Wow. I stayed here for the tennis as great location and was pleasantly surprised by the renovations that has been undertaken. From the minute you step into the foyer it oozes 5star. The staff are warm and welcoming. The room was first class. Clean, bright, modern. The view from my room was breathtaking. Highly recommend. Definitely will be back.

Great hotel, rooms were very nicely furnished, spotless and highly functional. Very comfortable beds. Great sleep quality. Lovely people on front of house. Excellent location. Pool was refreshing and had a pretty view of the city skyline. Highly recommended.

We had an overnight stay, which was absolutely 💯 sensational from start to finish. We thought it was one of the best Pullman hotels , we stayed in all over the world. Top class, newly renovated, terrific staff and customer service. Great breakfast range. Great executive lounge, professional and great service. Thank you very much !
J. W.
The newly renovated rooms were on-point. All the latest smart tech, moody lighting. Modern bathroom. The room smelt appeared fresh, modern and clean. Great views of the city as well. The hotel breakfast offering could be elevated slightly.

Overall this is a lovely hotel but pool area desperately needs a Reno or at the very least some decent pool furniture and umbrellas and makeover. Everything feels 5 star after the Reno but the pool area. I went there on a staycation to enjoy the pool with my boys and was disappointed to see it looking so tired. I was also disappointed I couldn't get room service delivered to the pool. Staff were amazing though and breakfast staff particularly were very attentive and friendly. Was also a little disappointed I had a parking fee of $140 for 2 nights on my bill which was corrected to $70 but still think that should be complimentary if you're staying more than 1 night. Also would have liked a coffee machine in my room. Would definitely go back though if they could sort these small gripes of mine out.

This is a really nice hotel. The rooms are really modern, with “smart features” like different modes for the lighting, and an electronically controlled window between the bathroom and the bedroom, which can be switched between opaque and transparent. It also has a smart tv that has all the streaming services installed. They were also very accommodating when I requested late checkout, and parking was easy.

Loved the Breakfast! Rooms are very clean. The design is perfect. Staff is very attentive and deliver great customer service

Really loved the location, on-site parking, room and service was fantastic, will definitely stay at property again, thank you

Great location close to Melbourne Park, very friendly and competent staff, refurbed rooms lovely and clean with extremely comfortable beds.

Apparently Due to renovations etc. The room didn't have a fridge, a table or even bin bags in the bins. Which was not mentioned when booking the room and paying full price, thought was a bit rough.
Also the welcome mat at the front door looks like its been there since the 80's, poor first impression sorry.
In saying that, great location in Melbourne CBD.
L. C.
We had buffet breakfast. Good selections, delicious and the staff were very welcoming, efficient and friendly.

Lovely hotel in beautiful location. Freshly renovated refurbished rooms.

Stunning hotel with a beautiful place to sit for an afternoon drink with the sun pouring in through the big glass windows

Thankyou for everything. Specially to Melanie 🌷

First stay at Pullman on The Park in Melbourne. (Normally stay at Novotel in Little Lonsdale St but got ridiculously good rate at Pullman for my dates, so why not check it out?)
Room on 20th floor. Great view. Room is older, but spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Welcome gift (I'm Platinum) 2 bottles of Evian and some chocolates and a card.
Executive Lounge on 18th floor nice enough. Evening Cocktails between 6pm and 8pm but no spirits on offer - beer, wine, soft drinks available. Small selection of canapes/sushi/cheese, not a huge range. Felt other Pullmans do this a lot better. Can get continental breakfast in the lounge or go downstairs for full buffet which is very good with lots of selections. Happy to make a take-away coffee for you to go in the car - love little things like this that make life better. So easy to do and keeps your guests happy.
Self park is $35 per night. Staff I've encountered friendly and cheerful. Hotel seems VERY quiet! Hardly anyone in the lobby, lifts don't stop on many floors and breakfast very quiet.
Room service a good choice and reasonable prices.
Would happily stay here again at a discounted rate similar to that I'm paying this time.
A. C.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, well appointed, clean rooms and unprecedented views! During our stay the staff were beyond helpful and attentive to our family of five (including three small children) going above and beyond to help with several different requests during our stay.
Very well appointed rooms with updated bathrooms and ample space for us all. Phenomenal views of the MCG and the park in our corner suite. For any areas of the hotel that are perhaps slightly dated the updates have been made where it counts and the service will make your stay a memorable one. Highly recommend!

Attended a conference and found the facilities to be excellent.
Conference rooms had all the necessary modern equipment and we're comfortable.
Catering was excellent, food and beverages were all good quality and staff were friendly and attentive.
The facilities were clean with good amenaties.
The Hotel restaurant was inviting and again, comfortable there was enough space to find a quiet place to do some work.

On arrival the lovely staff advised we had been upgraded to an Executive room with access to the Executive Lounge, and all the benefits this entailed this was a wonderful surprise and made our stay that much more memorable.
The location was perfect for our plans for the weekend and the ambiance of the hotel was great, we can only imagine how much nicer it will be once the renovations are complete.
Only a few things stood out that kept us from giving a 10/10 rating, the mattress wasn't the most comfortable, there was no mattress protector on the bed and there were no pillow toppers available.
And a massive thank you to all the staff, they made our weekend getaway an amazing time and a treasured memory.

I've stayed at Pullman twice in the last year, both times it was the standard room with breakfast included.
I find the hotel check-in experience to be quick and friendly. The staff are quite nice.
The lobby area and the ground floor area seemed to be recently renovated and it's quite modern and nice.
However, from the moment you get into the lift, you can tell the hotel has seen better times. The lift seemed to need adjustment as there's a delay between the door opening to the lift actually stopping. The rooms themselves are showing its age, especially the toilet although clean, has seen better days.
The buffet breakfast is quite standard Australian hotel style, continental selection and small selection of hot food and chef there to cook eggs to order. Nespresso style coffee pod coffee is included in the price but not the Melbourne standard of espresso coffee. If you don't mind Nespresso then it might be okay.
The location is great for sports fans as it's right next to Melbourne Cricket Ground. For business travel, it's a bit of a walk to Melbourne CBD, especially if you're carrying files and laptop you are better off catching a train for a couple of stops or hop onto the tram.

Very friendly staff not stuck up. Nice clean room & comfortable bed & pillows. Great pool & sauna. One of the best buffet breakfasts. I've had. It even has a great range of gluten free food. Down falls were the step up into the bathroom & the mould & mould smell in the steam room sauna +the paper thin walls u can hear ur noisy neighbours in the other rooms. Would I go back no & I feel bad for the workers because there great people .but there nothing worse than noisy people & being able to hear them when ur trying to sleep .
A. P.
Best hotel staff in Melbourne and the best buffet in Australia

Excellent location for an excellent price. Fast service! We stayed here for a few nights and the view from our room was great. No road noise surprisingly despite the main roads next to it.
We also booked a hot air balloon experience from this hotel. Waited in the lobby and got picked up at 5am to go to the Yarra Ranges. Amazing experience.
H. K.
Staff at concierge welcomed us with a smile and made an effort to provide us with an early check in as we had been travelling from early that morning. Late check out was also very much appreciated. Our room was comfortable and access to the executive lounge provided that extra touch. Staff at the lounge were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the canapes and drinks in the evening prior to attending the opera and breakfast the next morning was more than adequate. The tram stop opposite the hotel makes the location very convenient for a very short commute to the theatres and CBD.
Overall a very pleasant stay. We look forward to dining at the new Cliveden Reastaurant during our next stay at 'Pullman on the Park'.
A. C.
We enjoyed our stay. the room was lovely however at the time of booking we were not advised that the restaurant would be closed for renovation and that there would only be a pop up room available for breakfast and the bar which was very rough around the edges.
The whole ground floor was very ordinary with all the tempory walls and the noise from construction.
The staff were nice about it however was just a bit ordinary coming to a 5 star hotel and thats what see when you enter.
We were lucky enough that the staff allowed us late check out on the sunday which was lovely also.
R. D.
An elegant hotel, previously know as the Hilton. We decided to stay here for our 20th anniversary. We booked a corner suite to mark the occasion as it was the same hotel we stayed in all those 20 years ago. Customer service was nice & friendly. The food & drinks of a great standard & rooms are well appointed. However, cleanliness could be better as we found a used napkin on the floor of the couches area.
A. M.
Overall a great stay. Room was really nice, Bed was comfortable.
It was just a shame that you are currently doing renovations, We can't wait to return once everything is finished. Breakfast Buffet was great. Staff very helpful and selection of food was great. Welcome drink on arrival was a nice surprise as a Le Club member.
C. R.
I havnt stayed in the hotel however ive visited the bar downstairs many many times, the vibe there is really good. Very peaceful and relaxing, and also has that touch of class and modern feeling about it. Great atmosphere is what im trying to say!
C. G.
We had an awesome time away. We did not realise construction was going on and missed the usual lobby entry experience. That was disappointing but we understand the need for renovations.
Now to the positive. We felt welcomed and were well looked after throughout our stay. Our compliments to all the staff from concierge, reception, housekeeping and dining (at breakfast and in the Executive Lounge). A special thanks to DJ and Sonia in the Executive lounge and Jing and Arj in the dining area.
We bought my parents with us on this trip and they really enjoyed their visit, especially their times in the Executive Lounge.
We look forward to returning again in June.

Place is good and clean. Staff are friendly. Bed is comfortable. 10 minutes walk end to the park to get to the city, and the free tram service. 3 minutes walk to the 7-11 for late night cravings. Quiet surroundings next to stadium and parks. Recommended to come back and stay.
L. G. S.
Great location. Wifi is not free, and this is a let down. Developing countries they offer high speed connection without any fees. Gym is average and some of the equipment was not working properly. Rooms are spacious and the bed and pillows super nice. Breakfast is a bit pricey also.
E. R.
We had a slight issue upon check in however this was quickly resolved by the lovely lady at reception. The staff in the club/executive lounge were particularly good. Friendly and attentive, not disinterested as I've found many staff in this environment. My only criticism would be the room service meal prices. I had a sick child and could not go attend the football as planned so had to order in, I found the prices to be a little over the top. Other than that the hotel as a whole suited perfectly for what we required, with the interconnecting rooms and access to the MCG. Already have another future booking and I'm sure we will return again and again.
A. A.
We've stayed their 1of3 nights so far. The pullman is nice, but so far hasn't lived up to its 5star rating. It's quite old, though grand and currently being renovated. The bathrooms in level 18 executive rooms are quite old, small and definitely need renovation. The two single beds in our room are on wheels that can't be Locked and have very poor quilting. However the service has been great, friendly and helpful. The food has been excellent quality and.taste, albeit small in range. The location is quite central and the view from the lvl18 exec lounge is quite nice
j.
first of all, got a great deal to a Superior Suite as an Accor Plus member.
plenty of room for the family of 4 with 2 young kids.
the Hotel made us "guests of the day", and all the staff were very warm and friendly, wished my wife Happy Birthday as they greeted us. the Hotel General Manager even took the time to have a photo with us in the beautifully renovated hotel lobby.
It was the prefect choice to have dinner at the newly re-opened Cliveden, wonderful food, even my son loved everything, and particularly the chocolate fountain with strawberries:)
From the initial approach with the valet, reception/check in, restaurant staff and check out. it is one of the highest standards of service we have enjoyed at an Accor Hotel or that of any hotel in Australia.
G. C.
This was a two night business trip stay, so the hotel was perfectly serviceable. However I would definitely not rate it as a 5 star hotel. The staff were probably the best thing about the hotel, all were excellent, however the rooms were only passable and in need of a refurb - the bathroom in particular. The bar certainly had 5 star prices though. If I had paid for the hotel expecting a 5 star experience, I would have definitely been disappointed and would have complained, probably asking for a different room. My colleagues and I all agreed it was around a 3.5 or maybe 4 star, but was a long way off the 5 stars it claims.

We arrived early, hoping to drop off our bags, but our room was ready and we explored the pool and spa area before going to the art gallery. In the afternoon we returned and swam in the pool. Yes, it was winter, but the pool was warm and beautifully clean. I loved being able to have a entrance to the pool/spa area. The room was a little too warm for us Tasmanians and the fresh air from outside was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day. The hotel was a great experience for us and we would not hesitate to stay their again and recommend it to friends.
J. E.
The room was fantastic and the service was wonderful.
Unfortunately, the hotel is in the middle of renovations so can't really rate the restaurant dinners or breakfast.
Parking was easy. although would probably be rather tight for large SUV's.
Convenient place to stay with the train and tram just outside the hotel and the brilliant park also next to the hotel witch we walked through to get to the cbd.
Would definitely stay there again and would like to experience the restaurant once the renovations have been completed in late August.
J. C.
Great buffet breakfast. Our room was a bit stuffy even with the air conditioning blasting. Suprised rooms on the top floors had windows which could open wide enough for a child to fall through. We were paranoid since we have cheeky toddlers and the maintenance staff came straight away and removed the handles for us. Amazing service and catered to our individual needs. Cots for our twins was very clean.
J. W.
Located within walking distance to the MCG, AAMI stadium and Rod laver arena. Views over the city. The rooms are decent, slightly dated. Parking not included, $25 per night. Gave the buffet breakfast a miss. Over $100 for 2 adults and a child on a weekend. Bit too rich for my liking...
F. M.
The Hotel is well located and within walking distance to many locations. It does have good access to transport and the facility of parking as we had hired our our vehicle. Staff were always very helpful.
The room was generally quite good, and the house keeping was also good.
The bath/shower was a little dated and could be updated for better access and safety..
Also the TV/Entertainment while good quality it was a little clumsy to navigate.
Overall it was a pleasure to stay at the Pullman
J. a. K.
Fabulous stay. Staff are fabulous from the valet when I arrived to the front desk staff. Efficient, fast & overly helpful, which is not all that common these days.
Room was spacious with all expected amenities. Bed was excellent! Only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.
R. K.
Clean and tidy, breakfast buffet quite good, the omelets were excellent. Meals from the bar were very good. The only disappointment was the red wine in the executive lounge, some of the worst I have tasted, the staff however were very courteous and could not do enough for you.
C. H.
Staff customer service was very good. Stayed in a suite. Rooms were nice with new bathrooms. Other parts of the hotel were in need of a refurbishment. This place is good value for money if your staying for a sporting event as it is near the MCG and AAMI park. Restaraunt isnt 100% functional due to renovations taking place. Other then that i enjoyed my stay.
D. G.
Decore was quite dated. Room size was very good. Bedding was firm with no mattress topper. Minibar choice was reasonable but could be better. No information in my room on room service other than a breakfast card. Odour in corridors was like something from an old hotel. Jackhammers at 7:15am weren't appreciated although I know this has to be done to improve the hotel. Staff were helpful and very courteous. Fast check out worked well except I was billed on my private card which should have gone onto the booking done on the corporate account. This took several attempts to be rectified and I believe has previously happened with staff from my firm.
V. O.
It was pleasant -- room was clean but looked dated - very different from the atmosphere/ambience of the lobby. The room's door was hard to open , which could be a fire hazard. Breakfast area was modern and had a nice feel to it and the selection was one of the best I've seen by far in all your hotels.
M. T.
I stayed overnight to attend a business meeting the next day. This is an Accor hotel. From the perspective of a business traveller, the hotel is good, if not excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean. The hotel staff are polite and attentive. Location-wise, it is convenient if you are travelling to East Melbourne. Recommended.
T. S.
Loved our stay. Large corner suite overlooking the gardens and city. Bed was so comfortable. 11am check out. Ticked all the boxes for a special stay.
N. B.
Hotel was in a good location for us. Rooms were clean and comfy although the heating was hard to adjust and the rooms were often too warm. Staff were lovely in all areas. The hotel was having renovations but we were not put out by it. The only negative was the restaurant during breakfast on our 2nd morning which was chaotic, there was only one poor chef trying to cater for the large amount of guests who suddenly appeared at breakfast and to add to the problem a large number of the guests were non-english speaking guests who failed to realise there was a line to order the eggs and they kept walking up to him and tried to order, when he tried to explain there was a line their response was "no english". They were very slow at replacing the yoghurts and other hot foods. However once I spoke to the front desk regarding the issues they were onto having it resolved quickly. The kitchen was very unprepared for the amount of guests on the day. Overall though our stay was very pleasant.
D. F.
Enjoyed my stay very much -beautiful, clean room with a lovely view. The buffet breakfast was most enjoyable with a wide range of dishes to choose from. The only thing that marred my stay was no hot water on the Saturday afternoon. I had a wedding to attend at 4.30 pm and had to have a cold shower and boil the kettle to wash my hair. I understand equipment failures, but was annoyed that I wasn't informed at check-in at 2 pm and not one staff member acknowledged the inconvenience.
J. R.
From the check-in to departure the experience was excellent! The staff at the Executive Lounge, particularly Jo on Saturday night (21st May) was outstanding. Matched by the staff on Sunday night when Natasha did a great job as well with my gluten and dairy free partner's dietary needs!
Room (1701) was clean, comfortable and quiet. Table lamp didn't work and reading lamp above bed on one side was a dull glow.
It will be even better when the renovations are complete and the dining room and entry foyer are at the usual Pullman standard.
J. M.
I found the bed quite comfortable, great ensuite and lounge. Unfortunately during my stay the refrigerator was not working (which I found out when I went to remove some perishables upon checkout). Great location with nice views overlooking the park and the MCG. I anticipate it being much nicer upon the completion of the restaurant and bar renovations. I look forward to coming back as the hotel was quite convenient to access the eastern side of the city.
D. a. A. L.
It was lovely to have such efficient service regardless of where you were in the hotel. It added to a no fuss weekend away.
Lounge Access was worth the extra money for the views and that something extra
Only downside was the bed. I had expected better linen and the mattress was in need of replacement.
Overall a lovely stay
I. M.
Apart from the renovations, we had a good comfortable stay.
I did not really like the way the toilet was enclosed in a glass cubicle because the glass door tended to smash on the glass wall when closing. Apart from that the bathroom was good.
The renovations made the downstairs area unusable, and the restaurant area was a bit like a coles canteen.
The pool, sauna, and steam rooms were excellent. The spa was a bit old and dated, but adequate.
T. G.
Very comfortable bed. Lovely spacious room. The shower did not seem appropriate for a 5 star hotel.
The staff were lovely, no complaints. The bar/restaurant should be amazing when renovations are complete!
Finally the complementary wifi offered to me as an Accor Plus Silver member was terrible.
A. M.
Bed very comfortable, room was tastefully furnished, view fantastic.
Negatives - a table and chairs immediately inside the door. Difficult entry
with cases etc.
Temporary bar and dining room. Not what you expect when staying at a
5 star hotel. I understand it is being renovated but that did not reflect in
the cost of the room. Very underwhelmed with the overall experience and as
I was using an Accor free night with an upgrade of $100 it was disappointing
to have to go outside the hotel to eat. I feel it should have been communicated
that the hotel was under renovation when my booking was made.
N. E.
Location of the hotel is great, with trams passing by and the railway station cross the road.
Staff are genuine, helpful and approachable.
The Executive lounge is reasonable but not great. Hot canapés can be improved and better variety of drinks can be introduced. Breakfast here is very limited and boring.
Hotel amenities are outdated but still functional. I don't think it has changed much since the Hilton days. Ground floor facelift is much needed and is being carried out. The lifts from 1st floor to the lobby are temporarily not working and that creates a problem for old people like me to carry their luggage to the 1st floor unaided. It would be nice thought if another method of lifting people via escalator was introduced meantime.
I should mention that The shower handle leaks and there is no bath railing to help stabilise and support old people in the shower. The bath/shower facility is old and can do with a facelift.
L. H.
I enjoyed my stay at Pullman East Melbourne, the bed was particularly comfortable & I was very happy with the car park, it was easy to access & I felt my car was safe. The staff were very friendly & efficient, it was nice to receive a greeting or even a chat from every staff member I saw. It wouldn’t be fair to give this hotel anything but 5 Stars.. but at the price, perhaps it’s currently not the best value around. Apparently planning for refurbishment of the rooms is underway & if the same level of service is maintained when the refurb is complete, you’d be hard pressed to find a better hotel in Melbourne. Be sure to check out Fitzroy Gardens across the road.. it’s worth a walk through to see Cooks Cottage, the Fairies’ Tree, Tudor Village & the park’s fountains. Next time I need to a car park & stay at a hotel within walking distance of the city, Pullman Melbourne is my likely choice.
K. T.
A good one night stay; the room was nice and clean; I am an Accor Plus member and all previous times I had been spoiled by getting a room upgrade and a drink voucher or two drink vouchers if an upgrade was not available; no drink vouchers this time though, or any welcome letters I use to get .. small things .. but other than that - a pleasant experience; a very friendly and professional staff, always great to come back because of the service provided.
one note: If you a gym junkie and love to do a few kms on a treadmill in the morning, you better go there quite early as there are only two treadmills available.
A. D.
Very pleasant and satisfying. I booked a Superior room not thinking it was a Standard room. Check in was very efficient and quick. I had asked for a high floor and twin beds. I arrived just after 5pm, room ready on 11th Floor....Beds not broken down into 2 beds and windows were filthy. I called the desk and reiterated these comments...The receptionist called me back very quickly offering a double double on 12th Floor or suite on the 20th Floor...I took the suite and was delighted with the room...Thank you! I then decided to take the executive package and enjoy the luxury of the hotel and the room....The renovations are looking very good...most impressed with the restaurant...I heard a whisper that perhaps the Executive Lounge might be moved to be closer to a kitchen...I would not take it away from the view...This is what I expect of a club/executive lounge something amazing....This was a great experience and a nice change to the Sofitel where I normally stay
G. A.
Could not use the restaurant in the evening because they only offered seafood buffet and am allergic to seafood. There was no option for a la carte menu therefore had to eat away from hotel which was a shame.
The hotel rooms are nice but a little tired. I understand that a refurbishment project is underway which overtime should improve the rooms appearance and functionality. As they are they, they are spacious and comfortable.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you very much.
G. M.
Reception desk staff were very friendly and informative. Room was very clean. Breakfast had always been delicious every time I've stayed at the Pullman. The only gripe I have is that the top sheets are a little too stiff/ruff. Check out was a breeze.
M. v. L.
Room was neat and clean although had to really search to find the air-conditioner. The room actually had an unusual smell about it. It wasn't enough for me to ask for a room change but it was in-your-face when you walked into the room. I like having fresh air so I used the open window but renovations on the train tracks below by council (?) on the Thursday night kept me up at times. Breakfast was okay too given the renovations and staff were pleasant. Nothing outstanding in the stay to make me really want to come back to this hotel over others.
L.
Returned to see the renovations downstairs completed. Loved it. Plenty of room and varying seating to suit everyone. Good ambiance at night, even when busy after footy. Huge improvement with bar service at the end of a game. Would like to see more variety with bar finger food available.
Was a delight to be attended to by Mardi at reception. I've stayed at the Pullman for a few years and Mardi has been a constant with my trips always smiling, attentive and meets all my requests. Truly makes the stay even more enjoyable and hope to see Mardi there for the 2018 season.
Room was the best I've stayed in yet. I've always requested a view of the MCG, and this trip, I didn't get it and that's mighty fine because with the corner suite, who care's what's going on outside. Truly relaxing.
Coming across all staff within the Pullman, they 'always' said Good Morning etc. Good to see them engage with the customers more this trip.
My room key cards worked! Yay!
My friends now also stay at the Pullman, and I look forward to staying here again.
J. M.
The view was nice. The let down was after including in the booking for 2 of my children - 12yo and 17yo (I was asked their ages and told the 17yo was an adult for booking purposes), to only be provided with bedding for one of them and expected for the 12yo girl to share a bed with the 17yo boy. The 17yo left and returned home via public transport that night as that is not acceptable. We attempted to reach the front desk by phone that night but there was no answer. On explaining situation at front desk on checking out, we were advised we should have called front desk and arranged extra bed! It was included when booked so I'm disappointed that we had to run around and waste our time on the phone (that goes unanswered). There were only 2 towels as well so clearly the room was not set up for my children as well.
We also had difficulty getting through on the internal phone system for the towels, room service and on checking out for luggage to be collected.
The room was nice (level 19), with views over the MCG and the city. It was very handy to the MCG and lending us umbrellas for the dawn service was a nice gesture. The staff are friendly but seemed really busy so I can see why the phones go unanswered. Maybe there is a need for a dedicated phone operator to take internal calls.

We came to the Pullman for their Christmas buffet and it was completely worth it and a great experience! The selections of food were amazing, generous and everything I tried was delicious! Presentations were on point and I loved the seafood bar! Everything from fresh oysters, smoked salmon, Morton bay bugs and prawns! Another standout for me was their pumpkin gnocchi - light, fluffy and the sauce was creamy and to taste! If you’re a sweet tooth, you’d love their dessert selection! Our waitress was attentive, friendly and joked with us and their management who was overseeing things made sure everything was running well. I was surprised at how many families was at the buffet! There is ample parking all around the Pullman. Would definitely come back again for other occasions!

We loved our corner suite with new modern bathroom and plenty of space. The new extended bar sets the mood as do the outfits the barmen wear! We thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of the 'seafood buffet', which rather than having endless concoctions, perfected tastefully a few. Very refreshing for the old 'buffet' from the past.
R. S.
A little dated and bathrooms are small but staff were nice and room had a good view. We had access to the executive lounge, which was quite good - includes more than enough to eat and drink, and with a view out over the MCG and city.

Refurbished old Hilton On the Park Hotel, now the Pullman on the Park. Elegant upmarket refresh with a modern contemporary feel. Very busy when I was there attending a Gala Ball in the function rooms upstairs for close to 500 people. Downstairs the lobby was bustling and the restaurant looked like a place I would like to try. Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Only negative really is the onsite parking which is horrendously expensive, some of the most expensive in Melbourne, even though it's not in the CBD. I was charged $35 for a couple of hours when I had to leave on an errand. I returned, related and after about a 3 hours stay was hit for another $55!! Street parking is highly restricted and very limited on the area and with the hospital nearby it's nearly impossible to find a spot. The car park itself shows its age with a tight, narrow spiral ramp and very narrow, tight driveways and parking spots. Very very easy to scrape your vehicle here especially if you have a large SUV!

We saw your Hotel in a deal so we thought we would try it.
We were there in July 2017, both ;liked the location and the room was great.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Loved the Executive Lounge on the 18th floor.
Parking was easy.
Breakfast was great too.
Guess what,
We have booked again for August.
Great place for anyone.

The Pullman Melbourne is nicely located near the city with access to tram. The whole experience was good having stayed in a suite near the top floor with great views. Although the hotel room itself is not the one I expected. I have been on other Pullman in Olympic Park in Sydney and it was quite nice and the building appears new. On the other hand the one in Melbourne felt dated and it was obvious through the carpets and curtains. The sofa bed appears old and dusty. Incidentally my daughter's allergies got triggered which we were not sure if it was due to the ice cream she had with supposedly no nuts or the dust from the room. She ended up staying in an emergency hospital overnight. When we came back to the hotel early morning we asked for a late checkout and we were given a very late checkout. We are so grateful for this consideration. The only other thing is the pool which my daughter was excited to use but was closed for some reason. Overall it was still a pleasant experience.

even though we dined in a make shift restaurant due to renovations it was well made up for in very good meal and friendly and personable staff.
Rooms were well presented and kept and reception staff (including concierge) were very friendly and down to earth.
Construction works did start early in the morning but as we are early rises this wasn't too big an issue on this occasion. Saying this we respect that renovations need to occur and no time is a good time but it has to be done.

Attended a conference here. What was notable was the things missing compared to other conference centres... no sound probs, no hot / cold periods therefore no need to demand changes and best learning environment was maintained. Good quality food and drinks with nothing running out even near end of break. Comfortable furniture and pleasent surroundings. This venue also is so easy to get to as Jolimont railway station is directly opposite with trains running every 5 - 10 min. I would highly recomend this as a function centre.

My wife and I stayed with aims of a combined business and social short break. The newly renovated restaurant and bar made for an ideal long lunch venue. Pre-dinner drinks and Hors d'oeuvres in the executive lounge with a view over the MCG was delightful. A trip out for the evening with friends was followed with a long breakfast with friends. We do so enjoy the facilities and services of the Pullman brand, and it is great to see this hotel has increased its standard back up to that expected at Pullman properties. Things are greatly improved since our last stay at this hotel.
S. S.
The staff were great and particularly friendly. Can cope with dining renovations. The room was in a great position. The hallway carpet to our room was well below standard as far as cleanliness was concerned and the attention to detail to our room needs to be addressed.
R. W.
Lovely place to stay very clean tidy, close to my function, Nice size room and a very comfortable bed.
The only complaint would be the room was too cool for me (a north Queenslander) and the heater didn't work, or not connected.
The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and happy the breakfasts were delicious.
Had a beautiful view from my 16th-floor room window looking out over the Melbourne Cricket Grounds.
I definitely will stay here again the next time I come to Melbourne.
Thank-you all from a very happy camper!

An excellent family stay at the Pullman Melbourne.
We decided to stay due to the close proximity of the Hotel to the main sporting stadiums. Literally across the road which was perfect for our 2 children.
Arrival was seamless with a quick and efficient valet, along with an instant check-in on arrival.
Staff were very friendly and the lobby was well presented. A subtle theme was present in the hotel for the Australian Open which was nice but not overwhelming.
We stayed in the Deluxe room with 2 x double beds, which was plenty of space for our family of 4 overnight.
The room was well presented, with comfortable superior mattresses and bedding. A nice high view over the pool area, with the backdrop of East Melbourne and the Dandenong further in the distance.
The room areas such as the desk, minibar and wardrobe were very clean, along with a clean bathroom well stocked with amenities.
We decided to have a small bite in the bar downstairs which had a nice lounge atmosphere. it was great to see a combination of guests attending the many sporting events in Melbourne over the weekend.
The bar staff were attentive and offered table service on arrival. There was an extensive drinks menu and a limited A La Carte menu in the bar.
The neighbouring Cliveden restaurant in the lobby was another option for dinner but we decided on some small share plates. All were delicious.
The walk to/from our soccer game at Ammi Park was quite enjoyable, walking past the iconic MCG and past the carnival atmosphere of the Australian Open.
Our overnight stay was comfortable, with minimal traffic noise being slightly out of the bustling CBD.
There was also little noise from neighbouring guests.
As we woke from our deep sleep, we ventured down to the Cliveden for the buffet style breakfast.
I must say it was one of the best breakfast spreads I have seen in my travels. Think - full cooked breakfast with all the trimmings, along with a dedicated chef making cook-to-order eggs.
There was also a large range of breads and pastries with all spreads. A juice bar was also available for guest opting for a healthier choice. Everything was fresh, delicious, and a hit with the children. Staff were attentive, and coffees were delivered promptly after we sat at our table.
We opted for a late 4pm check-out, which is a great feature across the Accor hotel brands. It gave us enough time to relax in the room, visit the outdoor pool, large spa, and also the sauna.
Another advantage to the Hotel was the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens locates just next door. A perfect way to end the afternoon.
Our check-out was seamless and the valet prompt.
Overall a wonderfull stay at the Pullman, and we look forward to our next visit.

Had much more expectations from the hotel. It was a very basic room. Not fancy at all. Shower didn't work and there were no bed side light buttons. Won't be staying here anymore.
S. T.
Spacious room with a very comfortable bed and quiet. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was well cooked and beautifully seasoned. Serving size was a bit small and pricy. Otherwise service was excellent throughout, checkout quick and staff excellent.
N. W.
Really enjoyed our stay, and a night I will never forget.. was staying in Melbourne for the night with my 8 year old for the Richmond vs. Geelong game.. great buzz at the hotel, and great job by the staff.. we were offered an upgrade with views of the MCG, plus a drinks voucher. So convenient to walk across the road. Room was great - only negative was that the windows were quite dirty on the outside! We loved our stay, thank you for looking after us, we look forward to returning,
J. H.
Old hotel. Comfortable stay. Quiet. Breakfast very expensive for what you get, far better value elsewhere. Dinner was expensive but nice. It was noisy as there was a function on next door and the restaurant was not closed off from it as guests had to use bar from restaurant due to renovations. $16.00 for 6 nuggets and chips was way too expensive especially when there is no Accor discount. $50 parking was a little excessive. Taps for shower were low, (bath taps). Would not be suitable for someone with back issues or an elderly person.
J. H.
Stayed 2 nights. Front desk/concierge staff excellent. Had dinner at a function at the hotel - excellent. Room was on level 2 with outlook on MCG, gravel balcony (not accessible from room) contained lots of cigarette butts? The room was clean, bed good, bathroom needs an upgrade (shower over the bath unusual in a 4 star hotel). Difficult shower controls, bathroom clothesline broken. Room door seals not working, let a lot of hallway light into the room. Are 3rd party booked rooms inferior quality to direct booked rooms?
G. M.
Very comfortable bed, nice spacious room. A fair bit of corridor noise and inter-room sound insulation not great. An obvious domestic disturbance in a nearby room and in the corridor which erupted on 2 consecutive nights at around 3am was not pleasant to listen to. Dining area/bar a bit difficult - hard to find bar and service quite slow in both bar and dining area - a bowl of fries took nearly half an hour to appear after order and the dining area was not busy at all. Had to request waitress to ask where our order had disappeared to.
H. H.
Really enjoyed staying here. They must have refurbished from the look of things and they have done a good job.
Nice restaurant, bar and facilities. I'll make sure I stay here each time I am working at Margaret Corut Arena.
Totally recommend
M. O.
Excellent. Great service. First class breakfast. Comfortable room. Above all your staff on the front desk, in the restaurant and room service were friendly, helpful and we were greeted with a smile. The problems we had with the hire car company were handled well by the gentleman on the front door. Well done.
Your Brisbane Pullman Hotel could learn a lot from your Organisation in Melbourne. M G O'Connell You can use my comments if you wish.

Having booked a balloon flight for my husband and I for our first anniversary I thought I would book a room at the Pullman on the park as this was the pick up point for our ballooning experience. We arrived on Saturday afternoon expecting a nice but basic room as I had opted for one of the cheaper options, When checking in the lovely man at the desk said he had a surprise for us and that we have been upgraded. We were very excited and told him how nice this would be as it was our anniversary, he then offered us free champagne to celebrate..
We were taken to our room (or should I say penthouse) it was the most beautiful 2 story apartment with stunning views, we could believe how lucky we were. Our balloon flight was terrific and we then returned to the Pullman for a lovely breakfast.
It was an amazing anniversary, and we thank the Pullman on the park for there wonderful service.
D. C.
Reception staff on arrival were pleasant and efficient.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Breakfasts were delicious and staff handled the crowds with smiles and efficiency.
Check out Sunday was busy due to football crowd but proceeded smoothly.
Looking forward to returning once renovations are completed ! The location is perfect whether you wish to walk through the lovely Fitzroy Gardens, explore East Melbourne or use public transport.
G. M.
Had a lovely stay. Room very comfy. Staff were great. Emma and others were very friendly in the lounge Saturday night. Loved the Spanish Rose. Breakfast was fantastic. Looking forward to returning later this month
R. N.
Good Rooms and Nice Ambience but Bad Guest Service team. I was staying in the executive Lounge Room category and had access to the executive lounge floor. When i visited the place the second day of my stay in the evening at 6.30 pm, i was stopped by the gentlemen there in a rude manner and told that let me verify where u have access to this place. I was quiet and did not react. Later the gentlemen tells me that he doesn't have me listed on his Room number sheet. I was very disappointed with the kind of embarrassment my wife and i had to face. I requested the gentleman to call the reception and check, on which he was told we were allowed. I fail to understand how can a brand like pull man not keep an updated sheet of room nos which have access to the lounge. If u guys can do it for the breakfast list, then why not the lounge access list is made? Its a nice property but people need to be well mannered and not show racism to indian guest. Thanks
P. B.
Attended a Dermatology conference here, very professional and the service was great, the conference rooms were fitted out nicely with water, pens and pads, and their audio system worked well.
The lunch we were provided was very tasty food with a great variety of options. Only their parking system requires improvement as there's only one machine available for payment and it doesn't accept cards.
Otherwise a very pleasant experience.
G. D.
Staff and service was great. Always hard when renovations are happening. There should of been an email or phone call explaining lifts would be out of order from the carpark. Complientry valet parking and dropping suitcases off at reception rather than park and discover you had to haul your suitcases up stairs. Rooms were lovely, however being from the country found it a tad noisy on the road side. great location.
R. C.
We were extremely impressed with the service of the staff and presentation of hotel. We were unaware of the relaunch and opening of the restaurant. On inspection we decided to dine there in preference to going out. Once again the staff were welcoming, professional and interactive. The food quality and presentation was 5 star. We will definitely return.
M. G.
I had an ok experience for 1 night stay at the hotel. While the lobby looked fancy that was not reflected in the room. Room didnt feel any special . It actually looked dated a little disappointing. We only realised the next morning that we had no mini bar . The fridge only had milk not even water... we had to use our own water to have a coffee in the morning. Breakfast was average for a 38 $ per person. In fact i walked out thinking i wont be returning back to your hotel . 500$ for one night didnt feel any special.
M. K.
Nice hotel, good location. It's next to the huge park which is really beautiful, but also walking distance from the city, maybe 15 min by walk. I've been in this hotel a few times, everything was fine. The only thing is that two times in the middle of the winter was quite cold in the room. When I complained staff didn't do anything about it.
R. G.
This was a real find! On a cold Saturday afternoon after having a radiological examination at St V's my bestie and I dropped into the Pullman for a quick bite to eat.
Unfortunately the bistro was closed however the cafe was open.
The meue was small but interesting so we ordered so small plates.
Tasty, hot and fast! Nice coffee, Could be a tad stronger .. just saying.
Lovely quiet and comfortable surroundings.
Good wait staff.
Highly recommended.

I was reasonably late checking in - around 9.20pm. I had experienced a very intense day at work. I was up and gone by 7am the next morning. The room was booked as an Accor member - and as such was FOC. Welcome etc excellent. Room was comfortable but noisy - next door had a bit of party happening. The restaurant only offered a seafood buffet (Id rather starve) so ended up at the bar with a less than average hamburger and fries. Overall, my stay at the Pullman was nothing special - just a bed for the night (but I was in that state of mind too!).
M. A.
The rooms are really nice and clean. The staff is so friendly. It's 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by tram to the city, and 5 minutes walk to a 24/7 "7 eleven" store.
One thing though, the bedside alarm clock was still set to the light saving summer time.
T. B.
Nice clean hotel that presents well, particularly after the ground floor refurbishment. It’s close to the city with just a 10-15 min walk to the east side of the CBD, and a tram stop right outside. MCG is also a few minutes walk away. Reasonable amount of amenity with cafes etc on Bridge road to the east, and more popular restaurants, cafes and bars on Swan street a little further away (but still walkable) in Richmond. We tried the hotel restaurant for dinner, it was very quiet on a weeknight (Thursday), service was good and food was tasty, although portions probably on the smaller side considering the higher price point. Some pictures below.
S. W.
We've stayed here many times as it's very close to Rod Laver Arena for concerts and functions. We've always found the staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. . Beautiful clean rooms and comfortable beds. Totally recommend.
S. Y.
Good hotel overall. Staff generally friendly, location ok with CBD 15 minute walk.
2 negatives for me. Gym was being renovated when I stayed and this was not highlighted anywhere on the hotels website.
Also whilst very clean, bathroom had over powering smell of chlorine.
Otherwise, solid older style 5 star hotel.
P. K.
This hotel is in a great location, it has everything you need. The public areas such as the restaurant, reception and bar, are world class. The rooms are very dated, and I believe are in the process of refurbishment that it desperately needs. Furniture and fittings just seam to be worn out. The bed & pillows were a bit firm for my liking.
M. D.
Most staff are fantastic and accommodate to all your needs. Rooms are clean and the location is gorgeous overlooking Fitzroy Gardens and the MCG. Special treats left when we entered our room and complimentary upgrades, free drinks at the bar and WiFi made our stay a seamless one. Fantastic hotel.
A. H.
Fantastic hotel to stay!!! My partner and I stayed for a week and it was so peaceful and close walking to everywhere we wanted to go! This place has the best selection of staff we have ever encountered! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was incredible and a special shout out to Brian in the meals department for being extra awesome and catering to our every need with no hassle what so ever! Awesome Pullmans THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
J. S.
The hotel is currently undergoing significant renovations to the ground floor facilities. This includes the restaurant and bar area. I would have liked to know of these renovations upon booking the hotel. Further, I'd expect perks to be thrown in as compensation for enduring reduced servicing of these facilities. Examples could include free internet at unrestricted speeds, complimentary water in the rooms, free parking for Accor members in the car park, etc. None of these incentives were offered.
S. W. (.
One of the best hotels I have stayed so far in Melbourne. Staff was really helpful. Good breakfast (hint: book via the website to get $1per person per stay brekky). Paid underground parking. Heated outdoor pool. Recommend!
P. C.
Reception staff were very helpful with directions and booking assistance. Restaurant manager was not very considerate. We had selected a table away from the renovation noise but were told to move to one that was subjected to very loud noises. There was nothing enticing in the menu so we left. There were noises coming from repairs being done on the front doors of rooms near to ours on both days of our stay, one in the afternoon after we arrived and another from 8am in the morning which prevented us from sleeping. Finally the food and beverages in the executive lounge were disappointing. As a top hotel brand, we were surprise that they have no carry bags for customers.
S. N.
Had a lovely 3 night stay. It is outside the free tram zone. There are a few nice places to eat nearby and it is very convenient for watching the tennis and cricket. The building and interior are quite dated but I liked the historic interior. The staff were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Room size was reasonable but not hugely spacious. They were clean however there is no option to not have your room cleaned. The buffet breakfast was excellent - it had a huge range of food. I would return if I visited Melbourne again.
R. C.
I attended a business workshop on the 28th February, and the presentation of the hotel was stellar. Not to mention the food during the break was cake and pork buns (nothing short of amazing). The event was held in ballroom 3, and the design of the room was very luxurious, and to be honest the design of the room was so beautiful I often got distracted and for a few minutes and just got lost in the wall decals. An amazing hotel for a function.
M. S.
I was extremely happy with the Pullman. My room and breakfast were excellent, even catering for my gluten, dairy and sulphite free diet. The bedroom decor was worn and tired, but very clean and comfortable. The service of the staff was the standout. I suffered a nasty fall on the tram tracks in Wellington Parade outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and caring, calling an ambulance, notifying my husband and telling him which hospital l was in. It was very reassuring. Take my advice and cross at the lights!
Y. W.
On my second night stay the room service was accidentally delivered to my room at 3:00am in the morning. But overall it's a hotel that stands out with the exceptional manner of its reception and bar staff. Top service money can buy at a very low range amongst 5 star hotel. Highly recommanded regardless of the mistake that's made during my trip.
M. S.
Extremely comfortable rooms with stunning Melbourne views. A short trip to Central Melbourne and a stone's throw from the MCG. Excellent buffet dinners, although ala carte menu is a touch limited (food is still extremely tasty). Friendly and helpful staff to top it all off. Highly recommended.
S. G.
I'm staying here for 4 days, staff have been incredible, absoloute stars of the show. Disappointed that you have to pay for wifi in a 5 star hotel - other than that I can't fault it. Cleaners have been exceptional, down to noticing tiny details such as how many tea bags needed topping up and doing things at a time that suited me. Really pleased with the service, will reccomend to my friends and family.
N. G.
I visited the Pullman for a conference so can't comment as a place to stay. As a conference venue it was clean, well serviced, the food was great and all in all a good event. If you're looking for something quirky, this isn't for you. It's a reliable hotel with nice decor away from the hustle of the cbd.
B. D. I.
Fantastic staff made our stay very positive. Room provided all we needed for a special holiday with grandchildren. Pool and spa used frequently, breakfast a treat and beds comfortable. Location provided access to MCG and CBD. Look forward to seeing the hotel after revamp.
S. B.
The Pullman was an excellent location for our event at the MCG. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A few negatives: TV reception seemed easily disturbed and lighting in room was extremely low, making it very difficult to do work in the evening. You have to be an Accor Privileges member to get free wifi. In this day and age complimentary wifi should be available as part of every room. We all use it!
D. V.
I've always gotten first class treatment here. The rooms have been excellent (relaxation suite) and the value has been great (I qualify for a government rate). The view from the executive lounge is spectacular. Access to parks, sporting facilities, and river walk is quick and easy. I love it here.
C. F.
I had three nights in the hotel on this occasion, with the added bonus of a superior suite, due to the Red Hot Rooms deal. As usual, I received great service from the hotel staff, and enjoyed my stay. I look forward to seeing the hotel after the current renovations are completed.
D. M.
Used our Accor free night here for a Saturday night stay. No problems at all with great breakfast and room overlooking MCG. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and car parking no problem. Although hotel is showing its age, would recommend this as a place to stay.
W. S.
Great view from our room, quick elevators, security to get in with underground parking also has valet if you don't want to park yourself.
Very comfortable bed, mini bar and tea or coffee available.
Close to sporting and entertainment arena's as well as a quick tram/train or taxi ride to the city for shopping or a night on the town.
J. E.
Despite arriving late, I had great service on check-in as well as at the bar enjoying a late dinner with a few drinks. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also really good with a great selection of good food in the restaurant.
B. T.
The hotel is in a pleasant setting near the lovely Fitzroy Gardens and Cooks cottage and a short walk to the City. Train station and tram stop right opposite the hotel. Very friendly and efficient staff and I enjoyed my executive room with access to lounge. All good. Only minor issue is maybe an update to toilet for modern flush. Quiet on 18th floor and my southern facing room had a spectacular view of the MCG. I would thoroughly recommend.
S. S.
The hotel was just OK ... I felt like the entry foya was a bit dull and needed more life and more colour. The carpets were a bit dirty in the lifts and lift entry. The room was just ok only. Mould in the shower - air con controls broken - no free water or free snack on arrival. Bath shower was disappointing ( we prefer walk in showers ) .... the room was very small and very basic. We have stayed in hotels around the world another 2 stars on top for half the price so it was very hard to stay in this room.
R. M.
Prices too high for the standard of this 5 star hotel. Badly in need of renovations. Phone and television in room not working. Address says Melbourne but chauffeur said it's East Melbourne (higher fare). The worst was at checkin when the receptionist repeated the price for each night (which I knew as I had booked); it felt like being treated like you can't afford it. Stayed in many hotels across the globe but never got this treatment.
R. V. D.
Perfect. Large hotel, large room, large outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, car drop off service, generous in-room dishes, great location across the park and 2 metro stops from the city. Staff is pro-active helpful, great restaurant with fresh ingredients. I can't really think of minor points this time, sorry guys! ^^
S. H. L.
Stayed a night at this hotel as it was on special. I wasn't expecting much from it as I really went there for the deal. However, the service and the view from the room was exceptional. It was truely overwhelming and I recommended it to all my friends visiting Melbourne. It is away from the CBD so it can be a little annoying if you don't have a car, but then the tram station is very close.
J. J.
Very convenient location and friendly staff. Rooms are just okay for the price - bed wasn't very comfortable and air conditioning make room extremely hot even if temperature is set.
Breakfast buffet is amazing and has a lot of options.
S. M.
Thank you so much to the management and staff for making my husbands get away such a pleasurable experience. Your staff and particularly management went above and beyond our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. I will tell everyone about our stay and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. Special thank you to Heidi Aziz and Himel who went to so much trouble in making our stay a memorable experience.
P. R.
Check in was quick and easy our room was as requested however the toilet didn't flush properly and the windows over looking the MCG were to put it bluntly, filthy. Wi-Fi didn't work in the room when reported still didn't work we gave up! As Accor club members I thought we would be offered some sort of drinks voucher/offer but nothing was mentioned or any benefit received. The staff were all very friendly. The only other thing I would comment on is after the footy on Saturday afternoon we returned for a coffee and were very surprised that we had to join the bar que for a barista coffee and then had nowhere to sit and enjoy it, disappointing
K.
This hotel has been bought buy Accor hotel group and branded Pullman. The renovation of the entire ground floor is a success: the bar area is modern and classy. The entire restaurant is more opened that before in terms of space.
Hopefully the rooms will go through a similar refurbishment. The Ac system is outdated and air flows in and out when its not even running.
Gym is alright if not busy. Outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi available.
M. F.
Stayed overnight with my daughter. Room was very comfortable as was the lovely chair in the room.
Good bed and good pillows. Service excellent. Very enjoyable. Current renovations did not impact on us at all.
S. O.
The corner suite I stayed in had great views of both the MCG and the city. There was a delicious cronut on arrival and a very comfortable king bed. My room also had a great big bath and the toiletry kits were great.
D. v. E.
I stay here all the time for business trips. The staff are all kind and welcoming. When you travel a lot that's really important. It's less noisy than the CBD, yet only a 10 min tram ride to the centre, adjacent to a beautiful park and the MCG. A perfect place to stay.
I. J.
3* tired hotel but with 4* staff and ambience. Really weird. This feels like a hotel that's been bought and renamed a couple of times, with the money going on the fascia and foyer rather than they rooms. They are clean and ok, just from the last decade or two ;)
Facilities are also clean but tired. However the staff are infectiously friendly and helpful and even though it sounds a cliche they make the whole place seem fun and welcoming. Location is quiet yet super-convenient for the cricket/Olympic areas and a brief walk across a lovely park to the west end of the city. Wouldn't have chosen this hotel (client's choice for a conference) but now have it as a future option. Wifi is pathetic, btw.
R. A.
Once again we had a most enjoyable, relaxing stay. Stephanie and Subhu looked after us for breakfast in the Executive Club Lounge and were both amazing. They are definitely the perfect personalities for the perfect start to the day. Our next weekend getaway with you is already booked and we're really looking forward to it.
A. F.
We were disappointed with the initial room, way below standard but the upgade was better. The service from all staff was friendly and efficient. We are conscious that the hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment and the overall feel and look of the rooms will benefit from that. Looking forward to returning after this is completed.
V. P.
A fabulous stay once more. Great service, superb king suite which was spacious and comfortable.
Kudos to Steph in the executive lounge who looks after us everytime.
The service in this hotel is always exemplary throughout.
Thanks.
D. M.
As a hotel the facilities and rooms are well kept and cleaned regularly. A few minor cosmetic problems (bath enamel showing it's age etc.).
Internet delivered wired or wireless is expensive at 15aud for 24hrs (at 5Mb).
At check-in we were delayed for about an hour while the hotel caught up with late departures (Emirates flight was delayed). While the hotel helped those guests affected they neglected those that would occupy those rooms in thier stead. Could have been handled better.
C. P.
Nice hotel views due to the park in front. Nice reception as well. However, rooms are still old and need a refurbishment. Pool is only outside and climate is not stable enough for it to be happily enjoyed.
R. G.
Room was great. Spacious, clean, and it felt like home. The only downfall was the water pressure in the bathroom, it was terrible. Wouldn't have been able to fill the spar as it would have taken all night. The shower was like a dribble.
J. S.
We had a great overnight stay - the location was suburb as I was heading in for surgery at St Vincents Hospital on Grey Street the following day This was only a short walk away. My husband and I dined in the on site restaurant and enjoyed the meal and cannot fault the service. Would be happy to recommend and would stay again. Excellent customer service by all. Thankyou!
G. C.
The breakfast is quite good. Amazing self service coffee machine. The waiters are very friendly. But the thing I love the most at breakfast is the Chia seeds hydrated on coconut milk with jam.
L. M.
Although well maintained, small amounts of black amongst the sealing in the bathroom, scratches here and there all speak to the age of this hotel. Although it has all the modern amenities it doesn't have or at least the executive suite didn't have a simple touch is loke a HDMI point to connect directly to as opposed to having to try and find the damn thing on the TV itself.
B. K.
We have stayed a number of times at the hotel an enjoyed our stays. This time there were some unexplained noises throughout the night which did not help sleep. Also there was a problem with the tv picture which I understand affected most of the hotel. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay
S. M.
Arrival, parking and check in was smooth and helpful, the room was comfortable and the check out was easy. The new restaurant was excellent for breakfast although tea/coffee area needs to be better designed - queueing for tea and coffee was a bit inconvenient while cooked breakfast got cold.
S. S.
Attended professional conference here did not stay overnight so cannot comment the quality of the rooms. Services and conference rooms all fine. Food of reasonable quality. Main gripe was on-site parking- expensive; only one ticket machine to pay for parking to leave with a long queue waiting to use it which was broken and not accepting credit cards. Also lift from parking to lobby was very old and felt like it would break down as it was used.
D. O.
The room was tired and in need of a renovation but clean. The rubber bath mat looked grubby, only one dressing gown for a double room, no mini bar, no complimentary conditioner or biscuits for the tea - you had to pay for Wifi, no booklet detailing facilities, menus, etc. key card failed, but staff were polite and professional.
M. T.
great location.. room adequate.. bathroom great bench.. shower taps down low.. bit of a challenge to not get drenched while turning them on/off. Great view of the MCG. And Fitzroy Gardens next door.. a real treat.
Buffet breakfast ticked all the boxes. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Tram stop right out front.. easy to get into the city.

The hotel was amazing. Staff were all fantastic. Room had great views and was very clean. Bar and breakfast was delightful. Our family had a wonderful stay!
I. S.
Great staff. Would like to mention Hannah for sorting the reservation Mardi Claire and KD. Great Job guys keep up the good work. Hotel needs an upgrade and I m sure the refurbishment is in progress other wise fantastic hotel enjoyed
D. M.
The Pullman staff provided us with an upgrade on our first night there for our 25th wedding anniversary. They went out of their way to give us a great room, bottle of red wine, congratulations and well wishes (it was also the first time in 20+ years that we had managed to get away without our children!).
On subsequent nights, however, we were placed on the same floor as airline staff who seemed to come and go at all times of the night - banging doors, talking loudly in the corridor, knocking walls, etc. When we made the reception staff aware of it on the third day, they promptly moved us to a different floor. It was unfortunate that we had been placed on that floor in the first place!
It is a great location, close to the city and transport.

I got my room very fast as I did not have any booking . I was able to park my car under the hotel . My room was great very clean and everything was in order . There were some reno so i got noise from 7 am but when I did mentioned about about it at the Reception they redeemed my payment for the parking fees . Great staff --was very friendly and supportive . I will be back ...and the breakfast was one of the best huge variety and friendly staff ...
J. S.
Having booked through Serko I wasn't aware that the hotel was undergoing renovations. When I arrived my anxiety kicked in however I was pleasantly surprised that even though we were on an unrenovated floor the standard still good. The only area of a little disappointment was that the bathroom/plumbing was a little loud.
L. G.
Enjoyed time at Pullman and had great views and good sleep.
Unfortunately dining was only offered as a buffet option. On complaining no a-la-carte menu available was offered the in-room dining menu. This is hardly the expectation of a major star hotel.
J. B.
Ideal location to access MCG, (being purpose of our trip), also easy access to city on tram.
Love the upgrade & renovations, since our last stay. Bar area great spot to catch up with family & friends before & after game, & even the convenience of getting a decent hot chocolate & paper from a very helpful & friendly staff member whilst my partner had a sleep in in peace. Thanks again, won't hesitate to return, disappointed it won't be for the Grand Final, from one disappointed Sydney Swans member.
C. D.
Great location, very walkable and easy access to transit options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food and beverages are also great. I would highly recommend this hotel.
A. B.
Stayed at the Pullman for the Australia V Brazil game at the MCG. Room needs renovations. Bathroom is looking old. Stayed at The Crown Towers 3 weeks earlier for the same around the same price and the rooms were much better. Only two choices of beer in the Club Lounge is not good enough. The service however was great.
D. K.
A nice and quiet hotel to stay. Pullman is just close to a beautiful park nice for running, bike riding and relaxation. Not too far from the city centre and across is a big stadium I believe is a legendary cricket ground. Nice staff and comfy beds...
D. H.
Excellent stay with unobtrusive service but there when required with the right information. Hopefully the new lobby and restaurant will be ready soon to improve this area. The rooms were great and the stay was very comfortable.
T. “. H.
I wanted to write: best place ever, but there is a 200 word minimum :) So i can explain.. Big Corn island is a pretty basic place, but lovely and very authentic. We were looking for a nice beach and some private time.. Well this was a dream come true. Especially for big corn! The guys working there were so friendly, they came running to help us and to be honest. You dont need much else than the view and the beach in front of the hotel. Private white sand beach and clear blue waters.. It felt like a dream!
For dinner: the first place from the hotel has Great lobster with garlic sauce!!
N. L.
Check in staff can be really rude and never smile especially when you arrive in the late at night. Been there couple times but they are not very welcoming. Hotel is a bit old even though they did a bit of renovation but doesn’t see a huge changes. The only good thing is it’s close by to public transport to take you to the city.
C. H.
Had to take away stars because the Wi-Fi was very unreliable. Excellent breakfast. Tram stops right next to hotel. Easy access to the CBD (central business district). Park next door. If the Wi-Fi was reliable, I would rate 5 stars.
C. V. (.
Location is great - Albert Park at your doorstep & the city close by. Staff were very professional & friendly, & the decor provided a relaxed environment. The only real downfall (& not the hotels fault) is accessing the hotel by car - the traffic is generally heavy, hiwever peakhour its a nightmare - but as i said, not the fault of the hotel
L. M.
The Pullman remains my hotel of choice in Melbourne. It's position opposite the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens ensure a lovely 15 minute walk into the heart of the city. A tram stop outside the hotel gets you there in 10 minutes. The renovated lobby & restaurant look great. The reception staff & those working in the restaurant are friendly , helpful & knowledgeable. If you get the opportunity the service in the Executive Lounge is excellent & I highly recommend it.
R. J.
After a small delay checking in due to a computer glitch, we were amply compensated with a room upgrade. This was a complimentary reward night stay - and it couldn't have been better. Empathetic service - great room - quiet - sensational dining space.
J. T.
Very comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfast items. Only negative was the very noisy plumbing, everytime any room around us turned on a tap or flushed a toilet, we heard it, loudly. Still had a good night's sleep though.
N. K.
staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only negative was that the shower area in our room was not really clean (mould on tiles). We also had very noisy neighbors (small children).
I don't understand why complementary water is not offered?
P. M.
Location, room & customer service excellent (particularly Concierge - Valet Parking) as always. Look forward to returning again after renovations are completed. Unfortunately to cold to swim in outdoor pool. Should have upgraded to executive floor access room.
R. M.
Exceptional service by all the staff here. Sonia was exceptionally great and helpful from the very first interaction. A great asset to the pullman team. Keep up the great work !! See you soon again
E. R.
Rooms were amazing, we got upgraded to the 20th floor which was spectacular. The staff treat you like royalty and are happy to help with anything. We walked to Brunswick street casually in about half an hour, otherwise the tram stop is literally right out the front of the hotel which takes you down Collins street.
G. C. (.
From the booking by phone to the checkout, this was a very enjoyable experience. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot praise them highly enough. The ongoing renovations were a small issue, with limited dining options, but these should be completed very soon.
The close proximity to attractions is also a big feature of the Pullman. With the MCG across the road, a tram stop to the CBD or to the major shopping precinct in Bridge Rd virtually at the front door, and a beautiful park right next door, the Pullman has a lot to offer.
We are looking forward to our next visit in the near future.
A. M.
The reception area is wonderfully renovated but the rooms are still old! A lot of noise from construction outside but the inroom dining is amazing, especially good if vegan/vegetarian/glutenfree
W. W.
The experience was not as good as we expected. I think this hotel has been incorrectly branded. It should be branded as a Mecure. Staff were really lovely, the rooms were the let down. To turn the taps on in the shower was a very ordinary experience
S. P.
Came for breakfast with as friends were staying here.
First, the coconut youghurt was a winner, A+. Omlete chef was lovely and pastry was flacky and tastey.
Fruit, vegetables and cereals were as advertised, hard to do wrong or right.
And the Bad. Coffee is from a machine and tastes like it. Hot foods below average with the bacon a real downer. Not quite crispy but also not tender and lightly cooked. Some weird, leathery in between.
Love the view though.
B. J.
Great staff make the service natural and friendly. Enjoyed the food in the modern and we'll appointed restaurant. The rooms could do with an update but with all amenities.
T. B.
Once again a great stay. Only downside was the bar and restaurant were being refurbished so my planned catch with friends at your property did not happen. At the time of my previous stay the gym was closed due to refurbishment. Whilst I understand and support the changes, the timing twice now has been unfortunate and not disclosed at the time of booking.
J. W.
Parents retreat for this Melbourne couple. Had a great stay and the only shortfall was the renovations in the common areas, which we understand is unavoidable. Look forward to coming back when it is all completed. Hotel was a great location, with good facilities and we were very happy to have a corner room on Lev9.
S. A.
Company trip staying at The Pullman Melbourne on the Park. Executive suite. Customer service was exceptional. Meals were awesome. Room overlooking the park. Only negative, the access to the executive lounge has limited hours for drinks between 6-8pm.
B. C.
We have stayed at Pullman on The Park several times and always has sensational service and a great stay. The service has not changed but the experience was not as good this time. Normally upgraded as a silver Accor member this time we were not. It was so hot in the room we could not sleep and only finally found the heat control the next morning inside the area where the kettle was. The TV did not work.
R. B.
I recently stayed at the Pullman to attend an AFL game at the MCG situated just across the road. The staff could see I was late for the game and were excellent in checking me in and even taking my bags to the room for me whilst valet parking the car.
I got back to my very comfortable room to find the lights and heater on and bags there. All the staff I dealt with were excellent.
P. M.
Went here for breakfast on Easter Sunday. Service was impeccable despite the relocation of the restaurant to the first floor. Breakfast was tasty, but needed more variety. Stayed here on one occasions, rooms are super nice.
S. A.
Excellent venue for conferences and events. Great service and beautiful food. Rooms getting an upgrade soon too which will make it 5 star!
j.
I flew my plane from Brisbane to Melbourne with the express intention if staying here. It was once the Hilton hotel and I used to watch it being constructed in 1969/70. Young lady on reception was friendly and I was Upgraded for free for some reason to a prime corner suite overlooking Fitzroy gardens ..how good is that. .
B. b.
We had a fantastic weekend at the Pullman Melbourne On The Park, our team winning the AFL Grand Final made it even more special. All the staff we had contact with were excellent and very courteous they will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.
We recommend the executive package that will give you access to the lounge on the 18th floor where you well looked after by the staff
V. J.
I went down to Peak Conference,my partner joined me after to stay for a weekend. We had very nice time! Staff as Fernando and another French gentleman were fablouse, with huge smile and sense of humor..Breakfast is a must, renovated area with many variety if food, all done fresh! You can make even your own fresh juice on spot. Guys who was looking after us while conference in ballrooms were very friendly and tried to engaged with all of us. Location just 10 min walk to city or just 3 tram stops.
I would like to come back 100%. Park for running just outside, all you see is green from your window. Guys you are doing great work!!
Again thank yo so much!
S. G.
What a wonderful experience to have stayed in such a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, and with a view of the MCG and AAMI Park. As we checked in early, staff went out of their way to get our room ready as quickly as possible, and made sure we were on the same floor as friends staying in hotel. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Melbourne.
M. O.
Room was a little small but had a great view from the 12th floor. it was very nice decor, very clean. No free Wi-Fi except for 50mb which is nothing. Very friendly and helpful staff
M. S.
I'm staying here at the moment, the hotel and facilities are good, staff are good, but the constant wind whistle through the room is crazy, it's none stop and keeps you awake.. I'm not sure if it's just my floor or the whole hotel, I'm on the 17th floor..
It would definitely stop me from staying again...
J.
My choice of hotel on Melbourne. Great location, convenient underground parking, and well equipped gym and pool - well priced rooms to boot. I have stayed here probably 20-30 times over the past 2 years and it never disappoints. The refurb on The Cliveden looks good, and I can’t wait until they do the rooms.
L. C.
A quality hotel across from the MCG and a short walk to tram stops and a bit further of you want walk to the CBD. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only drawback was the cost of the buffet in the restaurant. Very expensive for the limited food options available.
M. D.
Really nice hotel in a great location with fantastic, friendly staff.
The rooms are very nice and well kept, the bar is cosy and friendly, and the restaurant offers great food.
I recommend this hotel as a business or leisure guest.
G. M.
I'm writing to commend your staff, particularly one of the room service staff, Cyrus for his exccelent customer service. I had to change my order and he changed it for me without any hesitation. Very polite and proffessional. Thank you Cyrus.
P. P.
Excellent location for MCG events. Disappointed with internet access - Accor club membership had ‘Free’ internet access but they don’t tell you the free connection has a bandwidth limit of 512kb/s! Virtually unusable for and web based apps. To get a decent speed costs $10/day, and it also took over 30 minutes with their tech support to the upgrade purchase to work.
When will ‘premium’ hotels like Pullman catch up with the rest of the world and just include unlimited internet access with the room?
P. a. A. D.
Handy to MCG and nice walk to town. Disappointed in the bathroom. Had to flush the toilet twice each time to get it to work. Shower taps are problematic to use without instructions. If you turn the lower tap on first to adjust the water temperature the fitting is very stiff to turn to get the shower to work in a hurry. Also the hot water was lukewarm except at 6am. Also having a stingy toilet paper dispenser is inappropriate in a well priced hotel.
M. C.
Good as always but very problematic due to the lift service being closed to ground and the car parking levels. Notice wasn't given prior to arrival and the letter was not left in the room until after the event started. Perhaps a message on the screen in each room. Saying that though, the staff was very pleasant and I am sure that they were more inconvenienced than I was.
J. M.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent coffee. Easy parking right out front. We’ll be back.
L. M.
Great location opposite the MCG and just a short walk accross Fitzroy Gardens to the city. Staff all work very hard to make our stay special. Rooms are smallish but adequate. Executive lounge is a must!. We will be back soon.
M. R.
Stayed overnight for the Accor Vacation Members event. Wasn't happy with our original room as it backed onto the lifts. Rang through to reception & asked to be moved which wasn't a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
J. M.
great friendly staff, great space for a conference and just an all around nice vibe. Access via public transport is perfect (tram stop just outside) and it's right next to the beautiful Fitzroy Park and across the tracks from the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
L. R.
Lovely clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Plumbing in toilet terrible gurgled during the night whenever the toilet next door was flushed. Once everyone was tucked up in bed it was fine. Until someone got up to use the toilet It woke us up
D. P.
It was a bit disappointing that we arrived when the extensions were being undertaken - I think it was the lobby that attracted us when we stayed here earlier in the year. Having said that, we fully appreciate that there is no good time to undertake refurbishment.
Although it's probably not a Pullman Hotel issue, it was also disappointing that the Skybus Hotel Drop-off didn't service the hotel. Unfortunately, this means that we may need to stay closer to town next time.
D. F. (.
Staff always welcoming and helpful. Restaurant is warm and food was great. A great venue for work events.... Catering and service was excellent. Tram stop right outside was handy for touring into the city!!
I. K.
Lovely place. Not over the top and have the best tapas! Close to tram stop. station. MSG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) and the Rod Laver Tennis Arena. Yes, I'd definitely stay here again.
F. H.
It is a pity that the original restaurant is under renovation. However we enjoy a very good weekend at your corner suite. All the facilities including swimming pool, spa, gym are fantastic. Great location to the city.
F. B. (.
Really sad to see the ambience which was such an attraction has been, or is the process of being destroyed, a restoration to bring it back to its former high standard would have been great. . Eg fixing the rippely carpet underlay on the first floor
Hope you are incorporating a sports bar/ lounge for those noisy weekend football/tennis followers.
So that the rest of your guests can at least enjoy and hear ourselves in the restaurant and bars
S. L.
Try their food at lobby, they’ve just finished renovation and it looked great!
M. W.
I attended a conference here. The staff were friendly and accomodating. It was a great conference venue with plenty of different sized rooms for the various sessions as well as for vendors.
a. a.
Very relaxing. Enjoyed all the well being facilities on the 2nd floor. Loved the fine dining and found staff very attentive and friendly. Room was nice and clean.
P. M.
Service was great but the the building and rooms are becoming dated. The restaurant and bar are very over priced, with the meals of a terrible standard and size considering the price - my young children still would have been hungry . I would stay there again but will be finding somewhere else to enjoy my meals.
J. J.
My partner and I decided to stay at Pullman Melbourne on the Park as it was the hotel of choice for a friend's wedding. The customer service started off strong, as we booked with the hotel directly. When we arrived the Valet was professional, cheerful and courteous. The concierge/reception was helpful and efficient, during an obviously busy time in Melbourne. The room was well presented and comfortable.
N. B.
Stayed 3 nights in Executive room, Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms clean and well looked after.
Food in breakfast was good but with more variety will be better.
Will be back in this hotel, I like it.
a. f.
Was a nice hotel. Good location. Rooms clean and pleasant. Food not great. Looks amazing but quality and flavours not there.
L. O.
We stayed for 2 nights in a Delux Superior Room overlooking the MCG to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was more than accommodating in helping us celebrate our special day. Would definitely stay again.
R. P.
It was good, although I am looking forward to the renovations being finished and the hotel gets back to full swing.
Also a big shout out to the excellent work the front desk staff are doing in the current working conditions.
v. s.
One of the best hotels in Melbourne. Placed right in front of the famous MCG Stadium and next to the garden. This hotel is right at the edge of the CBD area which makes it a perfect location because you are not on a very busy road but on a walking distance to everything.
J. H.
Everything what you would expect from Pullman. Friendly staff, good buffe choice at he breakfast. Comfortable room. Fitness room is also sufficiently equipped.
E. H.
I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff were lovely, the room very clean and roomy and it was a fantastic location.. I was so comfortable I slept in which I almost never do.
P. A.
Amazing views from the top overlooking Melbournes sporting precinct and ac Ross to the bay. A tree lined stroll to the city. Fantastic food and a chilled bar for after event festivities.
F. 2.
Amazing view from our room, love it. It's in a very accessible location, right opposite to Jollymont station so it is a great place to stay if visiting Melbourne. I would definitely come again!
S. M.
We were celebrating my daughters birthday and we absolutely loved the lunch at Pullman on the Park. Had a lovely table over looking the park across the road. Food was great, plenty of fresh oysters, prawns. A seafood lovers paradise. Loved their candy section. But I did want to mention the staff. They were brilliant. Two in particular, Brian and Stephanie. Both waiting staff who have been working there for years. They were very attentive and it's such a pleasure to have staff like that who enjoy their job, and it shows.
S. C.
Poor quality for a being a Pullman. Had problems with the key, smoking smell was pungent in the room, and bad cleaning, but the staff seemed to be indifferent and took forever before sending help. So disappointing.
S. J.
Visited for a function. The level of detail was quite extraordinary. It was a casino themed event and had gaming tables, rather good chocolate Casino chips, the bar was appropriately themed also. The finger food was some original twists on your regular finger food fare. All in all, a great night.
W. C. L.
The ambience in the cafe is really good for casual meetings and I especially love my flat white. The bartender was very serious about his coffee and took great care in making my coffee. Love it.
M. T.
The rooms are great, and as expected. However the lifts, hallways, and some other areas are dated. It needs a new set of lifts, only 2 of the 4 were working while I was attending a conference there
L. “.
Lovely staff, lovely facilities. Very comfortable King Bed. Food in downstairs restaurant was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Would happily return.
D. L.
High quality and polite staff make it a pleasure to stay here. Great pool and facilities. The food and drink range is fantastic. Good rooms.
A. S.
Room was appropriate for the function, dinner was great but the timing of the event didn't allow for us to enjoy the dessert of cheese which was disappointing. The reception didn't know about our event and almost sent me to another Pullman. Parking was a nightmare, was given an exit pass but it didn't work. Had to use the intercom.
L. S.
This is where I tell visitors to stay in Melbourne - I think it has the largest rooms of a hotel of its class, and its close enough to the CBD to do everything you need to, but still very quiet. The gardens nearby are great for a walk.
P.
Wonderful experience at Pullman, being greeted by Emily at check in and was given an upgrade and complementary drinks in recognition of my status and the special occasion. Room overlooking MCG, and donuts in the room. Couldn't fault the stay and would stay again.
g.
Staff are very helpful. Clean rooms. Excellent views. But the rooms ect need a upgrade, not just the bathroom
p. d.
Every assistance was given from the moment the car pulled up. Reception was efficient and helpful with my specific needs. The room was a decent size and comfortable, and as advertised.
S. C.
One of the best located hotels in Melbourne - Bang opposite to the MCG and across the Rod Laver Arena. The food is good as well, the view is awesome and runs so clean. Staff does its best as well to help. Will visit again.
I. C.
Nice, decent place to stay being here on a conference. Decor in-room is a bit tired and looks a bit old and weathered. Otherwise clean, nice and friendly staff.
C. C.
Everything was fine, it was a little uncomfortable to have contractors working around the hotel, but as this is temporary, and for improving our experience, it is understandable. So, I can say that, overall my experience was great and recommendable.
J. C.
Attended a function tonight . Food was superb especially the entrée is well presented and test amazing , staff were friendly and attentive. Table settings were clean and professional. Overall a great experience
K. R.
Great location to go to a game at the MCG, perfect for catching a tram into to the city. Our kids loved the stay and so did we. Would book again, thank you. The staff where so friendly.
C. M.
We really enjoyed our stay in a club room and were looked after very well by the staff!
The room was great and had all we needed. We would be very happy to return!
L. G.
Enjoyed it but our outlook was of this terrible mess of the roof above reception. Also the lifts take for ever to arrive! Very frustrating since we couldn't actually tell where they were because the floor number didn't highlight above the door
K. F.
A grand and impressive venue to hold your corporate events and wedding reception. With the newly renovated look , the Pullman on the Park is convenient and accessible. As a flower supplier , this venue makes it so easy for us to deliver, setup and packdown flower arrangements at Kelleeflowers.
A. P.
Stayed for a few days for my wedding, room was huge and extremely well furnished with great views. Restaurant was also brilliant, quiet and low key but food was outstanding.
S. D.
Gorgeous lobby. The floors however smell like old moldy carpet. Breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly. The pool was closed the whole stay which was very disappointing
D. T.
We were greeted by friendly staff at reception and the check-in experience was seemless. Our corner suite room was roomy and comfortable with all the amenities we wanted.
D. H.
Pretty nice hotel-- it was under renovation when I stayed. The room is VERY dimly lit thus the 4 stars. They have nice amenities though and I slept well.
K. N.
Great location with average amenities. Wi-Fi needs improvement. Breakfast is good. Room service is pour, specially late dining
L. C.
Room was clean, great bar atmosphere, food was served hot. Nice breakfast, right across from the MCG, what more could you ask for.
V. T.
Excellent service by the Overnight team in the Front Office!
L. S.
The room was not set up properly. On arrival, we got two single beds, when it should have been a queen or king bed. The TV kept losing the reception and the with compliments card had somebody else's name on it.
R. A.
Excellent welcome and assistance from staff. Rooms very comfortable. Regular stayed.usegul public transport services to CBD.
P. H.
Staff very helpful and pleasant. Nothing too much trouble. Everyone smiling and courteous.Could'nt fault your establishment. A very positive experience.
P. M.
Location, room & customer service excellent (particularly Concierge - Valet Parking) as always. Look forward to returning again after renovations are completed. Unfortunately to cold to swim in outdoor pool. Should have upgraded to executive floor access room.
P.
Loved it. We are regulars. The waiting staff remember us every time we are there. I love the fact they like to chat with us. Like catching up with old acquaintances.
J. O.
Helpful and accommodating from Reservation to Checkout. Lovely catering for conference. One of the best catering to a variety of tastes and needs and comfortable environment. Wonderful conference lunches!
S. C.
One of the best located hotels in Melbourne - Bang opposite to the MCG and across the Rod Laver Arena. The food is good as well, the view is awesome and runs so clean. Staff does its best as well to help. Will visit again.

Great service, bar staff, Avo & others seem to really love there job. Great place to stay while visiting the MCG or Melbourne

Handy to MCG and nice walk to town. Disappointed in the bathroom. Had to flush the toilet twice each time to get it to work. Shower taps are problematic to use without instructions. If you turn the lower tap on first to adjust the water …

Pretty nice hotel-- it was under renovation when I stayed. The room is VERY dimly lit thus the 4 stars. They have nice amenities though and I slept well.

Awesome customer service, rooms are a bit dated though. Buffet Breakfast was awesome!

Helpful and accommodating from Reservation to Checkout. Lovely catering for conference. One of the best catering to a variety of tastes and needs and comfortable environment. Wonderful conference lunches!
B. H.
Had a fantastic experience staying at this 🏨. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean and spacious
J. B.
A group of 5 of us came in for the buffet before the footy, the service and food was amazing. A special mention to Emma Turner who went above and beyond to assist us with an issue we had.
M. B.
We booked for the wrong night through WOTIF by mistake and the staff at Pullman were so amazing they really took care of us. Michelle at check in was so fantastic! Thanks for making our anniversary so great!
S. M.
Smooth check in & check out. Great sized room & bathroom (superior king) . A short walk to MCG & tennis centre. Walking distance to CBD restaurants and shopping.
Friendly, helpful front desk team.
j. r.
We enjoyed the hospitality in our stay the moment we checked in till we checked out. Staff, food and breakfast buffet were excellent. You made our day!
K. P.
Very kind and helpful staff assisted me and my family when we required accomodation at short notice close to the hospital we needed to access. Thank you for hosting our visit and making a difficult time a bit easier for us.
M. H.
I booked online earlier that day but accidentally booked a date in May! on arrival hayden at the front desk was great in sorting things out for us we booked and paid for another room which was more expensive but a better room and all ended well. Big thanks to Hayden he handled the situation well.
C. H.
Great location. However, an old hotel with musty smell and poor service when you request for late check-out.
C. P.
Needs refreshing. Room 201 was noisy, not sure if close from some sort of machinery. For full disclosure I was out there by an airline after a flight cancellation so they might have put us in the worse rooms.
A. S.
Bed Base wasn't clean and traces of vomit was there nothing more to say after this even if they decided to change the room after more than half an hour waiting without being informed what is going to happen !
The hotel always has room cleaning issues .
C. C.
The Pullman on the Park now takes travelling to a new level. Whether you're there to see the the Australian Open or a Test Match, the Pullman accomodates any guest. The location is close to the CBD, just a short walk across the Park. Or hop on a train or tram to all that Melbourne has to offer. The newly renovated open bar & reception adds elegance to this sophisticated hotel.
A. F.
Was here for a conference. Very clean and tidy conference space. Well operated tech staff and very friendly wait staff. Food servings were good.
F. J.
Amazing buffet breakfast and nice rooms, lovely views of the park. It felt a little bit old though and certain things could be improved ie the shower/bathroom
M. K.
We stayed 4 nights and we loved it, very clean and tidy, with the best service that we could have asked for,we already have mentioned it to family and friends ..what agreat place to stay, train and trams right outside the front door and beautiful parks across the road for walking, the river walk and the CBD are so close..we walked there most days.
Thanks again Murray and Liz Kitching
S. C.
Newly refurbished and looks modern and classy. Breakfast great loads of variety. 18th floor for Executive levels is wonderful with great views
a. k.
Room was nice. Aircon took long time to heat. Close to CBD. Restaurant does not have many dinner options. Breakfast was delicious.
A. R.
Very good location. Extremely convenient for attending events at the MCG. Car park somewhat cramped but not unexpected given location. Rooms well maintained. Bathrooms modest, but clean.
S. C.
Nice rooms , great service
The door man greeted us well and even though we are local helped us with all things new at the park on the weekend
Great getaway
M. W.
Great location, just out of the Melbourne CBD hustle & bustle. Located right next to Fitroy Gardens, enjoy a nice walk, but a great spot for sporting events at the MCG or Tennis Centre.
A. A.
Pretty good location. Half hour walk to central city though. Rooms are clean. Showering facility is a bit awkward but it works. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
C. W.
Attended a work conference here. Easy access to transport which was great. Also the heating was perfect. Very comfortable environment to sit and listen for long periods of time.
E. N.
Great location. Close to MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Hisense Arena. I was in town for an event and the location meant I could walk instead of driving in Melbourne traffic (which I can't stand). Hotel very helpful staff, with the exception of the housekeeper team.
J. C.
Great stay...wonderful staff couldn't do enough for you. As ommodation very comfortable ...food delicious...all in all great stay highly recommend The Pullman on the Park

Very good hotel with amazing view and rooms. The bar menu was a little expensive, a burger and drink ended up costing $40 however it seemed after some research that other restaurants in that area were also quite expensive.

Enjoyed a 3-day professional editors' conference at Pullman on the Park in May 2019.. Luxurious venue, spacious and spotless with plenty of underground parking and friendly efficient staff at all hours.

Rooms are shabby and not as clean as one would wish. Staff is attentive and helpful and breakfast is OK. General housekeeping is below average.
T. N.
Nice room. Customer service is excellent. Easy parking. Good breakfast. Shower water pressure is weak however

Given a long 7 hour drive and arriving at a busy time after the football the room was comfortable. The staff at checkin were quite busy when I arrived however very professional.

Got a free night so no complain. Been to better resort. XD Service is good, good atmosphere, food is fine and the best is, it is a walking distance to the City.

The hotel is in a nice location and the staff are friendly and helpful. The price of the drinks were a little higher than expected. But overall I think that I will come back.

A good place to stay. Nice view of the cricket ground MCG. What i dont like in australia hotels is they donot provide complementary water bottles and wifi

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Just rooms are little old. Needs to renew the furniture and the bathroom
M. S.
We stayed three nights, lovely hotel, breakfast was nice, our room was located near the lifts which unfortunately kept me up most of the night each night. Very noisy, returned home extremely tired, which annoyed me considering we chose this hotel to relax.

Very, very good. Samul was our main person of contact, and after the busy AFL Football Friday night, he kindly offered us a room upgrade which was much appreciated.

The Pullman series is always nice hotels, however this one was halfway through a refit when I stayed. It was in need of one, as are the rooms. It will be nice to see the finished product.

Great views and location . The staff were very helpful and the pool is very nice.
It was a good experience overall .

The room was super big and comfy with a beautiful view over the park to the city.Staff were very attentive and the hotel in general exceeded all expectations.
H. M.
Good service and food, very quiet as the hotel is about to close for renovations
R. D.
Great location next to Fitzroy Gardens. Older style hotel with the charm and sometimes lack of modern fittings that that implies. Also good if your in Melbourne for anything sport related as it's very close to the MCG.
R. A.
Excellent welcome and assistance from staff. Rooms very comfortable. Regular stayed.usegul public transport services to CBD.
K. J.
Went here for breakfast post ballooning so will always be a special place to me - breakfast was ok - have never stayed so don't know what the rooms are like - great location for the MCG or stadiums
S. S.
Lovely hotel, good location..friendly staff. The breakfast was great.Didn't require much extra attention from staff but very pleased with general service.Would return with confidence.

We had a very pleasant stay. We were happy with the food, the service and the room we received. As a result we will be returning.

The Pullman Melbourne On the Park is a nice hotel and in a great location adjacent to the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, with good carparking and close to a tram stop for quick access to the Melbourne CBD. It's also very pleasant just walking from the hotel through the Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens to get to Spring Street and the east end of the CBD and to the State Government Offices where we needed to get to. It's also close to St Vincent's Private Hospital in East Melbourne and the Epworth Hospital in Richmond. So yes it's in a perfect location.

your staff make your hotel very memorable. Arg in the restaurant was fantastic with my soccer mad son and took the time to answer his questions.
A. B.
Very nice place. Attended a presentation here and everything was comfortable. Very close to public transport and parking. The coffee was great too.
N. K.
Fantastic vibe an enjoyable visit after the footy at the MCG. A very decent crowd of people. Compliments to barman Jeremy who was extremely friendly and made great cocktails.

Hotel is excellent for corporate events, very nice spaces for large groups. Food is average and rooms are a bit tired however.
A. D.
Comfortable beds. Dated rooms. Hot water system needs improvement. Run water for a good 5 minutes before it heated up!
K.
Was there for a corporate event and they provided a great range of food to cater for everyone. The theatre room was large and service was fantastic.
S. C.
They were unprofessional at times. Rooms are also average, nothing like a high class five stars. And also they lack options in beeakfast
S. G.
Great view of one the World's most iconic stadiums, the MCG. Room was clean and well presented. Not as modern as one would expect but all mod cons are available.
A. S.
good location, if you looking for green space the park just in front of the hotel and shopping area is walking distance and there is convenience store 4min walking
S. Y.
Great location close to transport, nice rooms, good gym, great buffet breakfast but a very basic menu for dinner. The restaurant could have more of a variety.
S. S.
Hi, it's a great property. But this trip was all about the hotel being renovated. Am sure once done, it will return back to its old glory.
Best regards,
A. M. D.
The best beds. A little tired decor but the service is good, wine bar pretty decent and the main areas are good to hang in.
M. F.
This place is awesome at its spot which close to city but remember that they don't provide disposable slipper (feet cold all night long), dustbin no plastic bag (no liquid rubbish), not provide tooth paste and tooth brush, wifi always disconnected and room light too dark.
C. B.
I went there just to see a friend, but the door man was really nice to me. The accomodation was very comfortable and spacious. My friend was loving the experience.
J. G.
Only stayed one night. Great place to crash out. Apart from someone's screaming kids in the corridor next morning everything was great.
M. P.
Brilliant location with comfortable rooms. Staff are always helpful, I'm not sure why all the poor reviews. True 4 star hotel!
L. S.
Used their car park for casual parking. Their ticket machine was out of order but the staff were super friendly and helpful. Parking was tight, though - wouldn't recommend for larger vehicles.
S. S.
No free wifi, no complementary water bottle in your room. 25 mins far from the city centre, but close to a beautiful park.
M. H.
Room was a decent size but the shower over the operation was really bad in all 3 rooms I stayed in (all the same) .....
K. A.
Comfortable and pleasant and interestingly, for the free wifi, it had the fastest wifi speed of the 3 Accor group hotels I stayed in during this trip.
M. F.
Great hotel, lovely and helpful staff who go a little above and beyond if you ask nicely to accommodate you.
E. A.
Awesome customer service, rooms are a bit dated though. Buffet Breakfast was awesome!
R. F.
First class room with great views.
Enjoyable dinner.
Looking forward to new dining room.
Friendly staff.
A. S.
Rooms are nice, breakfast is delocious. WiFi is free if you sign up for the rewards program, so do that!
J. W.
Great accomodation and friendly staff. Such a beautiful location too. If you want to stay on the city fringe you can't do any better.
M. P.
We have many fantastic memories spanning nearly forty year now it’s part of ACCOR group the executive club is ideal to meet with our business contacts and discuss business in a stunning location overlooking the city and M C G
The suites are spacious and well appointed
M. M.
Nice new foyer fit out - MCG room would have been a preference for a GOLD member upgrade rather than the rear construction site view.
F. L.
Went upstairs for a volunteer briefing, venue was spacious and the amenities were clean and easoly located. Sound system worked perfectly.
C. J. N.
I didn't actually stay at Pullman. I was visiting family there. Based on my 2 hours there, the ground lobby staff were friendly and had a good chat.
B. B.
