An amazing balcony and courtyard, that all guest can enjoy and lounge in the sun. 15min walk from the Salamanca markets and 50m walk to the restuarant strip of tendy Elizabeth St. In the evening enjoy a snifter of port in The Lodges comfortable lounge. V. M. (.Beautiful historic building that's the perfect setting as a base of operations for a visit to Hobart. Starting with a very warm welcome and invitation to relax in the lounge with a complimentary port. Room was the perfect size, cosy and warm despite the cooler temperatures of a Hobart winter. There was a great spread for a continental breakfast and you really felt like a welcome guest in a house rather than just a customer. I highly recommend this place to those wanting a more congenial experience than just staying in a hotel.

T. M.The house is within walking distance of town and the waterfront. We came in out of the cold to a very warm welcome from the Hostess. The continental breakfast has a wonderful selection. The location beis very close to all the wonderful things Hobart has to offer I would recommend this place to anyone.
D. D.We stayed here a few years ago, was very nice and would definitely stay there again! Rooms were nice and clean. We liked the little garden out the back. Close to north Hobart shops/cafes, and about 15/20min walk down to the harbour.
T. M.We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was beautiful. The location means that you are within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Hobart. We had a great nights sleep snuggled with the electric blanket which we needed. After a day of sightseeing,enjoy a glass of port and chocs in the drawing room-a lovely touch.

T. M.Beautiful 1820 Georgian House is right in the center of Hobart within 10 minutes walk of all attractions and over 30 restaurants. Jeff and Julie are wonderful hosts and made our stay there enjoyable. Graeme even helped us carry our bags to our room. Could not more highly recommend this place.

T. M.From the moment we walked into Jeff & Julie's Lodge on Elizabeth they instantly made us all feel instantly relaxed. The host was very friendly and providing good information of Hobart interestings. Only 15 min drive to MONA or easy driving to Bruny island, Mt wellington or Mt Field.

T. M.The room was very comfortable with a roomy, en suite bath. The evening Port wine ritual brings ***y new people and new friends together. The hosts, Jeff and Julia, prepared us nice breakfast every morning. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a short or long stay.

The breakfast Buffet was fantastic and if you came in late at night there was coffee and tea facilities in the lounge area (even a jar of marshmallows) for a nice hot chocolate. A short walk up Elizabeth street lends itsrlf to a plethora of bars and eateries.

Parking is not available on premises, only street parking is available, that makes it a bit inconvenient.
Breakfast was OK, needs improvement though, only continental breakfast is offered..

The Lodge is well above street level so we missed it while driving by. The breakfast room was well equipped with lots to choose from.
T. M.Hosts Lyn & Lee were most helpful especially when the airport shuttle bus failed to arrive. The gardens are so pretty and the people who run this establishment couldn't be nicer. It's well situated for walking into the city and there is a choice of eating places nearby. Good value for the price.

k. w.My fiance and I spent a night here and found it very lovely. As we didn't need lots of space the cosy room with a bed, table and two lounge chairs was ideal, and as we had a spa suite the spa was lovely too. The Edwardian decor was very lovely and quite quaint, as was the back garden.
The staff were pleasant without being talkative or overbearing, and very welcoming. The continental breakfast was lovely, but there was no hot breakfast available which disappointed my fiance. Would have liked to have had wi-fi access and perhaps a few more toiletries in the room; however, we would certainly stay there again.
T. M.Jeff and Julie are the ultimate hosts with their passion for excellence with a personal touch. Bathroom was shoved in the corner, no room on the sink to store your supplies and if you dropped the soap in the shower your would strike your head on the toilet bending down to pick it up. Would not recommend it to anyone, not even my dog.

Hotel mit englischem Charme. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Perfekte Zimmerausstattung und ein großartiges Frühstück mit sehr viel Liebe und Engagement. So macht Urlaub Spaß. Wäre gerne länger geblieben. Weiter so.
