C. R.Secure parking aroung the corner safer than leaving your car behind the hotel. Avoid Room 29; has ventalation duct running through corner of room from restaurant below. Continiuous droning noise during restaurant trading hours.
k. u.After a noisy night last night (see previous review), I can now update my review with a positive outcome. Today we were relocated to a second internal room that is just as clean and spacious as the first but with no noise issue whatsoever. The staff were very obliging and moved our belongings from one room to another whilst we were out sightseeing. We were also given a lovely bottle of wine for our inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again but would request an internal room. Very homely and whilst clean, not sterile.

E. W.Room was clean tidy. Comfortable. And got an upgrade with was so kind of them. Big rooms with a proper kitchen and laundry. So nice to have a bath tub to relax. Painting was a bit not in sync with the heritage building I think.
B.Nice and clean. Heritage listed building which makes refurbishment tricky. No complaints. Staff are friendly and attentive.
C. H.Room was good. Reception nice & efficient. Try not to get a room Above the tavern below or the back courtyard as the late evening noise goes long into the night. Access to the city zone is only a short walk. Tram service and bus services right there.
L. Y.Location is great, Staff courteous and helpful The bed was comfortable and room was quiet and clean. Central Canberra is all around you, great shopping and local Bars and Restaurants.
S.Booked a night's stay whilst celebrating a family birthday. The room was good and the convenience made the decision a simple one. Would look to stay again
u. j.Great hotel in the centre of city centre. Bars, restaurants and alot of Parking nearby. The receptionist was very cooperative and friendly, he guide us to all nearby facilities. Would love to come back next time.
v. g.Looks better on the pictures than it is. Great location, size and amenities space wise, but in a need of refreshment, interior very tired and it is showing, carpet with stains, sink with spider cracks etc. Lift makes tired and worrisome screeching noises
T. B.Rooms are clean and tidy, very comfortable stay with excellent amenities. Close to major shopping centres and restaurants. Just don’t stay on the West Row side of the building, really noisy at nighttime and you can hear people’s conversations from the street.
H. G.My word... one of the most fantastic stays of my life. Right in the heart of Canberra. All the restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping mall just less than a minute walk away. The only bad I could not stay here forever. Cant wait to come back to Canberra and this place !!!

The only reason I couldn’t give five stars is the shower temperature had a mind of it’s own & would go from hot to cold constantly & the noise from the pub below our room.
But we are not overly finicky people so this didn’t bother us too much
P. S.So we rocked up admittedly 10 mins prior to the 2pm and was told our room was not ready and to come back in about 20 mins or so wandered off and had a quiet beer gave them a little longer approx 30-35 mins went up to the room smelt clean. Ok fair enough but room very out dated and located in the back alley even on a Monday night the noise was horrible and then had the workman start working at some ungodly hour in he morning. So check out is apparently at 10am got a knock at the door from house keeping at 8.15 am we were still in bed 😕what the 😕 will not be staying here again....
by the way don’t use the lift sounds like you might get stuck

N. O.Right in the middle of the city. Easy walk to all shops and restaurants. Couches in rooms could use an upgrade/decent clean, however everything else was clean and well organised. Room was big and kitchenette/balcony area were great. Mini bar/snacks not overpriced and deliveroo to your room from local restaurants

Good location, convenient transportation, shopping and dining are very convenient. Restaurants of different tastes. Very close to the bus terminal, a few minutes walk to ANU.
