We recently stayed in the motel for two nights. The room was clean and modern, had lots of natural light, and the room was actually quite spacious for a motel room! One night, we had dinner in the bistro, and the servings were very generous! Dianne, thank you for your incredible hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay. 🙂

We have been here before, but only with a group. This time it was just we two, for a late lunch, about 1:30, and I must say that the ambience of the room was very pleasant, the meal was lovely, and the waitress was very pleasant and made us feel most welcome. We would be very happy to go here again.

The meals were amazing! The staff were amazing, the entire atmosphere was amazing! From the AUSTRALIAN Salmon, to the calamari (arguably the worlds best), and even the mixed grill! A country pub, serving city grub! Must visit, must try!

We travelled to Allansford for MX racing this weekend just gone. We booked 2 rooms at the Motel for 2 nights. Each of our rooms were lovely and clean, warm and plenty of fresh towels, pillows, etc. Our beds were made up and bins emptied each day. We also dined in the hotel on Saturday night. The food (and drinks) were great and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay at the Allansford Motel. Keep up the good work !!

It was a nice place but my husbands fish and chips were just ordinary nothing special and I ordered grilled salmon with chips and salad only to receive mashed potatoes instead I let them know , they said sorry which was good but again for the price just ordinary

A group of 4 of us stayed at the Allansford for 5 nights and it was stunning. The room was very clean and a great size for the 4 of us with separate rooms and a good TV/lounge area (room number 9). The staff were simply amazing and couldn't do enough for us! Nothing was ever a bother for them at all and they looked after us really well. The bar and restaurant were also brilliant with good choices for food. The chef obviously has passion for what he does and was really personable. We are a group in our 30's and 40's and were attending a wedding nearby and this met and exceeded our needs and expectations.

Great hidden little hotel. We got told the meals here were really good. So we went out tonight. Wow what a great meal! Four of us ordered the steaks and all were cooked perfectly! Prices are great as well! Where else can you get a rib eye for less than $30.00 and tastes great? Nowhere. Well done! Will be back again!

Wonderful, as always. Great food, top notch salad bar (loved the bacon and seeded mustard potatoes!). Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good prices. Couldn't choose, so went halves...Hungarian Parma and Scotch Fillet with Mushroom Sauce. Tasty as.

It doesn’t get any better than the Allansford Hotel for genuine great people and outstanding food that will more than meet your expectations. The head chef and all the crew are great, but the food was incredibly good an terrific value. If only every Aussie pub was this good. The steaks are enormous and cooked Just as you order. The Scotch was tender, Prime Rib was amazing, dish of the day was a surprise going to the Pork Steak - the flavour and juiciness was amazing. Not to mention the salad buffet you can help your self at with astonish scalloped potatoes literally the best I think I’ve ever had!! The locals have a winner here I can tell you!!

myself & work colleagues bought some of our residents from Lyndoch Living in for lunch today. The premises has access for wheelchair & other walking aids. The staff were incredibly helpful & provided for our every need. The food was fresh, tender & cooked to perfection & beautifully presented. The beers & soft drinks were cold & full of fizz. Highly recommended to families & small or large groups 👌

Enjoyed a meal at the bistro after a taking a pit stop from a very long drive. Upon entering, the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive which was nice because I was knackered and in a bad mood. That made my day. After downing a nice carb loaded full strength beer and reflecting on the extensive menu it was good to see a menu for normal people. While there were a few gluten free and veggo items, most of the menu features delicious, normal meat eating, gluten loaded items for people like myself which is a nice change from the restaurants where I live because I'm not a gluten intolerant, vegan, man bun wearing hipster. After devouring a delicious oversized chicken schitzel and chips and a few more drinks, it made the rest of the trip home tolerable. Would eat here again.
