Nice hotel pub. Been there twice. Great large kids play area that they can run around whilst adults have a meal and a beer. Friendly staff and a good experience. Food was a good standard too. Great chips.

Josie greeted us (and all other customers) with a beautiful smile, such a lovely friendly person, her energy is contagious. All staff were so helpful, excellent customer service by all in there, just a lovely group of people! We had a small issue with one of our meals and the staff were instantly helping and made everything better. Great food, excellent customer service, definetly recommend this place.

I was here with my family to celebrate my niece's birthday . The bistro is quite spacious and my kids loved the playground . The staff is so friendly especially the blonde hair girl Emma she is a gun keep up the good work .The food was alright but the steak I ordered was over cooked and I hope they include more varieties in the menu . The bouncer who welcomed us at the front entrance is so polite and friendly even though he looks intimidating with his tattoos and massive muscles he is very down to earth but I wouldn't mess with him still 🤣 . Overall very good service .

The atmosphere is pleasant with a nice cage to keep the kiddies away from diners. The wait staff were very polite and attentive to our tables needs and requirements. They were always found easily rather than hiding away in the kitchen. The food was delightful and tasty. Variety was a little lacking though and some meals came out slower than the rest leaving two diners watching others eat as they waited (the reason for the 4 star instead of 5). Other than that, a wonderful place to take the family for a meal, a bet if they wish, and have a good time.

Wow guys truly thank you to all of you. Celebrated our Dad's 86th (sixteen of us) all meals were delicious and quickly rectified if one of our party didn't want sauce on the meal. A suburban pub that has everything you want at a suburban pub. Pretty good bistro with playground for kids n decent pub fare. A big sports bar for all your sports and racing needs. A pokies area. And pub priced drinks. Rough clientele, some shady cats around for sure, but a really decent pub for the area.

The waitress with blue hair ( sorry I do not know your name) is excellent at her job and an asset to your dining room. She is always doing something . moves fast and just gets stuff done. Promote her I say. I work hospitality myself and would hire her in an instant. Hospitality has a constant turnover of staff so when you manage to find someone with initiative , drive and a great work ethic, hang on to them. When you have a member of staff like her working on the floor it shows up how little the other staff do. You go blue haired girl!! On a negative note your bistro choice for desserts is dismal. 3 choices!! Buy/make your own cakes/slices/cheesecake. More choice= more profit.

Just like every other neighbourhood "Club"'s bistro. Food is relatively cheap, large serves, and pretty bland. Have had several meals here, and don't recommend the pizza. The beverages are decently priced and the staff are absolutely lovely. Great kids play area! Seniors menu is really nicely priced (and serves are still big).

Had a beautiful Mother's day lunch here. Our entrees came out almost immediately, which was great because they were delicious and it gave us time to enjoy them before our mains arrived. The staff were energetic, bright and were extremely helpful with their recommendations. They even gave us little cakes at the end of our meal, which was lovely of them, and they tasted amazing. Speaking of the food, our meals were wonderful, the portions were generous and our drinks were just as good. There was a performance, or rather, a singer, who my mother absolutely loved. The only criticism I would give is the performance unfortunately didn't last long, leaving us craving more. The atmosphere was lively, the environment looked and felt lovely too. Had an amazing time here with my amazing mother. 10/10 - would definitely recommend and I'm sure we'll be regulars here from now on. :)

Nice place to go for dinner on a raining night to entertaining young kids, and restaurant staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, those are the only good points about the place - food is average, hygiene is average and price is a bit high for the quality of food.

The Kealba Hotel is such a great venue.. They have very friendly staff, Great dining, Pokies, Sports bar and outside areas to socialise with friends and family.. They have just recently finished doing the revamp inside and it looks a million times better now compared to the old rundown look it had for so long. I would rate the place 5stars it unfortunately, being the area it is in - you never know when trouble may occur.. Luckily the security there is A class - so any negative situations that happen get dealt with almost instantly..

Maryanne and Kelly did such an outstanding job of managing our huge order on such a busy night. Everything ran seamlessly. The children had their meals before I'd finished placing the order!! Nice local pub with a big indoor play ground for kids, where they can play, run around and keep themselves busy. You can even request seating in front, so you can watch your kids through the windows. Wow this place is way better now than what it was prior to the restrictions. I ordered scotch fillet surf turf with veges and mash. I also wanted prawns and in the past I would have had to order a meal to get prawns however this time I was able to get a side dish (prawns, scallop and crab) in a garlic based sauce which I drank...sooo yummy. I would like to thank Elona (hope I got the spelling right) as it was she who took my order and had the patience to bear with me as I was trying to explain my prawn issue. My first time EVER eating everything. In the past whatever I wanted with my meal (veges, fries or salad) the plate came chocka with that and not a whole heap of anything else. Now the portions are just right. Adding to that customer service is top notch. Everyone is friendly, attentive, efficient. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed and prices are reasonable. Whatever the reason for the change Kealba it is a positive change.Most definitely a place to take yourself, family friends. Thank you Kealba.

Staff are friendly and energetic. Had the calamari; calamari was cooked to perfection. Not at all rubbery. Chips and salad portions weren't over the top like most places are. Serving size was just right.

I was passing through in my travels last night with my family and we stopped here for a meal. I found the staff to be very pleasant to communicate with and were quite attentive making sure tables were cleared and wiped down quickly after patrons had left. I also observed service staff checking meals before they left the pass making sure the meals were correct and plates were smudge free. All our meals were reasonably priced and seasons to perfection with the steak cooked perfectly to order. Thay also tasted lovely and service was really quick. Maybe a little too quick as we had not quite finished our entrées which left us feeling a little rushed. On a negative:- the meals although brought to the table hot went cold rather quickly and the restaurant restrooms needed a bit of attention. Overall a lovely dining experience for us and my family and I would definitely dine here again in the future. Sincerely Kristine

My family has been several times this year. The food was excellent, plain but cooked with care. The steak for four people ( including our 2 recent guests from Switzerland) ,cooked to individual liking. The pokies and Sports Bar are in another area so you don't have to see the gamblers therefore this is an excellent place for a family on a week night. The children's menu has enough variety to suit most kids. The playground is a sectioned off area so you can watch them playing whilst you are sitting at your table. It is well designed with climbing sections with a bridges and tube slides for the kids to wear themselves out and is very safe. The person commenting on "when you are not getting shot at" made a ridiculous and ignorant comment.

Attended mother's day lunch. Took 2 hours to receive our meals and the service was extremely poor considering the meals are not cheap. When I went to complain to the venue manager there was no apology or understanding of the matter and in fact was argumentative. The bar staff were unenthusiastic and oh by the way, don't order the salmon, it came out raw.

Had lunch at the Kealba on Friday, great venue, had Grilled Fish and Chips and it was superb. Staff are friendly and they have that Diamond Rewards membership which is good too. Noticed they have huge play area for kids so I will be back with the grand-kids!
