r. l.Great option with amazing seaview. Will definitely be back. Even with a typhoon and lots of rain everyday it was a great break. staff were all really great! Room was comfortable and super clean
S. R.A welcoming 9 day stay in large well serviced room on 7th floor overlooking lovely pool and small section of harbour. Nice to have a balcony even tho small. Beds were extra comfy, shower was great. Plenty of choice at buffet breakfast and poolside restaurant. A great take away breakfast pack was supplied for early starts. Within walking distance to shops and waterfront. 😀
n. m.We moved from another hotel in Darwin which was in dis repair and moldy. After seeing the rooms and facilities at your hotel it ticked all the boxes for us, the rooms were well appointed and comfortable, the pool area was nice and so was all the staff and the restaurant and bar. We would highly recommend.

P. H.Great location, yes it's an older building but it's been well maintained and renovated - it survived Cyclone Tracey so it's obviously got good bones. Staff were faultless - friendly and acted on any request immediately. Really the only issue we couldn't solve was a lack of water pressure at some times in busy periods along with water temperature fluctuations but this was a minor drawback.

B.I did enjoy my stay at Double Tree Darwin however I checked out a day early because of a Covid scare as did my friends who had the same deal.They have both been given a refund of $177 dollars and I have not been contacted at all. I have chosen the call back option on two occasions on your Web but so far have heard nothing. My friends were a Mr Ross Cooke and a Karen O'Sullivan'. I. B.Rooms aren't great. They need a good freshen up. Pool area is good. Service was very good.
M. H.For food only, did not stay there. Walking along the Esplanade @sunset and considering dinner options I decided to investigate the Aqua menu (usually avoid hotel restaurants as they often do not try). However in this case food was excellent -seared scallops entree (18.50) very tasty, well plated. Grilled salmon (34) equally tasty and no need for sides as grilled asparagus and Kifpler potatoes under. Reasonably priced glass of white wine all-round good quality and value. Definitely worth walking off the street for.

A. S.My wife and I rebooked into your hotel after an outback tour on the late afternoon of 4/8 departing on 7/8 to return to Brisbane. On both our pre outback and post outback stays at the DoubleTree By Hilton the rooms were very comfortable, bar and dining facilities very good and the staff ranging from the booking in / check out counter, to the dining room and cleaning were excellent. Little things like asking for and receiving extra tea bags or assistance in having our border passes printed made for a very enjoyable experience.

S. H.Hot breakfast items were not very hot. Luke warm at best.
Sausages dry mildly warm, bacon hard mildly warm, hash browns stale and cold,, poached eggs hot but hard boiled. Tried it at both 7am and 9am. Very ordinary. Worst ever experienced by this hotel group.
Continental items were satisfactory, although pasty items were limited, small croissants, and tiny muffins.

S. S.We had a short but great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had been moving around a bit this trip and both my husband and I rated the breakfast as the best we'd had on this trip. There was a late check out which is perfect. We went for a long walk and a swim in the hotel pool and got ready leisurely to head for the airport. Will definitely stay here again.

L. S. L.Stay here for the view and the kids pool. We chose the deluxe king room for a couple's weekend away. The room was very basic but the view was outstanding. Ask for the territorians rate and we got 2 free drinks and buy one get one free breakfast. The pool was great for swimming with a toddler. There is a shallow kids pool as well as the main pool. There is also a grassy area for kids to run in a fenced area. The staff are very welcoming and accommodated a toddler at breakfast. Across the street is a world class kids park good called for money overall. Note the room had shower only no bath. In room fridge and safe as well.
T. M.Stayed here for a week and enjoyed the location within the CBD, waterfront and bars/ restaurants. I was given a complimentary drink voucher and a sincere apology and was told towels would be sent up immediately. Very good food in the onsite restaurant. Staff are very well versed with things and activities to do.
G. G.Mostly the service. In particular it is the warm and genuine woman at breakfast - I think her name is Komal. Sunday morning at 8.30am - one of the nicest people with a very genuine approach. More people like her please.
Actually everything was pretty great, including all staff - but she made everyone feel so at home and like they/we were valued and highly respected guests. True story!

Best thing about this hotel is the service and the staff. Fabulous front desk staff, so friendly and helpful. It was a great intro to Darwin and Australia. We'll def go back!

D. B.There are two Double tree by Hiltons side by side, I have had the privilege of staying at both .... the Double Tree at No:122 is the better hotel. The rooms are better quality. Tue hotel is better layed out, the pool bar has a better meal selection, the restaurant has a better selections and the pool is shaded by nice well kept gardens
B. N.This is the business version of Hilton Double Tree at 122 the esplanade. The hotel is a little old and doesn't look much from outside. But! Well maintained inside, slightly renovated, great main restaurant with excellent buffet breakfast. The restaurant overlooks the pool which is in the shade. The rooms have a fantastic view of the darwin bay. Free WiFi. Easy check-in and out. The chef is good and the specials are excellent.
P. Y.Great place to stay for the weekend, close to the city and within walking distance of several attractions. Great to have on-site parking.

H.my stay at double tree was pleasant. the bedding is very comfortable and the showers are placed high to cater for the tall man, but also the spout provides a generous flow of water and it is possible to get hot water (two gripes I have most other hotels). the room temperature is a little too cold and can't seem to warm the room up (I turned the air conditioning off).
K. G.Nice hotel but really it is nothing more than that. Besides the swimming pool (which is right next to the restaurant) there are no other nice facilities. With the swimming pool the shade covers the area by around 2pm so no Su baking from then onwards. Breakfast is decent but nothing extravagant, though the best thing about it is that you can make your own juice.

T. M.I would recommend the Double tree to my friends and families. It's only a short walk to pubs and restaurants. The hotel staff went above and beyond what I would expect from hotel staff. The conference facilities were excellent. Room prices are quite reasonable (now I know why) probably the cheapest Hilton room you'll ever stay in.

D. H. (.Location on the Esplanade is well situated and perfect for accessing Darwin. 12pm check out suits domestic flight schedules. Staff are friendly and attentive. Professional conference facilities were fine although facilities manager did not approach us at all. Hotel did not have Paywave which was irritating
A. G.Place is ok, 3 sides to the hotel, make sure you do not overlook the hostel, it is a very loud area. Pool is nice, and fairly conveniently located.
A. L.There are 2 Doubletree by Hilton side by side each other. The other one is called Doubletree by Hilton Esplanade which I have not visited.
The room is newly renovated and modern. The amenities eg. shampoo etc are good and branded. The restaurant is not big but comfortable. Good buffet breakfast and money for value dinners.
Only thing I don't like is the corridor to the rooms. It is modern trendy design of dark grey with cool white LED light which is too cold. The building is triangle in shape, ask for front facing room look over the park and harbour beyond.

R. C.Recently spend ANZAC day in Darwin and stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Darwin. Stayed in this place many years ago and I remember it was was of the only buildings left standing after Tracy. We loved our time there (9 days), loved the food and loved the Happy Hour at the bar. All staff were amazing. Definitely stay there when next in Darwin.

T. M.The Hilton at 122 is a good hotel with great staff who make the hotel from the desk staff to the cleaners and restaurant staff. Best asset is the location across from the Gardens. Would definitely recommend if you wanted to be a little away from the main area's of Mitchell Street.

E.was nice enough hotel breakfast was below average l caught a big fish on a charter boat ask hotel to cook for me was told 30 dollars per person to cook which included salad chips l thought bit expensive but ok when the fish came out was 2 pieces on a plate no salad no chips l had to ask for plate for my son when bill came l ask the on duty restaurant why have u charged me 60 dollars to cook 2 bits of fish the rather big indian looking lady said thats what u pay l said so u charging me 60 dollars to cook fish l supplied at a hotel l staying at for 6 days she argue the point for ages then finaly agreed to charge 30 dollars now its not the 30 dollars but the fact l booked 2 rooms cost me 2200 dollars and the big indian wanted to charge me 60 tp cook 2 bits of fish l fillet is rude l never stay again
