Fantastic location, fantastic staff and facilities. The beds are thick and comfortable. Guests are also a nice bunch. Also it has AIRCON most Perth other hostels dont have this....take note for those staying during Perth summer.

One of the greatest managers I have ever seen, she is so helpful and trying to solve problems by communication. This is one of the best places to stay in Perth!

It's nice place , I stayed 10 nights there.Big kitchen,clean bathroom and nice basement area (lounge) .Bed mattress are amazing , like a 4 star hotel! Super friendly staff! Will be better to don't put tourists and workers in the same dorm room , because people who stayed there for long time and work makes rooms very messy and when tourists came in the room is very disappointed ! Also need to improve WiFi !

Very comfortable bed. Well equipped share bathroom with hair dryer. An excellent kitchen with fully equipped microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer, cooking utensils, (you name it).. but not appreciate by some of the guests whom did not wash up after used. This spoils but need to wait for the staff to clean up during office hours. Good security, main and back doors are locked after reception closed and only can be opened with room card. Very convenient to get food nearby, such as 7-11, McD, Woolworth supermarket. Bus stops and train station going to anywhere in town is a walking distance. Definitely worth the money.

Have stayed here many times over the last 5 years. Always clean, always comfortable. Friendly staff, have always been able to make bookings at short notice. Great showers, beds and rooms with air conditioning. Will always come back here when I come to Perth.

Clean rooms - cheap, six bed dorms, I opted for 2 bed share room and coz it was quiet, had it all to myself. Clean comfy bed - close by female bathroom (or male)., Staff were really nice and helpful. V large lounge and kitchen with huge fridges in the basement. Other guests friendly and chatty - a French guy was makinng pancakes for everyone.

We been stay here for 1 week. It was really a good experiences. except on the 1st day. we arrival early but they was no one open door for us even we try to ring the bell.(we did email to inform will be arrived early but no reply from your side. ) finally on 9am after we entry the inn then only we find out is due to reception was not 24/7. But is ok.we can accepted that. Is not a problem for us. We get a very clean n nice room @ 309 all the public area is clean n odourless. there really a good location which near to all the place we want to go. Woolworth,Forrest chase, murray n hay street mall, train station, busport, even Elizabeth quay also not far just 1km walking distance. stay for a week. i surprise that we get 1 time room service by them. i mean housekeeping service for our room. which quite good! all the facilities are functioning and we really enjoy to stay at here. They have spacious place for all the public area. Kitchen, home theater, reading area, reading room@lv1, computer area laundry service by coin each time $4 for washer and dryer. they do provide complimentary detergents powder n rack hanger. Which a second thing I'm surprise for! Fyi they have a good mattress make you sleep n rest well. this is all the matters! which make us feel worth for money. we also meet new friend here. they do provide luggage service for in house guest who's early check in and after check out you can keep your luggage in the luggage room for FREE till reception closing time. which is another thing surprise us. Only 1 thing I'm curious about is . what the free breakfast timing cuz we didnt get to try the free breakfast. This backpacker is great and clean and located in CBD area so it makes your trip in Perth easier. However, they have another gate to a kitchen and common area from outside and they didn't lock the gate up so I saw a few homeless people and aborigins use the place and walk around. For just in case, the gate should be locked up for our safe stay since this inn is not a public place.

The Kangaroo Inn is generally a great place to stay, they're right in the middle of the CBD. During my stay all but one of the staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. The one staff member that wasn't was rude, blunt and very demanding. He enforces the rules very strictly, but doesn't follow them himself My friend and I think he's the inn keeper's son, but we're not sure

The Kangaroo Inn was really great. Fairly pricey, but provides everything you need. It's clean, secure, and the staff are friendly. We stayed 3 nights in a private room from the day we arrived in Australia and it was perfect.

(Translated) Room clean but small. 6-person mixed bream was used and there was no creak in bed. It is annoying to use a card key, but it is safe! The floor is carpet, but when cleaning the room, the vacuum doesn't seem to turn. It would be nice to have shoes to wear indoors. If you don't have it, there is a cheap store right across the street, but it would be nice to buy it there. The bathroom is also clean, and it seems that there are times when the hot water doesn't come out. After a while, there are times when it comes out and sometimes it doesn't come out. The kitchen is large and kept clean and full of cooking utensils. The refrigerator freezer is also big, so it's great to use It's all good....Wi-Fi is garbage...that's it..... ....if the wifi was good...you would have been a really good hostel... And as of May, it's under construction nearby, so there's a little noise, but there's an earplug in the lobby so you can pack it. (Original) 방 깨끗한 편이지만 작음. 6인 믹스도미를 이용했고 침대에서 삐걱소리도 안남. 카드키이용해서 귀찮지만 안전함! 바닥은 카펫인데 방청소할때 바큠은 안돌리는 것같아ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 실내에서 신을 신발은 있는게 좋을것같아요. 없으면 바로 맞은편이 저렴하게 물건파는데가 있는데 그곳에서 구입하는 것도 좋을듯 욕실도 깨끗하고 가끔 따뜻한물 안나올때도 있는듯 ㅠ 좀 오래틀다보면 나올때도있고 안나올때도있어요. 키친도 크고 깨끗하게 유지되며 조리도구 전부 갖춰있어요. 냉장고 냉동실도 커서 이용하기 좋아요 다좋은데 ....와이파이가 쓰레기예요...그것만 ... .. ....와이파이만 좋았다면 넌..정말 좋은 호스텔이였을거야.. 그리고 5월 현재 근처에서 공사중이라서 소음이 조금있는 편인데 로비에 이어플러그 있으니까 챙기면되요
