First time I have been to an art hotel . Unique experience . Stayed in the “go go” rooms . Very small rooms but beds were comfortable . The room had good electric blinds which sealed the light out for a good rest. Unlimited mini bar top ups . Unfortunately I did not get to eat at their restaurant Lona Misa because it was full . Well located and across there are lovely places such as yugen tea bar and capitol grand . I had a free breakfast which was healthy and mostly vegetarian . The staff were generally friendly and attentive

Wow wow wow!!! I stayed for 2 nights and I can not rate my experience high enough!!! From the moment I checked in to check out this stay was everything I was hoping for and more!! The staff are amazing and the hotel is fabulous! I stayed with my puppy and they treated her like a total supawstar. This hotel is a must stay for anyone who is travelling with their 4 leg baby.

Brilliant Location fabulous staff who are genuinely interested in guests needs, very funky rooms and a choice of standards complimentary mini bar and luxurious bathrooms. The restaurant down stairs "Lona Misa" has a fabulous decor and the menu which is Vegan was superb, safe carparking only a two minute walk away. I highly recommend Ovolo South Yarra.

Love the retro fit out of the hotel and the rooms, although tiny are well planned. The social hour drinks have been replaced by un-social drinks served to your room (thanks covid). The staff are warm and friendly although this was my 2nd stay in less than 7 weeks yet there was no recognition, or a welcome back Sara, which was a little disappointing. The saddest part was that my husband and I couldn't use the pool table downstairs for a couple of games - we assume this is because they have to then clean and sterilize the equipment, still it was a shame. The inclusive breakfast was small and only 3 items from the menu were available. Actually the last time we stayed and had to eat breakfast in our room there was a more generous breakfast with pastries and fruit included. Overall an enjoyable stay.

We really really enjoyed our stay here!! Staff were friendly, the hotel had a really groovy vibe, and for the price, it was super generous! Heaps of freebies, good location, comfy bed, and a lot of fun! Would stay here again for sure 🕺🏿

Many thanks to Pip and Rosie for hosting. The room was quirky and cultured. The beds were ultra comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and luxurious. Close to city, close to great restaurants and a real community feel of South Yarra. I cannot wait to return and have told my family and friends Ovolo is the place to sta.

I loved my stay at the Ovolo South Yarra. It was one of those experiences that makes a lasting impression. Customer Service was excellent from the first moment we stepped foot into the hotel. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. It's a beautiful hotel and we loved our suite so much. Comfy bed, free snacks, minibar, and huge bathroom-I could go on and on. We also ate at the restaurant on the ground floor (Lona Misa) and the food was delish! I can't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be returning.

Wonderful boutique hotel ! We were lucky enough to stay in 2 different styles of room from the smaller compact room to the rock star suite !! Both have stunning fittings and super comfortable beds , the suite is definitely my pick , the bathroom is large with a supersize shower! and extra space in the living room is perfect if you are spending more time in your room. The staff are so incredibly friendly and absolutely love their new hotel. We will definitely return 😊

Lona Misa at Ovolo is simply stunning. Vegan 5 star fine dining does not get any better than this. The overall experience was top shelf. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a warm and welcoming member of staff and the service never faltered from that moment. The menu at Mono Lisa has been created by arguably Australia's best vegan chef - Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters, Smith & Deli). Completely vegan with vegetarian options, Shannon has delighted the menu with Spanish nuances and succeeded brilliantly. I tried most of the menu and did not stop being blown away all night. Complimenting the menu is a master-class of a cocktail menu. I need to add that the fit out of Mona Lisa is absolutely stunning too. I felt like I was in a fine dining restaurant from the 1940's. There truly is nothing bad I could say about Lona Misa. 11/10.

Stayed at ovolo for our anniversary and it was amazing. Arrived early and were able to get into our room straight away. Greg on the front desk is amazing. The lowlight was getting woken up at 3 am and being told to evacuate by a fire alarm which turned out to be a false alarm. Super dissapointed, we literally had one night away from our kids and got woken up regardless. I understand these things happen but when we questioned it at reception the next morning we were met with a simple sorry. Not really good enough, some sort of compensation would have been appreciated. Besides that it was amazing.

This is the best place I have ever stayed and I travel a lot domestic and international It is spotless the rooms are amazing the beds so comfy everything is push button the housemaids are amazing and free Mini bar and the whole staff are amazing and so chilled and happy they go above and beyond they become your friends even the night staff there’s social hour with free wine and a laundry washers and dryers are free even free washing powder Also free breakfast and the boys in the restaurant are a delight to see every morning food is yummy and the service is 2nd to none And the music so awsome so is the art work the location is great with many fine restaurants close by and trams and trains I can’t wait to stay there again I recommend this to everyone you will not be disappointed and for a special treat you can stay in the Sony and Cher room I will next time
