My husband and I stayed at this hotel as we were on a surf trip to UrbanSurf for three days, two nights. The location was great, about $14 per trip to hotel and back. I cannot fault the hotel itself, it was very clean and the room was better than we expected. Bathroom and bedroom were very clean and bed was very comfy.
Our trip was purely surf based, I would recommend this hotel and we would probably stay here again in the near future. We also were upgraded to a higher level, very pleased.

Great spot, food til late and polite staff.
Great if you need to be close for flights the next day, only a small walk from the terminals over footbridges. Views over airport good too.
I. T.
Staff were fantastic... Room was nice and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good. Unfortunately the quality of the food of my room service order was well below average and disappointing.
L. J.
Pleasant stay at this hotel, nice staff. One thing you want to make sure if your ordering room service is to follow up coz they may have forgotten to jot it down.
A. W.
Rooms are nice. Staff are nice at desk BUT it always surprises me on the service here in Aust. After 30Hours of travel from London I called the “in room dining” for a meal, admittedly it was 10:50pm and they were shutting at 11:00pm, I asked if they were still serving.. reply was a very gruff “yes but you better Hurry-up”… ahhh yes I’m ready now. I have never experienced that anywhere else in the world, only here. And I ordered a curry which is probably pre cooked anyway! I’ll press send on this after I get my meal! Haha OMG.

We booked so we could catch the ferry to Tasmania after driving 10 hours. We specifically wanted a hotel with a pool so our kids could play after riding in car all day.
Unfortunately when we arrived we were told the pool was not
working due to parts issue. Wish we would have known sooner.
Hotel is ok clean. Not 4star quality. Beds do have nice sheets. But only 3 pillows per room. Bathroom is good, but some sloppy repair jobs were clearly done. (messy tile and grout job in shower)
Parking is a pain, with having to leave the parking garage and drive back around in a circle to park in short term parking and we have to pay $40. Not a problem if you are carless.
Gym is nice. With dumbell free weights and some machines. Plenty of cardio equipment, multiple treadmills, a spinn type bike and a few other bikes and a concept 2 rower (needs the chain to be adjusted but works good still).
Has some ballrooms and meeting rooms would be good for a conference.
Would stay again if needed to fly out quickly as it is connected to airport.

A well established business with rooms & an array of hire car facilities on the ground level, plenty of parking toilets & paystations are on site. If your travelling from interstate or abroad we definitely recommend you visit the establishment, just a note to either book your rooms or hire cars well in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Park Royal has got to be the number one choice of places to stay near Melbourne Airport, especially for those with an early flight out, or late flight in. It’s an easy five minute walk across a covered sky bridge to the terminal.
As a black Discovery member I was upgraded to a deluxe room and given a bottle of red wine as a welcome amenity. Our room was of ample size, comfortably furnished and offered great views of the airport runway and the townships and countryside beyond. The bathroom, with separate shower and bath tub had plenty of space for toiletries and hanging towels and robes etc.
All members of staff we met were welcoming and friendly. Pre-stay emails were answered promptly and all requests granted.
Of all the hotels to return to, after months of lockdown, this was a great choice. Just being able to relax in a nice little armchair, complete with ottoman, wearing a comfy bathrobe and watching planes landing and taking off was terrific.

Great location and fantastic room. There was a hot water issue so I had to take a cold shower but hopefully they will get it fixed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Tasted like they burnt the butter on the toast and that came through on the spinach.
G. E.
great hotel right at the airport. good bar too. perfect when you have an early morning flight
R. I.
Parking operator's are very nice and they tru to understand the problems patiently. They dont tru to rush and comes to a conclusion swiftly. Typical waiting times are ten to 30 seconds maximum.
R. R.
My mother spent 4 nights here before flying into Adelaide and and I was coordinating everything via the phone. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. They took good care of my mom and dropped her at back the airport safely.
I cannot recall all the names but Gayan and Missaka or Tissaka (unsure of the name) are a few people who were very supportive.
If your family needs a quick stop in Melbourne before a transit, I would highly recommend this hotel!
Thank you team 😊
L. W.
Awesome place to stay to transition to the airport for your early morning or late at night flights. Service was great, wine cold and beds comfortable.
M. S.
Great room, fantastic staff. Some minor issues related to low occupancy due to covid19. I look forward to staying here again.
s. h.
The man at reception is amazing. So accommodating, lovely and pleasant, I wish I had remembered his name.
K. R.
It's very good, didn't hear flights when I was in the room
C. A.
Large room, clean with plenty of amenities at a decent price.
G. M.
Twas great to tullermairne again in such a longtime 😎😎 and to see our 2 beautiful girls from QLD 🌞🌞 it's been way to long 💐

This is my second quarantine in Melbourne. Day one at Park Royal, dinner was great. Room is spacious. It's a good start. Cant find the TV remote. Will call the receptionist in the morning. My first quarantine is at the M€r@#r€ Hotel in the CBD. What a terrible experience.
K. G.
We stayed for quarantine. The double king room was spacious and light, a little dated. The windowsill seemed to have been missed in the cleaning. The coffee tsbke veneer was peeling and the couch had no spring, needs replacing in terms of comfort. The beds are ok and the service was very helpful and nice. We are spending a LOT of time in the room which i suspect visitors in normal times would not usually.
F. M.
Ours was a last minute stay here due to missing a connecting flight. The location is fantastic with relation to the airport. The staff could not not have been more friendly and helpful and the room was neat, tidy, clean and had a great mattress on the king size bed.
H. J.
First visit to the ParkRoyal and we would certainly stay here again. The close proximity to the airport arrivals/departure lounges was brilliant (only a couple of hundred metres). The rooms were clean and tidy and everything worked as it should. The big picture window in our room was impressive even though we only had a view over a multi storey car park, but that was okay. The rack of lamb meals we had in the restaurant were brilliant and the best we've tasted anywhere. All the staff were helpful and cheerful and really made us welcome and check in/out was quick and easy. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
J. E.
You are absolutely paying for the location here, which I will add is fantastic. I found the rooms to be well kept, but bland and for the money and not worth it. A real lack of USB ports in key places through the rooms was a big turn off for those who like to stay easily connected. They need an upgrade in this department. They did lack the polish of many other hotels that charge similar or lower. For the fitness orientated the fitness area and pool was one of the better ones I have seen for the overall price.
S. J.
Staff very accommodating after our flight was cancelled. Pool and spa open late which was great! Room service very prompt and staff vy attentive when we needed extra milk. A lovely hotel! Esp loved the early wake up call
S. A.
Excellent accommodation. Beautiful and clean. We had a awesome view of the airport and the planes landing and taking off. Couldn't not hear the planes which was awesome - great insulation! Included a buffet breakfast which was really good and yummy! Had a stuff up with flights and this was super convenient for us to catch a plane the next day. Would highly recommend.
L. F.
Great location , clean , comfy, service slack
T.
Great service at reception and the bar. Very handy for the airport. If you have an early morning flight, super easy to get out of bed and walk across the bridge to the airport. Took me 20 minutes from room to gate, can’t say that it is always like that though) rooms are looking a bit dated and scruffy, could do with an upgrade.
g. s.
Great hotel. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and cozy. I am so happy about the accommodation and has a nice view of the airport. Thank you for your excellent service.
M. M.
All amenities are fabulous...When they're available.
Brilliant little movie showings last Christmas holidays. Some check in staff didn't pass on tickets so was a little confusing first time.
All staff are extremely friendly and willing to help, there's just not 100% communication between all departments, or possibly management team.
8 stays in 3 years and same rooms still have cupboard hinges hanging off etc. Please see your maintenance team address this asap as it is quite a safety issue, especially as these are the rooms you market for families.
B. N.
Excellent hotel to transit at. Check in and out efficient and fast. Free WiFi. Breakfast starts at 6 to 11am - good length, tasty but coffee machine needs improving. All staff very friendly helpful and informative. Room is very clean with great views of the airport (ask for rooms facing airport) very quiet, light cancelling shades room becomes dark for a good sleep. Dinner is excellent with great wine selection. Desserts are delicious. Must stay pending budget and time.
O. H.
Great service, friendly staff, comfy bed and amazing breakfast.
E. H.
Ok if you're passing through. The food is overpriced however the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Safest access is from the airport and across the crossing, rather than carpark stairs or lift if you're travelling on your own. Conference set up is fine, coffee has room for improvement. If you have time, catch the shuttle bus from the airport to the city it runs 24/7 or did at the time of this review.
B. B.
Came here after our wedding to save us time for our flight for the next morning. Front desk staff was professional and we'll mannered. Even gave us free breakfast because it was our special day well done. Rooms are spacious and are kept very well clean would recommend 10/10 for business stays and transit stops.
L. S.
While it was lovely and comfortable, they didn't provide the breakfast that I preordered and when I asked about it when I checked out, they told me it was too late to do anything. They never told me what to do during check-in and didn't confirm it even though I had paid for it in full. Very disappointed
T. N.
Nice and spacious. Plenty of car parking slots.
A. K.
Enjoyed our 1 night stay. Arrived late evening, from arrival to hotel lobby took less than 20 minutes. Room with tarmac view was great for the kid. Hardly any noise from traffic or planes. Room service food was better than expected - had the club sandwich and items from the children's menu. Room and bed were comfortable. Car rental services are located in the same building, very convenient.
D. K.
This hotel used to be great. Now the rooms are really tired. Carpet is ripped in the room and one of the legs on our bed kept falling off. Signage to the carpel is not clear. We also had room service delivered. Food was OK but the person that delivered it was sniffling the whole time - she clearly had a cold and shouldn’t be handling food.
It could be much better with some more TLC by management
J. A.
A bit expensive, needs touch ups, and sightly dated.
Breakfast is OK.
Beds are comfortable enough.
Location is good for a quick stopover straight across from the airport - in at 11pm and out on the 7am flight, but if you have 12+ hours there are better options for less money with complimentary shuttle buses that are a bit more 'fresh'.
L. Y.
Fabulous for my accidental stop over and treat. But the fridge wasn't working when I entered so nothing was cold but they quickly fixed it. All the amenities of the old fashioned Motel including breakfast to your room. I loved it & would do it again anytime.
L.
Parkroyal is brilliant if you have an early flight out or late arrival and like me have a long drive from or to home. It's comfortable and has everything you need and I love being on the runway side and watching the fine tuned workings of the airport. The down sides are that it can be noisy (grab a room not on the runway side), both from outside and inside. The rooms are looking a bit tired and not as clean as they could be. All that said I keep staying here when needed. The staff are welcoming too. Again though, all that said I'm not sure it's value for money.
S. T.
We spent a night at the hotel in between flight transfer. Great location if you need to stay at the vicinity of the airport, just few meters away from the departures.
The reception was very friendly and they even upgraded our room. We got a room at the 9th floor. The room was clean, ample and with plenty of light. Furniture was a bit old fashioned without any design wow factor.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable !
Also, Blackout curtains did an amazing job keeping the daylight out!
There was some noise from the airport (unavoidably) as well as from the floor. We could hear people coughing from rooms nearby which was a bit unpleasant.
A good selection of tea was provided as well as filter coffee. No espresso though.
Basic amenities were provided but neither cotton buds nor shaving kit.
In terms of facilities, there is a well equipped fitness room, an indoor swimming pool as well as sauna and steam room.
All in all, a decent hotel if you have to overnight at the airport but considerably overpriced for what it offers.
M.
Good place to transit overnight. Nice amenities, some beds better than others, clean and quiet. Excellent location as across road from airport terminal. Dinner pricy but good and large portions, cocktails could be better.
P.
First class hotel, good food.
M. A.
Well appointed. Mattress a bit tired but otherwise great room views and tasteful deco. Very convenient covered footbridge to airport terminal which was perfect when I arrived in heavy rain!
A. L.
When you check-in, you'll be asked for your credit card to hold $100 for snacks and others. I don't really like it since the bank will take about 7-10 days to get it release back to you.
My room was huge for a couple staying together, equipped with a office area beside the TV stand. When you walk in, you'll notice the snacks area with a small note saying there's a sensor and if you take it, it'll registered and you have to pay for it. I asked the reception, it'll take about 10 secs but you should ask them again, just in case.
If you're looking for the Dilmah teas (Sencha green, original, green) and Moccona coffees (decaffeinated and regular), they are placed in the wardrobe, on top of the safe where the bathrobe is located too. A better quality than the average hotel.
The TV has movies to watch for free from relatively new to quite new movies. If you're isolated in the room, it should keep you entertain for a while.
The only thing I was annoyed is at the bed sides, there isn't any additional outlets for charging your phone or laptop or other devices when you're sleeping or using on bed. Be careful when you sitting up while laying back on the bed because the bed was easily moved and I couldn't be bother to check whether the stop was pressed down on the wheels.
The bathroom is quite standard equipped with bathtub, shower room and 2 sinks for couple or family. The complimentary shampoos are better than average hotel. If you're looking for a dryer, is at the wardrobe where the safe is.
The shower room is fine but I notice a few spots where could use a scrubbing or spray the mold removal.
All in all, I had a good stay and recommend anyone who need to stay close to airport.
D. W.
Our nights stay was good. Made it really easy for our morning flight. Room service was great and delivered within the estimated time frame. The kids loved watching the planes take off and land from our runway view room.
T. M.
We've stayed here before but this time we booked a family room and we were very happy to have all the extra space for a night before we headed overseas early in the morning. Rooms are always clean and tidy. My room was a reasonable size, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very helpful courteous.
R. K.
Great location for a stop over accommodation hotel. Literally on the doorstep of the Melbourne airport arrivals terminal it has spacious rooms, good restaurants , and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had views of the incoming planes on the runways which as a novelty , was interesting however you could also pull down the blackout curtain and then you did not hear or see anything . Great if your trying to sleep at daytime.
M. G.
I have stayed here on multiple occasions assisting my wife to go to meetings here. Their accessible rooms are excellent, as is their general access (aside from the ubiquitous spongy carpets that hotels seem to like). They have great service, excellent restaurant (pricy but with food quality matching the price) and the conference floor works really well.
T. M.
The place is very convinient and accessible direct from the airport (5 mins walk) and just above various car rentals parking lot/office. Gym/pool are very relaxing and a very good breakfast spread. Have stayed for quite a few times already. Recommendable.
M. B.
The room is a little dated but a reasonable size, the location is very convenient for the airport and the fitness facilities are good.
The one thing that really lets the hotel down is a significant lack of insulation. You actually have to turn the volume of the tv up to hear it over the sound of planes taking off and landing.
I’ve stayed at many hotels next to airports but this is the first where I have a fully immersive experience.
L. T.
We spent 8 hrs here waiting for a flight transfer! Very comfortable lounge and bar area! Had I have realized sooner, they do short stay room hire, for a very reasonable price!
E. R. C.
The room was amazing - we got two double beds, and had lots of spare room. shower and a bath! Don't need to worry about toiletries. Couldn't find a hairdryer though. Included a mini fridge, kettle, etc. The service was also great. We were worried we weren't getting breakfast, but we called and they made sure we did - not sure who's to fault for that? Overall I'd recommend staying here.
D. W.
Stayed here due to a missed connecting flight and was very pleasantly surprised! The hotel is easily accessed from the airport via walkways. There's a 24 hour reception and an express checkout option for those that don't want to wait for reception. The room was an excellent size and furnished with quality items. The bathroom again was a very good size with a bath and seperate shower, finished to a high standard. We ordered room service the food was pricey but delicious (although after eating aeroplane food for 20 hours prior I may be biased) and the tray charge for the room service was reasonable at $5. Obviously this hotel is opposite the airport so you can hear planes taking off and landing but the rooms are well sound proofed so the nose isn't too obtrusive. All in all a great place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough!
T. M.
The breakfast is ok but marks should be deducted as there is no shuttle bus from airport to city. The reception ladies are nice and kind in general and quite helpful to the guests needs. The toilet are clean and tidy One point to note it takes around 25 min to the Southern Cross Station in the City by Skybus with round trip AUSD40.
E. G.
50% of the time when we need an airport hotel we stay here when we cant get into the other one we want to stay at... in saying that this hotel is amazing... the service is great, the food is great... but I would recommend if you want a cheaper eat just pop over to the airport and have tea there! The hotel is always clean.
R. F.
Good position but room is in need of updating!
D. C.
A godsend after a dreadful day when our flight cancelled at last minute meant we would miss cruise boat in Adelaide. Lovely on suite bathroom. Large comfy bed. Fabulous buffet breakfast.
N. G.
Nice staff and well appointed rooms. Had to move rooms due to noisy neighbors but the hotel was happy to ask them to keep it down or move me. Didn't want to wreck someones noght of fun so opted for a move. Happy campers all around
K. S.
I found the hotel quite well furnished and the bed was super comfortable for the few hrs I got to use it. I found it a bit frustrating that the noise of aircraft taking off and landing was not managed a little better , the light leaking into the room was also disconcerting. Breakfast was excellent. Was a little disappointed in the valet parking delivering the car back later than i requested resulting in a 20 min delay waiting around.
J. S.
Park royal had excellent service, with staff there attentive to our need throughout the day. The hotel is situated right across the road from the airport, and checking in was no trouble. Rooms are excellent, with plenty of space and comfortable beds and pillows. Services at the confuwerw up to date using the latest technology, and dinner was delicious
R. C.
It is not our first stay at this hotel. We found the room was a bit dated, with poor maintenance and not what one expects from a hotel in this price range. We had a dinner for 12 people at $589, in the dining room and staff were a bit short with us, and orders were not what we ordered. One diner ordered Cheesecake and a Cheese plate was brought to the table. This visit our guests had to pay for validating their parking tickets, this too did not occur last visit. It was very annoying indeed to have the alarm clock go off at midnight, which we did not set. Perhaps staff making up the rooms should check that the alarm is off.
A most convenient location but this visit was disappointing. One highlight was Angela in the dining room, very pleasant.
D. K.
I really like this hotel, I stayed here before a morning flight. You walk straight out to the airport. There's no light pollution in the bedroom.
If you thinking about this or the Holiday Inn, stay here. It's a bit more convenient and rooms are better appointed.
Y. L.
Checked in late after landing at midnight and staff were really helpful with the whole check-in process. Had trouble falling asleep due to works happening on the road outside (constant reverse alarm noise). The room is not as sound proof as I would have liked, as I was woken up by people chattering away in the hallway as they walked past. Mini bar is electronic. Fantastic late check-out time of 11am though!
S. J.
Organized workshop here. Was such an easy, smooth process. Great service from friendly staff. Really happy with the quality of the food and drink service. AV and general room set up was great, again, service was great. Really pleased with the experience. Would book again.
J. S.
Rooms are comfortable, modern and well thought out. Have eaten at the restaurant many times and the food has always been very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location with just a short walk to the terminals to catch your plane.
B. P.
This hotel is right at the airport. Ideal if you have an early start. Room was comfortable and clean. There was a shower and bath. The breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs if you are in a hurry, otherwise order them as you please.
B. W.
Not entirely soundproof but I'm just picky. Good rooms amd facilities, and you do get good sleep. The rooms smell great, lots of space, great house keeping service, very friendly and helpful staff.
D. H.
There dessert selection is absolutely amazing!
The fruit bowl with hemp seeds is just divine and the sticky date pudding was so yummy!
Make sure you try these out!
Parkroyal please dont remove these off your menu.
Will definitely be coming back again.
Had a great time!
M. R.
It's great to be back doing airport transfers
S. H.
This was one of my favorite airport hotels. The rooms were decent. There were good food choices at the multiple restaurants, and the Airo bar was good too. The second floor restaurant is a bit more upscale with very good Aussie food. If you get one of the top floors facing the hotel, then you can see all of the runway operations too.
H. W.
Such a good idea to stay overnight before going on a very early flight with 2 kids under 5. So spacious and lovely to start off our holiday. The kids loved watching the planes land and take off.The service was great.
J. R.
Had an extended layover overnight & decided to book a room. Right across from the airport, it was just a short walk. Got in late, slept real good on the comfortable bed & had a wake up call to ensure I didn't oversleep. Reception was quick & I checked in without any delay.
A. F.
A great idea to stay the night close to the airport before an early flight. That way you can start you holiday much more relaxed. And, the night before you can enjoy a drink or two with a delicious dinner from the bar or restaurant. Highly recommended!
K. M.
Ate dinner in the restaurant for father's Day dinner before dad flew out. Expectations weren't high but the food and service were top quality. The dessert tasting plate was particularly good and the rest of my part were equally pleased with their meals.
B. D. (.
I have to admit I like hotels, so add some scepticism to this. Met a mate for brunch, off the menu was cheaper than the buffet but it all looked good. Parked down the road in short term, ten dollars for 4 hours. Free bus to terminal and walk right in. If your flying shout yourself so do yourself a favour. Stay. Nice staff great coffee too.
A. L.
Connected to all the terminals, best bed I've ever slept in, rooms all very nice, get a room at the end of the corridor away from the lifts, as it can get very noisy the closer you are to the lifts. Pool, spa, sauna & gym are all good, so be sure to make use of it all, as you've paid for it!
W. J.
The rooms are reasonably sized and quite well appointed. Good acoustic insulation means little noise from the airport impacts the rooms. Rooms are rather expensive for the quality - but you're paying for Access to the airport. Parking arrangements are pretty straight forward and well signposted.
K. B.
Stayed overnight before a morning flight and had a wonderful time. Great gym and a lap pool, spa and sauna. In a room facing the Dandenong Ranges and watched the sunrise over them - spectacular. Rooms were lovely - separate bath and shower and retractable clothes line over bath. Fox TV channels included.
Buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had. Barista coffees included. I especially enjoyed the fruit loaf, cheeses, fruit and yoghurt. There was a juicer with plenty of ingredients to make your own juice. Very friendly and attentive staff.
And so relaxing to just walk across the footbridge to the terminal.
E. L.
All over fantastic experience! Excellent service, clean and gorgeous rooms, all hours room service and the food was divine for both dinner and buffet breakfast. Highly recommend.
P. J. C.
What a delightful place to stay overnight to catch a 6am flight. Room is clean, sharp looking and well presented. Staff are friendly, polite and looked after us well... from Reception to the Restaurant.

PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport- Hotel, Melbourne,Victoria, Australia
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Convenience
Literally across the street from Melbourne Domestic/International terminal this hotel sits above the parking garage. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had a tub. There was kettle with teas & coffee. Room service was quick and not over priced. Breakfast was included offering a few international choices. The bar and restaurant are open for lunch hours and dinner hours but you can easily walk across the street into the terminal food court for multiple options, and you don’t need a ticket to get through security. Our party had three adults and one child and the hotel only had king rooms available and no rollaways so we had to pay for two rooms (almost $200 AUD per room) but the hotel allowed us to check in to our room at 11AM so we paid for convenience of an easy walk across the street for an 7AM flight the next morning.
D. D.
Room was perfect. Expected a lot of noise from aircraft traffic but didn't hear a thing. Very nice restaurant and bar. A bit pricey but that's understandable for the quality.
A. E.
If you are looking for a quick overnight before your early morning flight or if you have a severely delayed flight this hotel is literally almost connected to the airport. It took me two min to walk from airport terminal to hotel.
Breakfast was great, no issues from a business traveler point of view
T. S.
Great hotel, absolutely beautiful and perfectly located immediately in front of international departures, so very stress free time management. The price though, I get that I just said all the the above, but the nightly rate is usually more than twice that of the hotels in staying at on my holidays. D:
C. N.
Was there for a work conference. Very nice facilities and the catering was lovely. Venue was also very lovely. Only thing would be that hotel guests sometimes walked through the event, with some in their dressing gowns which was quite awkward.
K. L.
Came here for a corporate meeting that lasted all day. The morning afternoon tea menu does need a bit of change, serving friend prawns with chocolate protein balls don't mix well but the buffet lunch provided was AMAZING.
T. M.
We upgraded to a corner suite which was well appointed. I was concerned about the possibility of aircraft noise but as it turns out had nothing to worry about. A few floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and the floor mat couldn't be placed before showering as the door wouldn't swing over the mat.
D. D.
Gorgeous new hotel literally right at MEL. Superb service, lovely accommodation. Downsides: No USB port connections for smart phone, or iPad or similar appliance. We are almost at the third decade of the new millennium, so not supplying USB connectivity is suprising.
But hotel still gets 5 stars from me. Location, overall condition of accommodation, service, all merit the stars
G. P.
This place is one of the best places I've stayed. And I travel a lot internationally. The staff at front desk and restaurant just can not be more helpful.
We had to stay because of Qantas big issue.. That effected my 88 year old mothers trip. And she had over 24 hours NO sleep to get from Melbourne from Perth. Even 8 hours in wheelchair at Perth waiting alone.
Simply these guys are jewels in what is a very grey situation
S.
Checked in for 1 night while waiting for next morning flight. Location great for early morning departure. 2 minute walk to Melbourne International Airport. Check-in quick, very attentive and helpful. Standard room fine. Decor a little dated, but clean and comfortable. View from room ok. Only downfall is before the front entrance on footpath there appeared to be loads of rubbish scattered by obviously travellers departing or arriving, although at no fault of the Hotel itself, it definately dampened my first impression. Room service was fast and food wonderfully tasty, well cooked, arrived hot and I thought the price for 2 Mains and a orange juice at $80 was very reasonably priced.
A. A.
Good location but very very expensive parking. Even if you paid $50 for valet parking you get no in and out privileges! So safer option is to pay $35 for parking in the short term car park. Modern 4 star business hotel with good views of the airport particularly on the higher floors. Please ensure that your key card works upon check in as mine didn't. I had to go back downstairs to get that sorted. Very pleasant check in experience.
T. M.
We had a fairly early flight back to LA so I figured we'd just stay by the airport for our (sadly) final night in Australia. The location was very convenient for several colleagues who were flying-in and out for the meeting on the same day. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
E. L.
Thank you to the hotel staff for helping us to arrange a family room for the six of us when we took up the 6h room package.
It certainly helped us to refresh ourselves in some way after 7hours flight and having to wait for domestic flight for another 5 hours.
L. S.
Great location with magnificent views over the airport. The service was amazing always friendly staff that were eager to help out if needed. The room was great too very clean and spacious
J. T.
Comfortable and very please place for an overnight stay pre flight the next morning. Restaurant is a bonus with good food, good service and a nice wine list. Altogether not cheap but affordable and relaxing way to start a holiday
R. S.
Its good place with very friendly staff. Meals provided during quarantine are good as well and you can order online as well.
L. F.
This is a great place to recover from a long flight or prepare for one. Comfy beds help immensely. It is relatively quiet and so close to the airport, just a short walk. Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

One night last month for early morning plane flight for which it was perfect. Staff pleasant. Room with view which was clean and tidy. Minor maintenance issues with bathroom/fixtures. Did not eat at the restaurants.

Lovely room. I really liked the location of the desk in the room, so I could see Melbourne in all its glory. Food great, we spent a bit of time at the bar, and enjoyed the quiet there. However, the Muslim call to prayer in the morning when we left ruined the whole thing, and we won't be back. Was there a version of "Onward's Christian Soldiers" as well? If not, then that is totally favouring one religion over others.

Thank god for this service!! As a nervous flyer, being able to stay right at the airport helps with peace of mind. Rooms are always clean and well set out.

Always a lovely venue. The facilities are great. The food and drink is good and the service is terrific. The toiletries they offer for use are good quality. The surroundings are comfortable and elegant without being over the top.

I love this hotel. Right next to the airport. Most comfortable bed in Australia. Brilliant facilities and you get to watch the planes land. Food is good too. More than you should expect from an airport hotel really.

Great for overnight stay for those early morning flights with family. Stayed in a family room 2 adults and 3 children, heaps of space and good breakfast options.

Convenient for meetings and if you are flying interstate or overseas, they have reasonable parking fees if you have stayed there pre flights, it serves a purpose it’s not flash and it feels unclean.

Super close to the airport so convenient to access. Despite being so close aircraft noise is barely audible and doesn't interfere at all. Food was also very good at the catered event.

It's super convenient to the airport - how can you beat less than 60 seconds from checkout to T2. The downside is that it's showing a reasonable amount of wear and tear in the rooms. If you're staying here though it is for proximity to the airport though it's not exactly a destination you'd choose otherwise.

Convenient & generally pleasant. Some rooms (all? not sure) have no power points near the bed so you can't charge your phone overnight & have it within reaching distance.

Nice and close to the airport. Nice friendly staff. I only saw the word Airport, and I’m not a fan of the international airport. Walking zigzag around those annoying Shops. Duty free, Ha. We should have a choice, go to the shops or have a direct walk to our Gate.

Loved it here, room was great, best place to stay if you have an early flight. Food in cafe bar is great. Highly recommended

GOOD OPTION IF YOU HATE EARLY GET-UPS FOR THE AIRPORT
I've stayed a coupele of times when my outbound flight was in the very early hours of the morning!
Neat, clean, good service and best of all you can just stroll across to check-in :)

Very good general experience. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Very hot in the room and the air con hardly made a dent. Really convenient to the airport though.

Well worth the money. Watching the plane activity kept our 2 year old amused. Friendly and efficient staff and the room service meals were delicious.

Had a short stay (literally only about six hours to get some sleep) after arriving late and needing to go early. There is a dining room and bar for a meal or snack. A well prepared room for a weary traveller (and that includes service staff turning the alarms off) would have ensured that I return.

We chose for location & convenience of early morning flight, was impressed with sound proofing. Downside was bed extrenely soft (from wear & tear) and considering cost per night, could do with some refurbishment

Best beds! Always an amazing night or day sleep. Excellent breakfast buffet and room service menu. Love the views of the runway!

Very clean and very comfortable. Stayed for 8 hours during the day - was great to sleep and relax before going on the next flight

The most comfortable bed you will sleep on. We had a short stay over after an international flight. Perfect for a quick rest before your next flight.
