j. h.This place is the only pub in Moyu. It's also super popular so you generally have to book to get in. I really enjoyed the meal and sitting outside was a lovely experience.
The staff were a bit inexperienced but genuinely tried hard so overall I would give them a big thumbs up. One of the girls saw me shoo away a mosquito and she offered to get me some insect repellent.
Real country hospitality here. Bring the family.
F. E.Wonderful, warm welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. The gravy was delicious, the Thai Beef was authentic, the Pub Pie was beautiful!
K. M.Well we decided to travel from Benalla to this little pub as we pick a pub around benalla every month and thought the place had promise. I was a little concerned looking at the menu online had a lot of selections for a remote pub. I was amazed how cute the town main street was. I found the pub to be very appealing. It had picnic tables roadside under grape vines growing along the veranda and to the right was a great little beer garden which could have been any beer garden in bavaria. The waiter was the owner and she really knew how to make people welcome. The meals weren't pub meals but what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel in Melbourne. We were blown away by the quality of the meals served. We stayed about 3 hours in the beer garden. Lucky for us the chef joined us briefly and explained everything is made from scratch and everything is sourced local.. Even the fish. The pub is owned by a family also running a winery and we tried their wine and liked it so much we bought a dozen bottles for home. Boy!! You should put this pub on your favorite list at number 1..its that good.

B. S.This little Country Hotel is well worth a visit. Friendly staff make you feel welcome and their Restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday.
The Restaurant offers up a great menu, the dishes on offer were of excellent quality and quantity and all reasonably priced. The wine list was fairly comprehensive and had a good selection of local wines.
The $20.00 Parma and Pot night was great value and resulted in a return visit from us.
Highly recommended and deserving of its Five Star 🌟 rating.

We each had the red braised pork belly with pineapple salsa entree and then shared the garden salad and the wedges. We couldn't finish the wedges, as there were too many for us. Very tasty food and we'd definitely visit again.

S. D.What a great surprise! The best food to be found in any pub by a long shot. Glen and Melissa run a great bar and dining room and their wines are delicious too. A limited number of rooms out the back for people to stay and beautiful clean bathrooms.

A. R.Good little country pub. Main bar and resturant are seperate which is good (resturant has its own bar) and the staff were quite friendly.
Food was pretty good and the size was big. Had a parma and a seafood basket which were made with good quality ingredients. Desert was a chocolate and raspberry pudding (though the raspberry was not listed as an ingredient). If I had to be picky, the napoli sauce in the parma was a little sweet for me.
Being in a wine region the pub also offers a good range of wine and craft beer.
M. B.Awesome husband and wife team Glenn and Melissa Merkel are now running this revamped local haunt together - food and service are both excellent. There's a great local wine selection. It's also the Cellar door for Merkel Wines. Lovely accommodation option as well if you are exploring the area.
J. B.We went for dinner on Wednesday night which was Parma night. The parmas were delicious and the chips were the best I’ve had in a long time. We had sticky date puddings for dessert and they were also lovely. The service was friendly and efficient.
