also recommend the Restaurant and Bar menu in the Atrium. Had a great couple of days...
M. D.
They had a great deal on room prices. It was a wonderful stay in nicely appointed rooms.
We ate in their restaurant and they were very helpful in arranging dishes I could eat with my food issues. Good caring and friendly.
S. K.
Had a nice stay. I like how all the foliage in the lobby & bar area makes you feel like you're in a rainforest. Staff were friendly and warm. The room was great for the price; only downside is the bed was two singles pushed together causing an uncomfortable seam.
T. M.
Lovely staff and a very chatty ***ager who was very good to me and my colleague. The gated security required a call to reception for entry because the room key does not work. Very little noise from passing traffic. Beautiful large 'Suite' room. Walking distance to Braddon and Dickson eateries.
B. H.
I can't fault this place. Friendly staff, great service and good meals. The hotel atrium is filled with huge palms and other plants and is a great place to hangout. The light rail stop is only metres away.
P.
Average experience; rooms are good sized but expect it as it's so far from the centre. From outside quite old looking but rooms are decent. However shower is very finicky, slight movements left or right gives scalding water or very cold water. Wash basin tap sprays water everywhere. Bedside lamp has a cold fluroscent light which should be changed to a warmer tone. No complementary water either. Would rather stay closer to city in a smaller modern room.
P. G.
Rooms a bit dated and small. Shower kept running to cold water. Basic accommodation, tv too small.
Good location, entry is vey nice and lots of plants. Beds comfortable
R. B.
This is a review about the hotel and specifically the Atrium part as per attached pic. Sure it could be perceived as a little outdated, but none the less, i liked our stay there. Loved the the actual atrium in the foyer, something you don’t see at every hotel you stay at. Staff were friendly and helpful, thank you Nikhill for your assistance on using public transport to get to Floriade. The hotel is also very close to the tram line which will take you into the CBD and it’s reasonably priced, i would stay there again!
i. p.
All good. Nice, clean and warm rooms, lovely meals, close to centre, easy access.
T. M.
Location good although on busy road. There are a number of dining and bar areas in the jungle surroundings, and it is easy to find a nice area to sit and enjoy a beverage. Breakfast is served in the Café with a good selection of cereal, toast, cooked breakfast etc. Majority of staff good.
S. K.
Rooms a bit tired but the atrium bar has a great feel. Not great being a 6ft bloke and having you hair approaching the ceiling in the bath/shower.
K. J.
Good location, priced well. Very nice looking lobby / interior area
Restaurant / Cafe food is also okay
G. S.
Stunning Hotel really close to everything, but far enough to provide a retreat. The interior design is stunning and service absolutely wonderful. This is a perfect place to have a relaxing break.
A. R.
The whole experience was great. Venue is fantastic. Trees inside the arboretum were stunning. Room was clean and spacious. Food was good. Location is easy to access by car. Staff were friendly. On the whole an excellent experience.
M. G.
Rooms are comfortable enough but are badly in need of an update. Shower head leaked everywhere and drain in the middle of the bathroom overflowed! TV reception was poor. Also been a while since I saw a CRT TV! Kitchen was quite serviceable though.
J. H.
Very good indeed, quiet and comfortable, good parking, good b'fast and dinner, liked it.
J. P.
Pavilion on Northbourne's Deluxe Room (cheapest room @ $101.15) was an nice, affordable, value for money stay for an overnight business trip. The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 with a heater that kept the room warm in -3°C nights. The atrium in the middle of the hotel is beautiful and has a relaxing atmosphere. The only complaint I would have is that the noise of the water pipes could be heard through the walls from other customers in other rooms. There is gate secured outdoor parking and friendly staff to help you at reception. Checking in and out was a breeze, just park the car at the front of the hotel, pop in, get your room key and use that to open the hotel carpark gates. Location is close to a main road with only moderate traffic in peak hour (compared to Sydney LOL) and close to so many vegan restaurants! I'd stay here again unless a competitor has a better price :)
R. M.
It was really just OK. The rooms are really looking like they are in need of an update. The bar down in the covered courtyard can get a bit noisey. I did like having washing machines and dryers and parking was secure. Breakfasts were pretty good.
S. S.
I was charged 100$ on my credit card for incidental deposit, at the time of checkout they told me that the amount of 100$ will be available in my account within 5 days , after 8 days when I called the bank they told me the amount was authorized by the hotel. I called the hotel and the reception told me they are going to send the fax to the bank to release the amount. I would request all visitors to keep check on their account.
Hotel in nice, neat and clean. I didn't find any problem in parking.
S. H.
Nice accommodation, small cosy room, good bath and hot water, desk service polite and personable. Breakfast bar ok but not a standout. Hotel layout and design is novel and interesting.
S.
Rooms are ok with very good beds and decent TV's. Not very sound proof unfortunately. And the $100 bond is an outdated method and takes way too long to be released from your account after check out. I understand it's on the banks end that it doesn't come back to your account very fast but having to pay the bond to begin with is the problem.
A. N.
Here for a seminar only - food and service were good. Venue is nice and the lobby is unique - looks like a great venue for a 'catch up drink' with friends. Is starting to look a little old particularly where the seminar was. Complimentary parking was nice and very close to Canberra CBD. I'd come back again.
N. B.
Outside lobby and parking was very nice but the rooms could use some renovations. And the staff at restaurant and bar was very nice and food came out quite tasty.
G. G.
Hotel is very pretty. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel resturant is reasonably priced and the food is tasty. My room is on the ground floor which makes it quite noisy when people in the rooms above have a shower.
T. M.
The room was immediately adjacent to the Atrium dining area and close to the door to the rear car park. Unfortunately the next room did not have that noise but the pipes from all the surrounding rooms were very loud. The rooms themselves were adequete but not quite worth what we paid.
M. M. S.
I was visiting people staying there in the apartments section. The forest room is a great entry way into a nice apartment. Plenty of room inside the apartment to host guests. The rest of the hotel looks professional. Access is probably the biggest issue from Northbourne as you can't access it going Northbound.
J. C.
The designers of this hotel love the colour brown. Everything is brown. Everything. If you are allergic to brown, you really don't want to be in this hotel. The walls are concrete, spray-painted brown. The brown carpets in our room were a little stained. It's the type of hotel which has large, screwed-down squeezy bottles of shampoo, rather than dainty little ones for you to take away. These were a greeny-brown. The room was a bit tired; the television had a small selection including some premium channels, the cables put in those plastic square cable tidies. The television in the bedroom was one of those old cathode ray tube ones. Breakfast was really good, with a large selection, and $20 per adult with free kids. The decoration in the bar area is pretty nice, with trees and plants all over the place. And in the large public areas, the sense of brown is less overwhelming. But they are still brown.
A. E.
Foyer very lavish, my room, 206, had a very HARD bed. Drawers under bench where case is put didn't slide well and looked a bit tatty. In laundry two small cuboards were rusted. Reception manager Dan told me the walk to the War Memorial was an "easy walk" it turned out to be almost 3km and took me an HOUR. I was not told about the local bus services and it was suggested I take a taxi almost everywhere I went. From there into the city you couldn't get a taxi for under $25. I soon found out (myself) that I could get a local bus outside the hotel. Their hotel transfer service from airport only worked on "weekdays" not weekends. Overall, I'd give the public areas of the hotel a 4 star rating, but the room 3 - 3 1/2. I wouldn't stay there again.
P. K.
Facilities were clean and tidy. Restaurant is quite fast and has good food. Carpet in room may need replacing, couch wasn't the most comfortable, loud plumbing on occasion.
J. D.
Good place to stay, it's close to the city centre with a tram stop a short walk. The secure parking is an attraction and the staff professional and friendly. While it is an older establishment it is in reasonable condition and comfortable.
D. M.
Good room service, ample parking, comfy beds.
S. R.
Hotel service was great. Rooms with kitchens only had a microwave and glasses, no cutlery or plates. Resturant chefs made an amazing buffet breakfast but room service dinner was disapointing. The young bar guys couldnt make coffee - literally passed the job along the line and the guy who made it couldnt froth the milk.
However very reasonable for the price. Would stay again for sure.
M. S.
Excellent value. Super comfortable bed. Light rail at the front for easy access to city centre. Parking , wheelchair access and lift. Central atrium with bar and restaurant is a nice touch.
M. L.
Pretty good value for accomodation in Canberra. Rooms are tired though. Bed seemed old, shower in the bath tub, poor lighting in vanity and noisy if you’re in the room facing the road. The restaurant and bar in the foyer is pretty cool though.
C. G.
Lovely staff... clean comfortable rooms..beautiful relaxing atmosphere in the atrium.
r. c.
Nice and clean hotel. The room we stayed in was a little bland if you can describe a room that way. The forest in the middle of the hotel is a nice change from every other lobby. And the restruant is very good.
G. R.
Very relaxing place, great service. Happy Hour everyday from 4.00 to 6.00pm ,very reasonable prices .Great staff
L. S.
Happy welcoming staff, great location for our needs. A+ value for money. Will certainly stay again.
T. M.
Excellent location to the centre of Canberra and Floriade. Reasonably priced Very good value for its location which is right on the busy street of Northbourne. Bathroom has a small newly renovated vanity and a separate cubicle with the toilet and shower over bath. Open entrance with welcoming set up.
S. F.
Good size room with a comfortable bed. The bar served a nice meal which we enjoyed last night and no one could complain about breakfast there was something for everyone.
J. M.
Great place, stayed over school holidays so parliament not sitting which made it superb value for money. Staff accommodating and kind, rooms clean comfortable, firm beds, food yum. Parking free for guests as is wifi
J. S.
Excellent services. Staff was very helpful when the room was not quite ready. We were assisted to secure our luggage when we went to the National Art Gallery.
D. C.
Very clean good food respectful staff nice rooms would recomend you to stay
A. F.
Great value hotel. Met by happy efficient staff, allocated a very nice clean and quiet room.
Everything was as it should be. Highly recommended.
S. V.
I liked the way it feels like your in an outdoor tropical garden . Room sevice is great, they even have late night room service . Rooms are great. Nice friendly staff . Relaxing atmosphere .great place to unwind
D. L.
Clean, tidy and not too far out of town. The buffet breakfast is good value if you book in early. Great hotel for the price!
E. P.
Beautiful place and ambience is awesome. Very neat and clean sheets with a large room. We loved and enjoyed staying here. Breakfast has a wide selection.
c. m.
The buffet breakfast was amazing: 5stars.
However the room we stayed in had the worst air conditioning and it was impossible to sleep, and this was in late February: 1 star
Would not stay there again.
A. R.
Great location, and is my go to hotel in Canberra. Unfortunately, the pipe was really noisy at 6am and woke me up. Room wasn't well lit, and prices have gone up significantly!
N. L.
I have stayed here numerous times and I'm always happy to return. The hotel is reasonably priced and the food and drink is very good quality. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.
G. S.
Great place to stay, well laid out, with friendly staff willing to help to make your stay enjoyable.
S. R.
Convenient location with parking available and reasonably priced accommodation. Was upgraded to a serviced apartment, rooms were clean / tidy with sufficient amenities. Bar located next to lobby, soft drinks and small snacks can also be purchased there. Hotel is very close to Dickson shops - including good cafe's, causal dining options and also a Woolworths. Good stopover location when travelling thru Canberra for a weekend etc.
B. M.
Fairly cheap room. Nicely decorated atrium/lobby with a relaxed feeling. A few issues with our bathroom at our stay but they were fixed promptly.
a. b.
Nice place however a little rough on the edges. My room was not serviced today, apparently they missed it. Food menu is good but the service lacks the professional touch.
A. M.
Was a good place to stay. The atrium is amazing and nice to have a meal or drink in. The rooms are a bit tired and was rather warm. The staff were very friendly and nice.
S. H.
Staff are amazing and place is beautiful, my friend had her wedding at the pavilion and we had 2 months to find a venue (last minute wedding). After we checked out so many hotels for wedding venues we found this place and we both fell in love with it but not only with place but with the staff and the service, the event organiser went iut of her way to make sure our requirements are met and they made things happen in a short period. Even after writing this post i feel like i havent said enough.. i definitely recommend this place.
T. T.
Went there for event and loved the place. Didn't stay overnight but overall the hotel is spacious and love the lighting in the center court. Lunch was not bad and need some improvement.
A. F.
Thermostat wasn't working so the room was perpetually cold. Other than that it was a good stay. Defence put us up so mot sure on room cost but food was reasonable.
T. M.
Staying at the Pavilion on Northbourne on a Floriade Package was a fun experience. Hotel was clean as were the rooms. The reception, bar, kitchen and servicing could not be faulted. Ask for a room around the back as there is extensive work on Northbourne to accommodate for the new tram.
I. T.
Loved the room! Very clean and comfortable. Trees in the middle of the building made it really relaxing. Room service was quick too.
D. E.
Meals were good. Atmosphere was good.room needed some maintenance.leg missing on fridge it wobbled around.towl rail hanging of wall.door to bathroom rotted
P. B.
Ok
Good service
Good facilities
Rooms good
Overall- starting to look a little tired
W. W.
Enjoyed an overnight stay and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was great, and the food first rate. The atrium bar is a great place to relax for pre and post dinner drinks.
L. M.
The restaurant food is really good, reasonably priced with huge portions. The rooms are the biggest let down. Very drab but clean. Funky smell in elevator and corridors.
W. V.
This hotel is well located just before the ABC in Canberra along Northbourne Ave on the Left Hand Side of the road if coming into Canberra from Sydney. Ample and secure parking is available, with comfortable rooms, reasonable prices and excellent be and pillow options. Whether staying for a night, a week or a weekend, you could not do any wrong at the Pavilion. Multiple food options are just up the road in Dickson or just down the road in Braddon which will suit singles, couples, families or groups.
C. L.
Great staff, clean and tidy environment. Great price and value. Fairly noisy non controllable air conditioner woke us up a few times when it kicked in.
S. C.
Have stayed here a couple of times now, clean but dated room's, great size, Bar and Restaurant are very good, enjoyable stay.
D. B.
Nice rooms - air conditioning always seems to be too high in places like these but the rooms are nice and fresh. The pool is a cool treat after a hot day and the staff friendly and obliging
A. R.
Needs a bit of an upgrade. Pool needed some scrubbing but still nice to cool on. Staff great
E. H.
Enjoyable stay. Nice quiet room at rear of hotel, well situated for access to civic via the light rail almost outside the hotel
R. P.
Was nice and cosy. Beds was a bit soft.
Down side is TV doesn't adjust Foxtel to well. You miss a quarter of the action on screen
S. H.
Reasonably central to Canberra and not too far from the airport. There is guest parking but it does get full so be sure to get in early in the afternoon in case they run out. Rooms are OK but not awesome, but that is really not a bad thing.
M. P.
Lovely big rooms. Very good service. Great breakfast. Atrium is lovely for an after tourist day drinks
a. m.
Yeah can definitely recommend, especially for the money, friendly staff, neat, clean room, comfy bed and good size room👍
G. E.
Awesome service and a fantastic Buffett breakfast. I would highly recommend the pavilion on northborn
n.
Unpleasant stay payed 189 $for 1 night with my mum sister niece stayed in the suite with mum only. 1 queen size bed and 1 sofa bed come on did not. Sleep a wink no blanket
R. L.
Great staff, helped us when we needed it, rooms lovely, loads of space, the pool is small but functional, has a great choice of menu too.
D. T.
great atrium area with a rainforest atmosphere. very clean rooms, hot shower with full flow hot water. friendly staff - no problems at all.
J.
Great place. Comfortable rooms close to city. Good food especially the buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.
S. S.
Room was clean and well equipped with tea and coffee etc but no milk. Buffet breakfast was 5 Stars
R. M.
Good food at reasonable prices, with excellent aervice
M. D.
Nice quiet dinner here. Place well heated up during winter nights.
P. M.
Very reasonably priced with good sized rooms.
A different interior since all rooms open to an internal "forest".
Often stay here when in Canberra
A. C.
Great hotel, easy to find, easy walk to Dickson shops/restaurants. Staff were friendly and welcoming, will be good when light rail opens to get to Canberra Centre.
G. M.
Not flash and a bit retro but a really good vibe. The staff were very pleasant and obliging. With that central area and heaters it was very pleasant to relax in after a long day
P. B.
Lovely staff nice atmosphere lovely little bar and close to restaurants and the light rail. Would def stay again.
R. C.
This place is huge ... full in room and restaurant food services, great staff, secure parking and surprising value
R. K.
Very lovely hotel. Accommodating atmosphere. Staff are pleasant. Price of food is reasonable.
S. K.
Great location ,very friendly and helpful staff, nice, clean rooms, only carpets in the rooms need to replace.Buffet breakfast was very good and in general ,this hotel is highly recommended...
E. B.
Great accommodation, food excellent no complaints with hospitality
S. W.
The room doors let through a lot of sound, and I was constantly awaken by people talking outside and talking loudl, jincluding by staff.
C. H.
Friendly and helpful staff, lovely plant filled internal spaces. Room was clean and well made up, bathroom looked a little old but everything worked well.
S. W.
Great staff, very clean and spacious rooms. We will be back soon 🙂🙂 🙂
c. l.
The service at Northbourne was simple and down the earth. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms neat and tidy with all the necessities provided and happy hour was great
S. F.
Room was small but cozy, very clean. Bed was really comfy. Only spare PowerPoint was in bathroom or behind bed.
D. “. R.
Great rooms and quite liked the main lobby
. They need better coffee at the buffet but I still enjoyed it. 4/5 from me.
Q. I.
Good hotel to stay when traveling for work to Canberra. 24 hour front desk and very close to city centre. Ample parking at the back
J. C.
Great location, friendly staff and clean room. We got free upgrade to an apartment with great facilities. Thanks!
S. H.
My partner and I stayed for 1 night, used a red balloon voucher.I recommend this hotel , for the dinner meals, lovely yet highly professional staff members and level of cleanliness of the rooms.
L. H.
A comfortable restful stay..staff r very friendly and helpful. Clean and well presented rooms..value for money.
Q. N.
This place is great! Secured parking for your vehicle, giving you 'peace of mind'as well as fantastic accomodation. The numerouse plants give a good "homey feel"as well as extra oxygen in case of a zombie apocalypse- not a bad thing! :)
No troubles with this place as it has extremely friendly staff, free newspaper, close to CBD - close proximity all close things that Canberra has to offer. I struggle to find anything bad about the place... note - tv has its own sensor (its behind the tv - you might want to move it to the front to change the channels "easier-ly"). besides this... highly recommended.
M. K.
Location is alright it was not far from my work event rather central to it, room was good the bathroom is a bit small and the shower head was terrible but the room was cosy, service was great clearners didnt steal anything.
R. Y.
Was here for a breakfast function and the staff were courteous and helpful, esp. for the AV presentation which had us puzzled. Excellent service.
M. H.
clean and friendly place with great food, beds are a bit hard, swimming pool is not elderly or disabled friendly as there is no rails to get in/out, lovley greenery inside
L. B.
Place looks excellent, however the single bed was a little uncomfortable, breakfast was quite nice, it's definitely worth it for a one night stay
R. J.
Fantastic location. Clean and modern rooms. Im here on business but happy never the less.
B. C.
Great experience. Nice room and off street parking
K. B.
I really enjoyed the hotel experience. The gardens in the foyer/restaurant are beautiful. The customer service was amazing and I couldn't of thought of any place better.
M. R.
Previously used to stay at another hotel whenever in ACT but cant fault Pavilion. A fair walk out of the City but they have a shuttle bus. Great Hotel!
w. s.
Nice friendly staff and very clean rooms and great atmosphere
Nice breakfast menu and sucre car park will definitely stay again and I will
Recommend to my friends thank you😊😊

Nice atmosphere but limited and expensive choice for mediocre meals
P. s.
The service was excellent and really easy parking as well. The food was amazing and the bar staff had a sense of humor that was a nice touch
N. S.
Our stay in a suite was lovely and quiet. The suite had plenty of space, and was kept clean and fresh.
F. R.
Nice humble place to stay. What i admired the most is the staff. It felt like they were always there for you. They are youg but polite and well trained. Ill stay here when im in canberra next
F. J.
Stayed here a bunch of times staff always remembered and took care of me great big rooms and comfy beds
d.
Even though our room faced Northbourne it wasn't noisy. Clean and spacious room. Will stay again.
A.
Buffet was delicious and atrium was beautiful. Location is close to the city but roadworks on the main road made it impossible to get in and out of hotel smoothly.
N. J.
Nice place to stay. Staff are very welcoming
h. e.
such a nice environment, super comfy beds and really nice rooms, the showers were to die for
P. C.
Good place to stay and the meals are fantastic

Top notch, great service, clean rooms, nice food and atmosphere. Will be back !
P. T.
Efficient booking and checkin staff. Fast checkout. Great central location. Good onsite resaurant. Clean and spacious rooms.
C. K.
It's an ok hotel - a bit expensive for the price. The rooms are very dated and the indoor jungle theme is a bit weird. Staff were friendly though.
P. H.
Nice seafood, but who doesn’t provide gravy for a Xmas roast dinner!
B. B.
Great stay at Pavilion on Northbourne. Helpful, friendly staff, good service. The buffet breakfast is a gem.
h. l.
Reasonable rate, good sized room. Excellent menu and wine list available at the restaurant and bar.
J. R.
Clean rooms and great service. Love the atrium bar and restaurant arrangement in the middle of the premises.
F. a.
Amazing hotel to stay in within discovering Canberra, very helpful front desk and they work for 24hrs , they have very delicious breakfast for only $20 , also free security parking.
A. C.
Great customer service , I work nearby and sometimes I have lunch here and the staff is great , especially Jeremy which usually is at lunch time. Food is great and not expensive.
P. Z.

Friendly and helpful staff and fantastic quality rooms. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful room and close enough for a sub $10 Uber to pretty much anywhere.
Very nice room and a bargain price!
J. S.
Comfortable room. Delightful atrium. Friendly staff. Convenient parking. Breakfast a bit disappointing.
L. S.
Stayed at Aria Hotel, one of three hotels with this group. New and modern, spacious rooms and bathrooms - will definitely be back! Restaurant at Pavilion was delicious!
M. R.
Took a large group here for lunch. The food is basic but done well. The service is good. Nothing fancy at all.
L. “. S.
Highly recommend. Beautiful hotel to stay in, has everything you need, restaurant, coffee shop, close to bus stop, short walk to the city
A. L.
Comfy bed, friendly staff, and good food in the restaurant. Only 2km from the city centre too. Would definitely recommend.
P. M.
Friendly service. Reasonable food. But I really like the atrium and setup. Relaxing place to eat and catch up with visiting family.
R. K.
Secure parking, large rooms, comfortable beds, tiny bathroom. Bit dated, but still relatively comfortable.Good location, but not walking distance to anything.
r. D. S.
Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well worth the small amount extra.
N. L.
Went here for a conference, as far as conference goes, was not amazing, was not bad. They did have decent coffee so that was good.
J. R.
Very nice hotel will stay again great service comfortable food is great lovely bar and sitting area
D. S.
Only ok. Very cheap and nit a good feeling. Car park is not great and wifi sucked. Food ok but breakfast sausages not cooked properly
h. m.
Good value for money, room was a good size. Free parking, friendly staff.
M. K.
Good location, free parking. I like the apartment and especially I like our cozy living room. Recommended for families!
D. I.
The rooms, areas and lobby where all beautiful. The service wasn't bad. The only problem was the Wi-Fi was very spotty.
F. B.
Convenient. A little bit further from the city, but free parking makes it perfect.
J. Y.
Good beds
