I just came back from a 6 night stay and totally enjoyed my time at the hotel. The service was exceptional and I even received a welcome gift to my room of a bottle of bubbly and a piece of cake, such a lovely thought. The room was new and spacious, and so clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee was perfect.
The infinity pool was amazing and the water is slightly heated, and finishing the day with a cocktail at the sunset bar, watching the sunset was great. I’ll definitely be back.

Best sleep I’ve had in a long time - incredibly comfortable bed and exceptionally clean room. The rooftop infinity pool is a highlight. Despite what you will read in the reviews of others, we had a great time, found space to swim, relax and make new friends whilst up there. Lovely views out to the ocean and a lovely warm jacuzzi. Impressive gym with lots of dumbbells which is always a plus. Sunset bar was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Easy to get to/from by tram and is part of the free tram zone. We had a great time and will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Nice facilities but the little touches made this a great stay. Complimentary drink on arrival was a nice touch. Our room wasn’t ready straight away but staff let us up to use the pool and then even brought our room keys up to us once it was all ready. Food at sunset house was delicious. Overall a really pleasant stay!

Stayed here recently during school holidays, shortly after the hotel's opening. Very friendly and efficient customer service, the self-parking option is great, but make sure you know District Docklands East or West car-parks first. Rooms are very nice, but we all found the beds rock hard - we still managed to sleep in, but we were all sore. The rooftop heated swimming pool makes it a fun experience - beware the pool is pretty small and shallow. The spa is lovely - quite hot. Drinks strictly at the pool bar, can't take them on deck, sadly. Breakfast buffet is very nice - coffees a bit on the small side, I felt, but limitless. You can order omelettes or custom-made eggs - we weren't told this, until we hear someone else ordering. Lots of fun. I think it's nice to try, if only once and for the rooftop infinity pool, but there are better luxury hotels in better locations. Definitely do try.

My partner and i stayed at Marriott over New Year's break ad we absolutely loved our stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, the staff was polite and responsive. The view from Sunset House their rooftop bar is amazing. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this fantastic property!

Very new hotel walking distance to the shopping area.
Comfy rooms with sizeable TV and bathroom. A minus is no tub for bubble bath!
The infinity pool at the top is a feature and the gym is fully equipped for the exercise nut. There’s also a sauna - in separate male and female changing room. Great after a swim or workout.
Had breakfast included in the stay. Good spread of breakfast items hot and cold. Good coffee and tea served as well. Ambience of the restaurant is good, suitable for family as well. Service was great.

Stayed with family during last week. From check in till check out it was a wonderful experience. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was very attentive at all times. Experienced most of the outlets including pool bar which had amazing views in the evening. Ordered room service and it was quick and efficient and breakfast at Archers was a treat. OVERALL a great experience and would highly recommend Marriott Docklands and would be coming back soon.

Stayed with my mum for a girls weekend and we were super excited, especially because we knew it was only two weeks old. The foyer is small but beautiful. The check in process took a bit of time, but understandable considering the staff are still all learning. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 3, so we were given free champagne and sparkling water and waited in the foyer bar which was lovely. We checked again 40 minutes later and the room was ready.
We booked a larger room, with two double beds and “city views”. The room was amazing, huge entrance and plenty of space. The bathroom was ridiculously big, counter space as big as a kitchen island. Shower was perfect, hot and had two options for shower heads. We were a little disappointed by the “city views”, it was really just a straight view to the car park across from the hotel. We could see a couple other buildings but really not much. I understand considering the location there aren’t crazy beautiful views, but I felt like considering we paid for “city views”, it was a little disappointing. We also noticed we didn’t get supplied with robes in our room, unlike all the other guests. We had to tell the housekeeper leaving that we didn’t get them, and we didn’t take them.
The pool was lovely and we were lucky to have two great weather days to enjoy the area. It is pretty small considering the size of the hotel. Getting a chair is hard and many guests just have to put their towel on the floor. The spa is perfect, and the pool is lovely and pretty warm. There was no food or drinks allowed in the area which was disappointing because we would’ve loved to have had a drink as we sat out there. The gorgeous sunset house is next to the pool, and the potential is there, but this might be something for the future (we do understand things are still being sorted out in the first few weeks).
The sunset house stays open late and my friend and I had a lovely cocktail up there late at night. The staff were amazing and our waiter had amazing conversational skills. They were extremely willing to adapt and cater to our drink needs. The cocktail list is short but they seem very capable of doing the classics if requested.

Loved our stay. The Marriott Docklands is now the equal of the new Marriotts in places like Bangkok (Marquis) and Manila (Airport). Rooms were lovely with all modern conveniences expected. Pool is small but love the view. Lounge was comfortable and staff were delightful. We'll be back!

Love this hotel that’s just opened few months posts covid19. Having my great time here especially get to meet Caesar from Peru, Mariana form Columbia and Jacob from Australia! Excellent service from them during my 11 days stay at this hotel. Despite I need to be quarantine for 3 days, they made effort to deliver my breakfast and snacks before dinner. Some hiccup of the housekeeping in term of attentiveness that I have to ask for 2-3 times for my toiletries to be replaced , drinks to be replenished and coffee capsule too. One day the trash left inside my room when I return. The archer restaurant was great with cook to order style on some days. Enjoyed the lounge at 3 floor for free flow of wine, drinks and snakes from 5pm. The view I have may not be fantastic but it was very comfortable to stay here . Miss using the gym and the infinity pool at roof level. Will come again.. thanks for your hospitality!

Stayed one night on a brief staycation. Even for one night, we loved our stay. Our hotel room was clean, although there were signs that the room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly (found a false eyelash and hair pin on the floor), but I am willing to forgive this oversight. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. We spent a fair bit of time in the infinity pool. Most of the time we were there, the pool was relatively free of people. Even at 11am on a Sunday, we had the pool mostly to ourselves for a good hour or two. I really like that the hotel indicates the times during which the pool attendance tends to peak. We were mindful of that and managed to get quality time in the pool to ourselves by following the hotel's guidance on peak hours. The pool is not as small as some of the reviews make it out to be, but it is certainly not a lap pool. The adjacent spa is also divine. We spent some time in the M Club lounge which was also nice and modern. The fridge is always well-stocked. The outside terrace is also a really nice space. We had pre-dinner canapes there and there was a decent selection of food. The breakfast buffet is not too bad. There is a lady who can make eggs whichever way you like (except for fancy eggs like an eggs benny). Lastly, check-in and check-out was easy and breezy. Thanks for having us!

Priska & Evan stood out to me and ensured our stay was perfect from start to finish. They both went above and beyond to ensure my partner and I felt welcome and comfortable. overall amazing hotel, food, drinks and stay. Would recommend and return :)

I came for the pool and it lived up. Loved the views from the pool, good temperate and the spa next to it was very relaxing. Room was good, shower very modern and the shower and toiletries provided was on point.
Been a 5 star hotel I would have expected Foxtel and rooms seem to be not ready at 3pm per check in but at least they let me use the pool while I waited

Check in, took half an hour because of the long queue.
Room is very new, more business executive than homey holidays.
Glass windows need cleaning.
Quilt separates from the quilt cover, not tucked tight.
Clean and new mostly.
I don't like that there is a sliding window that opens the bed to the shower/toilet.
Shower/toilet good too. Basic toiletries good quality.
Block out curtains work great.
Bath towels are nice and clean but small-ish.
No aircon in the hallways
Infinity pool in the rooftop has great view. But smaller than appears in photos. The floor of the deck is slippery.
Breakfast was okay, not too great with the savory options although plenty of fruits and carbs.
Staff was great.
Cheap parking across the street.
Plenty of food options at The District.

5/5 for this gem of a place!
From the moment I entered and greeted by the gentleman insisting on taking my bags to my check in experience and the quality of facilities throughout. Would highly recommend this hotel. The pool is awesome, something different offered to visitors than a typical pool, the fit out for the hotel is Devine and cleanliness is impossible to fault. Can’t wait to have the opportunity to stay as marriot bonvoy has a member for life after now several stays - cannot fault.

We stayed this weekend our stay was ok if it wasn’t for the staff I’m thinking maybe 2 Stars the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Only problem we had with our room was the pillows we asked for harder pillows and were given same pillows that were to soft, other than that room was good.
The pool was a great inclusion BUT I don’t think it is suitable for the children the spa was used as a kids pool with parents not giving a dam about their kids swimming in spa while the other adults where trying to enjoy the spa (kids not problem of hotel understand )I feel staff need to be seen and advise parents that the pool area is not a play ground there are other patrons staying that would like to enjoy the ambiance of the infinity pool.
The lifts where so confusing we got stuck a few times and weren’t the only patrons, 1 lady we met in lift was a little upset as she had been in lift thinking she was pushing correct button only to find it wasn’t she was getting anxious we had to ask a maintenance worker why we opened on a floor that opened at a electrical circuit board, he told us we weren’t the only ones this happened to Photo Provided
Now for the NO STARS
We booked in for 3 nights when they asked for another $300 as a holding fee when we asked why and where this was in booking,we were told in Marriot booking website.
We have looked and have not found it.
We had stayed at the Midnight Marriot hotel in Canberra over News Years eve and we didn’t pay a holding fee we stayed there for 5 nights.
Would we stay again YES it’s only a new hotel with smart management looking at reviews ,they-hopefully will fix a few faults.Look forward to next stay to see.

We stayed at Marriott Docklands recently. Check in was a breeze and service was great. Luggages were sent to the room while we checked in.
The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Beds were firm and pillows were soft and quite comfortable.
The infinity pool was smaller than the pities shown on hotel website (angles). It is outdoor, heated with a small jacuzzi-type area on one end and another baby/toddler area on the other.
The main pool area itself was shallow, hardly 1m deep but kids had lots of fun.
The gym was great. The latest treadmills, bikes, few weights and resistance equipments and small weight; accessible 24 hours. There was also a sauna (24 hrs as well) and a bar.
Buffet breakfast was average. They had the normal big breakfast selection (bacon, eggs, mushrooms, potato gems, sausages etc), various types of bread and jams, fresh fruits, various yogurt/muesli/fruit combinations, cold meat and cheese, pancakes and waffles, danishes snd croissants.
Dinner at Archer’s was amazing. The place is modern, great food and good selection of wines. The menu changes seasonally. We ended up having duck and lamb as main, oysters and the kingfish ceviche for entre.
For dessert, we had the Christmas pudding, cheese selection and berry cheesecake. Amazing!
Again, service was great, friendly without being overbearing or pushy. Will be back for dinner!
If there is anything we wished they would improve, it would be:
- The elevator buttons were confusing and the tray service fees should be included in the meal.
Thanks Imogen for the chocolates 👍

This rating is prior to our family actually staying in the hotel. This rating is for the customer service already provided by Tatiana for our upcoming stay and accommodating my families requests. Let's hope the rest of the hotel staff are as professional, helpful and friendly as Tatiana.

The Marriott Docklands has been open just 7 days. This review is for Ada’s Bar. The wonderful Mixologist ‘’Tamay’ made us 2 beautiful cocktails. The bar area is beautiful. All staff were super friendly and welcoming. We look forward to visiting the restaurant.
