M.You get what you pay for. Rooms a little dated, different bedspread sets on each bed. Can only view the TV from one of the two single beds. Did the job of providing a place to sleep and a shower. Good location. Quiet and country. You get that homely feel as if you are staying at your grandmother's place.
V. B.Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and airy with adequate equipment. They are on the small size though. Restaurant is lovely and the home baked items are definitely home baked. Pricing is reasonable. Parking outside every unit.

My only concern is that an 8pm closing is a bit early given that the Spirit docks around 7.30pm on a day sailing.
You might consider advertising that you are available for a night after the Spirit docks. If I can book a room for late arrival, I'll be a fairly regular customer.

D.The view from our window was wonderful! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, heating, washing machine and drier available. Good internet speed that is included. Very friendly owners. We had a delicious dinner. Very reasonable rate. The room is a bit dated but all the positives picked up my rating to overall 5 stars.

Thoughtfully and beautifully cared for and maintained with free wifi, DVD rental, complimentary car wash products for guests to use, great on site restaurant, lovely hosts and of course amazing views to the beautiful mountains with stunning sunsets you can watch from the comfort of your very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up 👍👍 Will definitely stay at this motel again when I’m next in beautiful Deloraine.
p. g.Upon arrival our room was not ready, no sheets, pillows etc and was dirty. Staff sorted a new room for us very quickly and we're apologetic. Comfortable bed, modern heating/AC. The restaurant had some great food apart from the potato being cold, which was also sorted very quickly. Would stay here again.
p. b.Mountain View country Inn was amazing.we had the family suite, it was spotless.from the cupboards,crockery,to the crispy white bedding. I would totally recommend mountain View. And the staff were very friendly and professional.

S. G.I would of loved to have given this place 5 stars as it’s a lovely place and the staff are very friendly, but the following issues let us down. There was no soap in our room and when I asked I was told they had run out which is fair enough but there is a woolies down the road where they could of picked some up. There was a huge wet patch next to the bed which I assume is from the shower leaking. At dinner I ordered a $4 soft drink can that came as a 100ml cup with ice and I did not get the rest of the can. Walls are very thin and could hear people snoring all night.

V.My mum and two of her friends stayed here on Saturday night they all said they absolutely loved it nice crisp white sheets spotlessly clean and in a beautiful spot and the 3 of them stayed in the one with 2 bedrooms they would definitely stay here again and said the man at reception was such a nice person and was very welcoming looks like I will need to go and check this place out now 😊

J. M.Have stayed here a couple of times, find it more than ok for a overnight stay, the meals at the restaurant have been great, the staff are friendly interesting people, knowledgeable on the area. It's an old motel and could probably do with a face lift but it's comfortable.

Geoff & Marilou are very friendly welcoming hosts whom provide clean well appointed accommodation combined with awesome meals in the Settlers Restaurant ( absorb some local history or enjoy a drink in front of the fireplace ) will definitely stay here again when next in Deloraine area !!!

We made the mistake of pre-booking this motel. It is not as displayed on-line. It is a very poor 70's motel that is still back there.
The staff were terse and would not let us cancel our booking without charging us $99 so we were forced to stay.
The room was tiny and the bar fridge sooo small that many of our cold goods could not be included. I received a very curt reply the I asked if another room had a larger refridgerator.
There was one teaspoon supplied and two mugs. No other cutlery or crockery or microwave was supplied.
The bathroom was old and the bath towels were nearly thread bare not what you expect.
The room itself had a sloping floor that fell to the bedhead and bathroom so that your head was well below your feet as you tried to sleep on the rock hard mattress.
TV best viewed with binoculars as it's so small. Free Wi-Fi lasted less than 30 minutes.
We were not alone as other guests had similar tales to tell of their night spent here. There are many great B&B's , etc. to stay at in Deloraine.
C. H. Z.Had a mixup with the booking, yet the manager was very nice and gave us the room keys. NIce views and very convenient location. The small town is quiet and had a good night's sleep.
