Pleasant surprise stay st the Inn. Rooms are modern and very spacious. They are all newly renovated with beautiful bathrooms. Unfortunately cafe and restaurant are currently closed, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Went today for a casual late lunch. Had the chicken gai yang, loved it so much I had to write a review. Excellent flavour and perfectly cooked. I have been several times (I'm a local) and the food never disappoints. Beautiful location, the gardens are amazing and great service.

Came in for lunch : decent selection of beers and had beef and Guinness pie with mash which was sensational, beef tender and tasty, real creamy mash and flavoursome gravy. Knockout. Staff very friendly too and pleasant shady outdoor area. Some great pubs in the hills.

As with all restaurants, quality seems to depend on who's in the kitchen on the day. First time we went the lunch was fresh ,fantastic and beautifully presented. Went again yesterday and I think we got the recooked and burnt leftovers from the day before. Exactly the same order but no comparison. Consistency and freshness is EVERYTHING with food. Won't risk my money there again.. Can't anyone get it consistently right?

Beautifully decorated, huge rooms. Fantastic bathroom with double sinks and large shower. Super comfy beds. Definitely 5 star room. Fabulous food and great service. We were here for the keto degustation night, which was amazing, will definitely be back.

"Beautiful and extremely delicious". Lovely garden and indoor restaurant to sit back and relax by a trickling fountain or a warm fire. The food was amazing, every time I've dined there I've been pleasantly surprised. All food with a twist of gourmet, so delicious we overeat every time. It's been a perfect place for my family to come together and feast as well as a romantic and private experience for those special moments. Loved it. Loved the service. Only way to improve would be complimentary chocolates :)

Visiting Perth Hills area, we found the Mahogany Inn online, and the handy location an good reviews helped us make the decision to book here, and we've had absolutely no regrets. The in is located of the Hwy in Mundaring checking in was a breeze with friendly and helpful staff. The corridors and courtyards gave a sense of a different era. We were impressed with the massive rooms with high ceilings and modern bathroom. The sleep was good with the bed if anything a little too soft for me, but my wife liked it. The shower was a bit fiddley with the temperature as well. We also had a very scrumptious dinner in the inn, and would highly recommend the food there. Overall a great stay and definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed a magnificent 3 course lunch on Saturday and the food was amazing. 3 choices for entree,mains and dessert Staff were obliging and courteous and efficient. There were 23 people in our party celebrating our club's annual dinner and would thoroughly recommend a visit to Inn Mahogany, A big thank you to all staff, including the kitchen staff for preparing and presenting top quality meals.

Discovered this gem on Saturday following a recent recommendation. Booked dinner but being an hours drive from home my husband and I opted to spend the night. Beautiful food, friendly helpful staff in a spotlessly clean environment made for a very enjoyable experience. Three of us showed up at 11am and chose to sit in the dining room because it is air conditioned. The brunch menu is terrific fun. The chicken and waffles with jalapeños is a perfectly balanced dish. The nasi goreng was a generous serve with tasty chicken satay. The mushroom bruschetta was another generous serve, well-seasoned. When noon rolled around we enjoyed some well made cocktails. For ‘dessert’ we had excellent affogatos (with Frangelico) and a serve of warm, fresh scones. The service was good-natured and attentive. A great place!

Lovely little place, ambience just gorgeous however food and drink a let down. Mulled wine unfortunately not the greatest and the share plate was extremely ordinary with deep fried fish, octopus and chicken. Bao buns came empty?. Please remove the fungus, it simply doesn't belong there or compliment the rest of the plate in anyway.

Such a beautiful spot. Sitting in the outdoor area shaded by the magnificent tall trees you could be forgiven for not wanting to leave! On our visit we had the dessert special arancini balls which were delightful. Wanted to eat a lot more but the main meals we had were taking up a lot of room...

Awesome... a very pleasant surprise. Was looking for a pub to take the family for dinner and came across the mahogany inn. The atmosphere, food and staff were all excellent. There was one minor issue with one meal, the staff replaced the entire meal immediately and we received several apologies. Couldn't ask any more. Price like most places in Perth could have been lower but was worth it.

Was the most amazing meal I have had in years, without costing me an arm and a leg. We all ordered mains and desserts with a bowl of chips for the table. We got way more food then we thought we would, resulting in the giant delicious side ships being mostly untouched, and I do mean giant. Not only were the mains massive and delicious but the desserts were just as amazing. Would and will be eating there again and again, especially with the secluded outdoor dining.

I was more than impressed with my meal, it was delicious! Everyone seemed to like their orders except for one dish, a pizza which had a measly portion of cheese and tomato scattered here and there. So, wouldn't recommend the pizza but everything else was devine. Lovely service and great overall atmosphere. Would come back and hopefully they have the Hot Fudge Churros this time! Prices were heavy but it was worth it for what we received, food presentation was amazing and would DEFINITELY recommend trying the wedges they're great :)

Went for a friends wedding, lovely old australiana style pub in the hills, felt very cosy while still being modern. Indoor,outdoor seating and had a little veggie garden, the wedding party stayed at the inn and i understand they loved it. If i ever go back to the region ill visit again

We enjoyed a fabulous late lunch at the Inn. The hospitality was fantastic & the experience enjoyable, service was fast & efficient. I had The bit of Tart made from goats cheese/veg & Parmesan with reduced balsamic rocket & Parmesan cheese salad cost $19, my mum had the lamb shanks with mash & sweet honey carrots it was $34 and she said it was the best lamb shanks she has ever had, when you don't even need a knife for shanks you know it's good! Dessert consisted of Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce & cream (ice cream would have been nice) $12 & the vanilla brûlée with caramelised fig $12 Fantastic food, fabulous experience & great staff!!!

My experience at Mahogany Inn restaurant was very good, the food was fantastic, my mother commented "best pork belly I've ever had".. The waiters were responsive and took their time with you, but interrupted my conversation a few times.. Satisfactory for any occasion and definitely will be revisiting in the future.. Best vanilla bean brulee ever. Worst hand cut chips, dry and flaccid. Chips should be crunchy! Equivalent steak with better chips at half the price is to be had at 7th Ave in Midland. It's past time Inn Mahogany kitchen fixed this problem to reflect the price they charge.
