H.I could not fault this hotel the service was good staff were good and when I arrived I was so over tired I got an emergency check in because they were very concerned about my well being although the room was small - that out weighs when normal check in is at a certain time - the staff member got me into my room straight away and delayed check in until I got a good sleep - this is why this hotel is getting a 5 star rating and I will be returning to this hotel again - and it will be my first choice. I'm returning to Darwin soon and I will be going for an apartment again THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT - NO RESTURANT BUT THAT'S NO WORRY TO ME - this hotel deserves the maximum award available - Edith was the best and received all my payments and did her job well.

J. S.It's a clean modern hotel in Smith Street Darwin friendly staff however the rooms are small there is no cable TV channels and there are no blankets or doona only sheets on the bed.
The pool is small and stuck in a narrow area and not very inviting at all.

Limited parking space for guests, neighbour’s phone calls and snoring can be heard clearly, water pressure for shower is very low. The worst part was that when we went to bed, we found there was no blanket or quilt in the room and service desk does not answer the call. We had to rush downstairs to look for a staff since service desk is closed after 10:30pm.

I fell in love with the towels so bad I wanted to take one home with me. I would've even paid for it. Best towels ever!
When I'm back in Darwin, expect me back here.
L. M.8 of us arrived around 2:30 am and the night manager insisted we pay there and then, we were booked for 10 nights, we were tired and needing to sleep but he said we couldn’t leave it until the next morning 🤦♀️ There was a lump of mop debris on the floor which I complained about and it took another6 days to finally be cleaned up. They don’t make the beds unless you ask. The fridge freezer did not freeze. We had to ask for tea and coffee, this should be part of the morning check. Noisy nightclub across the road Friday & Saturday night until 4:30am. All in all the whole hotel was not worth $209 per night. Central to city was one advantage.
r. v.I’ve honestly never experienced better customer service before. Our trip was changed last minute due to flight changes/car hire issues (stressful!) When I rang just to change the date of when we would arrive, I let the team know why the date had changed only to arrive to a thoughtful note and a bottle of wine in our room! This trip was supposed to be our honeymoon but due to covid we had to push our wedding out. These guys were none the wiser of this and just made us feel incredibly special and welcomed, regardless! Really close to everything handy and has washing facilities, always good when you’re on the go for a while. Thank-you to all the staff, you really went above and beyond!
g.Nice staff, smooth check in and check out process and clean modern room. We even added an extra night on and they were easily able to accommodate and gave us a good rate. It's in a great location close to all the shops too.

G. S.Had a 2 night stay here and liked many things about it. The room was spotlessly clean, and seemed very new. Plenty of extras such as iron, safe, fridge, hair dryer etc which was great. The price of the room was very good for the time of year and in such a good location in the city. I was able to check in early, and I was given an option of rooms depending on where would suit me best. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The option to go across the road to the gym was great and one I partook in. I would definitely stay here again.
A. B.Overall it's a decent place, very well located and with good sized room and bathroom. I was traveling alone and got a double bed which was cool! The shower was great! Also liked the facilities in the room, such as kettle and some free tea.
The only drawback is that the walls are SO thin that I could easily hear another guest snoring at the next room during all night long. That part was not fun at all.

A. V.Hotel is in a prime location. The pool is small and the Buffett breakfast is conveniently located downstairs. The breakfast is average and should be better. One major disappointment is that the cleaning service isn't available on the weekends. Staying over the weekend is a pain as your room won't get cleaned. The rooms are quite spacious and have decent facilities with an exception to the shower, it is amazing. The customer service is good and the staff are friendly.

A. J.Good value but be careful booking over weekend as there are parties and constant coming and going people from 11pm-4am and you will not get any sleep. This is where all the party people book to sleep after going clubbing and will not respect your peace. No lobby overnight to help either.

J. C.Recently stayed in a studio room. Hotel is so close to everything in town. Room was lovely; very comfortable and functional. Bed was great and loved that there was minimal light from outside and no annoying flashing lights over the bed. Lift was smooth and fast and the guy who checked us in, Sam, was lovely and helpful. He even recommended for us to go to the markets for breakfast (which I thought would be closed due to weather but were open).

Hotel not far from the centre entertainment area. Walking distance to the wharf and other restaurants. Hotel was clean, large rooms, lovely friendly staff, good breakfast. For our large group they have been exceptional. Would return again. Thanks Richard and your team.
M. I.The rooms are nice, but the service and management is terrible. We booked an apartment for a stay with 4 people. Despite the very spacious room, the sleeping sofa for 2 people in the living room was only about 1 meter wide. After I asked at reception if it was possible to get another mattress the reply of the manager was extremely rude - its "technically just not possible and I'm personally also sleeping on such a bed. Many other guests are happy too." - well o.k. then... The fact that I find it strange and gross that the blanket had no sheet must also be part of our excessive demands. Additionally disgusting was the extreme smell of smoke in the isle on the way from the isle to our room. This was however gone in the room itself.
Only reason why I gave 3 instead of 2 stars is the fact that the rooms were very clean and the receptionist apologized with some sweets for the fact that she obviously also felt the bed may be a bit small...

Bad - the swimming pool a little bit small, the fan switch is broken (safety issue for kid)
E. H.Christmas time is the best time to go because a lot of people leave for the holidays and everything is free to use. Reception is very nice and the facilities are clean and well organised. However, the cups are not very clean and the water is very suspicious... Overall great experience but very small flaws.

G. F.A clean decent room big enough for 3 adults. Convenient as it's near Woolworth and Coles. We checked out the next day enroute to Kakadu and Katherine. When we re check-in after 2days, my son was impressed that Alison remembered his name and was checked in without any fuss. She also assigned a bigger room this time which is deeply appreciated. Tolle Lage & sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und flexible Mitarbeiter. Zimmer sauber, Pool vorhanden - Kühlschrank gefüllt mit Getränken, Snacks vorhanden. Auch wenn dies extra zu zahlen ist, sehr schön.
Gutes Hotel und definitiv empfehlenswert, sollte es einen nach Darwin verschlagen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung.
