L. I.Very elegant and unique hotel, felt like we were in a calm and serene place every time we step back inside the building. The bedroom we had is amazingly extra large. The lighting is a bit too soft for my liking but it adds to the mystery of the place. We love the indoor swimming pool, protected from the cool strong wind coming from the riverside and extreme heat during summer. Of course, I love the room freebies and service is as expected of a five star accommodation.

Facilities are open including two restaurants, bar, lounge and library. Apart from all most welcoming hospitality staff that welcome you. And serve you and feel like a home. Clean and fresh food, fresh juices and much more.

m.“BREATH TAKING & FABULOUS”.. stayed at The Como Treasury during our wedding recently and it was our PlanB option! I AM SO THRILLED we ended up here! Located conveniently near retail shops, food outlets AND ‘wedding photos’ here are a must! It was truly a marvellous stay and the set up for ‘Our Big Day’ exceeded our expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here, the Room we had was SO Spacious and simply luxurious, super Clean, outstanding customer service and the attention to details are second to none! Our heart felt thanks & gratitude to George & the Team for making our stay absolutely WONDERFUL and being so accommodating during our stay. S. C.Our 2-night stay at the Como Treasury was a wonderful experience. Right from check-in to check-out everything was seamless and the customer service was exceptional. Our Heritage room was spacious, modern and clean. Many of the bar fridge drinks were included and there was a selection of snacks also as well as Teassential tea and Nespresso machine. The decor was minimalist and tasteful and we loved everything from the floral arrangements to the lamps. Even the scent throughout the entire hotel was delightful. We loved the turndown service in the evening to freshen the room. The pool area was clean and looked inviting with new towels always folded at the end of the loungers. Would like to acknowledge the staff at Post and Cape Arid Rooms - the lovely lady that greeted us each morning and the waitstaff - Jake (?) and Tom - who were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items, and had great sense of humour. They were so helpful and didn’t judge us when we asked to box up the food we couldn’t finish to bring back to our room for later. In fact, all Como staff including those at reception, valet and Shambala Spa, were delightful. Highly recommend a stay at the Como. Perhaps the pricetag seems a lot higher than other hotels in Perth, but rest assured, you are paying for a quality experience.

The food simply is amazing. The effort that has gone into creating every element of each component was not wasted on us. The honey cheesecake was divine and the little extras like the vanilla cream with the scones and the crunch topping on the savoury tart just added to the flavour sensation.

S. G.I went to have a look in the Cathedral opposite the entrance.. A building Ive never taken a foot in.. Then I went for a look at the Como.. I thought it was still the State Treasury building or something.. Its a real flash hotel.. I was seriously underdressed fir this place, but the valet let me in for a look around. Theres a Chinese restaurant downstairs, a really nice Italian restaurant on the ground floor, a coffee shop, and a book shop in the old Post Office.. I thought the Post Office was in Wellington St, but I found out the original one was in this building.. Theres also a gymnasium, a spa and a pool.. I didn't have a look at any of the hotel rooms, I'll leave that for another day.. There's been a few famous people stay at this hotel too, from international actors and musicians to politicians and a member of British royalty..
L. H.I honestly wish I could give it more stars. Took my Mother there this afternoon for the High Tea. Nothing short of stunning. Staff amazing, decor fabulous and, oh my, the FOOD! All food locally & ethically sourced from the state's south west Cape Arid region. Each morsel was beautifully presented & packed with delicious flavours. I told the Chef, that I 'saw God' & it was a 'religious 'experience. Rivals any high tea in Singapore or Europe.Will most definitely be returning. Thank you to all concerned.

T. H.Best hotel in Perth and honestly, we would go as far to say that Como The Treasury is the best hotel/accomodation we’ve stayed at in Australia as a whole. Accomodations with beautiful interiors and architecture really make us smile, and it’s even better when the atmosphere and hotel staff don’t disappoint too…in fact, the hotel staff are genuinely nice, accomodating and thoughtful. Upon arrival, we got our car valet parked for $50 overnight (which is worth it, we didn’t have to worry about looking for parking elsewhere…which can be a pain in the CBD). Check-in was a breeze, we were welcomed with drinks and had a staff member assisting us and showing us to our room (he even told us a bit about the history of the building). The room itself is a nice size (we booked the smallest room), and well designed/decorated.
Majority of the drinks in the fridge are complimentary (excluding the wine), the nuts and chocolate provided were also complimentary. Drinking water is provided as well, in refillable glass bottles (which are replaced and topped up during turn down service).
Plus, we highly recommend using the tub! The bath salts provided are just divine. It’s an absolutely relaxing experience. The bed linen feels luxurious and comfortable, however I would have preferred the mattress itself to be softer.
Breakfast at Post was included in the room rate for us. We enjoyed the juice most and also the Lychee Black Tea. For lunch and dinner outside of the hotel, lots of restaurants and cafes are in comfortable walking distance from the hotel…so there are heaps of options.
If you want to enjoy a massage/facial at the spa (Como Shambhala), it’s a good idea to give them a call to make a reservation way in advance (especially if you want the couple treatment room). The spa here is very popular.
It’s really a whole package deal when it comes to accomodations, and Como The Treasury hit the nail on the head. We will definitely return for another staycation, and will upgrade our room then!

K.Excellent two night stay at COMO The Treasury. We had high expectations based on previous reviews and acclaim for best hotel in Perth - and they were met. Glad we chose it over the RC.
We ate dinner at POST the first evening - which exceeded expectations. The gnocchi was superb.
Only comment would be that they wanted to seat us immediately beside another table, despite it being largely empty when we arrived and left, and our request to move tables wasn’t warmly met (explanation being they would be busy... evidence said otherwise).
Aside from that blip, service was otherwise exemplary. Breakfast was fantastic both days - both food and service.
The building is beautiful and immaculately clean. Rooms are the same - kudos to the cleaning staff and management on this front.
Gym is well equiped and pool very nice.
Would definitely stay here again. A good start to our holiday.

Afternoon tea at the Treasury Bar was such great experience. Gorgeous French pastries that were a delicious as they were beautiful. The on site spa was also a fabulous experience that was included in our booking package. Don’t miss this place! Location in the heart of everything good about Perth.

The check-in process is simply delightful. From the helpful and pleasant staff, to the complimentary sparkling wine, you are immediately made to feel at home in the unconventional yet stylish lobby. The hallways are abundantly wide, with their sheer scale dwarfed only by the oversize rooms. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed, while maintaining their historical grandeur. There has been no attempt to shoehorn in more rooms to increase profits, and the feel of the hotel is all the better for it. The sheets are the finest cotton, the bath products decadent and the complimentary mini bar a nice touch. All in all, COMO The Treasury is faultless and fully deserving of 5 stars. Well done to all the team who make this hotel the spectacular experience it is.

The stay was amazing. The staff were attentive, polite, friendly and could not do enough to help us. Every person we spoke to knew who we were, which room we had and why we were there.
We came back to our room after the reception to a congratulations card from the hotel manager.
The rooms were beautiful.
The food at the post was beautiful - everyone was raving about it. The service from our waitperson Alice was impeccable. She was knowledgeable about the wine list, gave beautiful recommendations, and made sure everything was kept at the correct temperature. There was no hiccups during the dinner service it all ran beautifully and she was a pleasure to deal with.
A great weekend, a great wedding and a hotel I would highly recommend.

I. P.COMO VALET PARKING
Parking was a breeze, we drove in from St George's Trc entrance, parked our car in front of the hotel, and passed on the key to the valet staff. The price for valet parking is reasonable at $25 (4 hours) to $50 for the full day. During our check-in, the staff informed us that the whole State Building is licenced. Meaning you can bring a glass of wine everywhere you go as long as it's within the building. Fun!
COMO THE TREASURY ROOM
The room at Como the Treasury is spacious, starting from 55 sqm, all the way to 120 sqm for its Como Suite. We stayed in the Heritage Room, a massive 60 sqm room with a view of Cathedral Square. This room has oversized windows that bring in a lot of natural lights during the day.
Everything in the in-room private-bar is complimentary , and then it will be re-stocked daily. Along with it, there are also complimentary coffee and tea.
I love that they have a heated floor system for the bathroom area. Often found in Asian countries, it was such a luxury to see it in Australia! The bathroom has Como Shambhala amenities, and the smell of the body lotion was so reinvigorating! I’m still using it until now (hahaha). The bathtub works a treat , and there’s always a container full of salt next to it. In the same area, you can find the built-in wardrobe, luggage rack, and comfortable plush robes.
There’s a turn-down service every afternoon, which I looked forward to because of the cute treat that we found on the bed. The first night, it was a copy of a story written by a State Building staff on the day Neil Armstrong landed on the moon. The second night, we got a box of chocolate from Sue Lewis!
COMO SHAMBHALA ️
The experience at Como wouldn’t be complete without trying the famous Como Shambhala Urban Escape. We opted for the signature COMO Shambhala Massage (90 minutes). It was such a relaxing massage that I fell asleep immediately. You can access the full wellness menu here. There are four treatment rooms, but only one room with a double bed. If you want to go for a couple massage, you should book the date in advance.
Gym and pool are located on a different floor to the spa, but it is part of the wellness facilities of the hotel. The swimming pool opens until late, and you need the staff to help you access the area after 9 PM. All equipment at the gym is supplied by Technogym, which targeted the area that you want to improve. It’s funny that I couldn’t stop looking at McDonald’s Barrack Street during my workout ️ .
We had a wonderful experience at Como the Treasury. It is definitely above the rank, and no wonder they received an award for the best city hotel.
It is within walking distance to the shopping centres and Perth CBD. It has multiple restaurants, and even a dedicated beer and wine bar. Guests will have different choices for meals during the stay - don’t forget to book early!

M. F.This hotel is in a stunning building. It's also very well located and service is brilliant. I do have two points that I think require improvement: 1) the room I stayed him had one of these new "open bathrooms" (no doors between the bedroom and the bathroom) - I really don't know anyone that likes these! And 2) the blinds in the bathroom allow a lot of light in, which in turn goes into the bedroom (due to 1...). Install some sliding doors between the bedroom and the bathroom and you resolve both!

W. T.We had 2 nights here and it was amazing. When we were greeted at the front door, our bags were immediately delivered to our room and we were offered refreshments whilst checking inn. You don't stand at a Front Desk (which I personally like) like most hotels - you are seated in a lovely room and check-inn is very easy. We were escorted to our suite, which I must say was amazing. We booked a Studio Suite - the suite was large, the bathroom amazing and our view were of the church and the park. The special added touches and the turn down service was greatly appreciated. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had lunch at Post which was lovely and dinner at the Long Chim Thai Restaurant. The entire building is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely visit again when next in Perth.
T. G.I wish I could give this place more stars. Our rooms were perfect! The staff was 5-star! Not only did they greet us with champagne, but they got a little welcome gift for the baby. Before arriving, we informed the staff we were needing a baby monitor and they had no problems getting one for us. Upon entering my room I was greeted with the most divine scent, which is there invigorate oil. I highly suggest visiting their Como spa because it was fantastic!

J. H.Second stay here on NYE was a spur of the moment decision and once again we had a great experience. Staff are brilliant, food and service at all the venues within the building are fantastic. Rooms are massive and very elegant and the building itself won a national architecture award in 2016 as well as numerous other international architecture awards and was voted second best hotel in the world in the Conde Nast Reader's Choice awards. Only minor drawback is the blockout blind in our bathroom (assume the same for other rooms) let in too much light, particularly as it's east facing meaning lots of light enters the room as soon as the sun starts rising.
We will be back again, no doubt.
N. F.I enjoyed high tea at Como the treasury. I loved the venue and presentation of the food. The tea was average. The finger sandwiches were tasty however the bread didn't taste fresh and was a bit hard. The crab treat was delicious. Scones we're nicely made. The sweets were all pretty good. I feel they were too chocolate dominant - I would've liked more freshness included with them in general. Overall I was quite pleased and would consider returning.

The room isltself was insane. Worth every penny, just a once in a lifetime experience to stay somewhere like this. Treat yourself and make a reservation you will not regret it.

S. C.One of the best if not THE best hotels I've ever stayed in. Incredible spacious rooms. I was greeted by name and given a full tour of the property. Petition restaurant is an absolute must. Do use the bath salts they provide... They are heavenly.
L. B.Did not think the service matched the price they were charging at Wildflower. Pre-dinner cocktail service was unbelievably slow, waiter bought out incorrect order and later we were charged for that! Food was very special but had to ask for matching wine to come after food course was bought out (even though we ordered with matching wines). The place is freezing where they hand out blankets instead of adjusting the temperature - which I declined as it was a special night out and I wanted to show off my outfit, not cover it up! Manager then confronted us about the bill explaining he would not charge us for the two drinks (even though we ordered one) but that it would not happen. Don't worry, we won't be wasting our money going back!

1st Visit
Good but not exceptional
Our Taxi driver thought he was taking us to a secret club :D as he had never heard of Como. My wife had been raving on about it being the best in Australia and the second best in the world (allegedly)
On our arrival the door was being fixed and we had to wait outside whilst hoofing our own stuff in. Before we were met by someone in a white shirt who took our stuff from us. Didn't feel very 3 star never mind 5 star.
Check in was quiet and nice. We were given some "Champagne" but this was a Vasse Felix sparkling pinot noir and not technically a Champagne. It was ok. I would expect for the prices charged an actual french premium champagne.
The place was quiet despite being full, we had room 44 which is their largest aside from the suite. It was nicely decorated, light but felt very Ikea'ish / Swedish almost a bit cheap. The amenities were good but the mini bar is included but range not that much.
We used the lap pool which was good but service was SLOOOOOW. we asked for cocktail menu/drinks menu and it took 40 minutes!
The staff were french and were nice to talk to, interactive and attentive.
The corridors were spacious and the hotel decor was very nice.
Look this is probably the best Perth is going to get at present for a boutique hotel. My expectation was much higher based on reviews but compared to Atlantis, Burj Al Arab, Emirates Palace, King George V (Paris) and Baccarat NYC I cannot put the Como into even the same league.
J.Hands down BEST CBD HOTEL IN AUSTRALIA. Enormous rooms beautifully designed with huge bathrooms featuring walk in showers and the highest quality fittings of any hotel in the country.
Superb food - the breakfast is to die for TIP: you must order the REAL toast with avocado and eggs - it's my favourite meal in any hotel in Australia
Location is also terrific - walk to everything.

S. B.I had a surprise overnight stay here for my birthday, in mid-Dec. From the moment we were greeted [after we found reception, it was super busy everywhere] everything was perfect, lovely drink while we waited during check-in, daughter took a few selfies on the big chair. Hubby whispered to them, that I did not know 'everything' yet, so things were hushed. The lovely lady who walked us to our room, was so chatty, telling us things about the hotel, answering my hubby's questions
Beautiful, stunning room, it was brilliant, everything perfect. I especially loved the bath and the great smelling bath salts. Had to use them. The bed, best night sleep.. [and I have a bad back, so sometimes the beds can cause me issues, not here, it was great.] Even our daughter {who didn't stay the night but came the next morning for breakfast} jumped in bed, saying something like 'heaven'. Our window view I enjoyed, facing the bell tower, watching people in the garden across the street, seeing the night lights. Loved that there were books in the room to read, and some local books, art etc. Very WA.. Tea, coffee. Everything perfect. We did eat here, {see review for that - super yummy} and found a new fav restaurant. We walked around/up/down the hotel, loved how the pool has a view of the city. Close to walk to Elizabeth Quay. The next morning, my daughter and I had been booked into having a spa treatment. Lovely and they have great items.. Purchased some of their creams. Love the way they do things.

The price sounds steep, however the inclusions were two complimentary glasses of champagne on arrival, valet parking, two complimentary honey cakes, a bottle of champagne, free mini bar (except spirits), 3 course dinner at Petition, two tickets to the Last Soiree Fringe show in the Edith Tent (very good seats), and breakfast for two at 'Post' (continental and anything on the menu). This was the best hotel I've ever seen and experienced.
