Stayed here recently in a two bedroom room. Great location for the top end of town, Central Station shopping and Vic market. Room was fine, lounge area a bit small and a bit lacking in self catering stuff, but plenty of restaurants in the area. If driving here, as we did, there is next to no space on the street for dropping people off, had to double park just to let the family out, then negotiated the tight car park ramp down to the basement parking, the smaller the car the better! But all in all good, a handy spot and friendly staff at the hotel.

One bedroom apartment was roomy with good sized bathroom. Our apartment was a bit dark but this was an advantage at night. 2 televisions were an unexpected bonus. It was good to have a kitchen with microwave however there weren't any bowls …

Great place - Very clean. Superb location.
Friendly and accommodating staff.
The only negative is parking - no carpark access with lift for luggage, must park and unload luggage outside before going down to carpark which has narrow access.

Beautiful hotel with Garage, we are staying for 3 nights on May 12, 2017 here. Fed Square isn't not far away from hotel perfect :)
Best Regards

Return visit to this hotel. Had wonderful experience as the manager decided to upgrade the room from hotel to apartment as we requested the microwave. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The coffee and tea was prepared as usual. Spent 4 nights as had NY plan in Melbourne CBD.
The dining area was closed so outside food was easier for us. The request to the front house also easy.
The downside was about the charge. We got double charge. The manager said the 1st one was like "shadow charge" to ensure my account has enough fund. The 2nd one was the real charge. But unfortunatelly the 1st charge wasnt cleared until 5 days later. The argument was about holiday and weekend.
Anyway still we are happy with the service as long as the charge issue wont happen again.
Apology for no photo included, we were so occupied with outside hotel activities. :).
Hope 2022 bring us joy and happiness.

Very helpful staff and check in. Easy to get to hotel and good location, with most things within easy walking distance . Rooms were neat and tidy and had plenty of room for a family of 5.

Nice hotel, great location, just 2 minutes away from Victoria Market and trains. Friendly staff. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious! The only dissapointment was a view from the window to another wall.

Not crowded with lift use, friendly staff, reasonable sized rooms. Good price, would probably stay here again. Will need to see how the parking is next time, apparently it's $26 a night.

I spend the night here before my flight and the reception assist me really well. I can print out the important document, on time wake up call and on time taxi service. Really satisfied with the customer service.

Great place, and easy location within the city. Check in was 12:30pm and checkout at 1pm so I got to drop my bags off early and explore the city for lunch as well as sleep in and take my time packing when I had to leave. Competitive pricing so I found it cheap, clean, great! I should of taken photos before jumping into bed 🤣

I asked for tea towel and hand towel for our room. House keeping came had no idea what a hand towel was. When I explained that you go to toilet wash hands you need to dry them. She said we should use face washer. Why do you expect us to wash our face and dry our hands with the one cloth. She then said there are tissues if you don't want to do that, thin fall apart tissues. Sorry but how unhygienic even if out of covid times. Everywhere else I have stayed has allowed you to dry hands separately.
Tea cups were too small and by the time you placed a little bit of milk in, it turned it cold, a few mouthfuls and tea was gone
Otherwise a nice place to stay and the bed was extremely comfortable

Good rooms and staff and we enjoyed the stay.
Careful of the tight parking entrance in larger cars and 27$ a night fee is steep, especially as there is no lift up from the underground car park which makes it tough for people with luggage.
Otherwise, recommended 😁

Hotel is located in a good place within the city. Lygon Street, QVC, restaurants are all nearby.
Breakfast is good, however slightly limited.
Rooms are dated and old. The sink in our room did not drain correctly (very very slow).
the room was a bit small, especially having the sofa bed out.
The television is okay, however could be wall mounted.
However the worst thing is, the air conditioning did not work, therefore it was hot and humid overnight.
It's okay if you are staying the night.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in November. Was the best experience I've had in a hotel anywhere. Was very peaceful and clean. The breakfast had a variety of food options representing food customs from China, Japan, the USA, the islands, Italy and a few more countries due to varied guests staying in the hotel at the time. The front desk was a huge help both with directions and tips on things to do. Was also thankful to them for the great rates given to us whenever we needed to do a currency exchange especially compared to the neighboring banks. If looking for dinner and not looking to go out, I fully recommend the Alabama Slammer, honestly one of the best things I've tried while there.
Was disappointed they didn't offer a in-house pool for swimming but if you are interested in swimming you only have to walk about 5 minutes to and from to hit the pool at a neighboring hotel.
The Aldi food store is literally right around the corner- come out of the hotel and take a right then another right and you'll see it. The market is to your left as you are leaving the hotel. You can get a lot of your shopping done there and my favorite booth is Ben's and Amanda who run The Legendary Aussies. Great colognes and perfumes and little smell good packages. Ben is also an absolute sweetheart who has great recommendations on both the food stands there and best places to see while in Melbourne.
This hotel is literally smack dab in the best location for foodies and shoppers who like to have some peace and quiet as well.

Stayed one night in a two-bedroom apartment. Very friendly staff. Smooth check-in experience. Very impressed. Very spacious and clean. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Due to Covid we could not get the buffet breakfast but alternative was tasty. $27 for onsite parking (unlimited entries/exit). Would recommend. Would use again!!

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. Friendly service. Good clean room. Good value. Good location. Great if you just want a bed close to the cbd. Just getting a little outdated and could do with a facelift.

Comfortable hotel in a very good location. It is located between trams running on Swanston and Elizabeth Streets, with the latter being closer.
Hotel rooms are larger if you stay in an apartment. Beds are comfortable and service is excellent. Will be back to stay.

Great location, clean and functional rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Price was very reasonable.

From the outside this hotel appears old and dated. Step inside and it is anything but.
Modern, fun and comfortable foyer. It could do with a little more space, but it is suffice to for a low cost hotel.
Check in was see less and very pleasant, it is always nice being greeted as an Accor Le Club member.
Rooms are spacious, well maintained and renovated. The only setback was a few stains in the carpet, but that happens from time to time.
Wifi was fast and consistent. Phone reception worked throughout. Headed downstairs for breakfast and it was amazing also. Presentation of breakfast could be improved slightly. There were also a few tables that really needed to be cleaned but sat there for the duration of our breakfast.
Checkout was great and was even offered free luggage storage as we were flying out. Great property and would recommend it
