K. U.We almost didn’t book to stay here due to some of the negative reviews.. but so glad we did end up staying here.. just hubby, toddler and myself for 2 nights, we had a big 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and balcony.
The place is a little dated BUT very liveable and clean..
The staff is super friendly, respectful and helpful.
The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and clean.
Only “complaint” would be that the floor boards needs to be fixed or even if they laid down a rug that would be suffice.
The shower was lovely, everything worked.. and when wifi cut out the staff fixed it promptly..
We will definitely be back and plan on staying here frequently :)

C.I am an Eastern State fly in fly out worker who over the last 2 years has had 2-- 6 month stints of staying in WA with the covid19 pandemic, my accomadation was at the Mont Clair apartments in East Perth, during my time there I always made welcomed from the cleaners through to the manager the office staff were always there with a smile when I visited them and only too happy to help out, the rooms were always clean and ready when I arrived, the apartments are close to all amenities that are required for someone with no transport, very easy to walk to the main city and take in what Perth has to offer, and not far in the other direction to see the Eagles or dockers play footy.
To the staff of the mont Clair thank you for making my stay enjoyable and you should all be very proud of the service that you bring to the Mont Clair.

T. C.It was very easy to book, you get what you pay for! The only downside I have about this apartment/hotel is that upon arrival, going into my room I did a little check around because I could smell something musty, the dishwasher was FULL of old dirty stinky dishes...not very impressed on the cleanliness, hence why I say....you get what you pay for
L. I.My favourite spot in the city. Units are well furnished and the staff so friendly. Great access around the city as it is on the free bus system. Gym is small but the pool is nice and big. Great stay.
M. F.Great location and the apartment was huge. The weather wasn't great but the size of the apartment made it feel like the kids were not on top of us. Everything that you need in the apartment and the staff were really nice.
C. P.A few things were fairly rundown, a couple of things needed maintenance (they really need to replace the sofa in the room I was in) but staff were great to deal with and glad to help. It's in a fantastic location, red cat right outside, and the room was well insulated against noise which I appreciated so I had a good sleep. Beds were very comfortable also.
T. D.Look you get what you pay for right? So $120 a night for a 2bed/2bath apartment in the city, don't expect the Ritz. The rooms are dated and they need a bit of work. But ours was clean and had all we needed. Cheap and cheerful, perfect for a quick overnighter. It was a bit like a motel room, and the price reflected that. If you want corridors that don't smell like cigarettes, air con that works, and a functioning TV, this is not the place for you. I also recommend wearing shoes because the floorboards are loose and uneven, and pinch unsuspecting toes. If you don't care about those things and just want a comfy bed for the night and a secure place to park your car, this place is great.

J. W.Nice staff. Room good. Often lots of rubbish bags left in lift by cleaning staff or around in corridors which looks disgusting for clients and potential trip hazard. One of our two rooms had not been cleaned properly prior to us arriving.
A. M.Stayed here 5 nights. The receptionist is friendly. The apartment is small but a decent size. The bed is comfy and the bed linen was nice and clean. The bathroom could do with an update but it did have a washer and dryer. The cutlery and dishes were a bit grubby. The room next door were smokers so our apartment smelled really bad, even the curtains. There is a mini gym and a pool which is good. The location is very good, you can walk into the centre in 15 minutes.
l.This place sounds flash but is far from it...
The reception is tucked away behind doors and staff we encountered were not very helpful.
The price, whilst lower than many was far from cheap but with parking included onsite is fair
There is no restaurant but you can Uber...
If you are thinking of staying here as a wheelchair accessible option like we tried then you will be disappointed if you need shower access...It wasn't suitable for our needs as advertised and sought something else that turned out MUCH more expensive at short notice... Receptionist indicated we would need to pay but to their credit management offered a full refund...This could easily been avoided with more honest offerings on their website and I hope to see this change...
Other than that, not bad but not good either considering our experience.

J. S.Real apartment living in the city. Pool gym close to free city cat bus and all other transport .quick walk to swan river. Many eating places. Great kitchen and laundry in apartment. City noise not bad very quiet at night and early am. Locked at 7pm so safe. Only complaint was my lounge was sagging an couldn't sit on it. Balcony lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price great. Will stay again

Very noisy air conditioner, even noisier fridge and a tinge re the smell of cigarette smoke. Also, damage to the rooms kitchen bench and a wet bathroom. The lounge was worn out and uncomfortable. This was a single room for a disabled person.
R. B.Stay here every time we come to the city. Had one bad room which wasn't cleaned very good and needed some renovations. That room was 3 bed 2 bathroom so won't get that again. 2 bed 2 bathroom are the best rooms. Some really great food places down the road and close to Swan River and the ever improving Elizabeth Quays. Service has always been adequate but never great. Kid friendly and value for money. Definitely recommend.
d. c.Pleasant staff, clean, well presented foyer & reception. Somewhat bizarre setup though the building is shared with the hotel next door. The room was a 2 bedroom, clean & neat the couch was a fold out bed so they are a bit lacking in comfort when sitting on them unless they are high quality(This one wasnt) small LCD tv. Kitchen was nice with a new oven & fridge, but lacked utensils & the handle fell of the spatula? Also a ration of dishwashing liquid & not a sponge but a scrubber which brings the class of the place down. You get what you pay for here l am glad l got a discount from a web site or l would have felt a little ripped off with the standard rate.
P.A very good value for money stay. Pleasant hassle free staff and very clean well appointed apartments with everything you would need. Free secure parking a bonus and the location was perfect for our short stay.
Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.
B. C.A beautiful place to stay, the rooms were spacious and pleasant feeling. Enjoying a nice chilled wine on the balcony I was able to take in the nearby hustle and bustle of the city. I will definitely be going back, time and time again this place delivers well above the price it asks.

E.Really friendly staff, awesome large and clean apartments, will definitely book here again when I return! Due to different timings with my group I stayed in a few different rooms and the only fault I found was that in one apartment the a/c was really loud which is basically no reason to complain! Close to the CBD, parks and waterfront, bus routes are also close and when I was leaving the staff members were really lovely and friendly!

T. M.Anything we asked for was immediately taken care of. The rooms are to die for. The lifts were quite slow and the staff did not tell us about using the swipe card for the lift. Pillows very thin. Bed was uncomfortable. Lots of hair in shower and on the floor. Highly recommend the place.
L. l.We paid $160 for a two bedroom apartment, and considering the location of this place, right on Hay street in the heart of the city, it represents excellent value for money.
However, calling it a boutique is a bit of a stretch. The apartments are well furnished and self contained, with kitchen and laundry facilities, but the bathroom really let the place down.
Old, very grimy and dirty tiles in the shower, in places they had put white sealant over the top of filthy grout underneath rather than properly clean it. Additionally, my husband slipped in the shower as they had left a coating of some sort of cleaning product on the floor (a law suit waiting to happen!).
The 'king' bed (two singles pushed together) was unbelievably hard. Possibly new, but obviously cheap. I had hard springs digging in and waking me up all night, I actually woke up achey and sore in the morning.
If a cheap stay at a good location is what you want this is great, but don't come here looking for luxury.
A. F.Good value, well sized 2 bedroom family apartment with kitchen and large bathroom with washer and dryer. TheWiFi was unusable for all practical purposes (so slow it takes minutes to load a basic page) but everything else was fine.

Appreciated real milk in fridge on arrival not long life. Plenty of cafes nearby. Parking charges can be very high. The apartments are huge.

We were a bit disappointed with the room. Room was grubby. E-mailed hotel twice about my dissatisfaction but they have not replied to me.

R. V.This was a lovely Room with all the features I required to enjoy my stay, unfortunately then I met the lady behind the desk downstairs in the lobby. I'm not sure what or who had happened to the woman, but she was more them getting her own back by paying her I'll temper forward. I will never forget the glance of disgust she reluctantly showed my partner and I when we stepped up to the concierge desk to see if we could possibly booked the room again, and I swear to you all, she made me wait a full 5 minutes before glancing up again at me. "What" she visibly forced the words out at me, well; that was more than enough for me to be done with the place. A pity too... They were nice suite's perfectly situated in the Perth CBD.
