P.Very grateful to the Capitanos hotel staff (Paulo, Mathew and Angela) who booked us in on Christmas day with little notice after an international flight change, upgraded our accommodation, and looked after us during the COVID lockdown. Top quality service. Very friendly staff. Our children loved the pool.

S. B.I just want to say a big thank you to the Capitanos team, especially Angela. We had been staying there because we were trying to get to Perth and they were able to accommodate our last minute need for extra nights and early check in. Yes there are a few things that need attention to detail like a few cobwebs and cleaning around the tap. Overall though, the amount of facilities you get for the price is unmatched and the room is clean with plenty of storage. Not even a 4 star hotel offers free foxtel with over 600 channels, free laundry and dryer and a bbq. It is so close to the centre of all the action, but far enough away you don't have to deal with any drunken riff raff. We would definitely stay here again.
A. J. B.Capitanos was lovely, we stayed with our 2 year old who absolutely loved the shallow end of the pool! We felt safe and very well looked after. The rooms were large, the bedding was wonderful, the TV and Air Con were working perfectly. The location was amazing - far enough away from the nightlife not to hear a thing and close enough to get you to everywhere you want to be. Cannot reccommend Capitanos enough for families travelling on a budget and a big thank you to Leanne for taking care of us at every corner.✌
E. N.All around amazing front staff, she was absolutely great to talk to and helped out so much with everything we needed. The location of the hotel is golden, it is extremely close to a lot of things to do around in the darwin city and is prime for being close to places to eat and drink. The rooms are stunning in every way, you get your own kitchenette and a TV with Foxtel already on it that you do not need to pay any extras for. The room is also extremely clean and tidy, it is noticeable that the rooms were recently deep cleaned which gave us peace of mind especially during COVID-19. In the kitchenette there were a decent range cutlery and kitchenware to use, the fridge it self was nicely stocked with milk satchels and there was tea bags and coffee easily accessible. The bathroom was greatly sanitised and cleaned by the staff which was really nice to see, there was soap and other necessities available for the bathroom. The hotel rooms have wonderful security with the only way to get on the premise is to have a room key which was greatly helpful for feeling safe at night, the rooms themselves have heavy door locks which can be a little loud while closing but are still really nice to know that it will not be easily broken into. With a little extra security the rooms had a small lockbox in them to put important possessions into while i was not in the room for safe keeping.all around the room is easily a 5/5 and i wouldn't rate it any lower.
B. G.Wow I'm so impressed with this affordable hotel in the Darwin CBD. Lovely staff and a pool that gets sun all day. Great wifi too - which I needed for Zoom calls for work. Room was clean, modern and everything worked. No frills but also very affordable for this solo traveler! Would happily return.
