J. O.A personal touch with stylish decorating and many intimate public spaces make for a truly unique experience. The recently renovated bathrooms are great as well as a kitchen that actually has an oven to use! If you’re looking for a trendy spot to stay in St.Kilda and don’t want to stay in the party heavy hostels, this is the place for you.
T. S.Great hostel with modern style and a nice location. Kitchen is fully equiped with everything you need to cook and bake your own meals which will save you a ton of money in Melbourne. Beds are not the most comfy but reasonable for hostel life. Bathrooms are very clean and theres always an open shower or toilet which is very nice to never wait.
A. H.This is one of the strangest hostels I've stayed at. It has the potential to be an unbelievable stay but i get the impression the money has been spent in the wrong areas.
THE GOOD:
The common areas are fantastic. There are lots of good places to sit and socialise with lots of air conditioning keeping it at a good temperature.
Pool table and xbox one
Good location just off Fitzroy Street.
Bathrooms are excellent and kept very clean.
THE BAD:
kitchen - this could be put in either section, the the equipment and table are great for food preparation but there is one oven with 4 hobs for use for everyone in the hostel! This is less than I have at home and cooking can be an issue.
Bedrooms - triple bunks that are in average condition at best with pretty thin mattresses and no plug sockets available for most people. It did have aircon but placednin a stupid location firing at only one person so was turned off before 10pm.
Luggage - they charge 10 dollars per person to store your luggage after checkout which I think is very harsh.
Overall I was a bit confused, the place looks great but all it needed was a bit more money spent on the bedroom and kitchens to be an excellent hostel.
C. R.Nice clean hostel with three tier bunks in the dorm room. Lots of cosy little places to chill, free breakfast. Kitchen and fairly clean bathrooms. Just a bit weird that the staff will come hoover your dorm or want to talk to you after 10pm...
M. C.Accommodations are good, kitchen is great with coffee bar, clean, 24 hours reception. It was good to come back after 3 months and nice that Ellissa receptionist recognized me 😊 Great place. Don't worry ask them they are so helpful

H.Well... If you want to completely at home away from home in the best location in Melbourne, I would highly recommend Melbourne Hostel! Alizee has been beyond exceptional! Especially with her coffee! Feels good to be home!
A. R.Next to the CBD, to chapel street and the airport with the Skybus. The decoration is very beautiful, very clean and the staff is very nice. I stayed 1 month and a half and I marvellously started my adventure in australia thank you for all Danielle, Louise and all the others 😘

The hotel is well equipped, 3 private bathrooms, a shared bathroom (with hot water all the time), a well-equipped kitchen and a bicycle storage room.
The common areas are well decorated, there are lots of sofas and fatboys to chill out. There is also a ping pong table, and a pool table to pass the time!
The rooms are standard, The beds are ok. We may regret the lack of thermal insulation in the bedrooms and the poor distribution of electrical outlets. But sleeping in a cool room is good for your health! 😂
If I come back to Melbourne, I will surely stay here again!

J'ai passé un agréable séjour de plusieurs mois dans cet Hostel.
L'hôstel est bien équipé, 3 salles de bains privatives, une salle de bain commune (avec de l'eau chaude tout le temps), une cuisine bien équipée et un local vélo.
Les parties communes sont sont bien décorées, il y a beaucoup de canapés et de fatboys pour chiller. Il y a aussi une table de ping pong, et un billard pour passer le temps !
Les chambres sont standards, Les lits sont corrects. On regrettera peut-être le manque d'isolation thermique dans les chambres et la mauvaise répartition des prises électriques. Mais dormir dans une chambre fraîche est bon pour la santé ! 😂
Si je reviens sur Melbourne, je reviendrai sûrement ici !
Un jolie petit hostel avec un bon rapport qualité prix.
