L. P.Rooms exceptionally good, large with lots of little touches to decor. Coffee machine and crockery a bonus. Restaurant and outdoor seating ideal for meals or casual drinks. Driveway and garden will be great when updated and pool area finished, but there is lots of room outside to enjoy. Well located, walking distance to Lancefield shops and Hotel for dinner. Short drive to wineries. Happy to return.
Z. R.The Lancefield Lodge is a very beautiful place, the accommodation itself is immaculate - modern, clean and spacious. It is the little things like modern appliances, a microwave and coffee maching and an amazing mini bar. The hosts Peter and Danielle are absolutely so gracious and helpful. The location is perfect, close to other townships such as Kyneton, Daylesford, Woodend and Romsey. The grounds and facilities are also incredibly well maintained and the pool a highlight! Granted it was a very quiet time over Xmas/New Year period but the stay was just what we needed and having such obliging and lovely owners to offer local advice was the best. Thank you both, will definitely return.

The venue is small enough to get personalized service and flexibility to your specific requirements, the location is an easy drive from Melbourne and convenient to the airport. Pete and Danielle are tremendous hosts who are constantly making improvements to the facility also.
R. L. S.Arrived after dark on a chilly night to a friendly welcome and a warm room. When I wandered up to the wine bar/restaurant I was seated at a table with a fascinating local couple who were friendly and engaging as were my hosts. The food was totally edible and quirky and yum. The rooms are well insulated against noise. All in all a delightful part of my business trip .
K. G.A hidden gem on my way to Hepburn Springs! Beautiful location, the decor, the ambience! The owners are a delight- they go above and beyond & personalize your stay & make you feel welcome. The wine bar is fun and vibrant, the food is delicious and well presented. The accommodation is nice too. Do pay this place a visit.
P. T.We stayed at The Lancefield recently for two(2) nights. The owners Peter and Danielle were great hosts and extremely helpful. The room we had was furnished to an extremely high stand, similar to that to a 4.5-5 star hotel. Games room came in handy on the cold afternoon, pool table, table tennis and more. They have setup a nice wine bar and great wineries not too far away. A great escape that isn't too far away from Melbourne.

B. B.It started with a friendly welcome and good directions to my room and the other amenities. My room was well appointed and clean, without the typical motel room smell (no masking air freshener).
Luckily I asked about meals. For my three night stay I was treated to a delicious and generous home cooked meals which was far superior to pub fare. Yes, damn good value too.
The nights were quite, the outlook from the rooms are leafy green and pleasant. The pool looks very inviting. Next time I will bring my trunks.
M. B.Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place nestled among the mt macedon ranges.Its a wonderful place for couples or families. The bar has great collection of some local wines and delicious food. Peter and Danielle make you feel at home. Definitely will visit again.

The room was fantastic, comfortable King bed, jar of freshly ground beans for use in the espresso machine and great customer service. It is obvious that Danielle and Peter have worked really hard at renovating the place and the new Wine Bar area looks fantastic, will definitely have to come back again.

M. S.Had a 4 night stay while visiting family. While still motel style Peter and Danielle have done a great job of creating a point of difference with country style furnishings to rooms and creating a cosy, friendly wine bar, restraunt where they and their friendly staff welcome you and make you feel at ease.
Great food and while bar closed on Monday Danielle provided us with meals to ouf room. Thankyou and we will be back.

C.Not just a place to stay. Great wine room and new bar, wide choice of wines and beers. Sat outside and watched the sun set with some tasty sliders, pie floater and a few glasses. Attentive staff, good value. We’ll be back to try the ribs!
