My son has been staying here for the last week in quarantine. On 2 occasions I dropped off some provisions for him. Both times I was greeted by very polite and knowledgeable Security Officers and Hotel Staff.
Please pass on these comments to them as I feel that they were going the extra mile in what are difficult times.

Did 2 weeks quarantine. Staff were very helpful. Food was very good. Nice room I had a decent view looking towards the NW and Kings Park.

It was a 14-day quarantine stay. For me, it was a total relaxation and concentration holiday. The hotel team and management are excellent to assure you are safe, taken care of and comfortable. They respected my vegan diet, and the food was amazing, with very abundant portions. The room is spacious with a wonderful sofa where you can relax. The bathroom is luminous, and the shower is exceptional. The health team and nurses were very kind, the covid tests are done very quickly and with ease. I loved the french-speaking team. Thank you so much everyone.

I am in quarantine, so all contact is over the phone or email. I have to say that all the staff is very helpful and doing their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Also I am really pleasantly surprised about the tasty food. The portions are big and the variety of food is excellent. Thank you team for looking so well after us.

I am in Hotel quarantine and as daunting as it felt on arrival I would like to thank the staff for their prompt service. The food is delicious with generous portions and is always warm. The room is quite spacious and the TV has built in Chrome cast.

I am completing my quarantine today at Novotel, Perth.
Though it did seem like a big mountain to climb, when I arrived 2 weeks ago, it has been a wonderful experience all throughout.
The room facilities were excellent & sustainable without any housekeeping activity within the room for 2 weeks.
Food was also very delicious since it is an impossible task to cater to tastes of such a heterogeneous crowd staying in the hotel
The reception team was exceptional with their patience, prompt service, result oriented approach & willingness to help as much as possible.
I would like to acknowledge the wonderful work done by the Reception / Front Desk team especially Mayara, Jimmy & Matthew
Great leadership by Ana Royal
Heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Novotel, Perth.

My parents stay in this hotel for quarantine. Really appreciate all of the staff and chef in this hotel! Their service is fabulous!! The staffs have been very caring to my parents to check on them if they need anything etc.
Their food surprisingly super delicious and my parents really really enjoyed it. This makes them felt at ease in the room for 14 days. Thank you Chef! You really done a superb great job! And their hotel room got a city view which is bonus!!!
Thank you so much! We really appreciate it. 😊🙏

My review is based on the need to be close to the city and not close to the river or beaches or parks etc.
Very comfortable and centrally located in the city and close to train station/central bus system. Staff friendly and accomodating.
Only negative for me is parking is limited and expensive, but being so central a car may not be necessary.

I’m in hotel quarantine in Novotel Murray Perth room 829 and overall the hotel has been good. The process is efficient. They give you plenty of information. Call you daily to see if you have any room service needs and check on your well being. The food is excellent. !
My only complaint is that the corridor security guards were 2 meters outside my room and noisy Chatting on their phones , watching loud movies, talking with eachother day and night. ( there should only be one but often two or three were there.) I complained to reception and frequently had to ask them to keep quiet but they would apologise and carry on. Being woken up most mornings at 0500 Or 0600 is not acceptable
I was in room 829.
Anyone going into quarantine make sure your room is away from the security guard.

was here for quarantining. came expecting the worst; came out relatively surprised instead. Food was absolute nightmare but was mostly edible. the facility/room itself was pretty nice actually. the showers for one was incredible imo. and the beds were incredibly comfy.
all and all.. Not too shabby. fix the food. and you’ve got a pretty good quarantine stay id say.
thanks for making my two weeks nowhere near as hellish noveltel as i was expecting, appreciated.

I’ve noticed a number of negative reviews here which might be the case in the past. My recent hotel quarantine experience was great. Which means the staff have done a really good job on improving the service.

An extraordinary experience...Nice hotel.

In mandatory quarantine which I was dreading but the room is clean and comfortable, the bed is sooo good, the food is great and the staff are wonderful! No complaints from me at all.

There was some lapse for providing international adapter for charging my laptop / phone, but same was addressed diligently by the Manager Miss.Ana Royal. Security staff were very rude while checking in but again I guess the manager had a word with the security team as they were acceptably good while checking out.

For quarantine - ALl the staff were wonderful and our daily iced lattes from the coffee shop downstairs was the most delicious highlight! Thanks guys-great job.

Thankyou Novotel! Quarantine is a tough thing to go through, it will get you down and skew your view on things. The Novotel and the other WA government services did a great job in making us feel welcome and looking after us. The food was healthy and tasty, and anything I asked for was brought to me promptly, I never had to ask twice.

I'm currently staying at the Novotel on Murray. If 6 stars were available, I'd give it to them. The room is comfortable, I'm sleeping the best I have in a long time (amazing mattress!), but the real credit and point of difference go to the reception staff, who have been exceedingly thoughtful, kind, pleasant to deal with and attentive. They really have been the highlight of my stay and it has made the world of difference!

Stayed he recently for hotel quarantine, and as such this is a review of the room only.
The room is a decent size, though not huge, and is very well appointed and designed. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The all purpose arm-chair was fantastic for eating, working, drinking and relaxing. Fantastic rain shower, and well laid out bathroom. Excellently thought out wardrobe space, with iron and ironing board. Nice chaise lounge. Good big TV with Chrome-cast. Practical alarm clock with wireless charging, USB charging, and Bluetooth. Good soundproofing, very rarely disturbed by neighbors' rooms or outside noise. Excellent blackout curtains. Air-con worked well and didn't feel stuffy despite no fresh air for 14 days. Power points in all the right spots, including USB plugs. Nice glasses and mugs (only negative is Nescafe instant coffee, but the cappuccinos from the cafe were good). Good storage with bedside tables. Good solid spot to put a suitcase. Classic modern Novotel style. If you have to be stuck anywhere for 15 days this was the place to be.

Good service by the staff during my 14 day quarantine stay.
Only issue is the fire alarms going off between 12am to 2 am this would not have been a big deal if the staff had better communicated what to do over the speakers during the alarms.
C.
Nice room decor. Clean and well appointed with no less then 8 usb charge ports and wireless charging on the clock radio. all outlets are easily accessible. Thermostat didnt go below 20 and room was quite stuffy. Parking below hotel available (charged) but not many spaces especially when you consider the size of the hotel! Some parts are still unfinished. Well equipped gym, hardly any seating around the pool. The blinds are installed in a way that leaves gaps that allow a lot of light in (these pictures are with extra pillows holding the curtain closer to the wall, taken on mobile with no filter or night mode) so take an eye mask if you need to rest in daylight. Shower is good with option of wall or rainfall heads however the lack of door means water goes everywhere. Standard toiletries from across the brand. Room has small fridge with two bottle water but no indication if this is complementary or charged.
I would try this hotel again once it has been open for some time longer

Just stayed at the new Novotel Murray Street in Perth.
Normally I'd stay at Novotel Langley, but it's really starting to show it's age so I decided to give here a try. Very mixed experience!
Still definitely in the soft opening phase and you can tell that from many aspects.
Welcomed as a platinum member, and a plate of macarons and card in the room.
Room was nice in the "refurbished" Novotel style found elsewhere.
The air conditioning was very noisy up in the roof area above my door. Woke me up on the first night twice. The front desk staff said that they'd had complaints about this before from other rooms and it was something to do with "a piece of plastic" the installers forgot to take off the air con units. Hmmm...
Buffet breakfast in the restaurant was nice and room service seems to be operating off a limited menu at the moment.
Definitely some training issues at the hotel with room service dinner being brought up without cutlery for example. Called down to get some sent up, but it took them 15 minutes to send it up so by the time they did that, my food was almost cold. I'm not sure why but the "Chefs Selection of Ice Cream" on the menu resulted in 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream with no topping or anything else.
Automatic wake up service on TV advertised but not functioning. No minibar in the rooms yet either.
Despite leaving my towels on the rail to reuse again, housekeeping gave me new ones every day at the same for toiletries. Not necessary and defeats the purpose of trying to reduce your impact of travelling.
One thing I did notice was that most of the staff there seemed to be European (mainly French) or here on working holiday visas. They were friendly enough, but it would have been nice to see the hotel giving some young local Aussies wanting a career in the hospitality industry a chance too.
So, all in all, not a bad stay but could have been a lot better though... but hopefully things will get better over time as they settle in. Definitely some training needed.

I have been staying here for a 14 day forced quarantine period and have nothing but praise and respect for all the hotel staff, nurses and doctors for being very professional, compassionate and understanding.
The food has been brilliant and varied.

Currently spending 14 days quarantine here. An acceptable, new, very clean hotel but don't expect any fresh air for your stay. Wanted to give some advice to those who will be quarantining here soon: Ask for a room on the West side of the building, above the 4th floor if you can. Otherwise you will have NO direct natural light at all! The East side of the building faces straight onto a huge new empty apartment building that blocks all of the light It is so close that noise reverberates on the facades of the buildings. This is particularly a problem due to the Magnet House Night Club on the same street. The loud dance music and bass radiates down the space between the two buildings making sleeping at night difficult. It is bad enough you are completely locked in, you at least want to be able to sleep at night! You will not be able to change your room after you check in, so try to get one on the west side as soon as you arrive.

5 star for Sarah at reception, she’s management material in the making and I wish her all the best in her endeavours. The professionalism of the reception staff was amazing.
The hotel room is fresh and really nice to stay in with aircon resolved. I think this is going to be a great hotel once the early stages have been sorted out. The gym is good, the pool is an oasis. This really will be a gem and issues were being sorted out over the week I was there.
I was a platinum for ~10 years and then dropped to a Silver of Accor. There are some honest issues which I would expect you will get sorted I did stay the week Sun - Fri so I got to see a lot.
- Night 1 the aircon did not work and I was in a 40+ degree room for 4+ hrs (fixed 2am onwards)
- Night 1,2,4 the room was 30+ degrees because cleaners did not leave card in for the aircon.
- no water bottles in the room on check in this was resolved for night 2 onward.
- I got a knock on the door at ~7am by the Aircon guy who still thought I had a problem with my aircon. Polite guy but WTF. Sarah followed up on this.
- no minibar (you could be doing this without alcohol for now, get the process in place)
- the pool closes at 8pm ummm... not cool 10pm is standard for Perth, check your Accor mates down the road @ Art! Also I would check the filtering.
- Breakfast isn’t busy at the moment however when it is I hope that the chef is closer to the customers for special egg orders. Also you don’t have eggs Benedict on the special orders, I know the Benedict isn’t the easiest however it should be there.
- Breakfast also has been leaving the lid off the potato hash brown so they are stone cold, I passed This on.
- I think there should be an identifier for the F&B staff so public know who they are Eg. Name badge or uniform, it can be casual however something to identify them. I usually wear a black shirt, should have served customers coffee and seen how many people I could get to know.
- there is one loft that says ‘French Door Opening/Closing) apparently it’s saying Front. You may also want to check the OHS/building code for the speed the door closes on the French lift.
- The phones in my room 2612 went ‘bring’ once and stopped. I think you need to check how calls are received in rooms, took me 20min to figure out where the random noice was coming from.
- not having a alcohol license on launch is not great and even the fact of not having a late night menu isn’t in line with the 4 star rating.
Again this is clearly a great hotel in the making and the passion from those like Sarah at reception shows that when things are all in place you have some great people in the team to drive customer service and the ongoing management of the hotel.

Good location & helpful staff. Will not say as best experience due to 14 days manadatory quarantine, but staff was good & quick to reply. Rooms were little small & food was ok.

Good things:
comfortable bed, modern room, city view, nice lobby area and nice looking bar facility (now of course closed)
Bad things:
I could not use bathroom while waiting to check in as I was told it is not covid-safe
Sometimes I had to wait long to have my food from Deliveroo brought upstairs and when it was finally brought up it was not hot anymore
Quarantine food not tasty
Stains on the carpet
Loud noises from the streets in the nights
Room quite small
I will probably come back here when hotel is back to normal operations to get a better opinion on this place.

The Novotel is a lovely hotel with well decorated rooms and comfy furniture. We are on the 25th floor and the view is amazing!

Far from best, and far from worst!
Food - 1 star
All ather 4-5 stars
And what's the strange, closed door in my room?

very well-appointed and lavishly adorned hotel. great location, right in the middle of the city and within walking distance of so many other amenities/facilities. with very warm, friendly and professional front office staffers Divya and Alice who took such good care of us

3 Stars for a 3 star property.
Got put here for 14 day quarantine.
Will never be on my list if i had the choice.
Not a 4 star property as presented online.
Courteous Staff (not all).
Food is pretty average, can understand its not their normal food but still should put some effort into whatever limited choices offered.
Rooms are average decor and small. No working desk. Only a small coffee table that either u can us as a desk.
No sunlight on westside at all till 4th floor due to the external elevation.
Very noisy at night over the weekend.
Would hate to think that but I guess guests are profiled at checkin and given rooms accordingly..

New hotel , still in the soft opening stage . Good value for money , good breakfast and WiFi . No liquor licence yet no no drinking at the bar and restaurant open only for breakfast.
U. E.
Great location, room was tidy and had that new feel, the room was too warm at 20C to sleep comfortably as the temperature cannot be adjusted.
R. C.
Great location. Stayed there for the soft opening. So we didn't get to use all facilities as they weren't completed. But great staff

(Translated) The experience was not very good, since it was assigned as a confinement hotel for 14 days.
Not being able to enjoy its facilities, correctly.
It has no windows, they are windows that do not allow opening.
The food, they only gave us a normal menu option and a vegetarian one. And the choice was for 2 consecutive days. Food with a totally Asian influence with great seasoning and vastly spicy, also the supply of fish is missing.
The presentation in disposable containers does not give a good feeling, as well as the lack of plates and cutlery. In other hotels assigned for confinement, they provided metal cutlery and plates, although cleaning them was on their part, which gives the food a different appearance.
(Original)
