So much character and luxury. The house is absolutely stunning - in some ways it feels as though we stayed in a luxury museum. So many lovely touches whilst embracing the history of the building. Chanxi was a wonderful host - nothing was too difficult for her. A unique experience in Hobart, and one I would recommend to anyone looking for something special.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Corinda Collection. The house is beautiful and the history so interesting. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much to ask. The breakfast was outstanding too!

I cannot recommend The Corinda Collection highly enough. Although we stayed in one of the modern pavilions, the old house and associated accommodation options looked just as magnificent. Our stay was super comfortable, and the location meant it was an easy walk into town, with a good uphill calorie burner on the way back. Julian was the perfect host and I very much appreciated him checking in on me from time-to-time in the week I was there on my own before my husband and our kids arrived from Perth. We would definitely stay here again next time we are lucky enough to be back in Tasmania.

I stayed here for a friend's wedding recently (wedding hosted on site too) and the place was fantastic. Great rooms with plenty of space and amenities were all modern which is impressive given the antique stylings. Breakfast can be included and was of a high standard. The hosts (Julian and Chaxi and their team) were very hospitable and friendly and made it an even more pleasant and enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend staying here, it's a must!

It’s hard to describe this magnificent house on a hill with a view from the garden that looks like a painting nothing in words will seem to do it justice and 5 stars seems so few . If you are planning a visit to Hobart then look no further there is nothing to compare to Corinda. Every tiny detail for your comfort is thought of and the history of this once family home with its hundreds of antiques will enchant you . It is a tribute to the owners who have managed to retain the integrity of this family home in its conversion to a guest house with every possible comfort by some ingenious design . A short 15 min walk down through the rose gardens you will arrive at the Harbour so a convenient location to stroll to Salamanca or the ferry to Mona .
We are returning for one last visit to Corinda the night before we leave and we can’t think of a better memory to say farewell to this beautiful State .

I loved every minute that I spent at Corinda. I chose to stay on a night when they offer a pop up dinner so that my friends could come and enjoy the house with me. The owners and hosts, Chaxi & Julian are relaxed, hospitality professionals who made us all feel welcome. We had a brilliant dinner and my room was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to stay again.

I loved every minute of my stay at Corinda. My friends were able to join me for a delicious pop up Mexican dinner and we had a brilliant time. The owners Chaxi & Julian made us feel relaxed and welcome. The whole experience was wonderful.

Chazi and Julian are gracious hosts. Their historical cottages and home are an experience to be savoured.
The gardens are amazing. Your Hobart holiday could be happily spent in their surrounds and in the nearby streets.

Really lovely place, very hospitable hosts and breakfast is really nice. Our family cottage was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We had a great stay in gardeners cottage at Corinda, loved the cosy feel of the cottage and great garden that surrounds it. Followed up with a great breakfast on the verandah in the morning, next time were in Hobart we'll be booking in again

We knew as soon as we walked in the door that we were in for a treat. It is a beautiful old house and our room was lovely. Great view of Hobart and Mt. Wellington, very comfy bed and extra special bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and we look forward to staying again.

Beautiful antique decorations throughout the whole hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the names of each room have a story. The honesty bar was also a fun way to start the evening.

Magical stay! A highlight of our trip to tasmania, every room was beautifully decorated including the gardens - it truly felt like we were visiting another country or time period. The owners Julian and Chaxi were also so warm, welcoming and accommodating and made us feel like special guests. Our Los primos Mexican degustation dinner at the hotel by chef Ben gilligan was another highlight - an authentic Mexican meal, made with a lot of heart, soul and flavour. It was so great to just be able to walk downstairs from our room to enjoy this wonderful and intimate dining experience ! I would stay again in a heart beat.

Second time staying at this art gallery.. different room.. breathtaking 💖.. my absolute favourite part is the front garden… I love having my morning coffee or sunset tea at the front porch 💖

Exceptional property and hosts who absolutely understand providing an incredible customer experience. We stayed in Pavilion B (with two children). The lighting, the quality fit out, the architectural features, top notch kitchen supplies and tasmanian wine and beer (without any mark up). The gardens are so magical. Loved every part of our stay.

Great accommodation! Loved the attentions to details in the interiors. The cottages have been thoughtfully renovated to reflect its histories. Everything looks authentic and beautiful. Enjoyed staying in the place.
Room was cleaned each day which was great. Service was great and accommodating. You can message them any time and get a reply. So convenient you don't have to drop by the reception or make a call.
The wines supplied in the house are very reasonably priced and tasted great. The breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast room was beautiful in the morning with sunlight coming through. Food was all very high quality even though it is simply prepared and served. You get to enjoy the qualify of the produce. Only wish there weren't cars parked in outside right by the windows, that would have made the view even better.
Location is great too. Have a good view of the hilly cityscape. Would definitely stay again.

What an amazing place to stay! Beautiful historic house, very tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Great location as well, walking distance to the city. We stayed in Servant's corner - very cosy house with a separate bedroom upstairs, kitchen, dining room with a fireplace and a modern bathtub. Loved it! Special thank you for a tasty breakfast. Everything was local produce, fresh an tasty, and the bacon was cooked to perfection!
Next time we'll stay longer.

Nestled between cobble stone courtyard and magnificent garden, the Corinda collection is a remarkable place. The two bedroom cottage we stayed in was enchanting, the best features of a bygone era having been beautifully restored, whilst cleverly disguising all the mod cons of the 21st century within the property's heritage.
The grand dame of a main house is resplendent, striking the perfect balance of grandeur and hospitable warmth. Her garden is spectacular, the highlight of our stay. It called us back at the end of each day, promising discoveries along it's hidden pathways, or a game of hide and seek in the afternoon sunshine, a chilled bottle of something nearby. Thank you for a unique and magical getaway, we can't wait to come back.

We stayed in the attached Servants Quarters for one night and it was delightful - we were t sad to leave and it was only the beginning of our holiday! Host Julian couldn't have been more hospitable and his dinner recommendations were awesomely good. We will definitely be back, but this time I'm planning 3 or 4 nights :-)

You simply must experience this for yourself. A gem of a period residence filling with the most interesting art and furniture and amazing gardens ... we had one night and morning here and I’m definitely hoping to head back to soak up the atmosphere. Delicious breakfast cooked to order by our host Julian.

The Gardner's cottage is absolutely beautiful! The setting instantly brings you back in time, yet the cottage has modern facilities implemented for convenience. The only regret we had is that the stay is too short... definitely will come back!
A. T.
A great place full of character. The historical features are carefully preserved and very well maintained. We stayed at the self-contained Servants Quarter cottage, but other options were also impressive.
R. B.
We stayed in the gardeners cottage and loved it! The garden is absolutely stunning as are the views from the upstairs bedroom windows. The bed was really comfy the toiletries are luxurious and the cottage is lovingly styled. The hosts are thoughtful and gracious and have thought of everything to make a lovely experience. I really want to come back and stay in the main house next time. We had breakfast on the sunny veranda and I really didn’t want to leave.

I feel like every time I stay at a hotel, I look around the white walls, insipid art and mass-bought furnishings and end up feeling a sort of deep existential despair. The Corina Collection, though, is the antithesis to the sterile, one-size-fits-all hotel industry. It is deeply, deeply characterful, and staying there is so exciting and heart-nourishing. If you're looking for AirBnB levels of uniqueness and homeliness, with excellent hotel attentiveness, look no further.
The whole experience — from finding my key on the hall stand, to the incredibly furnished rooms, all brimming with gorgeous antiques that felt deeply loved, to the lounge with chess set and honesty bar, stocked with terrific local spirits and fresh ice — was just remarkable. I felt like a 1930s reporter, staying in an English estate. There were stories around every corner.
Chaxi's breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, and sitting in the sunroom as the morning light poured in was pretty darn special.
This is what hotels were once like, in the early 20th century, before efficiency took over as the primary goal of industry. It's such a thrill to know that this sort of place still exists. Chaxi and Julian have created such a special place. Stay here, you'll be talking about it forever.

One of the most happy and inviting places we have stayed at. It really felt just like home!
We stayed in one of the apartment, so clean and perfect all-round.
The owners are absolutely lovely, we met them both throughout the stay and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
We will be staying again and probably each and everytime we are in Hobart.
The garden is beautiful! It's close to the CBD that you can walk there and also a Taxi or Uber is cheap also.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Beautiful 1870's mansion, Big rooms, super comfy beds, amazing gardens, views over Hobart, Mt Wellington and the Derwent, great food.

Such a dreamy accommodation full of history and fantastic staff. Thanks Chaxi, Julian and staff for having my partner and I. You guys looked after us so well! Definitely recommend Chaxi' smoothies in the morning :)

We spent a few nights at Corinda in the servants quarters. It was a fantastic place to stay - within walking distance of the CBD, easy parking, lovely owners, clean rooms and a quiet area.
The breakfast was great too, and eating it on the sunny veranda was a great way to start our day. The surrounding garden is beautiful and the Botanic gardens are nearby as well.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A genuinely charming experience! We stayed in the Servants Quarters room, which consists of 2 floors, with a cosy bedroom upstairs (with a super comfy bed!) and a kitchen/dining room downstairs with a pot-belly stove. Also the bathroom was excellent, with a full-size bath that was much enjoyed after hiking the overland track!
The proprietors were really welcoming and the breakfast is not to be missed!
I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hobart.

Had a wonderful stay at the Gardner’s Cottage. Lovely little cottage for 2. Easy walk to the city and harbour area. Walk back is up hill, less than $10 uber if you want – those hills give you a good view for the top floor of the cottage... The garden and main house are also very lovely. Will be back.

An overnight stay, which i booked online directly, the communication was excellent, the room was clean and the enormous bed was really comfortable. The whole house had been carefully decorated with a range of antique furniture and paintings, with garden being quite spectacular. The best was the breakfast, generous and great mix with prompt service.
Writing this probably doesnt speak highly enough of overall feeling. Really just enjoyed the relaxing stay

This place is amazing, it has to be experienced to be believed.
The hospitality and little 'extras' that are offered make this stay a must if you're visiting Hobart.
We had an overnight stay and luckily for us opted to include breakfast, wow, so glad we did.
We will definately be back. So enjoyable.
Thank you so much Julian and Chaxi for you're amazing hospitality. xo

We stayed in the Garden Room which has beautiful views of kunyani Mt Wellington and the gorgeous city of Hobart. Many thoughtful touches made this stay extra cosy; heated towels, the fire place, Julian’s cooked breakfasts in the mornings, the luxe products in the bathroom and tea/coffee and biscuits whenever. We loved being just a short walk away from the city centre and staying in a stunning historic house!

In general, not really worth the price. We loved the location of the resort. The views from the hotel are magnificent. The decoration inside is par excellent. There were plenty of towels for use. The landscape were beautiful throughout the day. The breakfast at the hotel is as good as you can get.

Fantastic place. A beautifully restored historic mansion with every room different and amazing. Perfect location for easy walk to Hobart CBD and waterfront.

The room itself was hotel standard clean. The smiles of all the staff were second to none. The location on the edge of the Domain was excellent with only a short walk to Constitution Dock and Sala***ca. The owners have thought of everything to ensure a relaxing and pampered stay.

Truly passionate owners who has preserved the legacy from their Grandparents. Anyone who wants 19th Century Majestic feeling must stay here. The breakfast would just make you feel so good to go for whole day.

I stayed in the Wellington suite for 4 nights and was totally in love with this place. The charm and elegance of the historical building and furnishings and can't be beat! And yet still the suite was comfortable, and the modern spa bath integrated in the historical bathroom was perfect. I highly recommend having breakfast here each morning as it was always delicious. Can't wait to stay here again!

Very charming. Excellent place to stay with a lot of character.

This place is seriously amazing! Immaculately maintained 19th century homestead with charming large rooms and bathrooms.
Service is amazing, both Chaxi and Julian are super friendly and make you feel right at home. The location is great, only a 10 min walk down to the Hobart waterfront. I have been to Hobart a few times, and I don't think I'll stay anywhere else ever again other than the Corinda!
I couldn't recommend it more highly!
J. D.
Beautiful house and stunning gardens. The breakfast was fabulous also. Loved the homegrown tomatoes.
