A. M. H.Person from the bar server us fresh food even though was outside of kitchen hours and he presented us the hotel and garden.
Very genuine friendly person and the food was fantastic.
I recommend this place to eat instead of Mc Donald or other places to eat when travelling from Sydney to Melbourne.
D. B.Turned off the Hume Highway for a toilet stop. Then decided to see if we could find a counter lunch at the local pub. My goodness what a fantastic surprise. Personally hosted by Trevor. The selection of food and pairing of the wine together with the decor is worth traveling for. A BIG 10 out of 10!

K.I came to the pub the other night for dinner, food was beautiful and all the front of house staff were so nice and well mannered apart from the bar maid with blond hair, she did not make me feel welcomed and she had very red glassy eyes which made me feel uncomfortable. Whilst the other waitresses were working hard to do their job she was sitting on her phone and couldn’t even serve me , I had to wait for another staff member to come and attend me whilst she was doing nothing, just sitting on her phone.

The beer garden was lovely to be in and the attention from Trevor and his staff was just right.
The wine selection was a great surprise and particularly the fact that they were ‘chemical free’ and so smooth to drink out of delightful glasses.

J.The accomodation
We stayed three nights in one of the twin rooms. The room was large (actually two rooms) and had two queen beds. We really enjoyed our stay and found both the room and beds to be very confortable. The air conditioning was a real plus on such a hot weekend.
The pub
Warm country service, excellent food and drink. The chicken parmy was delicious and the garlic bread is defintitey worth getting. Really enjoyed the local beer and cider. Trevor (the owner) kindly let us try many of his own wines, which really added to the experience.

We enjoyed terrific meals lunch, dinner and breakfast with a lovely team of staff and very accomodating, interesting and enthusiastic owner who has great knowledge of food and wine industry and keeps it down to earth and doesn't forget the locals as well as the tourists. It's a spacious and warm pub with an amazing cellar if you're lucky enough to be invited down there. :) We also enjoyed the very clean and inexpensive motel accommodation with lovely cooked breakfast in the pub (after 10am). Sadly a few hours after we departed the Victorian Government announced drastic new restrictions regarding COVID-19 which will affect everyone especially hospitality businesses like this one. Interior of the hotel was well laid out. Staff were very helpful and even with our large group service was prompt. Highly recommended
