⭐️ for the room no.9. The window above the door, you cant cover it with a curtain or smth else. That really sucks, cos the whole time 24h the light is on outside. That means, when you try to sleep during the night, it’s always light in your room. That needed to be fixed to get a higher rating.
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ if you like parties and a lively place, then you will love it here, but if you more a kind of a quiet person, it could be a bit to noisy for you.

唐.This hostel is really good, it has a great environment that I can feel relax. Here I met many good people from different places, receptors give me strong impression. One man of receptors is Huey who is really nice and gentle 😊, we talked about many things and I felt very comfortable talk to him. Anyway this hostel is suitable for people who want to meet new friends!
c.Lovely hostel situated in the middle of Northbridge, close to all nearby amenities and attractions, perfect location. Spacious and clean, comfortable beds and clean! One of the best hostels in Perth. Friendly staff make you feel welcome.
M. L.My experience at this hostel was mostly positive. This is a bit of a party hostel with many guest coming and going, most nights are spent drinking in the courtyard. The facilities are kept cleaned by the in house guests (mainly internationals subsidising their accommodation). The kitchen is well stocked with all you need from utensils to cutlery. I had a private room which was good to have some peace and quiet but could be compared to a prison cell in dimensions. As long as you abide to the rules you will have a good stay here.

T. R.I just loved the wooden shiny floors, the high ceilings, the walls without cheesy cheap graffiti so much, bright and airy. It adds style and sophistication. Very different from other hostels. This is definitely a few good notches up of the regular standard. Loved this place.

F.This hostel is wonderful because it is so bright and airy, there are beautiful wooden floors, no cheap and tasteless looking graffiti or pictures on the walls as is the case with many hostels, and it just simple, yet classy and stylish. It just feels good being there, it enhances your mood and the high ceilings offer so much space.

I’ve been staying at Britannia Hostel for some time now as a frequent guest. In fact I’ve been staying there countless times.
The place has been renovated under a new management. It looks very beautify, spacious and the facilities are clean and tidy. Very clean new wooden floor, nice looking furniture and modern lights.
It’s really very good value for money.
The staff are amazing and very helpful. But there is one in particular worker I would like to mention and thank for his great customer service.
Mr. Gwyn Nelson. He’s exceptionally good at his work and knowledgeable in the Perth surrounding areas and other things related to work his in general. He is always doing his best to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable to this wonderful place.
Good on you Gwyn. Keep up with the very good work.

R. S.My friends and I stayed in two twin rooms, which are still comfortable although they are not too spacious. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The public female bathroom and toilet are always kept clean. Recommended!
J. E.Best hostel we stayed at during our visit to Perth. Very clean everywhere, comfy beds, large kitchen and dining room, a TV room with a great collection of DVDs, a mini library and an outside courtyard. The courtyard is the highlight, it's full of people to meet and chat with every night. We met the owner who is a top chap and had some great stories about his time in Australia.

Kitchen is small, due to so many people staying here, not enough fridge for everyone. And people who stayed longer always hold the space in fridge, two time I saw empty space wanted to put my food in, they stopped me with really rude attitudes, it’s a hostel not your house.
The room I stayed near the kitchen and dining room, can hear people talking, and they talking till really late, and loud, even though there is a sign to tell people keep quiet after 10 or 11 pm, but no one cares, and no one to manage it.
If you are a light sleeper, recommend you to ask a room at 3rd floor, without kitchen and dining room.

M. (.The price is the enticing thing here, and the position. The hostel is a few blocks from the main train station, which is marks the start of the CBD and is in a very lively part of town. The toilet and shower facilities are kept scrupulously clean but the same cannot be said for the rooms, although they are not dirty. There is a staff member on duty 24hrs a day for security and assistance. A passing community service worker stopped to voulenteer to us that there were better places to stay nearby, for the same or similar money, and I think that this would undoubtedly be true.

Q. A.Great Hostel for backpacker, travelers, with shared and private rooms, big courtyard with BBQ, lot of space.
I stayed really long time in this place, as a guest, as a housekeeper, as a receptionist... It has been an amazing experience, so many good memories, meeting great people, playing games, organising bbq etc...
Being in Northbridge district allow you to truly experience Perth life, you have many cheap Asian restaurants close by (Thai, viet, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc...), many bars/nightclubs few minutes from there... There is a special vibe in this place, of course many people just stay few days as they travel around Australia, but I saw so many backpackers planning to go somewhere, but who finally end up in here for months, because they meet other travellers and enjoy themselves at Britannia!
I hope you will enjoy as much as I did, don't think too much and let it go :D
L. T.The staff are as warm and friendly as you could ask for. The backpackers, as mixed a bunch (including old transients like me) as you might expect - but nicer. The water pressure in the showers sucks, but better than a camp shower, and close to the City, the night scene, and the Cultural Centre (gallery, library er all) definitely a top score.

D.I’ve been coming to this hostel many times while I’ve been in Australia, it’s very clean, the staff is amazingly helpful and friendly, the ambience in the courtyard is very cool, full of international people, it’s also in the middle of Northbridge which is pretty convenient to go everywhere in Perth. We were not expecting much according to the old comments but we had an amazing surprise and had a really great stay. The prices are very good too and at last, it is in a really nice area with shops, restaurants and bars !

At the moment there are lots of renovations going on at the inside of the hostel but personally it doesn't bother me too much.
