We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage for a couple of nights and it was perfect. Our two little kids loved the place, specially Sydney and Anzac (the very friendly alpacas). Very clean, comfortable and tidy, lovely local produce for breakfast (delicious home made bread and fresh eggs!) and beautiful gardens to walk around. The whole place is quiet and peaceful, just a couple of minutes drive to a great cafe and lovely gardens. Also walking distance to a beautiful winery. We wish we stayed there longer. Thanks for your hospitality Andrew, you are a great host. We will definitely be back soon.

We stayed at the Gardner’s cottage. Loved the hospitality from Andrew, checking and taking care of all our needs. It’s a beautiful setup at the country retreat, love seeing the Alpacas and kangaroos over the fence. Amenities on offer are best in class. Would love to stay again. Home made bread and granola are an added bonus.

What a wonderful time our family had staying at the superb Braeside Mount Macedon. Andrew was the most welcoming and thoughtful host. On arrival we were greeted by Andrew and a freshly baked loaf of bread with homemade jam which was so yum! Andrew's other produce including his homemade granola and farm hen eggs were delicious. Every detail was accounted for which made the stay very special. The grounds of Braeside are incredible, boasting the most beautiful tree and flower displays as well as wildlife and birds. Sydney and Anzac the alpacas are such personalities and the perfect addition to the farm. Andrew willingly shared his wealth of knowledge of the local area and recommended the most lovely restaurants and activities to do which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Our two young boys enjoyed their stay so much that they want to move to Braeside. If you are considering taking a relaxing break in a stunning area of Victoria, I would recommend Braeside as the perfect choice. We will see you again, Andrew

The perfect escape to the country! We has a lovely weekend with friends at the larger cottage at Braeside. Andrew was an impeccable host going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. A picnic in the garden and meeting the alpacas was a highlight. Thanks for having us!

Purchased a gift voucher for my mother inlaws birthday, they absolutely loved their night away. Absolutely wonderful place to stay, the owners are lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast provisions are delightful with fresh eggs from the property's own hens. We're looking forward to our stay on our upcoming wedding night. 5 stars and highly recommended.

Perfect spot for a few nights away in The Macedon Ranges to soak up the stunning Autumn colours. Three cozy cottages well spaces for privacy, all well appointed and being quite cool it was wonderful to be greeted by a roaring log fire. The host Andrew could not be more welcoming or accommodating.

It started with the prompt confirmation email, personalized follow up and it just got better from there! Everything was great, the cottage, views, location, food and the service. Andrew is a fantastic host and made our stay extra special. We felt like we were at a very close friend's place, from the first minute. The cottage was very clean and cosy. All the linen,toiletries etc were carefully selected for the gests' comfort and surprise. The fridge was filled with fantastic produce. The bread that Andrew made was exceptionally good. Oh, we were so spoilt. We have ordered a picnic basket. It was way beyond our expectations. Andrew made so many unique treats, and packed them very carefully. We had a "picnic of our lives ". We have ordered the charcuterie board, which was also uniquely selected. We have enjoyed it to the max. Yes, we can't wait to go there soon.

We had an amazing weekend away at Andrew's place. The cabin was beautiful and full of thoughtful surprises, the breakfast was delicious with fresh local produce and the service could not be better. The property is quiet and well looked after and there was endless wood to keep the fire in the cabin going to keep us warm and cosy. I could not rate this place and Andrew's service highly enough.

Sensational accomodation and Andrew is a magician of a host. The cabins are very cosy and set amongst a beautiful natural backdrop teeming with wildlife- we saw beautiful birds, kangaroos and an echidna! With resident alpacas. Andrew is exceptional in his attention to detail and the care he takes to assist his guests. It’s hard to stay anywhere else now!

Very relaxing stay. Andrew contacted us before we arrived so that we had the lights on and fire going when we arrived. Beautiful cabin, but service and local knowledge from Andrew made the stay 5 star. Can't beat the homemade bread.

Amazingly friendly owner, super cozy little cottage with a fireplace, great breakfast consisting of a variety of local produce and a chance to walk around and meet the local farm animals and some of the wildlife. You can definitely see the effort that has been put in to make this feel so much more personal than the average accommodation
