Clean and tidy and comfortable rooms, quiet at night. Nice relaxing stay, friendly staff.

Barbara was absolutely lovely on the phone. I have family staying here and she made it easy for me to follow up with them. Excellent service! thank you!
T.
Very central, easy walk to great places, food and entertainment.
We ordered breakfast to our room and it was excellent. My teenagers went silly over the scrumptious pastries! …

Good place for covid 19 quarantine that's for sure 👌 👍 💯 hope everyone enjoys there stay here I did

Excellent service during Covid 2 week lock down last year in 2020

The room was clean, neat and tidy. The bathroom was squishy. The breakfast buffet was barely warm and the food items had been sitting for some time. Room service meals were great. Room cleaning was fine but small things were missed (like not replacing the toilet paper or milk in the fridge). It's the little things that can make a difference. Rooms are not very sound proof (could hear people talking/kids in the adjacent rooms & outside noise).
Location is good - but a hike down (and back up) hill if you want to do any activities around the harbor (most tours go from there) or spend any time in the CBD. I didn't mind the exercise - but someone with mobility issues might want to look for something flatter. All staff were very friendly.

Great hotel, excellent location. The beds were fantastic. Others in my group said the restaurant was also quite good, though I didnt personally eat there. Under building parking is excellent, worth the small cost. The staff were exceptionally helpful.
G. I.
Room was large and airy with a balcony door that could be opened. Good supply of power outlets. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant had a good variety of tasty food. Whilst it was convenient for work it is a bit of a walk to the waterfront and eateries. Service from staff was overall pretty good.
M. S.
We were very impressed. We were greeted by a genuinely welcoming lady at the front desk. They helped with tour booking, information on where to eat and booking transportation. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble- we'd certainly stay here again. Love a hotel where staff are friendly and approachable!

Great no fuss clean hotel. It is located in a good area and you are walking distance to the main drags.
There is 1hr parking outside Monday - Friday 8am until 6pm. Unlimited after 6pm and on weekends. Alternatively the hotel was paid off street parking.
Service during the stay was also greet and check in and out seamless.

Rates pn are way too cheap for this quality stay. Ive been a retail assessors in the past and if still was, Id say this hotel is top notch for price!
Staff are absolutely incredible,, I stayed 2 nights for a mummy weeknd away.
Spotless!. from room to carpark under. Has balcony to enjoy the awesome view over Hobart.
This establishment is to be commended. Food is great and diverse menu.parking is easy and staff are more than happy to accommodate any needs of guests. Wow..after 30 years of visiting Hobart..Ive found my fave!

Had a lovely stay Accompanied by my daughter and 2 grandchildren. Very clean comfortable and pleasant rooms. Great buffet style breakfast Very varied and delicious food Dinner at the restaurant catering for Vegetarians and the children was excellent. Helpful friendly professional staff from front of house, reception, waiting and cleaning staff. The service was great. Very central within walking distance for all of our requirements Great parking . Will definitely return

Hit the mark. Efficient, clean, comfortable, recently decorated in room.
Close to our favorite breakfast spot "straight up" and our car rental "bargain car rentals". Laundry for guest use.
Noisy neighbour upstairs thumping through the concrete. Fire alarm on the morning! Hallways look slightly dated.
Very good at being everything it needed to be and nothing it didn't need to be.

My partner and I stayed for five nights and we were very impressed. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The meals were great and the Staff were warm, friendly and most helpful. They went out of their way for a dietary requirement we requested. Hotel was in walking distance to the CBD and so much more. Totally recommend staying here.

The Best Western proved to be a fairly great location not far from the CBD or waterfront districts in Hobart. From check in, we were provided an excellent experience by Linda. The rooms themselves are a good size, and include most amenities you expect in a Hotel. Just keep in mind, there are no facilities for cooking such as a microwave and factor that in to your stay.
Our biggest issue was some renovations that were happening in the rooms directly above ours, but we got better rooms on our second visit. I would highly advise to ask the reception staff to book rooms away from the renovations for the best experience there.
The parking is reasonable at $10/day and there was plenty of availability when we visited. Overall, we liked the Best Western and would stay again.

I didn’t appreciate the outdated design, location on a hill a bit far from the center. But the airport shuttle stops relatively close to the hotel, so you don’t have to drag your suitcase around too much. The gym is pretty good despite the …
I. T.
The rooms are decent - good bed, some amenities, clean - but nothing fancy. Car parking is available - $15 per day for non guests and $10 for guests (make sure to get ticket from front desk). Front desk service is friendly and helpful. The price is a bit more than expected of a basic hotel.
R. M.
A nice hotel with a good restraunt and bar area.
The rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. It's in a good area for walking the city as the waterfront is only a few blocks away.
The restraunt and bar are nice and offer a good happy hour for when you want a beer but don't want to head out.
My only small negative was that the street noise in the room can get a little loud during the morning commute hours but it wasn't anything that would keep you up.
The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice and you can get a good meal if you want. Plus Queens donuts is literally across the street!
M. G. M.
This is a centrally located hotel about 1 block from the CBD. Bathrooms in some of the rooms are currently undergoing upgrade, assuming my room is one of the refurbished ones then they are modern and functional. Beds are king size. Environment is modern and functional.
C. M.
Stayed at Best Western in Hobart. I asked for a separate room within our room as my sister was staying with my husband and me. The extra room was excellent. It had 3 beds and a television. It was over and beyond what I expected. The main room was very good as well. All the staff we encountered were courteous, friendly and helpful. The full buffet breakfast was something to look forward to each morning. Dinner at night was also a treat. The beds were very comfortable. The location was very good - for access to the CBD and for other attractions. The cost of the stay was very attractive. All in all I would totally recommend The Best Western in Hobart, Tasmania.
S. L.
Very nice hotel only a short walk from Hobart centre. We had a nice suite with 2 rooms. Nothing fancy but comfortable beds and jacuzzi bath. Members of staff were lovely from the receptionist to the cleaners. We spent 3 days there. The parking is 10 dollars extra a day. The breakfast was very nice but we would have loved to have 1 or 2 specials a day, like different mushrooms or even some vegetarian options for the savoury part.
C.
This was a last minute pick. Front desk staff friendly. The room was comfortable. On the Sunday we treated ourselves to the hot Sunday breakfast. The buffet staff were a little terse. This hotel is a 10 minute walk from Elizabeth St for shopping and Salamanca St. for the Sunday market and great restaurants and cafes.
R. W.
The location in easily accessible, plenty of parking available close to the premises. Meeting room was bright, clean and well presented. Food was good. We were there for a meeting and I was surprised they didn't have an in-house events notice board for the location of events, everyone attending had to ask at reception and the reception staff member was quite busy.
L.
Very good location and easy for pickup for tours. Reasonably priced too. The bathroom was a bit old but clean. Aircon works quite fast which is a blessing on cold nights.
C. H.
For the price we paid we expected much better. The price was obviously inflated due to the wooden boat festival. The room was small, in fact we had to move the bed to get access as it was so close to the window. The balcony was a joke, with the a/c unit taking up half the tiny space.
The sliding door to the bathroom was not secured at the bottom, and flapped around.
The whole room was dated and needed serious upgrading.
Having said that, meals were good in the restaurant, although the buffet breakfast left a bit to be desired. We would not return.
R. P.
wonderful service. staff friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Rooms clean and serviced daily.
Off street parking available but parking spots a little narrow. Resturant serves nice and reasonable priced mealsEasy aalking to markets and piers.
D. T.
For the price, it's good.
A few mins walk if you took the Skybus from the airport, just get off at Stop 4 or 5. It's flanked by car rental shops as well, so it's very convenient.
The lobby and rooms are a bit stuffy at first as it's quite an 80s-type of hotel.
Beds are large, water pressure is good, WiFi is free, staff were friendly too.
S. B.
Quiz night in Goulburn room. Great venue - plenty of space, audio visual facilities excellent. Toilets modern and clean. Some small touches missing e.g. no serviettes with hot food, no spoon with hot choc & marshmallows. Easy parking nearby.
J. H.
Really friendly, efficient staff make your stay special. Extra linen etc is happily provided on request. The bed is very comfortable! Walking distance to Salamanca place and all city sites.
L. T.
My stay at Best Western in January was great.
The service is 4 Star for friendly staff and the room amenities is average. However, my recommendation for the hotel is the mattress need to be upgrade, it’s very soft which provide a uncomfortable sleep.
B. M.
This was a very comfortable stay with friendly staff and great value for money. The food was nice and fresh and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a luxury motel then this is not for you but it is a very nice place to stay and i have no complaints
D. L.
We enjoyed our stay. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Only 10 minute walk to Salamanca markets and the waterfront. Several restaurants nearby and a pub with very reasonably priced meals just around the corner.
S. L.
We had a really comfortable stay at this hotel on the edge of the CBD in Hobart. Although our room was a little dated, it was very spacious and had a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. We had everything we needed - flat screen TV, WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. The only thing was that the carpet in our room could have done with a good steam clean! Parking for $10 per night was a bonus!!
F. L.
Ok.
The room was neat and clean but old. Furnitures were quite outdated. Comes with a large flat screen TV, which was nice. The bed was comfortable, and the room comes with a balcony with a door you can open.
The bathroom was poor and old. Bath tub looked kinda yellow and the toilet also looks outdated. The shower is quite weak but it does the job. The soap and shampoo was quite cheap but it does the job alright. The bathroom was neat, though.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The buffet breakfast provided within the hotel was awful, I have never seen scramble eggs as messy as that. Bacon and sausages were too salty. Hash brown was so hard that it was almost inedible. The toast machine was so so so weak, I had my bread go through it three times and it's still soft. The buffet breakfast provided some Chinese food. I'm from China and I think there were awful. Don't waste your money on the breakfast.
The location was good though, near a lot of good restaurants.
Parking is available for $10 per day.
D. R.
Decent enough for a short business overnight. Cramped bath/shower combo and average amenities.
Good budget accommodation.
View was okay from 5th floor but balcony is single person standing only
D. H.
Bed was super comfy. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was nice. Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Close enough to everything. 10min walk to everything.
L. C.
Really stately older hotel good for budget accommodation. The staff are nice and the beds are top notch. Location is also amazing right in the centre of town. Would stay here again in an instant.
A. C.
This hotel was a mixed bag. The service by the staff was really good. But the rooms did not have good sound insulation, so my partner struggled to sleep. The food we had at dinner was overall not too bad, however the breakfast provided was not great. What saved the hotel from a lower rating was the price and the location, which was walking distance to most of the main streets in Hobart.

The Best Western Hobart is located up the hill from central Hobart. It's right near McBains bike shop (a Giant dealer with friendly staff). It is also near Queen Pastry where you can get nice fresh croissants in the morning. The board says it comes out of the ovens at 7:30, 8:45 and 10:30am. We stayed here twice. First was a standard king room with an extra bed rolled in. The staff were nice, but there weren't many rostered on. That room faced South and the King bed was comfy. The roller bed attracted a complaint from the child in the morning. Tea and coffee was complimentary, with uht milk being the whitener. The second stay was in a family room. One room with a king bed and the other had 2 single beds. All beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned daily. The bathroom was reasonable in size. We had decent water pressure in the shower, the amenities were replenished some days. The small bar fridge was tiny and not able to keep my tub of ice cream from melting. Unusual for a family suite, there was a sign saying no cooking. So no toasters and threats of chargeback of the fire brigade was summoned. 2 small mugs, tiny tea spoons were for the lame tea and coffee. I much prefer the motel in Strahan. At least they had fresh milk supplied daily. If you just wanted a room to sleep 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids), this was fine. You're not wanting to stay here if you wanted to get away from families. I'd probably stay here again if the rates were good. It wasn't too far a walk to Salamanca markets, but a very short stroll to the farm gate markets.
L. S.
Great locality, pleasant and helpful staff. Super comfy & clean room. Parking convenient and reasonably priced. Embers restaurant very nice, great service and the best pizzas.
c.
Location is fantastic we can access food and shopping simply by walking. Hotel is so so only.. the first night we checked in the kids room lights was not working and the shower faucet has a 'rubbery' feeling and coming off anytime. We informed the front desk and they were fixed on next morning we were out. Second night they forgot to leave behind a bath mat in e bathroom there wasn't a phone i can dial for housekeeping so I went downstairs to request for one, and it took a while for it to reach us. If u don't fuss over the room and cherish the location, this is a good place. Hotel guest park in e basement carpark at $10/night. Can walk to Salamanca Mkt save parking fee.
S. C.
This hotel may need updating in parts and may have been a little noisy at weekends, but this was compensated for by the friendly, cheerful and efficient staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfast and dinners were great and it was easier to eat in as many of the surrounding pubs were booked out for evening meals.
Would recommend thoroughly for a few days stay in Hobart exploring.
F. J.
Very good location in Hobart CBD easy to get around with the bus stops just a few mins away. We love the room, the breakfast, the service and the dinner provided. Definitely recommended!
P. S.
The hotel is well maintained and conveniently located in the downtown area. Very close to shops and the Salamanca market. The room is clean. The breakfast is excellent.
H. F.
Bar service was great, provided with complimentary canipees. Beer selection is standard mid ranged hotel selection that's not out of place in any sports bar. Restaurant service was sub par, my steak was tough, wine choice was limited but the Tasmanian Pinot noir was pleasant and delightful. Room was standard but clean, baths are shallow, shower over baths are annoying but not surprising for this their of hotel. Toiletries are limited to a bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner. Quite a bit of light bleeds from the corridor into the room at night, not an issue personally, but it may concern others.
M. D.
Fairly reasonable hotel for the price we paid which was obtained through Groupon and a 10% discount. The rooms are clean apart from some mould in the bathroom, and a faulty but later swapped to a working pod machine. Even better is the fact a buffet breakfast was included. As I was traveling with family, we were given a room which was split separately into two rooms. We even had seperate balconys overlooking Bathurst St. Staff were very friendly. The only major issue is their parking setup. $10 a day parking which is acceptable except at busy times it's hard to get a bloody parking spot. The 2nd night we stayed, there was 1 spot left and this was at 6pm. All in all, a great hotel right in Hobart close to all essential emenities.
C. B.
Clean, modern and great sized rooms. This recently refurbished hotel in the heart of Hobart had all of the amenities you need for your stay. Comfortable bed, great size TV and reasonable overnight undercover parking. Great value for money.
D. H.
We came to Hobart for a 4 day break, first time in Tasmania and we would recommend this motel to anyone visiting Tasmania.
Our room was spotless and comfortable, the staff were warm and friendly.
Definitely be coming back!!
P. S.
This hotel is ok if your looking for a place to sleep and look around the cbd a little to far for your average 50 year old to walk to the markets and if you have never heard of a fish and chip pizza YOU can get one here the king bed is great
P. G.
Great stay. Front office staff were really friendly and welcoming. Rooms amd toilets were clean and tidy. Breafast was good but serves the same! Overall, it was good.
L. P.
Room upgrade, along with a very large platter of fruit and die for selection of cheeses, and crackers, etc. Separate lounge room. Twin beds. Good restaurant, with friendly staff. Food a little expensive. But would recommend the hotel, when staying in Hobart.
L. T.
We have 3 people in a two bedroom unit. A little small in the pantry area but the rooms are spacious. Would be good to have additional wash area as we have to wait for each other to use the bathroom
s. s.
Nice, but it doesn't deserve 4 stars rating. As I couldn't not imagine a 4 star hotel that does NOT has any shower gell ... weird
Also, the other thing is you can hear noise from other rooms when people enter or uses their bathroom.
C.
Not a place that will blow your socks off but pleasant and helpful staff, clean and tidy rooms. Served the purpose of an over nighter when we first flew in. Restaurant nice, bit pricey in my opinion but I found all restaurant meals in Tasmania expensive in comparison to Brisbane.
B. W.
Comfortable bed, good night sleep. Budget room, good for a might or two. Restaurant has well priced delicious menu. Staff very friendly.
P. &. J. H.
Nice place to stay, which is close to the CBD and has all you need. Bed's are comfortable, rooms adequately equipped. Staff are friendly and helpful.
D. S. S.
Well managed, friendly staff in an older building. Well located for hire cars and near a friendly pub on Harrington Street that is popular with locals. If you walk down Harrington Street towards the Salamanca Market you will pass many eateries with mostly Asian cuisine. Walk a little further and you will see several eateries and bars overlooking the waterfront.
J. N.
great location uphill on Bathurst street, overlooking downtown hobart, within walking distance to thai, korean, japanese, indian, nepali restaurants and shopping district on nearby elizabeth street. its facilities are also valued money I paid, including fitness center, wide big restaurant and wide variety of breakfast buffet. in room service is great with dining, laundry.
A. E.
We had pizza, they were okay. Random combinations, basic options. Not enough staff on, we ended up leaving to have dessert elsewhere as there was only two options on the menu.
e. l.
Our stay was pleasant. Rooms were clean and serviced well. Only thing was noisy loud guests, shutting doors, talking loud. Quite inconsiderate.
U. K.
We were given a room key, arrived at the room to find someone else in there, which was embarrassing for us. Reception then told us the other person was given the wrong key. We then had to get our key changed because we lost access to the room. The aircon in the room was working, but we needed a heater, and there was no heat being produced by the unit. Lifts are old and very slow.
T. C.
Excellent hotel with fantastic staff-
Ethan is awesome. Great service. Made us feel welcome- needs substantial pay rise
Leo- not as nice
R. A.
We stayed for a week and hired a training room. The accomodation is a little old but comfortable and in close proximity to the cbd. The staff were great and couldn't help enough. Would stay again
J. R.
Loved this place beds were amazing so comfy. Convenient location. Flooring needs updating but irrelevant in the scheme of things We would absolutely stay here again
T.
Very suitable, low key and showing its age. Amazing shower pressure for a stunning shower but no ventilation on the bathroom. Nice helpful staff
T. S.
The hotel really need to be renovated to worth the current daily rate. The hair dryer is very old and wifi signal very weak. Browsing web is totally no problem.
A. S.
Great views from top floor on either side on hotel rooms. Quiet traffic levels at night
Short walk to CDB, Harbour, markets, Restaurants
Quick taxi service
Friendly and helpful staff
B.
Very good facilities and a great location that is right near the hop-on, hop-off bus and the shops so everything is very accessible. It also has a diner called "Embers" that features a lot of great food as well as a gym which is basic but cool because it is rarely used so you can access it all yourself without waiting. It also has complimentary Wi-Fi which overall has worked pretty well and some cable TV channels. Probably one of the best hotels around Hobart for the price; I would highly recommend it.

Great location, very convenient. Friendly service and good breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms look a bit dated but are clean and comfortable.
S. S.
Welcoming check in staff, and hotel located as we planned within easy walk of Hobart waterfront. However standard of the hotel's decor was disappointing, namely the hallway carpeting on our 5th floor was dirty and badly stained and looked like it hadn't been fitted properly. Similarly the bedroom carpet looked grubby. All carpets a dull grey. The hallways and rooms looked in need of refurbishing. Not the standard we expected from a BW Plus hotel.
T. -. l. R.
The room was spacious and clean, staff were friendly, a few minutes walk to the city centre, guest laundry facilities were a great bonus, would gladly stay here again
J. P.
Booked it due to loyalty program and location. Wasn't as close to the harbor as I would have liked. Very efficient staff, good parking option and comforltable sleeping rooms.
N.
A bit old, good downtown location. Take taxi from the airport to the hotel cost $40, the same cost of taking skybus for 2 adults. The skybus drops off at Brook Street Pier ( 2 nd stop), needs to walk uphill for 15 minutes with luggage. Not a good option.
J. L.
Clean, central location. Buffet is so-so in terms of taste. Car park was full on our second night, reception was happy to refund. Great value when purchasing with Groupon.
S. P.
Lovely hotel with large, clean and comfortable rooms. Good location and great service! Buffet breakfast was also delicious!
C. H.
Close to everything in Hobart CBD but they have the worst pillows I have ever encountered in a hotel. Had a terrible sleep because of the heavy, giant thick pillows that cause severe discomfort. If you stay here - bring your own pillow!
M. F.
Lovely Hotel would stay there again the room was big warm and comfortable. the price was very good For 2 people for 2 nights paid $254.The staff were very friendly and helpful enjoyed my stay very much.
K. T.
The hotel foyer and entrance was clean. The function rooms and bathroom facilities were well maintained. And the man on the front desk was very polite, respectful and courteous.
d. h.
Only problem was balcony are very smsll and nothing to sit on on balcony.
No plate or knife in room if you want to cut up some fruit or cheese . Apart from that very well priced and clean and tidy
a. b.
Average hotel. Needs an update. Beds were ok. Shower over bath is pretty dated. Nice staffs and pretty central.
L. W.
Beautiful 2 bdm room on level 5, with an amazing view of mount Wellington. Short walk to shops. Lovely bar and restaurant on site.
J. L.
Great location walking distance to the cbd and waterfront. Very friendly and professional staff. Room was clean and facilities worked fine.
Good value for money.
J. B.
Wish my stay was for longer. Friendly staff clean, spacious rooms, Easy checkin, checkout Hotel has every thing one could ask for very comfortable You can believe me my wife is very fussy
M. S. (.
Good experience. Location just a short walk to cbd. Staff friendly helpful, and room service meal was tasty! Needs to improve WI Fi, which doesn't really work.
Z. P. C.
Room was spacious for 4. Had parking but need to pay 10 dollars a night. Good place to rest and relax for the next days adventure
L. W.
Omg fish and chip pizza where have you been all my life!? Eatery is great. Accommodation is nice and comfy. Great central location.
R. K.
Comfortable hotel with good cleans rooms, nice restaurant on site. Staff are always helpful and friendly, and provide an efficient and professional service.
G. A.
Hotel located in the center. 15 minutes walk from Salamanca market and the wharf. Easy access to main roads.
Room is very basic. Bathroom not up to date...
C. G.
Awesome dinner, I had the lamb rump and he had the eye fillet yum, yum! His Apple pudding needs some work but my lemon sponge was good
m. w.
The fact that the hotel has a restaurant downstairs makes it a joy to stay over .the food is magnificent service is great , the only drawback is the fact that you have to pay extra for parking ,where most hotels treat it as complimentary.
K. S.
Karen at front desk was amazing .
Clean room. We have stayed here 3 times now and it's always great.
N. M.
Great service from the front office when I checked in and bed was incredibly comfortable. Hotel could do with double glazing of windows to muffle outside noise, but otherwise faultless!
E. L.
The room is clean and tidy, and the bed is comfy. One complaint I have is that the toilet seat won't stay up, making it quite an effort to use.
N. W.
Clean rooms, feels fresh, lots of light. Good sized tv and more importantly soft comfortable bed with soft and hard pillows.
L. W.
Very friendly staff and handy position. Rooms comfy, great wifi, on site restaurant all helps make staying here very enjoyable.
K. H.
Location was right in the heart of the city but honestly this hotel is run down. For the price I regret not staying at the ibis which is more convinient and has more modern rooms and facilities. Would I stay here again.? No it just was not value for money compared with what I could off got elsewhere in hobart
B. K.
Visited as a friend was staying there. Ground floor appeared modern and stylish. Drinks were reasonably priced but the service was above and beyond. Would recommend alone for that.
S. T.
Stay here every other week for work and never have an issue. Would rather stay here then some of the bigger chains in town. Great food and service and perfect for business travel.
J. M.
Very nice hotel in a great central location with comfortable clean rooms and great views. Staff and service are top notch, room service is very reasonable and fast the food is excellent.
C. G.
Function rooms are equipped for small groups, restaurant and accommodation, the place has been around for a long time but it is modern inside and the staff are friendly and skilled.
M. F.
Rooms were nice and modern but nkt a fan of 2 singles pushed together for a double. Restaurant dinner was ok but one of the best buffet breakfasts ive eaten for a while
T. T.
Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, great customer service, many amenities, clean and spacious room and comfy beds.
K. S.
Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast. Comy beds, yum pizzas. Nice room set up. 2 bedroom (family) room
G. C.
The staff at this question you know part of the most attentive hotel staff saying and I stayed in the Hilton in New York state is my show towels in Singapore London Paris Hawaii Afghanistan Kiwait Los Angeles Hawaii South Africa Scotland Island Timor-Leste day Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam, When I arrive the best Western Hobart I feel like I’m coming home that’s your 10 if the staff are they always make the extra effort and then got something are usually manage to find in 10 minutes you know that the drive down the road to get it
L. K.
My husband and I have had a lovely stay at Best Western Hobart, Tasmania, in Jan 2019 visiting the Wicked Cheese, Barilla Bay Osyster Farm and picking fresh hugh sweet cherries and very very sweet apricots from a fruit farm.
Compliments to all staff at BW Hobart for their warm, friendly and excellent services we received throughout our 4 days' stay! The location of hotel was central only 7-10 mins walk to Elizabeth St Mall and Myers.
Hope to return again for another beautiful stay in the future!
I. G.
We had a small corner room, but to make up for it, we had a square shower head in a square shower. The water was hot and strong - you almost couldn't escape it!
I. L.
The room was clean and tidy with comfortable bedding. Functional, within walkable distance to city centre. Reasonably priced. Value for money.
S. T.
Excellent food and service. Rooms especially bathroom could do with a little updating. Great experience overall thank you
L. C.
Great place to stay, value for money, close to town, great parking, and a restaurant. Easy to find and very efficient staff. Will definitely be back.
S. H.
A little dated and drab, but clean and cheap, Best Western Hobart is a decent place with comfy beds. Check out the hotel restaurant Embers, the food is a little pricey but damn it's good.
S. S.
Location is great. But the hotel is a bit tired. Balcony door doesn't close properly, tv didn't work.
R. H.
Rooms dated but clean and comfortable all one needs when spending most of day sightseeing.
Staff friendly and helpful
N. M.
hotel is a bit older but fine for me and located very well for walking to Hobart museum, salamanca market, etc. would recommend for a good value stay.
B. H.
Good staff. Rooms were a little dated but can't beat location. Service was quick!!
J. G.
View from our room on the 5th floor budget accommodation in the heart of the city. The Shamrock hotel one block away has awesome affordable all day meals
s.
Myself and my partner stayed at the bewst western hobart for a week. The staff were extremely helpful and we even recieved a free upgrade on our room. The hotel is very clean and hospitable, whay more coyld you ask for?
I. J.
Room very nice, bathroom a bit dated but all clean and tidy. downstairs restaurant was amazing!
K. G.
Good quality at a reasonable price. Centrally located. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.
D. M.
Good location, lovely staff. Was slightly let down by the cleaning standard in the bathroom, but a positive experience overall.
J.
I thought it was a good place to get a hotel. Comfortable and good location as well as modern. Thank you team.
U. S.
Best western has a very welcoming environment and always enjoyed booking to best western. I would highly recommend every best western hotel as they have the best services to offer at good prices.
J. S.

The front desk staff was really helpful as the phone in my room was not working, and I forgot to bring slippers, they sort out everything in just 10 mins in a professional manner. Also the house keeping lady make my room sparkling clean. When we are in our room, she politely asked for our available time for cleaning I feel like we are well look after here. Thank you very much. Just one point on buffet breakfast - if there is fresh salad available would be great !

Very good place for a stay in Hobart, it is conveniently located main city area. Excellent welcoming professional staff and great service. Very good complementary breakfast with plenty of options to choose and exceptional restaurant service. House keeping staff is so dedicated, all through my stay, I come back from outside to see a fresh room. Parking is available and you have straight access from parking to rooms. My room was good however I was not fully happy with the bathroom, it needs some improvements. Over all a big tick from me and highly recommend this place.
